DonnaplayFalse Advertising and Unauthorized Charge

An advertisement led to DonnaPlay said that I can watch movies for free after registeration. In the process I filled in my credit card and found there are only a five-day trail! And the movie it promised is not available! Moreover, it charges much payment after the trail! Now I have cancelled my membership and I definitely won't trust the website any more! I wanna cancel the bind of credit card but there's no access! I strongly require cancelling the bind!

    I subscribed to a free months trail, then to subscribe it was pay £1.99. They took 2.95 from my account on the 29/07/15. Even after paying I could not watch the film! and the films available are old. So you are lead to believe new releases are available! A further payment of £11.95 was taken from my account on the 13/08/15 two weeks after the supposed 1 month free trial which actually cost £1.99 then £2.95 was taken. This made my account overdrawn which cost me another £28.00! I cancelled the unauthorised and misleading direct debit with my bank. On the 12/09/15 a further £11.95 has been taken! For what exactly? The telephone contact number for Donnaplay.com is not an actual contact number! To cancel you have to register and pay a cancellation fee of which I am not paying due to the fact they have already stolen my money. The London office, registered as Content Roots ltd is now a dormant company so it is a SCAM!

      DonnaplayFraud and dishonesty

      Do not use Donnaplay, it is a costly mistake.

      Having signed up for a free trial, I foolishly agreed to pay a dollar, I was subsequently charged £1 about $1.50 plus a further £9.49 in order to get out of my membership. Complain to your credit card company and get your money back.

        DonnaplaySpam And Fake

        I was actually looking forward to watch the Naruto: Baruto Movie today and i went through the same problem which most of you guys have mentioned. Gave out the credit card number and they charged me $2.00 yet the movie was not in the website and when i tried to log in again it said invalid username and password. They are fake and they get people saying it is free to watch the movie yet have to give information out. I hope everyone cancel their credit card accounts and place an order for a new one. Be safe.

          This may well be a front for a Chinese hacking site, since another Chinese site with a fake home page also offers my book for free.

          Please do not download my book: The Earth Knows My Name. Buy it legally at a book store or online via Beacon Press or Amazon. But do not participate in the scams that rob authors of their meagre royalties.

            Donnaplaytaking money from bank

            on the 28th of July 2015 I went on the Donnaplay website there have taken many payments out of my bank. I have sent a email because i can not get them on the number that is on line, and still have not heard anything i am from the UK. i would like to cancel my membership, i also would like the money back that they have taken.

              Donnaplay.com have charged 5 (five!) times USD 53.95 from my VISA card, but I have never ordered a...

              Just checking on line bank statements and noticed three transactions of just under £12 each. The description was donnaplay.com. POS
              I have not used this debit card since April and would never subscribe to on line games or anything like it as this is a business account.
              All I can do for now is hope the Email I just sent to [protected]@donnaplay.com does what I have asked them to do.
              Cancel any future transactions and refund all past and present.

              A couple of months ago I noticed a similar thing on another account from google apps so I logged on to the account and followed the cancel account instructions I thought I'd put the loss down to experience and did not complain.
              They all seem to be at it large companies charging millions of people regular small amounts probably just inside the law somehow and only refunding the ones that will not go away.

                On 18th August 2015 I was foolish enough to sign up to this website. Having given my credit card details for registration purposes only, I was then charged for a FREE 5 day trial.

                I had signed up via you tube as they said they had a film I wanted to see. Having got there I could not find it on their site.
                I am now going to be charged a full months membership unless I pay a fee for cancellation.

                  I was trying to watch an episode of "Bring it" on youtube. I was directed to a video that said that it was removed but if I click on the link below I would be able to access the episode for free. When I was directed to the link I was told I had to register with an email address and I had to enter a credit card number that would not be charged. I was also told I would have free regular membership. I followed the directions and confirmed my email address. Then I was directed to a page with extra paid services at $1 or $2.95. I did not want any premium services because I was not interested in watching movies or downloading games. I clicked the continue button and was redirected to a page that said I had purchased the five day premium membership for $1. I called immediately the number they had provided to cancel and complained that my credit card had been charged. They gave me a cancellation number and said they refunded my money. Then I received an email confirming my cancellation. The email also stated that I could use my premium membership until that day ended. I just wanted to access the regular free membership. I was still trying to view the episode I had originally clicked on. Every time I clicked on TV Shows I got a dialogue box that said "Confirm Premium Membership $9.95" and it would not let me do anything else. I called the number again and asked how to view the TV episode I was trying to see. I was told that they do not have any TV shows from Lifetime and it must have been a misdirected link. See my attachment to verify it was not a mistake. They purposely advertise that I could see the episode by clicking the link. I told the representative that it was specifically stated that I would be able to see the show I wanted, if I clicked on the link. This is definitely a scam. Now I have to cancel my card or carefully look for any unauthorized charges from now on. I want donnaplay.com to be prohibited from baiting people with links to see something and then tricking them into buying something that has nothing to do with the original link. I posted a comment on the link and they have taken it down from the original video clip on youtube.com..

                    Their advertising claiming that you can watch films for free is a complete con as it requires credit card info for validation of id. site says free, but then they charge you a holding fee. I was eventually linked through to this site from YouTube. Needless to to say it's an absolute SCAM. I was eventually able to contact them today to cancel membership. However, I am going to contact my credit card company to ensure that their are no further charges as I do not trust the integrity of this company.

                      It happen to me too. I got charge $2.95 and $1.00
                      I called them right away and they cancelled it and i was given confirmation that it was refunded.I just need to wait for my credit card statement that The money was returned they say after 21 days.
                      Any ways..
                      For all of you guys that made the mistake of signing up for free movies.
                      When you go to the website.
                      Dont click on the free trial or download icon.
                      If you keep on scrolling down. You will see a little screen of the movie that you wanted to watch.
                      It is just tricky at first coz we are all excited for the movie . But actually it was just there if we just keep on scrolling down.

                        This web site ´Donnaplay.com´ withdrawed money from my visa account without my permission! They charged me for free trial $ 84.90 CAN . The problem is that i dont have account with them and even i didnt registered in their web site!!! I dont know how they get access to my visa info!!! I give them a call to verify from that, they just simply said that will refund me without any more explanation how they get access to my visa info!!! Scammed website
