Dollar General

I was in Dollar General Store South Main Street Wilkes-Barre PA July 16th 10 a.m. I got two things and went to the counter I waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the register I hollered I Whistle twice nobody finally the lady came to the register and she said what an attitude don't whistle like that I said well then you should have a bell she said we should but Dollar General don't by Bells I said well I don't have time to stand here and wait I'm a contractor and everyday I buy my crew of 15 sodas chips candy cookies I spend a lot of money there every month I'm not going back anymore they lost my business she was very very loud and harassed me she said I'm the only one in the store I have no help well I said then you should be monitoring the register she gave me nothing but a hard time and back talk me I will never go to Dollar General again. This lady was on at 10 a.m. and she wears glasses July 16th 2019 I told her to review the cameras on how long I was there some one should to see the hard time she gave me. Again Dollar General lost my business and all the money that I spend in that store and I will tell my friends to

I have been in this Dollar General many times and every single time the service is worse.
1. Every employee was sitting outside, not even a single greeting.
2.I was in the store 10 minutes before anyone even came in and of course they went back out.
3. I had to stand and wait at the check out for someone to come in.
4. Kids behind the register and all over the store, kid belong to an employee!
IM NEVER GOING BACK TO DOLLAR GENERAL AGAIN UNLESS THIS ISSUE IS ADDRESSED

i could not exchange a pack of cigarettes from short box of Marlboro to Marlboro 100 Box. we were there around 30 minutes ago and my other half came home with my cigarettes and we went back to exchange them and they would not do that and I will not shop at the dollar general store again I will go to everything is a dollar store now to shop and buy my cigarettes at the smoke shop. Your Manager at that store #10403 is very unprofessional with customer service, She has an attitude all the time and I do know how Managers should be Because I was a Manager for 3 Stores or Pizza Huts In Nashville, Tn. Customers Always come first & Professional Managers always Greets there Customers With a Good Attitude and not act like Customers are a bother. You Have Employees there that are Professional like Lyle at the store in Wells, Mn. 56097 Store # 10403 he always is polite and will help the customers when they need help. I am a paying customer that spends 100's of dollars a month at the dollar General in Hatfield ( Richland) indiana and the people working there do not believe in keeping the store clean, they will have a conversation with other workers wile customers are waiting to get checked out, and if any thing is said they will be VERY RUDE and tell you that the problem is not their fault, they are the best dg stores have ever had. In my opinion the crack heads that worked their before showed a he'll of a lot more work ethic than the fat slobs that won't do anything . As far as I'm concerned dg will never see Anouther penny of mine, at least not the one in Hatfield Indiana.

I went to the store on Oxford school road at the intersection of hwy 70 right outside the town of Catawba, NC...I was with the elderly lady that I work for as her caretaker. I went to where the manager was asked for padlocks...I picked up a 2 pack and went back across the store to my employer, I guess I laid the locks down when I felt the soft pillows and didn't think anything else about it. The manager then waddled up and asked if I changed my mind about the locks and I said yes, but, I was in a car accident that gave me a brain injury and my recent memory doesn't exist. I told her I didn't remember where I layed them down at and she screamed out that she would check the cameras and see where the locks were. I offered for her to check my purse and she gave me a dirty look and waddled into the back of the store. The manager then screamed from the back of the store to the cashier to let her know when the police officer got there. I also witnessed her having a young teenage girl and a small child helping her put out merchandise and the baby running around unsupervised drawing on the tile floor with a sharpey marker, a young child isn't supposed to be working in the store without being old enough to be employed there and her and the baby running around in and out of the store back room. I don't appreciate her accusing me of stealing and screaming out in front of numerous customers. I am a very Christian woman and was with my employer and was very embarrassed by this. The manner she treated me was very uncalled for and I DONT STEAL...EVER, EVER. I want you to know that I was the store manager at Family Dollar and I have encountered many shoplifting insidents but this most definitely was not one of them. I will never step foot into that dollar general as long as this manager works there, she was very rude and judgmental and I would have lost my job for treating a customer this way without justification. I know that I didn't do anything wrong but she screamed at me and about me in front of my friends and neighbors in my small community...I was appalled! I have considered calling my attorney to get advice about bringing a law suite against her AND the store if need be, for being wrongly accused in front of my peers, and my employer.

I went to the store at 1192 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY & was told they had no p!attic bags to carry out products of any size. Subsequently others costumers were also informed of the issue. Some wa!ked out I asked them why they haven't order bags they stated that they informed the manager Brandy William who is the only person allowed to order anything & apparently she hasn't done so in quite a few days. We shouldn't have to buy bags to carry out products. Most costumers are walking out & complain.

Today (July 3rd) I bought 2 pks. Of clover valley hamburger buns, my son pointed at my burger and I looked, there was a blue bristle that had been cooked into the bottom of my bun. I have pics. Of the bag in case you need to do a recall and pics. Of it in my bun and on my plate. I'm glad my son seen it or it might have scratched my throat if I didn't feel it, I had bacon on my burger so I might would have thought it was bacon. I tried this one time and it wouldn't let me do through my fb account so u hope it goes through.

I have always had problems with the Manager and her constant rudeness to me. I have know idea why she is so mean but I try to avoid her which I told her today. I have tried to be overly nice thinking maybe she as had a bad day, I go to different Dollar Generals to avoid her but the one inLake George is close to me. I am 67 years old I spend lots of money at Dollar General. You can look it up on line. I am the customer I do not cause any problems she needs to stop harrassing me with her words and actions. She is mean. Today she slammed my dog food on the counter and I asked her why and she said I am sorry you hink I slammed your dog food I did not even say the word slammed he did I said "Wat was that for?" She said what that I "slammed" the dog food down. I have brought family and friends in and when we leave their comment is "What's her problem?".. On 7/1 at DG site on Levick street. In Philadelphia. The 2 employees working at around 6:40 PM were extremely rude. The female would not disclose her name. But the male was Cordell. I specifically kept a low. And professional tone to converse with the employees, . My original issue were the coupons and. Then it became the miscommunication, fast and runon speech talking at me, the customer and then. The not listening. I was actually looking for assistance instead of ignorance. I left my items and exited the store. Please hire employees that actually want to make a great influence on the dollar General chain. They didn't. They should also be able to have good manners and able to engage in a conversation without speaking street talk. I think I will not return to that location again.

This is second attempt contacting corporate office to request repair on the parking lot in Avilla, Indiana 46710 location. I explained the lot is peppered with large and deep holes in the pavement that are dangerous and may cause injury to persons or damage to vehicles. Many elderly shop this location and could be badly injured if they trip or fall. This also presents problems pushing a cart to your vehicle. I heard nothing back from first attempt except for an automated response. It's sad if DG can't be loyal back to their customers by providing a safe environment. Please see attached photos of part of the problem, there are many more. Please route this information to the proper channels for attention. I'm sure this repair is within the multi-million/billion dollar DG budget.

I just visited my store at the end of my street and this employee named Andrea was completely disgusting. She smelt and stinks like cigarettes and was smoking at the front door when I came in. Then when I was checking out, she was the one at the register. I brought up the smoke a the front door when I walked in and how it bothered me. She just laughed and said "oh it's just a cigarette get used to it. People are so stupid about it these days." I was horrified and felt like she had just called me stupid in front of two other customers. Even though they agreed about the stink and her poor attitude. I ha e shopped at this store since it opened and I will not shop here any longer until she is gone. I've never seen here here before and she is a terrible reflection of Dollar General. Having someone so trashy and inconsiderate to paying customers...just terrible ?
