Dollar General review: unfair treatment of employees ( 5 comments)

You got fired for complaining. Whats not to believe.

I am a 3rd key holder at a Dollar General, I have been there for 7 months. I like my job but you can never do enough or work fast enough for the manager there. I think I would have called corporate if I were fired just for complaining, I don't think they can legally do that.

I worked at dollar general for six years and got taken off payroll for no reason. Know I recieve unemployment. so I feel for you too.

dollar general abuses employees.i worked for them for 3 1/2 yrs.i started out as a cashier, then went to 3rd key.i decided to step down due to stress from what was going on in this store.money is never right, they push and push .nothing i was doing was enough for this company.i have a daughter who started to hate dollar general due to i was never home.when i asked to turn keys over and go back to cashier i was told give me few weeks by the manager, guess what i was terminated first.they did not pay me 80 vaction pay that i worked so hard for .unemployment i had to wait 10 weeks due to fact i was terminated.registers were not working properly when i showed a shortage, which i asked if i was terminated for stealing oh no we know you didnt, but yet they have a cashier there now who was 70.00 short and still has her job...

all of you should start class action suit against dg, they have to be the worst employee friendly company out there
