Dollar General review: broken check machine

In the last 2 weeks I have gone to the Dollar General to purchase items and get to the register to pay and they tell you that the check machine is broken would it not be nice for the store to post a notice on the front door that the check machine is down but no I get to the register the first time they ring me up and I go to pay and at that time is when I find out that I can't pay with a check the 2nd time I am told they can't take checks after I have done my shopping so I just don't think I will be going back done with the Dollar Store.
