We subscribed to Dish Network in February 2026. That was the only service we subscribed to. The product and equipment is so cumbersome we still to this day cannot figure things out. The "Hopper" kept telling us that our other one was full and we could only watch live TV. That is unacceptable. I looked to see what was causing this and found that there were over 1500 shows on the device, none of which we shows that we would watch. When I called Dish I asked if someone else had this equipment and she said all their equipment is refurbished. I asked her what we could do about this and she said to buy another hopper. That would have made 4 because we were forced to purchase a 3rd to accommodate overflow. I asked the price and she said $350. We have always paid our bill. Recently they sent us a bill for 2 times the amount and due immediately, but it was not our billing date. The next day they disconnected us, our own aps, my mlb pkg, etc. Dish also damaged our solar panel and roof. We have made a demand for payment. We have been shut off for 3 weeks.
Claimed loss: $50,000 including damages to the roof and solar panel, loss of services, loss of our own personal streaming apps, their failure to communicate with us, false statements regarding equipment.
Desired outcome: Damage to our property must be repaired but they cannot come unless they have an appointment. Loss of services - recovery. Damage to our credit report, plus a monetary settlement.
