On 7/1/22 I went to the Mechanicsville VA. store and ordered 2 Firestone Destination LE2 tires for the front of my 2016 Rouge. I told the man to take the right front tire off and put it on the left rear, I went over this twice, I paid in full and told him I would come in 7/5/22 to have them put on. 7/5/22 I made an appointment for 12 PM. I told the person at least twice to take the right front tire and put it on the left rear and put the new tires on the front. After they put the car in the shop a man came to me and tried to sell me 4 tires, I told him the same story twice. The last thing I told was "just put the new tires on the front. When I got ready to leave I noticed the new tires was on the rear. I told her they were to put the new tires she said "they thought it would be best on the rear" she also said " they could change them" I said "I don't have time" I'll buy 2 more tires for the front BUT IT WON'T BE FROM DISCOUNT. On top of that I see that I was charged $42.00 for Life of tire maintenance that was not discused nor did I authorize it.

I came in as a walk in at 11 am, was told the car would be ready by 1:30p. Car did not get the work completed till 2:15p. I had to arrange transportation for my 6 year old daughter to be picked up, and wasted several hours of my day. I would never have come in if I knew they were so backed up. There were no updates, until I approached 2.5 hours in. I understand getting busy/falling behind, but helping to manage expectations would've allowed me to coordinate another time to come in for a simple, flat tire.

I changed all my 4 tires on Saturday on the below mentioned show and added a protection policy too which costs me 1026$, when I picked my car my inflation light was blinking when i queried they said it should go off.

Later next day i received continuous beep on TPMS and requested me to check with the dealer, I took the car on Monday morning 8am on Duluth Discount tire and they said they cant fix it and asked me to take it the Toyota Dealer

Today I did what  my dealer said. The TPMS sensor was broken and they changed it and I wasn't informed and it cost me around 350$, which was a mistake done by Discount Tire. Whom should I reach out to get the refund for these charges?

My wife took her 2020 Kia Soul with 29,000 miles in today, to have the tires rotated and balanced. This was a package that she paid for when she bought her car new, to help get longevity out of her tires.

The service technician and the manager both pushed her diligently, telling her that she needed new tires.

We've been Discount Tire customers for 15-20 yrs, and if this happens again, we will NEVER go back to Discount Tire...AND we will share our story to anyone that wants to listen.

05/19/22 at around 10:15 to 10:30am I had me wheels balanced by discount tire at the singing hills, spring branch Texas.

There were no visible marks on the wheels but after they finished there were. The workers denied that they did the damage so the manager claimed it was a old scratched. One could see that the impact slipped off the wheel nut.

I have purchased tires and wheels from dt in the past but not so sure about the future.

5/18/2022 at 1:57pm. I didn't have an appointment but, all I needed done was repair two flat tires. When I arrived, there were only three cars in the garage so there were three bays empty. The service person at the counter said it was going to take at least two hours. I looked in the garage and shook my head, but I said OK. Two cars were pulled out of the garage, so they had 5 bays open with these guys standing around chit chatting amongst themselves and laughing but, when some more cars showed up, they put those cars in the garage and got to work on them. This happened about three times where a wave of cars would come, and they would work on those cars first. I then talked to one of the managers and told them this story he said that they were taking a break. All of them together taking a break, I'm sorry but that was just an excuse. I later learned that I wasn't the only one being treated this way. There was someone else who was even there before me that was being treated the very same. And they didn't come get his vehicle until mine was finished. I understand that other people have appointments, but I was never treated this way at American Tire. They would always shuffle your vehicle in no matter what. Oh, I noticed something else while I was there too, everyone who pulled up to just get air had to come into the building to get someone to help accompany them for that. Every time I would put up to American Tire, I never had to leave my vehicle to get anybody to put air in my tires. And that's another thing they never regulated my tire pressure before I left. I went to discount tire in Shawnee, OK this morning early. There were 2 cars in the bay and i was next in line. Person asks me how he could help. I said i would like to get my 6 tires balanced and rotated. He asks if i bought the tires there and i said the two new ones on front. I asked if i had to have an appointment. He said what kind of vehicle and i said one ton Ram. Then he said i had to have an appointment. I saw that the bays were being emptied as we spoke. I never had to have an appointment before. I bet if I said I wanted to buy 6 new tires, he would have said "you will be next". I will be needing 4 new tires in about 6 months, but you can bet your milk cow i won't be going back to discount tire EVER!

Went to local discount tire for rotation and balance Tires was installed at 283,537 current mileage at balance and rotation was 318,768. Sales rep indicate that tires has excessive wear. At this point a 60,000 miles tire is actually a 30,000 miles tire.Actual miles on tire at above date was 35,231. Front suspension rebuilt act 260,000 miles. Have life time alignment from Firestone master care.

My car was dented during its approximate one hour stay with Discount Tire on April 28, 2022 between about 2:15 PM and 3:30PM. I spoke with assistant manager Carlos Martinez, Jr. who said he has taken my claim and I will be contacted by your adjuster in 48 hours. I asked for something in writing affirming I have made this claim. I was told it is in the computer. I then called the management on Friday and Carlos said her would have a manager call me. A manager did call me and said he would send me confirmation by email that I have made a claim that day. I never received the email. He was provided email address [protected]@HFLenterprise.com. It is now Monday May 2, 2022 and I have not heard from an adjuster nor received written confirmation my claim is in process. I took photos. I would like to provide them.

My name is Jesse Simon, On April 12th I bought four tires at your store in Port Arthur, Texas, I have a brand new Chevy Silverado, I didn't like the tires that came on it, so I decided to get something else. After they were done installing them I noticed some bad scratches and gashes in the aluminum wheels on my truck, to repaint them(they come match painted to the truck) it's about 1000 dollars or more, new wheels are 500 dollars each. So, I went to purchase 2 tires from this Discount Tire and when I came in the room I walked into a all male situation and for the most part white but I felt the sexism, and racism at the door. I was hoping I would be treated fairly but that was a dream. They quoted me a price 2 times the market value and I left and other woman next to me too. I will do business elsewhere. Thanks to the other post I thought I was crazy!

I ordered tires from discount tires at 414 N. Hampton Rd, Dallas, Tx. Before my tires arrived to the store. I took my wheels to get powered coated. The powered coat shop found a couple of cracks in two of my wheels. So I called discount tires to let them know I was getting my wheels repaired and I needed to reschedule my install. My wheels was repaired and powered coated. I called discount tires on 03/04/2022 around 10am to let them know that I was ready for install. They made me an appointment for that same day at 3pm.When I arrived, I informed the manager to let the guys that was installing my tires know to be careful with my wheels because I just got them powered coated. I didn't see or hear him tell them. So I politely walked outside by the garage doors and asked them to please be careful with my wheels because I just got them powered coated. It was a pretty day so I watched while they were installing my tires. I see one of the guys put my tire and wheel on this machine he was having a hard time getting the tire on my wheel. Then I see him with a tool in his hand. Putting it between my tire and wheel. And I'm saying to myself. I hope he doesn't scratch my wheels, and I'm thinking it shouldn't be that hard to get that tire on my wheel. I walk on the side by the entrance door for a few minutes. Then I hear this loud pop. So I hurry to see what was going on. And he was just looking around like he dropped something. So I say to myself I hope they didn't hit my car with a flying object. I step to the side and look at my car and I didn't see any dents. So I blew it off and went to the other side of the parking lot where my husband was. One of the guys came over to us and told me one of my wheel bolts was broken off inside and he couldn't put a wheel bolt in it. And he asked me who did my tires before. I told him and he said they broke it off. Another guy came to tell me that it would be 15 minutes and my car will be ready. My car was ready so I went into pay I believe it was the manager that completed my transaction. We went over the price and what they done the price was higher than what was calculated. So I questioned it. He had added warranty to my transaction without asking if I wanted. I already have warranty on my tires. After I got that corrected I paid him. I begin to walk off that's when he said in a low voice if your car is shaking. Then I interrupted him and said what did you say. Because he was talking so low and that's not how he was communicating with me prior. Then he said if you feel shaking while you're driving it's because your wheels are bent. I said my wheels are not bent. Then he said that's what the guy ( I don't remember what he said his name was) said. The same one that I saw having trouble putting my tires on my wheels with an object in his hand putting the object between my wheel and tire trying to force it on. So he took me outside to talk to the guy and he said yes your wheels are bent. I said it wasn't bent when I brought them to discount tires. They knew I got my wheels powdered coated. So he tried to say they didn't fix them they powered coated over the bent tires. I am 51 years old I check everything. The guys at the powered coat company sands everything down. That's when they saw the cracks in two of my wheels. They wouldn't powered coat my wheels before they informed me of what they. They took pictures and called me. I picked up my wheels and I looked at my wheels throughly. No dents just the cracks I seen on the picture. And don't you think I would have got dents repaired too if I had dents in my wheels? By the way that was the first thing that the repair shop asked me did I have any dents in my wheels or was it just cracks only. Before they even excepted the job. I told him it was just cracks no dents. Then I took the two wheels to get the cracks repaired. I picked up the two wheels on 03/02/2022 from the shop that repaired the cracks. I looked them over the cracks was repaired good and there was no dents in my wheels. After I picked them up from the repair shop. I took it right over to the powered coat shop the same day to be powered coated. I picked up my wheels 12:30pm from the powered coat shop on 03/04/2022 I inspected my wheels no dents in them and I even brought boxes for them to put my wheels in so they wouldn't get damaged. I had to make a quick stop. Then I proceeded to discount tires. I made it there two minutes before my appointment which was at 3pm. I watched while my wheels was being unloaded and my wheels did not have any dents or bents in them. I called back up to the store to talk to David the manager he said he didn't get a chance to see my wheels. No because the guy didn't want him to see them. I'm sure he scratched my wheels inside and he probably knew if David seen them he would have known that he damaged them. And the only resolution David offered me was to come back to the store and they will show me how they put the tires on the wheels. I don't want to do that and risk them damaging my wheels any further. My wheels are very expensive. And I'm not sure if they put the right wheels on the right tires. I have staggered wheels. My front wheels and tires are smaller than my rear wheels and tires. My wheels on the rear are a little wider than the front wheels you have to really look to tell. Or are knowledgeable about which tires and wheels go on what vehicle. I called David back to ask if his guys know this about my particular car. And he assured that they did. I hope so.

I purchased a life of tire maintenance contract on tires On my 2014 Ram 3500 dually but every time I go to have them rotated they charge me $120 dollars I have factory rims on my truck and per Ram specs the proper way to rotate is to break down the tires and rotate in the “triangle” due to the inside rims on the rear being made of steel and the other 4 are aluminum If the company was not going to properly rotate these tires per Ram spec why was I not informed at time of purchase

Wow where do I start from the beginning to end worst experience ever. I walk in for a new tire that cost me 246.88 and your staff says to me we will take care of you. Well, I get a text stating that I also need a new rim, I asked the gentlemen will it be the same rim he said yes. So, I arrive to the store again and pay another 234.00. mind you I stay there till the store closed. When they tell me OK your car is ready, I walk out and it's a totally different rim. I would have never paid if it was different. It does not even go with my vehicle. I was super embarrassed. I was also driving home to Austin Tx, and the tire was super low and dangerous. Real inconvenience I had to stop and find somewhere to put air in my tire in the cold. Super disappointed in the staff and the company. Customer satisfaction should be their number one goal and it was not delivered yesterday. If I am paying that kind of money, I expect 100% results and I did not receive super unpleased. Well thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my experience.

Rec'd email ref. free tire service (12 dec)...sched'd appt for 5 Jan 1230 @12410 Meridian, Puyallup. Arrv'd on time. chk'd in & waited in vehicle until bay was ready... turned over keys & headed inside to wait...only to be summoned back to the vehicle & told service could NOT be performed. The rear tires were too old to be serviced...10 yrs? Could not access online acct.? Created a new acct...no info on purchase history?
Couple years ago, picked up a nail & went to Discount Tire for repair. Not repairable. Recommendation was to replace 2 tires not just one! Nothing mentioned on age of tires...would have replaced all 4.
You must have history of purchases...
also purchased 4 new tires for 2015 Jeep ...no record...and never receive emails ref Jeep free tire rotation/balancing?
Discount Tire service @Puyallup store has been excellent & plan to continue as store of choice!

My son applied at Discount Tires he was hired uniform was giving upon his first start date he was phoned he doesn't fit the criteria of Discount Tires My son is black, I don't purchase tires from Discount Tires I have shared what happen to my son, they not diverse or have minorities.
