I had order food from the Dennys on Hopyard in Pleasanton ca yesterday 8/23. The order was terrible. I was missing items I paid for, the sausages were not fully cooked and completely pink inside! The eggs were hard boiled. I was given 2 small pouches of syrup for 3 pancake meals. The list goes on and on. We called the store 6 times after receiving and no one answered!

My husband had to go the store to resolve the issue this morning 8/24. He was going to take the comp against better judgement. We went in this evening 8/24 there was one single server in the restaurant. No manager at all on duty and could not be reached by phone to give our refund. So we sat down. We sat there for 20 minutes before the waitress came to the table. She was arrogant and nasty. Treated us like genuine [censored]. I wanted to leave and walked outside. My husband had her try the manager again for the refund. Still no response. We are moving out of state in the morning so husband said to just take the comp and go back in. The waitress was incredibly disrespectful and said “oh you want to dine in now” with clear disdain. Again we sat down and it was another 20 min before she came to our table. She took the drink and food order at that time. At this point we have yet to receive ANY drinks. We ordered waters and an apple juice for my son. It was another 15 min before she brought our drinks! There were only 3 other tables in the restaurant all equally neglected. We weren’t the only table without drinks and they had been there nearly as long. I had to ask for our waters. She Ignored me and refused to do her job. My husband HAD TO GO GET OUR DRINKS AND CARRY THEM OVER TO OUR TABLE HIMSELF. Our food came out and there was a slimy nasty smear of concealed gravy on my chicken fried steak. I requested for her to bring the gravy for the steak. She LITERALLY REFUSED. She said that’s how it comes AND I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT. She actually refused to bring gravy! We also had to wait ANOTHER 5 minutes for her to bring silverware AFTER OUR MEALS ARRIVED. The window signs all say KIDS EAT FREE EVERY DAY 4pm - 10pm. We were there 6:45 to 9. SHE REFUSED AND SAID HIS MEAL WASNT FREE. He’s 2. He had silver dollar pancakes an ACTUAL teaspoon size portion of eggs and Hashbrowns. This waitress needs to be fired immediately. I spent my college years waiting tables and this is so disgusting. Absolutely foul. I demand a full refund for this horrific experience.

Desired outcome: Wait staff and manager who failed to report need to be terminated. Refund issued immediately.
