Days Innhotel

On September 6 2019 my husband and I were guests at The Days Inn on 11022 Northwest Freeway in Houston TX. I booked a room for smokers. When we opened the room door the smell
Was overwhelming, it was almost unbeatable. We went to the reception and the lady change our room and ask us a deposit o 100 usd. When I went back to the room
I was unable to order food because the menu and the directory were sticky and super dirty. We decided to eat out and when we came back we went right to sleep. In the middle of the night we woke up and realize that the room was filthy, two big yellow stains on the bed cover, chips, gums and toenails on the floor. I was disgusted. In the morning I was ready to go get breakfast and there was no food. I complained, the lady on the front desk, Diana, told me to e mail the picture and my complains and that she would talk with her manager. I email them twice and waited for about a week before I decided to call. The hotel manager did not know what I was talking about, he told me that he did not know what was going on and that he was going to e mail me back . Two weeks later I still did not hear anything back. I am aware that I was suppose to check the room when I arrived, but I was exhausted. I traveled the word and stayed also in 1 star hotel and still never experienced such a poor costumer service and igiene problems. I found ridicules that I had to reach out to the hotel 3 times and still didn't hear an apologize for the poor service. I am a travel agent, I am used to book La Quinta e Days Inn for my clients. For sure I won't book this hotel ever again. Highly discourage anyone to book this hotel .
