Room had live cockroaches, cracks in the crown molding, mold, and excess dust in the room and in the air conditioner. There was a moldy odor and the floors were dirty. The bedding was unsanitary. The outlets did not work and the humidifier in the room was also not functioning. Surprisingly, the cord of the humidifier was concealed behind a hole in the wall, where the plug was going outside of the hotel wall. I have photos and videos to provide as evidence.

These are pictures of the room that me and my family got when we stayed at your hotel. There was mold around the tub and the bathroom was really dirty. The towels we finally got were like rags with stains on them. There were no toiletries in the room and it was obvious that the room hadn't been cleaned. My wife had to clean it herself. Because of all this, I think we should get a full refund for our stay. The cost of the stay was $204.19 and we stayed from June 21st, 2022 to June 25th, 2022. I tried many times to contact the hotel through email and phone, but I never got a response from the general manager or manager. I think that's really unprofessional and I just want a solution. I want my full refund back on my debit card.

I booked a hotel room at Monumental Movieland Hotel through*** for July 15, 2022 to July 17, 2022. I arrived at around 8:30 PM on July 15th and checked into my room. But guess what? Within just 5 minutes, I noticed that the room was crawling with roaches. And that's not all, when I took a closer look, I found spider webs with live spiders and their eggs. Yikes!

I immediately rushed to the front desk and informed them about the creepy-crawly situation. They were kind enough to give me back my room deposit, but they told me that I needed to contact*** for a refund. So, without wasting any time, I reached out to***. But here's the catch, they can't process the refund without approval from the hotel. They've been trying to get in touch with the hotel multiple times, but all they keep hearing is that an email needs to be sent to the manager for approval. We've flooded the hotel with tons of emails, but it seems like the manager is playing hide-and-seek with*** and me.

I went to Florida and stayed at Monumental Movieland Hotel. The hotel didn't look like the pictures online. When I checked in, there was a strong smell of mildew. Room 149 smelled even worse. I found black mold in the bathroom, under the sink, and they just painted over it. The mold was also in the closet and on the ceiling. The air conditioner didn't work, and only the maintenance man knew how to turn it off. I told the front desk and asked for a different room. They said they had no more rooms, but when I threatened to call the health department, they magically found one on the 2nd floor. That room was dirty, with trash under the beds and dresser. I want my money back.

Rude customer service and got a room that was flooded and then one with no power and they wouldn't give us a different room. On July 31, we checked into this hotel. They charged my card $165 for the 2 nights stay and a $100 deposit. They said they would give the deposit back when we checked out. The first room they gave us was all wet because of a flood. The second room had no power. When we asked to change rooms again, the people at the front desk yelled at my daughter's boyfriend and said they wouldn't talk to him. We gave back our keys and left. The manager, Ricardo, said he would refund everything they charged. Today I saw that they refunded the $165 but not the $100 deposit. I called Ricardo and talked to him about it. He refused to give it back because he said my daughter's boyfriend was rude. I asked for his boss and he said I could find that info on the website, but there's no website. When I told him that the $100 was a deposit for damages and he couldn't charge me for a room that was already broken, he said he didn't want to talk to me anymore and hung up. I called my credit card company to dispute it.

I booked the Monumental Movieland Hotel through hotels.com. I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. They charged me a total of $946.17. When I checked in, they told me there's a $100 deposit for each room, even though the agreement clearly says it's $100 per stay. I contacted hotels.com and they confirmed that the proper deposit is $100 per stay, not per room. So, I decided to cancel the reservation since it's free to cancel. I had already given them $200 in cash for the deposit for 2 of the rooms when I realized something was off. I spent another half hour arguing with the hotel and hotels.com to get my refund. Finally, the hotel said I have to wait until the morning when the manager is there to get a refund. But they also said they won't be there or initiate the refund themselves, I have to do it all on my own. I went back the next morning only to find out there's no manager on site and they told me the manager isn't coming in. The front desk supervisor said she could refund 2 nights for each room, but not the 1st night because it's Expedia's (Hotels.com) policy. I contacted Hotels.com to dispute this. They told me it's not their policy and called the hotel while I was on hold at the hotel counter. After speaking with the hotel supervisor, they said it's Monumental Movieland Hotel's policy to not refund the 1st night, and the representative tried to reason with them but it didn't work. Then the supervisor told me to try calling and speaking to the manager on Monday to get the rest of my money refunded. I booked the hotel in October and my stay was supposed to be from 11/26 to 11/29.
