Days Inn review: Room not cleaned properly

Our stay 12/09/20 - 12/12/20 at Days Inn, Port Angeles, WA 98362. The night of 12/10/20, my granddaughter complained that something was poking her in our bed. When we tore the bed apart we found sticks and pills between the mattress and mattress pad. I called the office immediately, no response. I put all items in a bag and after we re-made the bed, which included turning the mattress over, I took the items to the office which was closed. The next morning I submitted these items to the office and reported that our room had not properly been cleaned upon checkin. That our room was not cleaned on any of the 3 nights that we were there, except upon request our room was vacuumed. A homeless person was going through the garbage outside our room. I called and reported this immediately. However, this garbage can had not been emptied prior to this incident. It seemed that it was passed by during normal hours of cleaning.
