This is a student whose course fee was paid in full. Since January we have had issues receiving exam results for November 16 exams. First after being cut off twice whilst calling a call centre who is clearly incompetent of assisting not only its own students but professionals as well were I told exam fees were outstanding only for the call centre agent to after 38 minutes on the call to realise that Damelin double invoiced was the so called probelm resolved and the exam results would have veen released within 48 hours... Needless to say there was NO EXAM RESULTS received TO DATE! I have tried everything from emailing the so called experienced Marielys on email who assisted signing up the student to calling demanding to speak to management, again, with no success! Either no answer or the call ia dropped. I dont know what further to do. We need assistance immediately or a full refund! Please make contact [protected]@yourside.co.za or [protected]

I am currently a student at Damelin. I Wrote an exam July 2016, I wrote 3 subjects. Then got results for 2 subjects in September. And enquired about the 3rd subject, didn't get any response until today. November I Wrote my last 2 subjects even today I am still waiting for results. I called Damelin countless times. Wrote several emails asking to be assisted even today I never received any help. I regret the day I registered with Damelin the worst institution ever. I can't even further my studies coz I do not have results

I have complained about this company a million times now wont even start my story..now i am not reaching anybody apparently they experience technical problems anyway even this site is a waste of students time because nobody at that place responds to anything. so now i am even struggling to get a person that can handle the case as i have opened a case of fraud against them and need some-one in management to take responsibility and none is available.

pathetic zero correspondence
Paid in full last year August. Signed up for dipl 3 yr course but till date no support or feedback at all from damelin, no student advisers nothing! Was told exams reg opens in April and they will notify us but zero contact! Called on 3rd April to query but was then told reg closed in February for this dipl! Keep calling student services but they send you from pillar to post with zero help! Damelin should fully refund my cash fees as this is pathetic!
registration centre
I have register with Damelin to do Public Management course, after payment arrangement they told me to register for exams at nearby FET college. I am staying in Central Karoo and I have contacted all nearby FET to register for exams but they refuse and notify me that they don't do it anymore. I have sent massive emails to student support to help me with nearby centres but all number they gave to me couldn't assist me. Damelin student advisor didnt know what to do. Monthly fees are deducted on my account every month but I don't get any help. What must I do?
no exam results

I have submitted my assignments in one envelop on the 23rd september, one subject was marked but did not receive the other 2 subjects. I am told I am not going to receive my results because I have not submitted assignments yet I did. I have called the customer care several times and was promised will receive them before 48 hours, I have not receive anything so far.

very poor service, no exam results
Since I have started with dcc last year june, I have had endless problems, from them getting my exam payments wrong, to them not releasing my exam and assignment results. One day I get hold that they can see I have submitted my assignments in oct 2016 (Before even sitting my exam) and then the next day they can't find anything. Everyday I am getting the same story... " you will get your results"... And I am still waiting. I have sent a number of emails, even to the complaints department and no-one has bothered to sort out my issues! I would rather just get my money back then carry on like this for the rest of the year. Oh and the supervisors are always in a meeting!
But I see I am one of many people having problems, so this will not get sorted out and I will just be another number in the long line of complaints. If I ask for a refund it never happen, I write my exams and submit assignments and don't get results back, so its a no win no matter what.

I've submitted my assignments 28 July 2016. Then called and spoke to a student adviser or 2 or 3 and forwarded my assignment submissions on 12 Sept 2016.
When I applied for the Oct/Nov2016 Exam I didn't receive a Exam confirmation so I called again. I was told that my assignments is not on my student profile, which means that it wasn't received and/or marked. Therefore I couldn't write the exam.
Then re-submitted my assignments again on 2 Dec 2016. This was the response email:

My course is paid up, but the debit-orders still went off from my sponsor's account. After several calls and emails I received communication that my inquiry was escalated on 13 Sept 2016. To date, no response and no refund.

My husband was a student with Damelin and graduated in 2013. His diploma then got stolen when his car was broken into and we had to request a reissue of the diploma. After being sent from pillar to post back then in September 2015 and complaining, Russell S. Sanyangore eventually made contact via email and listed the number of things we had to send him in order to process the reissue. Amongst those was proof of payment of R100. All that was done and all documents requested including proof of payment of the R100 were sent to Russell on the 31st of July 2015.in November 2015 my husband received a statement saying that he owed R100, the same R100 we paid and sent proff of payment for in July. He raised the query and sent through the proof of payment again.in August we applied for a Home Loan and we were declined because Damelin listed on ITC that he was in arrears for 6 months for the R100. We then contacted them and sent them the proof of payment. An email was sent to their complaints email address and Mapule Monkhe responded on the 22nd of September and said they would investigate and resolve, nothing was done and no feedback was received. An email was again sent to Vuyani Kona on the 25th of October and he also promised that it would get sorted. Today, we receive an sms that it has now been listed as a default on his ITC profile. I have been on the phone for the past 3 hours today (13/12/2016) and I am being sent from pillar to post to try and get this matter resolved and no one just seems to care. No one is getting back to us and it is really frustrating because this thing is affecting our lives.

assignment copies
I've paid for my course in full together with exam fees as well as past exam papers. However, since I started I've had regrets with studying through Damelin. I phone for weeks and months on end with no resolutions to queries. Not getting any results on assignment copies even though I wrote exams on the subjects. How do you prepare for exams if you don't get your assignment copies back to see where you went wrong. Pathetic institution. Can't wait to, finish this course. Every time you phone you just get empty promises on your query. How pathetic. I complained its being escalated, however still no resolution. Pathetic, Pathetic, Pathetic!
no result released for assignments
This is the second time and still I am struggling to get my results for my assignments, they say 30 working days, and every time it is long over that time and still nothing is released. I keep phoning and they keep sending requests to the exam department in Cape town, and nothing is happening. Dates are promised for everything and never on time. If I did not phone and ask for the exam table for June I would have missed the entry date for June, and then what? They say clearly no late registrations but what if they don't sent it in time. The lady already helped me and sent it through. Please can you get my assignment results. student nr 426290.

I'm very disappointed to be writing this mail as I have not received any response to my query, a month later.
I called in on the 01/03/2016 and spoke to Duval with regards to my query study material. he asked me to send screen shorts of what I can see on the usb and the was no study material on the flashdrive and he could see it. so he advised that he will be requesting for another flash drive to be dispatched.
I have been struggling for over a month to get assistance, I have made calls daily to the call center sometime I get through and at times I hold for for more than 30mins on the line. I have sent a lot of emails to a couple of agents still no response.
Im still without any study guides.

Kindly assist with refunding my money, and if unable to assist kindly refer to the correct people, as I need this resolved urgently, I've been complaining to Damelin three months now, I'm Not getting any feedback, I've asked they cancel everything, and stop the debit orders, But still nothing..
Hope this is my last complain as i'm now fed up with complaining and getting no feedback, I want my money back.

extremely poor service delivery
My daughter, Megan Muller, student no 423247 enrolled for a travel and tourism course February 2015. It took 4 - 5 months for her to get her books. By that time is was too late to do anything for 2015. She has been trying to register on student portal since the beginning of 2016. Nothing works. The call centre is hopeless. You hold on for hours and when it eventually goes through they cancel the call. They take 2.5 weeks to answer an e-mail. We are now at end February and she still has no clue what she must do. An e-mail I sent on 20 Jan is still not replied to. I have requested cancellation and refund now but the e-mails I get send tells me absolutely nothing. If I read all the complaints on Hello Peter is seems that there is a huge problem there. I cannot stop the monthly payments as I am worried that we will get blacklisted. My daughter has wasted a year of her life and about R13000.00 so far.
not receiving study material
I initially started my enrolment process for Senior Certificate Grade 12 at Damelin Correspondence College in January 2016, I paid the entire fee on the 14 of January. I have been dealing with Nelly Msiza. Since then she has continuously made the promise that I would receive my study material within three weeks. It is now the 11th of February. She does not answer my emails, as I keep reminding her of my growing concern, and it seems that no one at the College is able to help me.
I have found many other complaints similar to mine on this page, while visiting www.hellopeter.com and even the Sowetan wrote an article about Damelin's increasingly incredibly bad service delivery. I am seriously concerned and am still awaiting my study material! My student number is: 427011. Nelly has been making constant excuses about why it has not been delivered and has now apparently passed it on to her manager. She keeps deflecting my answers by saying that she has not yet received an answer from her manager. When will I be receiving my study material? And will you personally make sure that it gets to the correct address - as I see that this is often the next thing to happen!
Seriously concerned! And becoming very regretful over having paid the course money into an institution that is showing to have no regard for its students.

I enrolled in September for 2016 Adult Matric, I have received most of my study material, with a big struggle and constant complaining! I have been trying to get the 3 last books since October 2015, All I get back is sorry for the inconvenience, we'll escalate your complaint. I do not feel that Damelin is taking responsibility for their actions and simply do not care because they are receiving their money every Month! What happens if I fail, because Dameline failed to send me my study material? So disappointed

I settled my Damelin account in March 2015. Damelin offered me a 15% discount for early settlement (R59.10 was the discounted amount) After paying the settlement fee I repeatedly requested a paid up letter from Damelin but to no avail. For months and months I tried getting a response but no one was interested in assisting me. I went to the bank ±2 weeks ago only to be told that my name has been listed on ITC as unpaid by Damelin. I repeated tried making contact with Damelin again to ask what this was for but to no avail. I then took it to hellopeter whereby someone eventually made contact. After explaining my situation they informed me that the accounts department would sort it out - only to get a response to say I owe Damelin R59.10 since March 2015. The outstanding amount Damelin is now claiming I owe is the discount of 15% they gave me. Also, in the 9 months they didn't contact me once to inform me - they just went and listed my name on ITC. I have posted on Facebook and posted my 3rd hellopeter complaint today in hopes that someone might assist me for real. I am being passed around and not much is being done at all. A Preshavia Naidoo told me that on friday they would have informed the credit bureau but has since failed to respond to any of my enquiries. Damelin is full of empty promises and aren't doing much to sort their mistakes out. And now I need to suffer the consequences of having a bad name. Will Damelin actual do something or are they just going to pretend I don't exist!? And to how many other innocent people are they doing the exact same!? Listing people on ITC with no valid reason nor even informing them of the said. I am utterly disgusted and so frustrated with their services!
pastel course
I paid them the full amount for the Pastel course on 26 February 2015. It took them over 3 months to send the study material, after their promises to send it within 3 weeks. They gave me the wrong registration code to start the Pastel program, I could not get it from them I had to get it from Pastel. To correspond with them regarding my assignments I have to log in to a Damelin. me account. They keep on sending me pass words that do not work, I requested this to be sorted ~13 or more times, it is still not sorted. They did mail the results for my first assignment, but I sent in the second assignment on 19 August, it is 7 November and it has not been returned. When you phone, you are put on hold for a long time and if you do manage to speak to someone they say that a student adviser is not available. I have not been able to get any help regarding queries on the study material. My student no is 423590 They should send a pass word that works for the Damelin. me account, I need my second assignment marked and sent back and I need to be able to correspond with lecturers regarding the study material.
no refund since april, and poor service
I have requested a refund on the 22nd April 2015; Kim Edison assisted me and told me that she forwarded the query to DCC accounts and confirm that it would take 90 days before I could receive the refund Anastasia Sinclair was copied in the mail. On the 06th July, I then sent Kim Edison an e-mail to follow up on my refund, she then told me that she had been advised that I need to contact the branch on [protected] and ask for the refunds department and they would assist me with the refund because there are forms that I need to fill in. She did not bother telling me this at the beginning of my refund request and I had to re-apply for a refund Again! I then contacted the refunds department and spoke to Palesa Tsotetsi and she sent me the refund forms and asked that I send her a copy of my ID, Refund form and Conformation of banking details, which I did. Palesa Tsotetsi confirmed that she received all the documents on the 21st July 2015 and I got the same line again, "Refund will take 90 days" Its been almost 150 days now I have been trying to get a hold of Palesa Tsotetsi with no luck I have mailed her and she does not respond to my e-mail. When I phone the College I just get transferred from one sales consultant to another. Can I get my refund already this is ridiculous! I refuse to wait any longer. I've been experience bad service from Damelin from day one.

I enrolled my niece for matric, to be completed 2015. We have gone through the year with a few hitches. Nothing too big to overcome. It is two weeks before finals begin and they are incapable of giving us the venue information. This should of been done in the beginning of the year. This should be an easy answer for them. I just want to know what the venue will be for her final exams. That's all.
