Aviation, maintenance, program
This school has several instructors, and still does that have very little hands on experience in the real world of Aviation. they have one instructor working there that harasses people and causes a lot of problems. There’s been a lot of complaints on him and he still there once they get you enrolled in the school they suck you in this program is all about money. This is one of the worst places I’ve ever worked in my life. They do have several good instructors. The guy that oversees the school is one of the worst individuals you might as well call them Hitler because he treats people like slaves. Their equipment is outdated and old and half the equipment doesn’t work.
Desired outcome: The school needs to be shut down. It’s a joke to Aviation the students they’re putting out are terrible.
The program they offer, is mostly based on general aviation. They have very little equipment for commercial airlines and big airplanes. Some of equipment is broke. Their staff consist when I was there of instructors that have very little experience in the real world of aviation. Some instructors harass students.. this school is very expensive. Compared to other schools. I would enroll in another school. Their campus has a lot of issues in their management is very unprofessional in many areas. Their HR department on campus is a joke.
Lied to me about job placement for one
I attended AIM and graduated. The day of graduation I looked in my paperwork for my voucher for my A&P testing. Wasn’t there. I followed up with student aide who had told me I would have one on graduation day. Graduation day, no voucher, and they tell me, you didn’t habe enough money to receive one!
Not only was I sadly disappointed one for the fact they could’ve told me! Two that they lied about it. I worked full time at night. Went to school during the day. I got maybe 4 hours of sleep IF I were lucky! I still maintained a 3.75 but yet that’s not enough.
Once school was done I received no help with job placement as I was told there would be. No voucher to help pay the $2000 in testing to get licensed. No job in the field. And stuck with student loans that I had no idea were so much! The staff that did loans were pretty shady to all of us. I was told the school would cost this much but wound up being nearly twice that?!? How? How do you get something like that wrong? The school was a joke. I taught myself for the most part by reading the material and placing it into practice when I got the chance. I believe that my life was squandered by going to this school. The lack of communication on their part to inform me that I would not receive a voucher kept me from ever being able to go take the test. Had I had the voucher I could’ve tested immediately. I would have passed. Not having it spiraled into life and that became time. Time went from days to months to years. If I had known I would have saved and done it on my own. As I have always said “AIM sugar coats a turd for you but it still tastes the same.” Pretty pictures painted with lies.
Desired outcome: Federal student loans forgiven. Biden said he was going to do but he hasn’t done what he said he would.

I went to AIM back in 2016, and took 1 class which was only half a year, when the students devised a plan to get me forcibly ejected from the institution by falsely accusing me of being a terrorist. Now they expect me to pay for the 4K loan to enter the program, when I wasn't able to complete it. This is highly unfair, I'm not paying for something I never got.
