CruiseDirect Next-Level Customer Service: A Review of CruiseDirect and Hans Vega

Hans Vega was like, totally amazing, you guys. My hubby and I have been scouring cruise sites for weeks, trying to find the perfect vacay for our fam of five. But let me tell you, these sites are not set up for groups like us. Some of them are all like "no kids allowed" but then they don't even ask for ages. And others ask for ages, but they don't have all the options. Like, what gives?

But then we found CruiseDirect and it was like a breath of fresh air. Hans Vega, our hero, proactively explained the whole cruise industry and how room booking works. He was like a cruise guru or something. He quickly searched all the room combos I asked for and even found an alternative cruise with one room for my whole fam. Like, how cool is that?

Overall, it was a GREAT experience. And get this, he even put three options on hold for us so that my hubby and I could take our sweet time deciding which one we wanted. That's some next-level customer service right there. Now we can confidently select our dream holiday and just put down the deposit.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CruiseDirect and their CHAT box is super helpful. Like, seriously, if you're looking for a cruise, you gotta check them out. Thank you, Hans Vega, for making our cruise dreams come true!

CruiseDirect Exceptional Customer Service: My Experience with CruiseDirect

I gotta tell ya, CruiseDirect is the real deal. I've been on a few cruises in my day, but I've never experienced customer service like this before. Let me tell you about my recent experience.

So, I had a cruise booked for May 8th and today is May 4th. I had already done all my paperwork for express boarding on my computer, but when I went to print it out, my computer decided to take a dirt nap. I was freaking out because I couldn't print my boarding passes and I didn't want to have to wait in line at the dock. I decided to give CruiseDirect a call and see if they could help me out.

I spoke to a real live person (not a robot or automated system) and explained my situation. They told me they could fax me a copy of my boarding pass, but then they went above and beyond. They said they would mail it to me instead. I was blown away by their kindness and willingness to help.

But that's not even the best part. Today, someone from CruiseDirect actually came to my house to deliver the boarding passes. And get this, they live about 2 hours away from me! I couldn't believe it. My agent made sure that I got the passes, even though I was unable to print them myself.

I've traveled many times before, but this is the first time something like this has ever happened to me. And let me tell you, it made a huge difference. My mother is in hospice at home, so I couldn't go somewhere else to print the passes. CruiseDirect really came through for me and I am forever grateful.

I will never use another agency other than CruiseDirect. They have won me over with their exceptional customer service and willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you so much, CruiseDirect, for making my cruise experience stress-free and enjoyable. You guys are the best!

CruiseDirect Beware of CruiseDirect's De Luxe Cruises and Steve Porter: A Warning of Fraudulent Activities

I recently had a terrible experience with CruiseDirect, specifically with Steve Porter from De Luxe Cruises. I booked a cruise for my wife and myself with Seabourn through De Luxe Cruises and Steve Porter. He told me that in order to get the best price and the best suite, I had to transfer a large sum of money to an account that only he had access to. I trusted him and did the transfer, but unfortunately, the cruise was cancelled.

Since then, I have been trying to get my money back from Steve Porter and De Luxe Cruises, but they have not responded to any of my inquiries or shown any signs of seriousness. It seems that they have just defrauded me and kept the money. I am now warning everyone to be careful when dealing with Steve Porter and De Luxe Cruises.

I have reported this incident to Seabourn Cruises, but it seems that they are not taking any action and are still letting De Luxe Cruises represent them. I am now looking for anyone who can help me report Steve Porter and De Luxe Cruises. I have all the right papers that reveal his fraudulent activities.

In conclusion, I would advise everyone to be cautious when dealing with CruiseDirect and to avoid Steve Porter and De Luxe Cruises at all costs. They are not trustworthy and have caused me a lot of trouble and financial loss.

CruiseDirect Disappointing Experience with CruiseDirect: Cancellation and Lack of Responsibility

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with CruiseDirect. I was all set to go on a cruise to Cuba with my friend in April 2017. We had until June to pay it off, but when we tried to make a payment, they kept telling us it was already paid in full. We knew that wasn't right because my friend hadn't paid her share yet. We called and called, but they wouldn't budge. They and Norwegian both said we didn't need to make any more payments.

Then, on July 13th, I checked my account and saw that the money for the cruise had been refunded. And to top it off, they didn't even bother to tell us that our cruise had been cancelled! I was so mad. I called them up and demanded to know what was going on. They said there was a glitch in their system that didn't show the payment. But they didn't take any responsibility for it. We ended up having to pay an extra $400 to book with Norwegian directly.

Let me tell you, I will never use CruiseDirect again. They really messed up our plans and didn't even apologize for it. It's just not worth the hassle.

CruiseDirect CruiseDirect.com: A Nightmare Experience of Stolen Information and Ignorant Customer Service

Me and my better half decided to book a cruise through CruiseDirect.com, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. Just a week after we made the booking, we received a notification that our personal information was stolen. We were left in the dark as they refused to give us any details about the extent of the breach. It was a real bummer, you know what I mean?

To make matters worse, they tried to bribe us with money instead of taking responsibility for their mistake. As if that wasn't enough, we started receiving phishing emails and phone calls, and our email, phone number, and credit cards were hacked. It was a complete nightmare! We later found out that our information was being sold on the dark web, and these guys didn't even bother to respond to our concerns. Can you believe it?

Now, not only do we have to worry about our stolen information, but we also have to worry about our safety. The criminals now know when we won't be home, and that's a scary thought. We had to contact security, police, and the Department of State because our passports were also stolen. My wife even has a passport from a foreign country, so we have to fly all the way to Europe to get it replaced. It's a real hassle, you know?

I would never, ever recommend CruiseDirect.com to anyone. These people are ignorant A-Holes who don't care about their customers' safety or well-being. They are despicable and should be ashamed of themselves. We just wanted our money back, but now we have to deal with the aftermath of their incompetence. It's just not worth it, folks. Stay away from these guys!

CruiseDirect Smooth Sailing with CruiseDirect: A Review of Our Amazing Cruise Experience

so book when you are comfortable with the price. CruiseDirect made it easy to find all of this information and their agents were always available to answer any questions we had.

The booking process was smooth and easy. We were able to choose our room and add any additional perks we wanted. The website was user-friendly and easy to navigate. We received all of our confirmation emails and documents promptly.

On the day of the cruise, we arrived at the port and everything was organized and efficient. We were able to board the ship quickly and easily. The cruise itself was amazing and we had a great time. The staff on the ship were friendly and helpful.

Overall, we had a great experience with CruiseDirect. Their agents were helpful and professional, the booking process was easy, and the cruise itself was amazing. We highly recommend CruiseDirect for anyone looking to book a cruise.

CruiseDirect Cruise Direct Review: Dishonest and Unreliable - Don't Waste Your Time!

Cruise Direct? More like Scam Direct! These guys are the worst! They're so dishonest and they don't care about their customers at all!

Their slogan is "100% Guarantee Shop with Confidence!" but that's a total lie. I booked a cruise with them back in August of 2015 and it was a total nightmare. When I was looking for prices, they offered me a deal where I could get a $50 onboard credit per person and 10% off my excursions if I booked with them. But then, when I decided not to book with them, they sent me an email with a surprise discount if I booked with them that day. So, I went ahead and booked with them, thinking I was getting a great deal.

But then, when I got to the payment screen, they took away my onboard credit and only gave me a 5% discount. That means I lost out on $100 in onboard credit! I was so mad! I tried to contact them about it, but they never even responded to my inquiry. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.

I would never recommend Cruise Direct to anyone. They're just a bunch of scam artists pretending to be a bargain cruise site. If you want to book a cruise, just deal directly with the cruise lines. Don't waste your time with these guys.

CruiseDirect Disappointing Experience with CruiseDirect: Poor Customer Service and Refund Policies

So, I had to cancel my Mexican Riviera cruise only 18 days before the departure date. My husband was still going, but CruiseDirect got all worked up about it. They only gave me a refund of $95 for taxes, which seemed way too low. I tried to ask them why, but nobody seemed to want to give me a straight answer. I looked at their "Cancellation Policies" and it said I should get at least 15-25% back. What gives?

I also tried to book a transfer from the airport to the port with CruiseDirect, but they told me it was already booked. Then they said I hadn't given them my credit card number to book it, but they already had it! I showed them the email where I was never asked for my credit card number again, but they still didn't seem to get it.

To make matters worse, there was a price reduction from Princess for the cruise. I was able to get our cruise reduced, but when my sister-in-law tried, CruiseDirect couldn't seem to reduce her cruise. It was the same cruise, same type of stateroom, everything was the same. It was just ridiculous.

And don't even get me started on the "concierge team members." English is clearly not their first language, and it made it really hard to understand them. I'm not racist or anything, but if you're going to work all day on the phone in customer service, you need to be able to communicate clearly with your clients.

CruiseDirect Nightmare Shore Excursion: Cheated, Disappointed, and Sick - A Warning Review

That shore excursion was like a nightmare, man. We all got cheated, big time. It all started with the organizers asking us to sign some document about the sea being "rough" and how they were gonna change the snorkel location. We thought, okay, no biggie, let's just go with the flow. But then they took us to some lame spot just 50 meters from the main beaches where there were no reef and no fishes to see. What a rip-off! All the other boats were out in the sea where the good reefs were, and the sea was not even that rough, you know what I mean? They just didn't wanna bother going out there.

And to make matters worse, they blasted some loud Mexican rap on the boat. We asked them several times to turn it down, but they didn't give a damn. It was like they thought it was great entertainment or something. But most of us on the boat were not feeling it at all. We just wanted to enjoy the snorkeling and the beautiful sea. But no, they had to ruin it with their crappy music.

And then they dumped us in some overcrowded resort with a buffet lunch. The food wasn't bad, I'll give them that. But man, we all got sick afterwards. Our stomachs were messed up for like two days. It was like the hygiene and quality were just not up to par, you know what I'm saying?

All in all, it was a total waste of money and time. We should have just rented a boat on the shore and done our own thing. It probably would have been better and cheaper. I wouldn't recommend this provider to anyone. It's a shame, really.

CruiseDirect Cruisedirect.com Review: Proceed with Caution - A Rollercoaster Ride of Inaccuracies and Frustration

I've been dealing with the folks over at Cruisedirect.com for a couple of months now, and let me tell you, it's been a real rollercoaster ride. I've been chatting with their "human" texting people, and they've been giving me all sorts of different stories and inaccuracies. It's been a real headache, and I'm starting to regret ever using them in the first place.

To be fair, I've used Cruisedirect.com four times in the past, and I've had to reach out to them for help twice. One time, we didn't get what was promised, and they told us they'd make it up to us next time we booked. I guess I should have known better, but I decided to give them another chance.

This time around, we paid in full back in July, and when cruises took a dive in October, we decided to upgrade from an Oceanview to a Balcony. We still had some money left over, and we were told we'd have it as a credit. But now, we're being told we have to pay more money, and that the cruise line (which I won't name here) had refunded us twice. We never got a refund, and when we contacted the cruise line, they told us they don't deal with refunds from third parties. That's something the third party (Cruisedecay.com) has to handle.

So now, Cruisedirect.com wants more money from us, and they still have the overpayment for our cruise. It's all just a big mess, and I'm so frustrated that I don't even want to go on the cruise anymore. This whole experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't think I'll ever use Cruisedirect.com again.

Overall, I'd say that if you're thinking about booking a cruise through Cruisedirect.com, you should proceed with caution. They might seem like a good option at first, but if anything goes wrong, you could be in for a real headache.

So, I was trying to book a cruise for next year with Cruise Direct. I went on their website and saw that they had a problem with their system. The cabins that were available included the Library! I mean, who wants to sleep in a library, right? Anyways, the agent gave me a cabin number but I wasn't sure if it was really available because of the glitch. Then, they sent me an invoice but it was all messed up. They didn't itemize it right and it was just confusing. So, I decided to cancel the reservation. It was just too much of a hassle.

CruiseDirect Disappointing Experience with CruiseDirect: Overcharged, Terrible Room, and Rude Customer Service

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with CruiseDirect. I mean, first off, they charged me more than what was advertised on their website. Like, come on guys, that's not cool. And then, when I finally got through to someone on their chat, it took FOREVER to get it sorted out. I mean, I've got better things to do than sit around waiting for customer service to fix their mistake.

But that's not even the worst part. When I finally got on the cruise, the room they gave us was just awful. Like, seriously, it was the worst room I've ever stayed in. And when I asked if they could help us get a different room, they just flat out declined. Like, what kind of customer service is that? I mean, I get it, they're probably just trying to save a buck, but come on, at least pretend like you care about your customers.

And to top it all off, the customer service rep I talked to was just plain rude. Like, I get that they probably deal with a lot of angry customers, but that's no excuse for treating people like garbage. And when I asked if there was anything else they could do to help us out, they just told me I could cancel for a fee of $440. Like, seriously? That's your solution?

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever book through CruiseDirect again. If you're looking for a good deal on a cruise, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Because if my experience is anything to go by, you'll just end up with a crappy room and terrible customer service.

So, I was trying to get some info about the group discount on CruiseDirect. I had some basic questions, but the CSR kept asking me for my email and phone number. I told him I wasn't ready to order and I didn't feel comfortable giving out that info, but he just kept avoiding my questions and wouldn't give me a straight answer. CruiseDirect Terrible Experience with CruiseDirect: Shady Business Practices and Misleading Information

I had a really bad experience with CruiseDirect. They didn't tell me when the final payment was due, so my reservation got cancelled. I had to call the cruise company myself and they told me that the agent never got a request to reactivate my booking. It seems like CruiseDirect just wants to make more money by making you do a new reservation and lose your deposit. They lied to me and said that my reservation couldn't be reactivated. I wouldn't recommend them at all. It's a really shady business to deal with.

CruiseDirect Deceptive On Board Credit Promise: My Disappointing Experience with CruiseDirect

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with CruiseDirect. I was all excited to go on my cruise, and they promised me a $100 on board credit. They told me not to worry, it would be waiting for me in my stateroom when I boarded. But when I got my invoice and checked my emails, there was no sign of that sweet, sweet credit. I started to get suspicious - was I being scammed?

So I called up CruiseDirect to ask about it, and boy was I surprised by what they told me. The agent on the phone asked if I had completed the REDEMPTION FORM. What redemption form?! Nobody had ever mentioned anything about a redemption form to me before! I was starting to feel pretty deceived at this point.

Let me tell you, folks - don't believe it when they tell you your promised on board credit will be waiting for you when you board. Unless you have that promise in writing, you might be in for a nasty surprise. And don't even get me started on the whole redemption form thing. It's just another way for them to make things more complicated and confusing for us regular folks.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with CruiseDirect. I don't think I'll be using their services again in the future.

CruiseDirect Disappointing Customer Service Experience with CruiseDirect and Cruise Company

So, we decided to give CruiseDirect a try for our cruise this year. We were excited to book our trip, but once they had our money, they seemed to lose interest in communicating with us. We ran into several problems trying to book with the cruise company, but it turned out that the cruise company had misinformation. This wasn't CruiseDirect's fault, but it was frustrating nonetheless.

Between the two companies, they kept passing the buck and neither seemed interested in contacting us directly. We even took to Facebook to post complaints and tried numerous phone calls and live chats, but all we got were promises - repeated promises - to contact us within 48 hours. We had to initiate almost all of the contacts ourselves, and still, they kept passing the buck back and forth.

Overall, we were very disappointed with the customer service we received from both companies. It was a frustrating experience, and we wouldn't recommend using CruiseDirect or the cruise company they booked us with. It's a shame, because we were really looking forward to our trip, but the poor customer service left a bad taste in our mouths.
