CruiseDirect Disappointing Experience with CruiseDirect: Poor Customer Service and Frustrating Booking Process

CruiseDirect is not a good website to use for booking your cruise. The customer service is not very helpful and it feels like you are talking to children. They do not have the answers to your questions and it can be frustrating. I would not recommend this site to anyone. The service is very poor and the people working there do not seem to know what is happening. It is better to go directly to the cruise line website to book your trip.

CruiseDirect Unreliable and Frustrating: My Experience with CruiseDirect.com

I recently used CruiseDirect.com to book a cruise and at first, everything seemed great. I found a really good deal and was excited to set sail. However, after a few months, I received an email from CruiseDirect.com saying that there was a glitch in their system and that the fare I had booked was no longer available. I was really disappointed and frustrated because I had already made plans and was looking forward to my trip.

I did some research online and found out that this has happened to other people who have used CruiseDirect.com in the past. It seems like their system is not very reliable and they have had issues with fares changing or being cancelled unexpectedly. This made me feel even more uneasy about using their service again in the future.

To make matters worse, their customer service was not very helpful either. I tried reaching out to them multiple times to get more information about my booking and to request an invoice, but I never received a response. It was really frustrating to feel like I was being ignored and not taken seriously as a customer.

Overall, I would not recommend using CruiseDirect.com for booking a cruise. There are other options out there that are more reliable and have better customer service. It's important to do your research and read reviews before making any travel arrangements to avoid any unexpected surprises or disappointments.

CruiseDirect Disappointing Experience with Cruise Direct: Glitches and Confusing Invoices

So, I was trying to book a cruise for next year with Cruise Direct. I went on their website and saw that they had a problem with their system. The cabins that were available included the Library! I mean, who wants to sleep in a library, right? Anyways, the agent gave me a cabin number but I wasn't sure if it was really available because of the glitch. Then, they sent me an invoice but it was all messed up. They didn't itemize it right and it was just confusing. So, I decided to cancel the reservation. It was just too much of a hassle.

CruiseDirect Unreliable and Untrustworthy: My Disappointing Experience with CruiseDirect

up. I booked a cruise with CruiseDirect and was disappointed with their service. They claimed to have a price guarantee, but when I found a cheaper price on another website, they refused to match it. They also charged me a hidden fee of $35 per person to cancel my reservation, even though the cruise line didn't charge anything.

I was also surprised to find out that CruiseDirect is not actually accredited by the Better Business Bureau, despite their claims. I tried to look them up on bbb.org, but there was no record of them. This made me question their credibility and honesty.

Overall, I would not recommend using CruiseDirect for booking a cruise. Their false advertising and hidden fees make them an unreliable and untrustworthy company. Don't believe their promises of a hassle-free booking experience, because they don't back it up. Save yourself the trouble and book directly with the cruise line or a more reputable travel agency.

CruiseDirect Disappointing Experience with CruiseDirect: Overcharged, Terrible Room, and Rude Customer Service

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with CruiseDirect. I mean, first off, they charged me more than what was advertised on their website. Like, come on guys, that's not cool. And then, when I finally got through to someone on their chat, it took FOREVER to get it sorted out. I mean, I've got better things to do than sit around waiting for customer service to fix their mistake.

But that's not even the worst part. When I finally got on the cruise, the room they gave us was just awful. Like, seriously, it was the worst room I've ever stayed in. And when I asked if they could help us get a different room, they just flat out declined. Like, what kind of customer service is that? I mean, I get it, they're probably just trying to save a buck, but come on, at least pretend like you care about your customers.

And to top it all off, the customer service rep I talked to was just plain rude. Like, I get that they probably deal with a lot of angry customers, but that's no excuse for treating people like garbage. And when I asked if there was anything else they could do to help us out, they just told me I could cancel for a fee of $440. Like, seriously? That's your solution?

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever book through CruiseDirect again. If you're looking for a good deal on a cruise, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Because if my experience is anything to go by, you'll just end up with a crappy room and terrible customer service.

CruiseDirect Unhelpful Customer Service Experience with CruiseDirect's Group Discount

So, I was trying to get some info about the group discount on CruiseDirect. I had some basic questions, but the CSR kept asking me for my email and phone number. I told him I wasn't ready to order and I didn't feel comfortable giving out that info, but he just kept avoiding my questions and wouldn't give me a straight answer. I've never seen customer service like this before, and it's making me wonder if I can trust them to actually place an order. It's pretty tricky from the get-go, and I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle.

CruiseDirect Terrible Experience with CruiseDirect: Shady Business Practices and Misleading Information

I had a really bad experience with CruiseDirect. They didn't tell me when the final payment was due, so my reservation got cancelled. I had to call the cruise company myself and they told me that the agent never got a request to reactivate my booking. It seems like CruiseDirect just wants to make more money by making you do a new reservation and lose your deposit. They lied to me and said that my reservation couldn't be reactivated. I wouldn't recommend them at all. It's a really shady business to deal with.

I just wanted to give an update on my experience with CruiseDirect. I recently booked a cruise through their website and was pleased to see that they advertised a guaranteed low price. However, just two days after booking, I noticed that the price had dropped by almost $200. I called their customer service line to see if they could honor the new price, but unfortunately, they said that because it was past the 24-hour cancellation period, they couldn't do anything about it. This was a bit disappointing, but I understand that policies are policies.

Despite this hiccup, I have to say that my overall experience with CruiseDirect has been positive. The registration of my on-board ship credit was completed within a day, and I found that their offers were slightly better than other popular travel booking sites like Expedia, Priceline, and CruiseCritic. But what really stood out to me was their customer service. I've been dealing with a representative named Eugene Marc-Henry through their online chat feature, and he has been incredibly helpful and friendly. It's always a relief to have a quick and easy way to get in touch with customer service when you need it.

Overall, I'm still looking forward to my upcoming cruise and hoping for a great experience. I'll be sure to update my review after the trip, but for now, I would give CruiseDirect a solid four stars.

CruiseDirect Deceptive On Board Credit Promise: My Disappointing Experience with CruiseDirect

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with CruiseDirect. I was all excited to go on my cruise, and they promised me a $100 on board credit. They told me not to worry, it would be waiting for me in my stateroom when I boarded. But when I got my invoice and checked my emails, there was no sign of that sweet, sweet credit. I started to get suspicious - was I being scammed?

So I called up CruiseDirect to ask about it, and boy was I surprised by what they told me. The agent on the phone asked if I had completed the REDEMPTION FORM. What redemption form?! Nobody had ever mentioned anything about a redemption form to me before! I was starting to feel pretty deceived at this point.

Let me tell you, folks - don't believe it when they tell you your promised on board credit will be waiting for you when you board. Unless you have that promise in writing, you might be in for a nasty surprise. And don't even get me started on the whole redemption form thing. It's just another way for them to make things more complicated and confusing for us regular folks.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with CruiseDirect. I don't think I'll be using their services again in the future.

CruiseDirect Disappointing Customer Service Experience with CruiseDirect and Cruise Company

So, we decided to give CruiseDirect a try for our cruise this year. We were excited to book our trip, but once they had our money, they seemed to lose interest in communicating with us. We ran into several problems trying to book with the cruise company, but it turned out that the cruise company had misinformation. This wasn't CruiseDirect's fault, but it was frustrating nonetheless.

Between the two companies, they kept passing the buck and neither seemed interested in contacting us directly. We even took to Facebook to post complaints and tried numerous phone calls and live chats, but all we got were promises - repeated promises - to contact us within 48 hours. We had to initiate almost all of the contacts ourselves, and still, they kept passing the buck back and forth.

Overall, we were very disappointed with the customer service we received from both companies. It was a frustrating experience, and we wouldn't recommend using CruiseDirect or the cruise company they booked us with. It's a shame, because we were really looking forward to our trip, but the poor customer service left a bad taste in our mouths.
