On Friday, 11/25/2022 @9:53am, I placed an online order at the Roseville, Michigan location for an improptu brunch that I decided to have at my home. The online order # was [protected]. I ordered to of the catering paltters and was advised that my order would be ready at 1pm. I called and spoke with the restaurant at approximately 12pm and asked if there was any chance that my order would be ready sooner as I had guests arriving at 1pm. I was advised thatthey would not be able to have the order ready early and that the originally quoted time would stand. I get to the restaurant and although the order was for curbside, I decided to go in because I knew the order was large. AFter waiting for 10 minutes in a line, i was told that catering orders are differnt and i should have advised that upon arrival. After waiting another 10 minutes, a sever comes to me and advises that the website should not have allowed me to place an order (although I submitted payment onlne) and they would not be able honor the order. Very upset, I asked for a confimation that the order had been cancelled as I already saw the pending charge on my credit card. They proceed to tell me that they cant cancel the order without the order # but the wifi in the restaurant was not working at the time. I had to wait another 20 minutes until someone could find an alternative way to look up and cancel my order. Needless to say, my brunch was ruined and the employees could not have cared less. This was a horrible experience and I really hop the company cares enough to do something about it.
Desired outcome: Some sort of compensation for my time, effort, gas, and ruined event in whatever way Cracker Barrel deems appropriate. I orders $192 worth of food and left with nothing
