Costco review: Kirkland popcorn a disappointment

We purchased a box of 36 packets of Kirkland popcorn on 09/15/2026 at the Lenexa, KS store. We were disappointed with Skinny Pop, as it seemed the Hershey Corporation, which owns Skinny Pop, had cheapened the product since acquiring the Brand two or three years ago.

The Kirkland brand was okay, but it appears that Kirkland is using low-grade corn to make the product. Additionally, some kernels tasted wet from the coconut oil.

Other grocery store brands taste better than either Kirkland or Skinny Pop.

Recommendation: Better products are available
