Today, I went to Costco to buy some food and two ninja blenders. I wanted to have three invoices two for each blender (because of warranty purposes) and the other for my food. The cashier in a very bad way didn't allow me to do what we need and I couldn't finish buying the whole food I wanted. She didn't even allow me to explain my reasons. The market was full and it was raining and I preferred to leave there the rest of my purchases to avoid any problem in front of people which is so embarrassing.

illness after eating food product
Purchased brownie type product "Kitchen Sink" on 5/27/2017. Consumed a few pieces that day.The following day on the 28th I experienced GI upset. The 29th I felt great. After dinner I had a few more pieces. As the night progressed I experienced increasing GI upset, until I had episodes of vomiting which looked like brownie type material. I had no other issue consuming any other food product that weekend. Another family member stated that they had ingested a single piece and threw it back up almost immediately. I contacted my local Costco the next morning. I was told to bring in the product and complete an incident report, which I did. This was done on May 30th. I was told to expect a phone call within 24 hours. After 48 hours had passed, I phone the store again. I was told it could take up to 72 hours. Its been one week now. Its become apparent that Costco either has a failure in communication, or simply doesn't care about their customers. Member # [protected]
rude staffers dispensing food samples
Why do so many Costco staffers, who are dispensing free samples, display such resentment towards customers for taking the free samples? This is common to a number of Costco stores, but store #623 seems to be particularly egregious. A number of employees seem to begrudge customer sampling: This is evidenced, by not only their grumpy demeanor, but by their stalling tactics in putting the samples under the safety guards. Sometimes when customers make jokes about such unwilling behaviors, it is quite amusing, but mostly it is annoying. (Lynn, at #623, is especially discourteous in providing this service, but she is certainly not the only offending employee). There are products in your stores that I have only purchased because of sampling. Perhaps corporate needs to look into this unpleasantness, because not only do these employees forget that the samples are not their personal property, but it may behoove them to remember we do not go into these stores to be insulted by peevish employees for doing exactly what Costco has invited us to do.

I became a Costco member this year, I have had good customer service experience up until Yesterday 06/03/2017 when i tried the foodcourt for the first time, I waited in line for over 45 minutes to order a pizza, which I was ok with. However while I was in line to order I had another person stand in line to retrieve the order, as I apparently had to wait in a second line to receive the pizza I ordered. When I paid for my pizza and went to the second line with my friend and came to the window, I was helped by a Costco employee that was fulfilling the orders. He proceeded to tell me that I could not expect to receive the pizza right away after having placed the order that I had to wait an additional 30 min. I told him I had been waiting over 45 min to order and that they are continuously making pepperoni pizza's and I did not understand why he would not fulfill my order when i could clearly see pizzas ready and nobody in line. This employee who's name is Rene stated he was a manger and that he would be the only person I could speak to about the situation. He managed to ignore me, cut me off while speaking, and started helping other members while I was still speaking with him. The person who took my order Fabiola told me I did not have to wait 30 min if when I was int he second line and reached the window and a pizza was ready I would get it.
As a member who pays a yearly fee, I was not happy with the way I was treated, specially after having had to wait over 45 minutes in the Bakersfield CA heat outside to place an order to buy a product from Costco. The situation was embarrassing and humiliating, I had never had anyone speak to me in such a manner, especially a "manager". This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and I will have to consider not renewing my membership with Costco. I hope something can be done that will help me change my mind and the way I see costumer service at Costco. This unfortunate situation happened in the Bakersfield located at 4900 Panama Ln, Bakersfield Ca in the foodcourt.

I do not enjoy this unpleasant behavior checking out items carefully and took a awhile and the American lady in front didn't even check her ticket. I think it's an act of racism and unfair. I have been a member for 5 years and never been trwated this way.i want to inform costco for this act and also let them know it doesn't matter the color of our skin we should all be treated the same.

I would like to talk to customer service department regarding unpleasant experience at Roseville, CA location today.
My husband and I bought so much same or unnecessary stuffs back to back in a couple weeks so I decided to return the stuffs I did not need today.
The person, Amanda C, OP# 631, who received my return made me feel horrible when I returned the stuffs. When I brought my stuffs in her count with pre-scanned receipt, she said " Are you going to return all of these ?" staring at me with frowning face then "what's wrong with these?" with unpleasant voice. I explained her that my husband bought same stuffs I bought or the stuffs I didn't need. I said sorry to her because I had 17 items with old items I bought a few months ago. She didn't say anything and kept scanning then when she found out she missed one items, she said " Oh gosh, I missed one" with angry voice." I felt bad but didn't say anything to her. After she finished, she said to leave the stuffs on the count. But while I was putting the items from the cart to counter, she was staring at me with unpleasant look. After I put all the items on the counter, I said " Thank you so much" but she did not say anything and just was staring at me. I know I had a lot of stuffs to return but I shouldn't be treated that way from employee. I didn't even have a single item I returned after I used. Everything was intact. She was very rude and made me feel horrible. I buy a lot of stuffs at costco, sometimes, I have to return the stuffs. It is not right to treat customer like that. I don't deserve to be treated that way.
I'd like to file complaint against her and hoping you guy can take care of this. I like shopping at costco and a lot of employees are nice and polite. It is not good for costco to let your one of employees ruin your brand value.

I had a cashier named Gina at the Regent ave location in Winnipeg. This woman is extremely rude, I was treated very badly by her, she wouldn't let me pay with my debit card because we used my husbands Costco card, she asked my to prove i had a Costco card, my husband was standing there beside me. He woman in front of me, her debit card wouldn't go through, Gina kept saying out loud "Declined"
This is your last chance, the woman's card went through it was the machine at Costco. Gina really embarrassed the woman, I felt terrible for her. I put a complaint in with the manager on duty and filled out a form. She assured me it would be addressed. Yesterday I again went to Costco and ended up in Gina's line, once again we were treated very rudely.
Should we be treated like this, as we are paying to shop there?
If Costco continues to employ people like Gina they will soon lose a lot of business.
I'm completely turned off by there customer service.

I usually go to the Tracy location #658 because I find more accommodating than the one that is closer to my house. I ordered 2 boxes of pizza when i was purchasing my items. Waited 10 mins in the pick up line like everyone else to get my food. When i got to the counter the gentlemen asked me if I called in my order. He goes to the back with my receipt and comes back to tell me my order is going to take 30 mins, When the customer in front of me that I saw buy his 3 boxes of veggie pizzas during also got his without having his receipt being checked. The other customer behind ordered a box of pepperoni pizza during check out and got his box. So why would my combo and pepperoni pizza take 30 mins? When clearly I can see a bunch of pizzas that are coming out of the oven. I did go to customer service and complain, they game me my money back but the thing that irritated me the most and did not help with the situation, there was a supervisor right behind the counter just hearing my complain and did nothing! The customer service lady asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager. Why would i do that when there was one behind the counter and just didn't care?! They just basically gave me a refund and not even apologized or did anything about it.

The last two times I have been to Costco in Temecula I have had the same cashier and both times she was very rude and disrespectful. She threw our food and products we were buying. She didn't just throw a couple item she threw multiple items over and over again. It was rude and disrespectful. Her name is Cheryl M. We spend over $500 a month at Costco and we don't deserve to be treated like this.
pharmacy - change of subcontractor providing generics
For the past year, I have used Costco pharmacy for my Escitalopram 10 MG table prescription. After about 2 weeks of taking my most recent prescription filled on 4/21/17, I began to feel differently. I inquired at the pharmacy to see if there had been any changes in the vendor providing the prescription for the latest Rx. They printed out the recent rx script labels, and the prior 3 fills that showed their was change of vendors from Blue point labs to Accord Healthcare for my 4/21/17 script. The pharmacist said that they did not have a solution for me.
My physician advised me to increase my dosage from 1 1/2 tabs to 2 as vendor mixes differ, but even with this, I am still not feeling right.
Internet information on Accord is that it is a start-up operation. My conclusion is it is likely that the mixture differs from Blue Point Labs and are not effective.
I would advise anyone buying Costco rx generics, that they pay attention to any health changes, and let it be known to Costco that making better deals with rx providers may impact their health directly.

Today I did go to Costco Warehouse in Carolina, Puerto Rico the service that they bring me at that time was out of control. Recently i have to renovate my membership in the warehouse and I decided if I continue with the Executive type The 120.00 dollars I will go to spend it was in vain, because repeteadly times I did go to claim my 2% money refund and they never gave me that money. Everytime when i did it go they never have the authorization code. If they valorate their members they are going to found a solution to this problema. Today Costco warehouse in Carolina, Puerto Rico lose 1 client and 120.00 dollars anuals per concept of membership Also 3, 000 dollars of purchases.

Today I went to Costco in San Francisco to inquire about tires. When I arrived, there were two people in line which left me as the third and final person in line. About 10 minutes after I got there there were still three of us in line and one of the two guys who was working the counter disappeared. The second person working at the counter was busy with customers, going in and out of the office to check on their cars, and would leave and disappear for 15 minutes at a time. During that time no one else ever came to the counter to help anybody. After 45 minutes I was finally waited on, only to be told it was a three hour wait to get the tires put on. I will NEVER go to Costco again for tires for any of my vehicles. BTW, at the end of my 45 minute wait there was still only one person working the counter, who kept disappearing for long periods of time. The service is awful. I would rather give my business to a small, local merchant who respects my time.

The service initially was fine until we tried to cancel and have removed.
They made tons of billing errors, I called 5-6 times and was told everything was settled and my account was closed. Then I got a collections letter in the mail...
When I called they said they were sorry and feel for me as it was their fault according to the notes, but there was nothing they could do.
This is not acceptable and I am certain that this does not hold up to the Costco standard that we have come to love.
Please assist in anyway possible as my efforts have gotten me no where.

Last weekend I bought five bags of Uncokked Organic Tortilla from the fullerton warehouse in california. We opened it up last night and the Tortillas were with fungus. I have pictures of it and the batch number. I cannot even carry it in my car to take it to the store. This has never happened to me before as i buy almost every visit i go to costco. hearing aid service
I bought my signature Kirkland 5.0 hearing aids 3 years ago and you replaced a faulty one 1 year ago. I lost it and want a replacement. I cannot buy them anymore because of the change in models. No one seems to want to find me a replacement but when I found one on eBay the agent said company policy is that he cannot service it, that is he won't pair it with the other one and my Bluetooth devices. This seems unconscionable. Since my aids are not old and now I can't get service? How can you justify such a policy? I definitely won't be buying my new ones there !
I would expect that somewhere in your back shelves you would have a signature 5 that has been set aside or even one that was a shelf model.
At least your agent should have permission to program and pair a used aid that I find, with my one existing one.

My husband was purchasing a beer. I'm pregnant and was not drinking it. The woman gave me a hard time because my picture on my ID looked different and instead of asking for a second form she just continued to question the ID and was severely rude and I gave her 3 more forms and she wasn't even apologetic. She just continued to beraid me for my picture looking different. I left the store in tears. If she had a problem with the first form she should have asked for a second one. I'm 33 years old and have never had a problem using it anywhere. She handled the situation very poorly. I will avoid going through her line in the future. I pay to shop at Costco and I should be treated with more respect.
The location is in Harrisonburg, VA #238. The woman's name is Robin B. We have been the ABC ID Training. You should never question a persons appearance, you always ask for a second form. I gave her my Costco card, bank card, mini birth certificate.

I called Almaden Cosctco, San Jose CA Administration on 06/01/17 around 9.30 to return Item 940049 because it stopped working suddenly, Administrator told me to bring it to swap with a good one. I also told her I dont have the box or the receipt; but luckily I found the receipt. I went to Costco and was returning the item and the stupid customer service man JON (dont know his last name) said old model is not even on the computer. But he said he cannot take it because there were no attachments, The old model did not have any attachments, but I could not convinced him; he wanted me to bring them to match with the attachments on the newer model. He gave me a hard time even though Vanessa P was helping me. Finally, Laura H. gave me the refund because I wanted to buy the same brand back. Unfortunately the same model is not available. But both are the same price. They took all the attachments out from new model, gave me the main vacuume only for the same price. Why? Is that how you treat a customer who patronized Coscto for over 25 years? I called after coming home and talked Oralia, the manager of the branch around 1.30 and told her the story. She said she will call back. It is 4pm now and no response from her. I want the full refund for the new model they stripped and gave me only the main vacuume. You need to do the right thing by the customer. I did not buy the first one with intention of returning it. Call me back and refund the money please. [protected]
propal avocados are horrible!
I bought a package of Propal large Hass avocados from Chile. Major regret. These avocados were probably picked way too early and then frozen because by the time the rind ripens to almost rotting 90% of the rest is like cardboard and unfit for human consumption. I'm going to stop buying vegetable produce from CostCo entirely based on CostCo's habit of shipping food around the world like they're lawnmowers. It's a neat experiment but it clearly didn't work.
Other produce you stock like meats and cheese are fine. They freeze well for transport, apparently. The tiramisu from Italy was especially good. However just because avocados are impossible to find in California this year doesn't mean you can just import them from the other side of the planet and still call them edible. You're just ripping people off at that point. Stop it.

Being a member of Costco since 1991 I have never in my life felt so insulted by any employee until moving to Atlanta and shopping in the Brookhaven location. On my way out of the store recently a supervisor named Patrick told me to "shoo shoo shoo" as if I'm some sort of pest while I was briefly talking to one of the door staff. Another supervisor named Cynthia thought it was also funny that he did that and they both laughed. I did not find this funny at all. In fact I was offended and thought it was a very rude thing to do. I held Costco at a higher standard than this and am very disappointed with the way the staff treated me at this location especially being that they are front end supervisors and should be leading the rest of the staff by example and that was a poor example of how you should treat customers.

I placed an order an the Costco Location in Pacoima CA, I had received an email about my order being ready, I called to confirm and prints were never printed. I wasted a whole day, and the people waited to the last minute to call and say our printer is down, really uncalled for, got off work early to pick up to just say that the printer was down, when I had gotten an email of them being ready. The staff there is very rude.
