pharmacy abuse; pills stolen
My boyfriend's perscription was shorted 20 out of 70 pills at Costco Pharmacy in Issaquah; they even stored it in a smaller bottle. I was right beside him when we counted it. Costco claims to have "recounted 3 times" and refuses to admit any fault, which can only mean ONE thing; my boyfriend's medicine (which, by the way, is the strength of morphine) was STOLEN by someone in a white coat, someone we should have been able to trust. My boyfriend is unable to get the proper care he needs and is now lying in bed, pale, cold, sweating, SUFFERING, because a Costco Pharmacist stole his medicine. Pick up your medicine here if you like, but I would advise counting your pills out right in front of the cashier. Who cares if they think it's 'annoying'? This is your health we're talking about here. Don't let Costco Pharmacy abuse you.
And, YES, Costco, I'm going to post this review everywhere I can find! What you have done to my boyfriend is disgusting, and I will fight to the end for this.
fraudulent email pricing
I received an email from Costco.com stating that I could purchase a Verizon Wireless Droid X either in the Warehouse stores or online for $99.99 and the price was good for either a new activation or qualified 2 year upgrade (which is what I wanted) as long as I brought in a copy of the email. I attempted to obtain this price at 2 different warehouse stores (Lancaster and Westlake Village) and was told at both stores that they did not care what the email showed their price for an upgrade was $149.99. I also attempted to obtain the price on Costco’s web site and it was also $149.99. I emailed Costco and they replied that they agreed with me that the price should be $99.99 and they would refer my email to the Costco employee that is the contact with the company that runs the wireless kiosks in the stores. That was the last I heard from them.
don't use them
Do not use/purchase Costco debit machines it is the worst mistake I have made so far in my business. We had one installed a few months ago and signed a 3 year contract and now we find out they cannot take more than a 5 number pin and cannot take a chip as of yet "but they are working on it". 70% of our customers have 6-7 numbers in their pin and 90% have chip cards. The bank doesn't issue non chip cards anymore and now we have to inconvenience our customers and tell them to go use a atm... I tried to speak with them and was very rudely told I can wait until they feel like updating or cancel contract for a $250 fee. So now I have to pay a fee for something that doesn't have a use unless my customer wishes to use visa which is more expensive for me but makes Elavon more money! A $250 fee to cancel... $250.00 worth of advertising isn't going to fix the campaign I am about to embark!
deceptive coupon printing
On Wednesday, January 19, 2011 we did some shopping at the Lakewood COSTCO store. Among our grocery list was Pork Loin as we had a $4.00 off coupon. At checkout, all the other coupons were listed on the receipt except for the Pork On the following day, 01/20/2011, we went to the return desk to get credit for the coupon. However we were told the coupon wa...

Do not buy anything online form costco! They use third party vendors and then do not follow up. Over a month after my husband ordered a wine fridge for a christmas present for me we still had heard nothng. After doing a lot of legwork ourselves and then spending 40 mins on hold and trying to deal with a super lame customer service person this is what we got: fridge was dmaged and sent back by cargo carrier (Who knows if we ever would have been notified as that was 4 weeks before we called) they had not "processed the return". They could place a brand new order but it was a min of 10 business days and they could not guarantee that item would be ok but they would refund it if it was not. Lovely. Barely an apology. Instead it was basically our fault for ordering - here are some quotes:“well – these things happen”, “we cannot guarantee shipment when it is a 3rd party”, “we don’t control their cargo carrier” etc. Practically blamed us for buying it and kept going on about it being from new york and “well, I need to understand this was being shipped across the country so this could happen again”. She told me the best they could do is estimate 10 business days and they could only find out if any discount would be offered after we received the item. Beyond ridiculous. I pointed out that none of this information about the obvious risk she was refrring to about where it was being shipped form, 3rd party etc as pon their site when you ordered the item and the consumer just thought they were ordering from costco. "well we will refund any item you are not satisfied with though". Great. How about working on satisfying the customer in the 1st place!

Stealth Pilot, you stated that “every retailer has 30 days to deliver your product by law.” The original post never mentioned which state this transaction took place in. Therefore, I can only assume that you are making reference to a federal law. Which federal statute states that “every retailer has 30 days to deliver your product by law?” Please provide an appropriate citation otherwise stop playing armchair lawyer. It’s people like you that cause folks to represent themselves pro se and get skewered.
Regardless, are you an attorney? If not, do you realize that the unlicensed practice of law may be a criminal offense? Do you realize that providing incorrect legal advice may well bring about lawsuits against your person?

On the subject of the gentleman from Glendale, who had poor service from Mr. Lopez, I just think the whole recent idea of best tires on the back is a real hoot. So, this is not "hearsay", as Eucommia so eloquently suggests. Also, it's not about buying four tires if the person can only afford two at a time. How about considering the individual here, for once, and not trying to speak for them. The economy is poor-and has been-for many of us. Such a line as Eucommia's "buy 4 tires and there won't be any issues" is of no consideration, therefore, and
neither, then, is his opinion. I worked in tire & auto services for years. That was in the "ancient" times when we actually thought that the best tires should go on the front, since the front takes all the wear and tear, curves, and the average everyday front-wheel drive being the center of control. How crazy we really must have been, huh? Another gentleman here mentions hydroplaning and how placing the best tires on the back controls this-and traction. True, however, by doing such happens not to control the hydroplane and traction of the front, which is where your power, again, is located. If I'm sliding on ice or snow, do I want the better tires on the front or back? Ask yourself such a question. A little fish-tailing in the back is hardly going to cause an accident. By placing the best on the back, we're putting the sled before the dogs ... literally. If you look up the statistics, such reported accidents have risen nationally SINCE this "regulatory" measure. Another thing about this is how the companies are relating the whole thing to government regulating. This is not true. The government only suggests such, this isn't a law. The reason why so many tire dealers are copping out on it is because, well ... it sells more tires. The front tires always receive the most wear, so if you find new reasons not to replace them, the wear will only increase, of course. However,
so does the danger of driving on them. However, even when we were placing the best on the front, the customer had the right to decline. This tactic is just another one of those being used to push the consumer into purchasing. The only problem is that this is exactly what doesn't work, when it comes to winning over customers. I recently stopped in our local Omaha Costco. I've only had good service from this store. In fact, I've had better service in this location than
any other Costco in any city I've frequented and the staff is very courteous. So, here's the story: I have a used Chevy Impala and knew it was going to need tires when I recently purchased it. I hadn't
noticed the really poor shape of the rear ones, though, which were actually worse than the front. My bad. So, when I asked if I could have a rotation, since I'd noticed the fronts weren't in the greatest of shape, they declined, due the shape of the rears. Just call me Mr. Myopic. They told me that they could only rotate these if I replaced the rear, as they should have said. So, this is completely justified. Again, my bad. The car is front-wheel drive, of course, and I wanted good tires on the front. Due to budgeting, I was going to have to wait a bit to replace the the other set. So, they replaced the rears ... and then told me that the best tires have to stay on the rear-? Wait, but you just said ... . Confusing? Yes, a bit. So, I was being misinformed. They sold the tires to me, but were less than straight about how they'd be handling this situation, giving me the idea that I was going to rotate after replacement. So, I had to take this, now being stuck (yes, to all you non-believers - stuck!) I had great tires on the back and, still, the less than so on the front. Back to square one. Costco - 1 Me-0 A snow hit right after this, though, and what do you think happpened? Well, I had no traction, was hydroplaning, couldn't get through at all, cars passing me, my car sliding all over. After twice getting caught in the snow on a side street, I was able to pull out but had to back up about a block, which was okay, since there was no traffic. The back tires
handled this reverse fantastically well! Too bad I just can't drive in reverse everywhere-and it's not even a rear-wheel drive! Costco still says it did the right thing and won't switch them. Blah! Blah! Blah! Oh, the tangled web we weave. I used to get angry with such things. Now, I just get back, which is why I'm writing this, in the first place. Since I am economically challenged at the moment, I'm driving my old Honda, which has old tires, all still working better than the Impala's mix of old and new. Oh, and I'm not shopping at the Omaha Costco anymore. As much as I'm NOT a Sears fan, by any means, I may need to use 'em a bit more ... at least for tires. That is where I'll be
buying the second pair, in case Eucommia would like to know.

Well you can say what you want, argue and complain but the truth of the matter is that it comes down to liability. Michelin lost a lawsuit where a woman in Georgia i beleve, bought 2 tires and they were placed on the front, leaving worn tires on the rear. the vehicle hydroplaned, spun out and lost control due to no traction on the rear. she was paralyzed from the neck down. Anyhow, in the litigation that followed, it was determined by highway patrol accidnet investigators that if the new tires were place in the rear, this accidnet very likley wouldnt have happend. The Lawyers for the plaintiff went after the installer, and the installer of course, pointed the finger at michelin saying that they were unaware of any such policy, and michelin never told them anything. So hey found michelin liable, and awarded the woman 32 million dollars. They went after michlein im sure becuase thats where the money was, not the tire shop, wich by the way was was a small firm, not a big corporation like costco. If that was costco, costco would have payed that, and probably michelin would have to part with some money too, but the point is a liablity, and no company ever wants to have any potential lawsuit like this. And dont say, "well they could sign a waiver". You could, but what if that driver injured another motorist? They didnt sign that waiver. Then the other motorist could hold costco liable. its not a scam to sell more tires. You have more control over the front of the car, by braking and steering. you have limited braking in the rear, and no control over the steering in the rear. Thats the reason new tires go in the rear and not the front. Personally, i dont care where you put the new tires, its not my car anyways, but its just something that has to be done.
poor packaging for transport
Ordered a laptop from Costco on line. Unit sent in oversized box (at least 4 times unit volume) with virtually no packing allowing the unit to freely move around in box. When asking for replacement I was advised they no longer offered the laptop and suggested turning it in for rebate. Item was intended as a gift and am now without at this late date. Also it took an additional email to arouse them into responding to my request. I shall never purchase an item from Costco on line, recognizing the manner in which they handle their products and terse servicing.
ebt discrimination
I went to Costco on December 10, 2010 and utilized my EBT card. I share a household with my adult relative. She has a Costco card and when we used my EBT card to pay for the food they would not allow us to utilize her card. However, before we got EBT prior to the economy Costco had no problem using my debit card and her Costco Card. This is unfair and discriminating towards low income individuals. How do you allow one policy to be different because of your income status/payment capabilities and not violate New York Consumer Protection Laws.
Hi, yes I have experienced the same problem. That's why we don't go to Costco anymore.

costco tires
Bad customer service at Costco Tires in San Juan Capistrano? Yes, definitely. I had purchased tires there and needed them to rebalance a flat I had. The tires manager had an attitude and it got worse. An hour later I complained to a manager Lianne, which went with me to talk to the guy (Ian?) He excused himself telling her that etc, etc, ...Well, another half hour and nothing happens, so I ask for my keys and then suddenly they are free to do it at that moment !?! (they were two to three guys working on one tire?)Maybe it is better when you buy the tires, but when it is a warranty situation NO GO!

terrible customer service
Sequim costco customer service works like a "club" - if they recognize you as being rich or one of their buddies they refund you anything even without a receipt! If you don't fall in that class, you are subject to racial descrimination, sarcasm and ridicule. Costco cares only about money, they could care less about "just being human" - corporate managers do nothing, zero, to help, unless again if you are rich! Sad that a company like this is allowed to stay in business - washington state needs an ombudsman to keep bad companies like costco in check! They spend millions to try to buy an election that allows them to profit even more selling hard liquor but care zero about "the little guy"
I totally agree! Always the very same people that hate their jobs at the customer service desk, they help you only if they recognize you as one of their cronies... COSTCO COULD CARE LESS if they lose a few memberships from people that don't shop too much, they pretty much want only Fat Cats as members.
First of all, you are a total ### for responding to your own post. Second of all, since you have no facts backing up your claims, I am going to assume you are full of it.
2% rebate check
I had been long time Costco Executive Business member, but for last three years, Costco's 2% check never comes on time. Every time you call they give you run abouts.
for last 6 weeks been calling them, but no response. Went to the Costco Store on manchester road, St.Louis county informed member services, manager on duty NO response.
Today spoke with Mr.Dough Summers, Manager at Costco after run abouts with member services on phone for over 49 minutes. Their supervisor on duty Mr.Travis was most un professional guy, inconsistent with Costco's reputation.
Bottomline, rebate check for 2% is still missing? They have no response, or remedy and expect customers to keep calling them. This is going for atleast for last three years, every year keep calling for check.
Hope BBB, Attorney General's in various states look into this scam. Personally, it's most unrewarding experience to waste time following up for 2% check with those unprofessional persons. is it worth all the time and effort?
Anyone with similar experience ?

e shield insulation
Costco is currently promoting a product called E Shield that is installed by K-Designers that is guarnteed to save you 25% off your energy bills. Before you contact Costco, visit a site called energysavers.gov, that has research about radiant barriers. You'll find they are not recommended for cold climates and will not result in 25% energy savings or anywhere near that.
If you decide to respond to Costco's email, as I did, you will not have a pleasant experience. K-Designers is a high pressure sales company. Yes, I received the 10% costco discount, but also was given an even larger and more significant discount if I would sign the deal while the sales rep was still here and if I would allow them to take pictures of my home and if I would write letters of testimonial about the product. What about the 25% energy savings? Given the price quoted, K-Designers could easily give me the maximum one year guaranteed savings of $500 and they would still have been over three times higher than a local installer. Please do your reseach and get local installer bids before contacting Costco. Then if its still a good deal from K-Designers, go for it. You'll even be offered free vinyl shutters and a brass door bell button!
This is a high pressure sales job that is not up to Costco standards of quality and customer service. It is an overpriced product that has no value in cold climates and some value in hot climates. Costco did cancel my order upon request, so I'm only out four hours of my time listening to a high pressure sales talk and internet research and $13.65 to send the overnight contract cancellation to K-Designers. Research before you contact Costco on this one...I think they were taken in by the sales presentation, just like me!

I would have to say that there is something to this E-Shield product that I have not seen with any radiant barrier products. First off, I saw the proof positive after running into Home Energy Solutions at my local Costco in Atlanta (another company like K-Designers, mentioned above), and having it installed in my home.
My house is a 4000+ square foot home here in Atlanta, with ample attic space. We can burn upwards of $500/month on electric bills during peak summer usage, and in the winter, although the electric costs drop (using no A/C), we do use more gas to heat the home, so the costs sort of flip on electric/gas depending on the season.
Anyhow, moving on, when Home Energy Solutions came by, it was a very no-pressure, informative session. When we toured my attic, it was north of 140 degrees up there. Long story short, they came in, did the install, also threw in a lot of other energy saving improvements (as a bonus for making my decision on the day of the demo), and since that, I have watched my energy bills plummet! My $450 summer bill immediately dropped to just under $300. Anxious now to see what happens in the winter on my heating costs as well. I financed this at a cost of about $103 per month over 5 years (for about a 2600 sq. ft. install), and the savings each month since have been easily covering the cost...AND THEN SOME!
For us, the E-Shield installation has been a GREAT decision, and the product has worked flawlessly. I also love that this product is backed 100% for LIFE! If ANYTHING ever goes wrong, HES will come back out and fix it...no charges, no fees...nothing. It's installed once, and it's in for the life of the house from there on out. Great investment...great product. It's paying for itself and putting money back in our pockets each month! OH...and it is not radiant barrier...it's radiant insulation, and it WILL end up in a $1500 tax credit for us this year, if you were wondering!
think eSheild is a great product
I beg to differ on the dead air space. What do you call the space between the insulation and the roof, if it's not dead-air space. It does create a pocket of air that absolutely acts as a dead -air space insulating system. I have seen the results of this product being installed in my state of Virginia and North Carolina, and the reviews have been super positive. 96% say they were satisfied with the product, and 90% have said that they would do business again with the company. Those are real numbers, and they speak for themselves. I was in a house in June that had eSheild. It was the day following a storm had passed through and knocked out the power in the area. 24 hours later the house was still under 75 degrees. It was in the mid-90's out side. the product is AMAZING. It works incredibly well. I have seen it and felt it myself. It evens out the house, and your heating and cooling costs are usually cut in HALF -
First, both radiant barrier and reflective insulation come perforated, and the perforated radiant barriers are more breathable than eShield, reflect the same radiant heat, are better reinforced to prevent rips and tears, and are a fraction of the price. Prove it to yourself, and request a free sample of a perforated radiant barrier to compare - better perforations, higher strength, and equally reflective. Below are a couple different radiant barrier websites.
http://www.atticfoil.com/metalized-aluminum-radiant-barrier-foil-pricing.htm http://www.ecofoil.com/All-Products/Radiant-Barrier
Second, it is the reflective aluminum on the eShield that makes it work. If you have 12 inches of fiberglass for R-38, do you really think that just adding 1/4 inch of fiberglass is going to make any significant difference? Of coarse not, it's the reflective foil that makes the product work. If you know that, then why bother buying the 1/4 inch of fiberglass at all?
Third, a reflective insulation only has R-value if it is in a completely sealed, dead air space, not in a vented space like an attic. The ventilation is necessary to get rid of convective heat and moisture in the attic, but means that the multi-layer reflective insulation has no dead air space, and therefore the only R-value is that of the fiberglass. Instead of an R-11, it's no more than an R1 in a vented attic. It works by reflecting radiant heat in the attic, just like a radiant barrier.
http://www.rimainternational.org/index.php/technical/rima-i-handbook/
This person certainly has an interesting point of view. I too am a Costco member and have been for over 20 years. I love Costco and have purchased from Costco.com as well as in their stores. We looked into the eShield and ultimately bought it.
K-Designers came to our home and made a presentation. Yes, they did ask us to buy that day but no one forced me to buy (in fact we sort of expected that they would ask us to buy the same daywhen we set the appointment, we just said "NO we'll have to get back to you").
We elected to wait to do some research. We found the same US Department of Energy website listed above and realized this article refers to single ply alumium radiant barriers -- clearly NOT the same product! By reading the entire article carefully the author describes another type of material called REFLECTIVE INSULATION. See the same website, different article --
http://www.energysavers.gov/your_home/insulation_airsealing/index.cfm/mytopic=11670
See also YOU TUBE for more info... this is an house in a cold climate...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uv_Hg6bBVZI
The more research we did the more we discovered that Reflective Insulation is the way to go regardless of climate. Yes, it is slightly more effective in the summer but when installed properly can be very effective in the winter too.
Another reason radiant barriers can be problematic is they don't "breath" -- they have a tendency to trap moisture which of course negates any benefit. We read of some cases where moisture condensed and froze on the surface of the radiant barrier and damaged insulation and other parts of homes.
In contrast the eShield product is Reflective INSULATION that has microscopic perforations which allow the product to breath so moisture and condensation are never an issue.
The more we learned about it the more convinced we became that eShield is a good product -- so we bought it and we're happy we did. Our home is more comfortable and our energy consumption is lower. We are completely satisfied with Costco and K-Designers. Sorry you feel it was a bad experience our experience couldn't have been better!
Do your own research and consider your own home -- one word of caution though... this work is best left to professionals, I don't recommend trying to do it yourself.
I also would like to add that I'm able to see that I'm able to help blue my house by seeing the stuff in are house that we need to blue star as well. And I'm going to have the cars put the solar panel on the back of the car. And I'm going to have the Garage Door's with the solar panel to collect light from the sun as well and I'm going to put add this to the car. But first I have to prove myself by getting this company off the ground and proving that it was the protentail that I know that it has. I'm also going to learn my math well doing it. So I'm going to get a time clock and clock my time so I can get the measurements and figure out how to make a machine to help us with all the leads I'm going to get for us.
I would just like to say that I am in charge of selling this producted now and I believe that if you keep a cool envirement you are able to learn better. I have sold this before and I would like to say if you believe in something. You would want a report as to the product. So you can see that you where right with your thoughts on it. And what I'm going to bring to it is that I want to learn from the people that I'm putting this in there house's. I like to learn about alot of different things. I'm learning to help green the earth by installing it.
I think its a great product! If you are going to look into having this installed in your home, you should look into what installation is best for your home depending on climate. There are options depending on the construction of your home.
As far as the 25% savings, If you get it the first year why would you not continue to save? Energy costs rise every year you should be paying less than people without the product.
employee manner
After checking out all my groceries at the cashier and since I handed out my husband's card, they cashier woman has no hospitality at all in approching the customer by telling me that I supppose to get my husband by the cashier since it was his card. Another supervisor approched had no different with that woman at the cashier. Is this the way Costco aproaching the customer, only in rough way?
Then from the day on I will spend my groceries money at BJ's instead.

I don't understand how they were doing anything wrong. They told you company policy. Did they say something specific?
wouldn' let me make a purchase!
I'm 17 years old and I had my eyes on a certain item from Costco for my parents for Christmas. This item was about $300 with tax, and me and my younger brother were going split the price so that we could surprise them on Christmas day (it's a pretty expensive item, but we really wanted to show them some appreciation!) Anyway, my mom is the Costco card owner in our household, so I had to borrow it from her to get in there. I drove there (about 45 minutes, a pretty big drive) And got in successfully with my mothers card. I picked up the item and went straight to the till. The cashier asked if it was my mother's card, and I fessed up :P. Then she informed me that not only could buy anything without my mother being present, but she even had to PAY FOR IT, if I wanted to buy something. I explained that it was a present, the cashier said, re-emberce her after she pays!
Hmm, lets think... "Hey mom, can you pay for your christmas present now? oh hey surprise 3 months in advance. That'll be $300, Ill pay you back later mom!"
Jeeze! I offered to call my mom so she could speak to them and okay the transaction, fax them her ID to confirm it was her on the phone, I had my ID out to prove that I had her last name, whatever I could do to accomodate them, but nope. I also explained that I was 17, so it's not like they would even let me have my OWN card, what am I supposed to do? Finally I told them they just lost a $300 sale and walked out (I guess I wan't even supposed to be in there in the first place, without my own card!)
It makes me angry that first of all you have to pay to have a stupid card to even walk inside their store, otherwise you are not good enough to see the "wonders of Costco." Furthermore, I can't even be a cardholder my self if I WANTED TO, because I'm not old enough! Kind of a no wim situation (Not that i would want to pay $50 for a piece of plastic i'm going to use once!)
Too bad Costco, you just lost a sale, I'm going somewhere else for sure, where the public is allowed into the store without an exspensive piece of plastic!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
whack! that cashier was an idiot. You should ask a friends mom if she can do it for you.
membership policy
For years I have been purchasing products for my work, on my personal Costco card. I have the Executive Membership so I get rewards, and I share with my card with my mom. I usually ask for two receipts so I can get reimbursed at work.
A few weeks ago, I was told that I cannot do this anymore, it is against Corporate Policy to give two receipts, and they made a really big deal about it. I said I would just go through the line twice, and be done with it. They said they would do it for me "this time" but it would be the last. I said, fine, next time I need two receipts I will just go through twice.
Tonight when I went to Costco, there was a hold on my account. I had to be taken aside and told about the policy again. Give me a break! How ridiculous can you be Costco. We have a membership at my work, so it is not like I am using the membership and your not getting the money. I have my executive membership - which is 100.00 and a work Membership - which is another 50.00 - We spend literally 2, 000 - 5, 000.00 per year at your stores, some years more...and your going to stop me and scold me about wanting two receipts occasionally! How ridiculous can you be...I am not stealing from you, and I don't appreciate being treated like a thief and a child.
Unfortunately, you do have good prices and products, so I will still shop at your store, HOWEVER, I will do my best to get as much as possible from Cash & Carry, and local stores - I am really tired of your "policies"!
I went there today during my lunch hour and during the Christmas rush. I have had a card from work for months and have never been questioned about it before but today in a hurry the guy refused to let me use the card because it has a co-worker's name on tjhe back. Funny thing is that I have used it many times at this same store and today in the middle of a real rush the jack hole decides I can't use the card. I will never go back to the Eugene Costco again. I think they should have one policy and stick to it not allow 2 receipts one day then change the next or allow someone to repeatedly use a card they have been given at work to all of a sudden deny a purchase. They are very rude there and inconsistent. It I were you I would not shop there.
I had the same experience. I told the cashier I wanted a copy of a reciept and she said she can't do that anymore so I asked her why and she said it's their policy and they were told to do that from the company. I didn't make any big deal out of it and said okay because I respect store policies. I think it's all perspective. There are definitely other ways to work it out to get a copy of a reciept. Customers think that they can get what they want by complaining. Complaining doesn't get you around but it just makes yourself and people around you unhappy.
card fraud
They send you inserts in the bill whereby you pay a nominal shipping fee and you get an item shipped you as a reward.
I got charged for a Food and Wine magazine for $36.00. The way this fraud works is - they charge this amount knowing most people won't detect the charge or ask for a refund. I am suprised that a well known company like Costco is a party to this.
Small print: There may be some small print in the material I got in the m ail that may show that is consumer at fault. This complaint may not pertain to Costco - rather American Express or some third party.
never received my rebate
I upgraded a cell phone at Costco and received a form for a $50 rebate to be sent inti Stuart Lee Rebates. I have never received the $501 and can no longer find the web site.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Never received my rebate! Mailed in everything... Paid every bill on time! Seems as tho they have a reputation for doing this. Terrible service.. Why is there no phone number?! Ridiculous! Costco stop using them!
I can`t believe in Stuart Lee i also upgraded my phone at Costco and return my rebate agreement and receipt i never received any money back!
I upgraded my phone through verizon at Costco.Stuart Lee sent me a HD Media Dock because he didnt have the correct Navagation dock to fit my Razr model phone. I want the correct dock due me.Costco reps told me truth about everything . Stuart Lee need to send correct items or wait til its in stock to send rebates.Your apology is not accepted!
I can't believe it. I also upgraded my phone through costco and the same thing happen but worst. The associates at costco lied to me. He said that I will receive the rebate through my verizon account and when I called verizon they didn't have a clue of what I was talking about. I am so p.o Costco shouldn't allow this people to do any sales in their premises because it hurts their reputation. I never received any money back and it is too late now. Please guys, don't up grade anything through costco
Stuart Lee has a website designed to take care of customer concerns. They have been in business for 16 years. They area very credible business. They only process rebates. the retailers they work for authorize or decline all rebates they receive. They have no control over who gets denied. Give them a break they are honest people. I know, I worked there for years. great company.
