I visited Costco today to put in a prescription for Narco. I am a senior citizen who had a failed back surgery which left me crippled. Recently I was diagnosed with Lymphoma and am currently under treatment. I am very sick and weak because of this and live in Ojai which is far from Oxnard. It is very difficult for me to drive that distance to drop off my prescription and come back the next day or so when it is ready.I have no support system and cannot afford a taxi to go that distance. I am too ill to wait there for the time it takes to get the prescription ready. Today I asked David Yerby the pharmacist if I could leave the prescriptions there so that I did not have to come back and make an extra trip. I know the policy for these kinds of drugs is very strict but I was asking for some special assistance. He basically wouldn't give me the time of day and just waved me off. I started to cry and told him my doctor would re-write the prescription and put specific instructions or whatever he needed to protect Costco's policy and liability. He was rude and just not interested. I also asked for a chair as I cannot stand for more than a few minutes because of my disability. None was provided. David needs some detailed training in dealing with sick people. He is very cold and does not represent your store well particularly in this particular department. He is not selling cookies but dealing with various degrees of people who are suffering, infirm and dying. Thank you.
