Complete Hunter's Outlet I'm really disappointed with their warranty

I'm really disappointed with their warranty. They made me think that the repair would be included, so I brought the box to their authorized repair shop, but they charged me $131 for the strings and cable, which they don't cover. The string broke just a week after I bought it. It was clearly defective, and I could have gotten hurt badly. They should at least support their product when it's brand new. On the bright side, apart from the warranty problem, the bow is awesome, and the staff at the authorized dealer were nice and knew their stuff.

Complete Hunter's Outlet I ordered a TenPoint Vapor RS470 directly from TenPoint

I ordered a TenPoint Vapor RS470 directly from TenPoint. Order # *** for a total of $3059.99. I ordered from them 'cause I knew they'd take care of any issues and it wouldn't be a display or sitting around in a shop before I bought it. After getting the new crossbow, it took a few weeks before I could put it together and shoot it 'cause I was recovering from a back injury. While assembling, some parts were missing to mount the quiver, so I emailed TenPoint on July 30. They said they'd send the missing bolts. The quiver didn't hold arrows tightly, they came loose too easily when loading without it mounted. Also, I couldn't mount the bubble level where it was supposed to go, had to move it. Maybe 'cause of the scope ring placement, not a big deal. I didn't need the quiver to shoot, so I took it to the range to sight in the scope. More problems there, scope was blurry with a fish eye look, couldn't focus no matter what. The red illumination on the scope didn't work right, sometimes it wouldn't turn on while the green one did. The biggest issue was the acuslide/trigger box getting stuck when moving it down the barrel, happened half the time during the 10 shots I took. It wasn't getting stuck on anything visible, followed the directions to cock the crossbow and unwind 3 full turns after, last turn needed to press the gear release button. I watched all the videos and read the manual before shooting, so I knew what to do. Some videos showed pressing the gear release button, some didn't. The button never fully popped out and didn't feel like it fully depressed when I pushed it for the third back wind. I didn't know if that was normal or not, but I knew the acuslide/trigger box problem wasn't normal 'cause no one would buy a $3,000 crossbow with that issue. I emailed TenPoint again on July 30 and asked for an exchange 'cause of all the problems with this new one. They replied on July 31 saying they can't send a replacement without looking at this one. They sent me a link to videos on how the acuslide/trigger box works. I told them I already saw those videos and knew how to use it. I forwarded the email listing the problems to customer service supervisor and warranty department supervisor. I wasn't happy with all these problems on a new crossbow, but I made the 80-mile round trip to FedEx with the prepaid shipping label they emailed me and sent it to TenPoint for evaluation and exchange. I also mentioned I needed this crossbow for bear hunting in about 4 weeks. The return authorization was RA# 664446. I got a call from the service department on Aug 12 saying they agree the scope is bad and replaced it. They asked if I wanted them to sight it before sending it back, I said yes to speed up the process. Service couldn't duplicate the acuslide/trigger box problem in 6 shots, but offered to take a few more. I asked them to make sure it's tested and working properly since they're not replacing the crossbow. I got the crossbow back on Aug 14 and was able to mount the quiver with the missing hardware that was shipped while it was at TenPoint. The new scope was clear with no blurriness or fish eye effect. I emailed TenPoint on Aug 15 to let them know I got the crossbow back and assembled it without any issues and that the scope was clear. I also mentioned that service couldn't duplicate the problem and thought something might have loosened during shipping. I said I'd let them know if I had any more issues and thanked them for their help. On Aug 16, I went to the range again to sight in the scope at 20 yards. I also took my older TenPoint crossbow to compare noise since it seemed loud and had been sent in for repairs before. Now that I had them side by side, they were comparable in noise. The acuslide/trigger box got stuck 3 times and I wasn't happy about it. I emailed TenPoint on Aug 17 with an update about the continued acuslide/trigger box issue that couldn't be duplicated when I sent it in. I explained what was happening and that the gear release button didn't seem to work right. Bear hunting was about 2 1/2 weeks away and I hoped for a quick exchange for a new properly functioning TenPoint RS470 since it had already been in the shop once and it's brand new. On Aug 17, after emailing TenPoint, I took the crossbow to the woods to finish sighting in the scope at 40 yards and longer. Again, the acuslide/trigger box locked up 3 times in 15 shots. I took videos of the locked-up acuslide/trigger box, the gear release button that wouldn't pop out, and the proper procedure I was using and sent them in another email. The videos weren't the best quality, but clearly showed the stuck position(s) of the acuslide/trigger box and the gear release button not working right. On Aug 20, I got a reply from TenPoint saying the concerns were sent to the customer service manager and warranty department manager. They assured me they'd take care of it and make it right, and I'd get a reply once they hear back from the managers. On Aug 24, I got a reply saying they couldn't see what was happening in the videos I sent, even though I think the videos clearly showed the issues. They also replied to my question about the noise difference between this one and my older model. They gave me more instructions on how to properly use the acuslide/trigger box, which I already knew. What upset me the most is that they made it seem like the problem was my fault and not a defect in the crossbow. They didn't offer an exchange, just said I could send it in again if I wanted, but keep it for bear hunting 'cause it shouldn't be a problem. I was really upset that they wouldn't even offer to exchange this obviously defective, malfunctioning brand new crossbow that I bought directly from them. I replied on Aug 24 expressing my frustration and asking for an exchange. On Aug 25, I emailed the CEO of TenPoint to let him know about the problems and provided detailed emails of what's been happening with this new TenPoint RS470. I asked for his help in getting a simple exchange for a new one to replace my defective one that's already been sent in once. I got a brief email back from the CEO later that day saying he'd look into it on Aug 26. That was the last communication I got from anyone at TenPoint. I emailed the CEO 4 more times, Aug 26, Sept 7, Sept 10, and Sept 12 for any follow-up, but never got any replies. I've been patient, but with no response from TenPoint, I had no choice but to contact the ComplaintsBoard.com. I even mentioned in my last email that I'd have to take this step if I didn't hear back, but they ignored that email too.
