Whirlpool very poor cutomer service

In 2003 I bought a 230 litter fridge (Ice Magic) Till now (2009) it stopped working at least 9 times
Now my recent complaint numbers for this fridge are
GB0709001393 (no cooling)
GB0709004626 (again no cooling)
GB0709007734 (again no cooling)

Their customer service engineers are so inefficient/fraud that after above three complaints and in 20 days time they could not fix the problem.
initially they told me that the problem is just a gas blockage and will be fixed by replacing the gas
and they cost estimation was Rs 1125/- (225+900)
now they raised their hands and saying that we can fix it but you will have to pay 1500 more.

so the over all cost of fixing the problem has gone to 2625/-

If I pay 1500/- more then I am invetsing 2625/ on this 6 years old shi**i fridge.
I dont pay any thing then I have lost my 1125/- for nothing.
and they are not ready to return it.

The Opposite Party

Most Respectfully Showeth:

The complaint submits as under:-

1. Complainant has a whirlpool 230 liter single door fridge which was bought in 2003 so the fridge is out of warranty except its compressor.

2. Complainant fridge stopped cooling on July 03, 2009.

3. On July 04, 2009 complainant registered the complaint of no cooling in his fridge with the opposite party customer care center
a. Complaint number: GB0709001393
b. Opposite party engineer came and told that the gas of the fridge has been chocked and it needs replacement so will cost Rs. 1125/- and if the problem re-occurred within three month they will fix it for free. The complainant agreed on it.
c. On July 07, 2009 opposite party engineer came and fixed the problem by replacing the gas and took Rs 1125/- and gave the attached receipt.

4. But the problem of no cooling re-occurred within two days of repairing it.

5. On July 13, 2009 complainant registered the complaint again
a. Complaint number: GB0709004626
b. The opposite party engineer came to identify the problem and told that the gas was not filled properly and has been leaked so need the re-filling of gas.
c. On July 18, 2009 opposite party engineer came and re-filled the gas to fix the problem.
d. But this time the problem reoccurred within two hours.
e. The same engineer is informed again about the problem.
f. Engineer came and re-filled the gas to fix the problem.
g. But the problem re-occurred within two hours again.
h. Complainant informed about the problem to opposite party.
i. On July 20 opposite party sent another engineer to fix it. He again refilled the gas to fix the problem but this time also the problem reoccurred within two hours.

6. On July 23, 2009 complainant registered the complaint again
a. Complaint number: GB0709007734
b. This time opposite party engineer came and told that the gas is leaking from the freezer and they will have to replace the freezer which will cost additional Rs 1500/- .

7. The new estimate of Rs 2625/- is outside the complainant’s budget for repairing a six year old fridge. So he ask the opposite party to refund the money paid (Rs 1125/-) for repairing the fridge as he did not get any thing for the paid money.

8. Opposite party has left the fridge in the same condition as it was on July 03, 2009 but they have taken the money Rs 1125/- and neither ready to refund money nor ready to fix the problem.

9. Because of the above issues, complainant and his family members have faced and are facing lot of physical and mental pain.

10. The complaint therefore prays to get the following relief and honorable forum may kindly be pleased to pass the orders against the opposite parties.

a. Opposite party is to be ordered to fix the problem at their initial estimate or refund the money paid in advance.
b. The Opposite party is to be ordered to pay the Rs. 1 lac to the complainant as compensation against the financial losses, mental agony, harassment and legal expenses of the present case.
c. Any other relief as honorable forum deem fit in the form of compensation.

Whirlpool worst products & crap customer service

I had bought a Window AC from a dealer in Dwarka about a month and a half ago . My pain started the moment I switched over to Whirlpool from Hitachi ( Best AC company ) . Its been more then a month that no one ever visitied/called/cared to give me any demo . I had to got my AC installed from pvt mecahnics in the Area and they helped me understandning the junk mecahnics.

After a while I discovered that I was shown Elite model but sold Premier modle as said by the dealer that both are the same products.

Its not just only . My worst nightmare started 2 days back when my Brand New AC stopped working and for the last 2 days I'm praying to the god that it start working.

In continuation, I called up customer service as well but they said talk to the dealer and they can't help it. Also when I insisted them to take an action against the dealer and help get my money back the guy on the phone " GOPAL " this morning said Aap jara dhang sey baat kijiye and banged the phone on my face.

Please can some one help.

I bought Whirlpool washing machine before an year. The inlet water piper filter broke out. I log the complaint. Magicare (whirlpool service center) guy call me. I explain him the situation. He came to my home with Water pipe. He was quoting for that pipe worth rupees 680. He was also asking for 150 Rs. for fitting charges. I told him my machine is in warranty period how can you ask for fitting charges. The water pipe quality which he borrow with him was not good at all. I told I do not want to do fittings of the pipe which you bought. He told me if do not want to replace it then you have to pay me visiting charge 150 Rs. I told me my machine is in warranty period and you can not ask for visiting charge. Some how he agree with it. I bought the same Water pipe from market worth rupees 280 for which he was asking for 680 rupees. Magicare service is poor and they loot indian people.

i dont think so ...iam running service centre where i provide serivice to our customer within 24-48 hrs...
there somtimes i also feel that calls get delayed coz of the unavailabilty of spares
but iam surprised that it took 1 mth
well i cant think of any person who can wait for a mth to get his ac repaired
whereas talking about HITACHI
iam also the retailer of the same company and have seen customers suffuring buying hitachi
i dont say one is gud and the other is bad
but it can sometimes be ill illustrated

Whirlpool loud vibrating, crusty white spots

I purchased a whirlpool fridge model#etichexvtd june 2, 2009) freezer on top. a week later there was a loud noise when the fridge came on, later on it was a loud vibrating noise. there is a white crusty film over the bottom of the freezer and when the freezer door is opened the white stuff drips on the floor, there is also white crusty deposits close to the rubber gasket on the fridge door.

The repairman called whirlpool and they in return called me suggesting I take the fridge back and get another one. the repairman told me he'd been out servicing 3 whirlpool's exactly like mine, same model for the same problem. I asked him what the best brand is and he said the samsungs are probably the best. I had a g. e. for 22 years without a problem, wish I had it back!

I've purchased whirlpool washers and dryers for the past 20 years without a problem! what is wrong with all the refrigerator's?! I don't know what to do, I know the replacement will not last, guess i'd better spend $99.00 and get an extended warranty!

Whirlpool can't be trusted

Be careful out there. It seems as if Whirlpool offers rebates on washer dryers and if something happens with the submission, they tell you that its too late to submit it a second time unless you respond really quickly. The Whirlpool agent told me that there is an expiration date on all rebates, even though customers submitted them properly and were lost at Whirlpool. I asked her how anyone other than employees and those shafted by Whirlpool are supposed to know this. Her only response "All rebates have expiration dates" Sounds like the IRS to me. If you submit a rebate, watch it like a hawk because Whirlpool will use this lame exCuse to back out of their obligation. My cost was $200.

Whirlpool customer service

A&E Customer Repair Service is awful! I have had multiple visits to my home to have my Whirlpool Duet washer fixed. There technical analysis of possible problems with my washer was terrible. I might as well throw darts at the washer to guess where the problem is next. I have had to pay over $600 for repairs to this washer...and it still does not work. I feel as though I'm being ripped off. Every time I have called to schedule an appointment with A&E I'm given a 4 hour block to wait for a service repairman, which I believe is pretty standard. But then the day of service comes and 3 times they have changed the time to expand the possible service arrival time to a 9 hour wait. Great, just what I wanted to do - spend 8 to 5 on a Saturday waiting for a repairman! They offer no apologies, discounts or refunds.

Why am I going with A&E? Well, I bought my washer and dryer at HH Gregg and this is the company that they recommend in my city. I thought I had an investment and relationship with the company, but all I have after a month of repairs is a ton of dirty laundry and a broke washer. I have called and complained to HH Gregg corporate as well.

I have asked to talk to a A&E technical manager, customer service states that the technical manager will call me back - but he never does. I have asked to talk to the A&E corporate office. The A&E customer service agent in Columbus (Jenifer) refuses to give me a name, phone number or e-mail address to their corporate office. All I get is a mailing address. Thanks A&E; this really shows you care about me and my issues. I look forward to hearing from my letter in 5 to 10 business days, if you respond at all! I will never buy another product that is linked to A&E!

Whirlpool defective range/dangerous

in september of 01 I moved into a appartment complex in Deerfield Illinois. Right after i moved in the manager was notified by me that there was a continuous scent of gas from the range. I called the gas co. and they DC forever saying it was dangerous and unsafe to repair. EIGHT months i had no stove and finally he put in another, exactly the same! Right away the same issue, and I was blamed again for doing something wrong...
A repair man from whirlpool repair service did make a house call and did nothing at all..though they clame to have never been here. I am unsure when that was and who. In august of 2007 I was called home by the fire dept. The city block was blocked off because of the ranges gas leak. I called the company the next day, but now my brother owned the unit and we had no proof of purchase. They were rude and I hung up. My oven has remained a shelving unit for pans not used and hanging rags from colorfully. It was never replaced or repaired. I felt that I had no options and then I got laid off after 6 years, my car was unrepairable and had trouble finding a job so I could not afford another range.
After years my mother also is close to passing away and now I am concerned about the dinner after the funeral. I have no place to cook food.
SO I CALLED JAMIE AT SAFETY DIVISION OF WHIRLPOOL. I tried to explain the urgency now and that a lawyer, mr. birndorf, felt that since the equiptment is dangerous it is there place to replace it with a safer style.
So Jamie had the repair co. come out and that was just like before except so many parts were defective and now out of stock. They asked me to pay 150.00 and they would replace it for me. In other terms pay there cost.
I am not going to do that, i already did not sue them for the window that was ruined when FD broke in to save my dogs in 07!
I obviously have made mistakes, my mother's illness and being out of work as over shadowed my choices. That is my fault. I am ashamed that they don't feel the need to help me. The ranges should be recalled or investigated since i had 2 in a row with exact issues.

Whirlpool recieving broken appliances

After being approved for a washer & dryer and delivered friday afternoon the delivery man hooked it all up and the washer would not turn on. I have requested a new set of appliances, but not in stock so, they have been ordered and they will not be in for atleast 3 weeks. they bring me another washer and I put in a wash and after the cycle has completed I can not open the door it is locked. I am to be at a graduation for my son and I have to go to the washateria in order to have the clothes my husband & i want to wear well it cant be opened. I call after i get back home at about 10:30, i ask to talk to the person that took my order hes can not come to the phone and the store manager is out. I ask for one of them to call and no return call. I call again at about 2:30 and ask to talk to one of them again and still no one can talk to me. The person that answers the phone said that they would put in a service order and would try to be at my home between 4-5. Once again I ask fro a courtsey call back and the store manager calls at about 3:30 and tells me it will be about another 30 minutes or so. Ok what can i say but be patient. I understand it's not his own personal appliance and that he is apogetic, but now he can not open the washer, so he can't get my 6-7 towels out, they go with the washer. I on the other hand have to borrow towels until next week when the service guy comes in to work on the washer. So, i'm on my third washer and out of my towels. My complaint is not on the sales person or the store manager for they can't control whether the appliance works but, my complaint is if the used appliances are in this bad shape why will it take 3 weeks for a new set of machines and being out of my towels. Whirlpool machine doesn't

To Whom IT May Concern (CEO),
I have called on numerous occasion that my washer doesn't work. They have picked up and brought a loaner and that one was having the same problems. My washer has been taken five times. They have did nothing about it. Every time I said I will call the CEO because the manager has got smart with me they said that they would bring one out all I have to is pick one out and I picked one out and I'm still getting the run around. Yes I have been late with some of my payment but I ususally put a big amount on it and then wait and come back late. But they have gotten their payment. I guess because I'm black my business don't count. I'm am asking you to fine out for me what is the next step. I will put it in the paper how I have been treated. I will email this to Magic Johnson since he response to all my emails of how we are being treated in this Moreno Valley Store. I have alway been nice to them and I think I deserve the same kind of treatment if I was one of the white customers. I have always like Rent of Center and I shouldn't have to take my business out side the city I live in.

I am sri soumya ranjan sahoo, living in orissa bhubaneswar I am using almost all your product from last 5 years. I have purchased a whirlpool patinum window wawr18g30 | 1.5 ton platinum model on 07-04-2009, from rajpath moters bhubaneswar, after installation of a. c it's found that the front grill of a. c is not properly set, then I call back to authorized service people from whirlpool service center, they came and attain the call and try to adjust the cabinet but instead of solving the problem they damaged the cabinet and front panel grill of my brand new ac.

So I need urgently to replace of both cabinet of the ac and front grill

I am writting this mail because your authorized service people, not properly attain my grievances.

So I am requesting to you kindly look after this matter from top leavel to solve my problem as fast as possible.

Whirlpool dissappointed with products

I am dissapointed with the Whirlpool prodects we have. We moved into a new home 4 years ago. The home had brand new Whirlpool appliances - double oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. First the double oven went out in less than a year. A repairman came out and repaired it because it was under warranty. I believe they installed a new thermal fuse. It lasted until a couple weeks before Easter and the stove went out a second time. We called Whirlpool (We had a certified electrician who stated the part number of the part needed for that stove by the diagram on the stove. The person on the other end said that part number did not match what the manufacturer had in stock. In other wise there is no such part. Since our friends could not get the part needed, disconnected the broken oven so we could use the good one. Also we almost had a fire in the house. The element kept getting hotter (whiter). I turned the breaker box off and the oven started to cool down. The double overn broke down three times in 4 years.
2) We had a Whirlpool dishwasher. It broke after 3 years and we had to get another one. We bought an industrial washer (KitchenAid). In less than a year the motor went out on it. Did Whirlpool buy out KitchenAid? My point is in three years the Whirlpool dishwasher had to be replaced.
3) We also own a Whirlpool refrigerator/ freezer, side by side. First the freezer went out and then the refrigerator stopped working. We had someone come in and he said the relay went out in it. We had a friend do it because we were told the warranty expired on the refrigerator and it cost us $100 just to have one of your servicement come out, so we had a friend look at the refrigerator. The frigde works fine now.
My point in this is we have three Whirlpool products and three of them broke down. I realize things will break down, but in this short of time? We owned a used stove when we married in 1979 and had it until 2004. The only thing we had to do on it is replace the heating element. One or two of the burners did not work, but they broke after the year 2000. We are very disappointed in your products.
We did not feel Whirlpool was a great help to us when we called and asked for help. We will probably get other products other than Whirlpool.

Whirlpool stay away from them

I asked Whirlpool for replacement part for my range/stove and was informed that it would cost me $484.00 plus $69 for special handling. This is blackmail and highway robbery combined. They gave me a clear message that they do not want to support spare part end of their business and now I have no choice but to buy from a non-American company that honors their obligation properly. And this is not the only such incident with our Whirlpool products. Previously we have had problems with their washers and dryers and received shoddy response from them.

I highly recommend people to stay away fro Whirlpool products. Period.

You were probably ordering a glass cooktop which normally cost anywhere from $200 - $500, plus tax + S&H, which is probably the "Special Handling" fee you were talking about. Oh and blackmail is when someone has proof that you did something you didn't want anyone to know and they make you follow through with a request to keep them from saying anything. This is not a case of blackmail, if you do not want to pay the S&H go to a local parts distributor. Stop complaining about dumb issues like this.

Whirlpool scratched up and does not work properly

I purchased a front loader washer and dryer from rent a center in Ironton Ohio under the conditions that they were in good shape. Well it took them 3 days to find a washer and they found it at the ashland ky store. I specifically asked them to make sure that they were in good shape. Because they claimed that they did not have new ones. And i want to buy them not just rent them. Well of course they did not have new ones so they claimed that these were in good shape. B-4 they even got off the truck...i called because they were scratched up all to pieces and also had big dents in the dryer! They stated to me that they would look for more but they are not carrying this product no more. But they stated to me that they have new ones on the Cabrios front loaders and they would see what they can do./As to my surprise they were going to be double! on the price of what i was already paying! i explained to them that I want to eventually buy them and i do not want someone else's problems! Well I have contacted customer svc to no avail and never got a call back! So I spoke to the salesman again today and he stated that the GM will not let me have the new Cabrios for the same price or a little more than I was paying... so I told them that to come and get these cause i am not going to have something that does not work like it is supposed to and the washer will not ring out properly and the dryer is knocking on the top of the drum! It is not my fault that these are abused by other people b-4 I got them and I should not have to have someone elses problems! They should go ahead and honor the Cabrios to me since the advertisement states they the merchandise is new! And I will certainly tell others not to go there to get their merchandise because they do not back up their word on nothing!

Whirlpool waranty renewal scam

I purchased a whirlpool washing machine in the year 2007. Upon having my repair issue's & purchasing a waranty renewal agreement, (after the repurchase) I was then informed that I wouldn't be able to use the service due to other administrative details.

I called whirlpool's hot line for customer service, only to find very rude unconsiderate sales person's with little or no regard to customer service. The only human response I was to encounter that day was very rude man with small concern for a paying customer. I was literally hung up on twice, & not until I insisted on a refund was I given any decent response for my concern at all. The same man who hung up on me had the odassity to insinuate that as a costomer of whirlpool I hadn't had the comprehensive ability to use my warantty information in the correct manner, (as if there is actually a correct way) and that was actually why I was having problem scheduling service.

I am very disgustd with the experience I was forced to endure & I hope that anyone else who has had the same problem will benifit from this copmlaint.

This complaint was filed to the wrong company. Whirlpool does not sale any ESP, the company that handles the "Whirlpool and Kitchenaid extended service agreement" is handled by a company called AON, I've never heard of an issue like that, if you could post the phone number you called and I'll check if it's actually AON or not. Please do not file a complaint until you're sure you know who you're speaking about.

Whirlpool month past warranty oven quit working

January 26, 2008 we purchased a Whirlpool Built-in convection oven. Cost 1500.00. February 26, 2009 oven quit working. Have been trying to get assitance and/or answers from Whirlpool techs. But since my 1 year warranty has expired they don't even want to waste their time talking with me. Other than to tell me I should have purchased the extended warranty. Well maybe I should have, but after spending 15oo.oo for what I thought was a superior product I expected the oven to last longer than this. Especially since the Oven that was replaced was 30 yrs old (Fridgeaire) and was still working (never had a problem, didn't even replace the elements) - I just wanted to update. Bad mistake. Anyways what happened with this new oven (garbage) was the Thermal fuse failed. This is a tiny tiny part, made of aluminium and a coupla small wires (not complicated at all - probably cost 2 or 3 dollars in materials to make) so I go to Sears canada in Halifax (Parts store) and they sell me the replacement part for $85.oo) Here I am ripped off for the second time. "Fool me once - Shame on you Fool me twice - Shame on me" Good words to live by for sure. Anyways all that being said I am glad that I have had this happen when it did as I am now looking to purchase a new washer and dryer and had, up to this point, planned on purchasing the Whirlpool front loading W&D - But now I know better. You think you're spending big bucks to get a high quality product, but this is certainly not the case with whirlpool, all they have is the big price tag, and they forget the "high quality" part of the deal. One thing I hope comes out of this recession is that these manufacturers (who don't have any or very poor customer service) (take a look at GM and learn from their mistakes) won't be around for long, they are ripping off the very people they need in order to survivie. Please please reconsider before purchasing any Whirlpool product.

Whirlpool - door cracking

The door frame cracked around the front of the microwave door and ran down underneath the door front, to the back of the seal. I bought this at Lowe's and purchased the extended warranty for 4 years. Whirlpool non recognition of extended service plan & subsequently charging for repair

I have purchased whirlpool washing machine 6th Sense, Model no.7230 on 07.04.04 bearing sl. no.INB040303429 from Pramanik Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. Haldia Township Haldia-721607 . It has 2 years warranty plan, i have also taken 3 years additional peace of mind service plan so in totality 5 years warranty plan which will be valid upto 06.04.09. But at Gandhidham Authorised service centre has charged me Rs2400/- for repair on 19.01.09 & not recognizing 3 years Additional peace of mind plan Reg. Form no. CPO4, sl no. 157244 issued at Haldia. kidly help me so that my 3 years additional peace of plan may be recognised at Gandhidham service centre & i could get back repair charges .

I've purchased Whirlpool refrigerator F410 Proton Dlx -Duet Black on 11-May-2011. Within 5 months the product has issues with cooling so we reported a complaint on 21-Oct-2011 at the shop: SHREEJI ELECTRONICS & SERVICE STATION (U9, Shiromani Complex, Opp. Ocean Park, Nehrunagar, Ahmedabad-15, Ph: [protected])

A service person came the next day who opened the compressor and confirmed that its faulty and shutdown the whole refrigerator making the problem worst for our home. Since that day we’ve only be fooled by various Whirlpool authorities. They’ve committed to replace the compressor, replace the product, provide a standby refrigerator, etc…

But till date there has been no resolution of this dispute and we’re suffering for our daily needs and bearing the distortion of frozen food. None of the following contacts will attend the phone:

Whirlpool Washing Machine

I had registered a complaint with the customer care on 27th June 2009. One if the service engineers from Bangalore visited after 2 days and informed that some parts have to be replaced and some other engineer would visit. Since then, till date I have been calling almost everybody at your customer care and at your Bangalore office. The response from everybody is very very poor. I escalated the issue to one Mr.Anand who the the team leader. He had assured me that he would call back and ensure that the call is attended. He neither called nor any development took place.

I even called the Branch Manager at your Bangalore office (Mr.Ashwin). He again assured me and later started avoiding my calls. He I called him several times and he does not receive my calls.

With this washing machine being faulty, it has been a real convinience to us at our home. We have completely lost faith in Whirlpool products. This is really very disappointing to mention that Whirlpool's services and the response is so very poor.

Whirlpool poor quality and worst customer service

We bought a whirpool slide-in range model wgy397lxub0 at an authorized retail store in mid november 2017. we received it by the end of november and we took it out of the box to check for any visible damage and there was none. we had it installed by a qualified technician after the new kitchen cabinets where in place in the begining of decembre 2017. it worked nicely during x-mas and new years eve seasons. then on january 12th, 2017, I had a misshap, I guess it can be called a fairly regular kitchen accident. I dropped a stainless steel ladle! as I grabbed and turn around I accidentally hit the frameless template glass door with the cuppart of the ladle. surprise: the glasss crumbled into thousands of tiny little pieces as I stood there in disbelief. after all a kitchen appliance shoul whistand that kind of accidents.

We inmediately called whirpool customer support center [protected] which is the only option we have over here, since we cannot request assistance online. they told us to call an authorized whirpool service and warranty shop: servimag. so we did, and to our surprise, the service rep told us that they did not had the replacement part on hand, that if it ordered from whirpool it could take up to 6 months to get it. we complained, because that is a fairly new model in venezuela, so he told us that we should call whirpool customer support center (again). to make a long story short, we spent most of last week, even on saturday, touring all known to us whirpool retailers to try to get help.in a couple of the stores they explained to us that that glass must have been suffering from material stress or fatigue, which wasn't visible because it's not suppose to break like that by the accident. so they recommended we call for the warranty, and that that was perhaps a faster way to get the problem fixed.

On monday january 19th we called again to whirpool customer support [protected] and our call was taken by a mr. ramses piña who, to our dismay told us that he did not beleive our account of the fact (as to avoid the warranty). we told him that if that was so, we just wanted to get the part to purchase it and have replaced, but he told us again that we should call the the whirpool authorized service shop (again servimag), so we did once again. but the answer was again the same. the manager told us that he will get back to us and tell us how soon could we get the part. we are still waiting for the call.

Meanwhile, I have been trying to purchase the replacement part (its comprised of three pieces) onlie. but whirpool, or any part dealer in the us ships outside the us.

In sum, poor quality of product, aand even worst customer support service or response from whirpool.

They start to make washing mashines, and not only those, to fail after the quaranty is out. Many people have the same problem with this company. The electronic memory fails to work and to fix it they charge 60% from how much I paid for it when was new.. It is a very good deal for them now, but I hope that on a long run they will lose many customers because I already shared my experience with many of my friends. I'm sorry because I didn't open my eyes earlier.

I purchased Whirpool 410 lts DLX refrigrator few months back. There is water draining out from behind. Company's service personnel told me that this is normal in these seasons (Rainy).
Is that so? If yes, then what is the use of taking frost free when i need to clean up manualy.
Nothing has been told by their dealer (Nayyar Electronics, Pitampura Delhi) while purchasing this product.
Nothing has been done about it till date.

One more thing, as recommended by your service professional, I purchased voltage stabilizer also from them. It is not functioning from last 3 weeks and nothing has been done till date.

Unreliable quality products-they make money over and over due to poor quality products replacement
I purchased a whirlpool microwave gmh6185xvb1 9/29/2017 at lowe's and the main part that makes the unit work the magnetron and diode went out and was replaced on 5/19/2017 by a&e services. the same thing has happened again in march of 2017.
I am also have a problem with the door on my refrigerator making a clicking noise every time opened and closed.
I did my homework and checked the products on consumer reports prior to purchasing-rated high quality and reliability. the warranty is for one year. the parts come form china and are not worth the time to put them in. as consumers we are being scammed by the builders of expense appliances-replacement needed due to poor quality.-they get rich and we pay again and again. it is time to stand up and change things for all.

I bought an expensive whirpool refrigerator in july 2017, by november 2017 we have to call for repair 4 times. Their customer service is absolutely unacceptable, he kept arguing with me the problem is they called a & e services company and that company didn't do a good job of repairing the freaky fridge that they made. Yes, it is a & e corporation 's fault, not whirpool's fault! Of course, it got to be someone's fault and none of them is theirs.

Everytime the service people come to fix it, I have to spend the whole day seating around the house waiting for them, for that fridge, I missed work 4 times in 4 months!

I have approached the customer care several times to get my washing machine serviced. For the first time the service engineer could not open a screw and charged me INR 760 for home visit . He came in evening and struggled till night.Finally he gave up and assured me that he will come back again the next day. It has been 7 days since then and i have been calling the customer support team in india but so far nobody turned back. These guys simply charged exorbitant amount only for guest visit at home even if they are unable to repair the machine. Worst post sales service. Never recommend any body to go for whirpool.

i had bought the whirlpool mastermind double door fridge but after 2 to 3 months .the vegetables, milk, wheat gives foul smell after putting it into fridge and now a day we put wheat(aata)in fridge it is not possible to make chapatti and wheat gets damaged
please change this fridge we had bought it from trishul agency, hardwar please change fridge as soon as possible

Whirlpool bad circuit board

My problem started off the same... lights flickering and buzzing noise, and when I removed all the lightbulbs the display would come back on and the buzzing would stop. I tested all the bulbs and replaced the one that was burnt out. The lights started flickering and the buzzing noise persisted. The noise and the lights finally stopped for good, after about 10 minutes of fuzzing with it. The next day I came home from work to find out that the entire frig/freezer had shut down and everthing was defrosting. It would not have been so devastating if my chest freezer hadn't quit two weeks earlier.

After reading many postings on the web, I discovered this is a common problem with Whirlpool's side by side frig/freezers. Why hasn't Whirlpool done a recall? This is poor workmanship, plain and simple. What should have been a simple lightbulb change has turned into... replacing a circuit board...replacing spoiled food and time missed from work. I bought a Whirlpool thinking I was buying the best. What a joke.

We have a two year old whirlpool side by side. Have to pay almost 300 bucks to replace the computer circuit board as it is not cooling as it should. Lost food. Lightning probably caused it, but some refrigerators don't have them which would be a good thing. Hated putting that money in to something that probably will mess up again. Next time, no computer in the one I buy. Very disappointed in Whirlpool.
