Wendy’s dropped my food, and then handed it to me!

I was on a long trip to Montana, and I decided to get some coffee for the trip and stopped at Wendy's in Enumclaw. I ordered a coffee, and the fries sounded good, so I ordered them too. I decided to just stand and wait for my fries, and I saw the fry gal put them in a bag and hand them to the counter girl, who dropped the sack on the floor. Then she just bent over, picked it up, and walked toward me as if to hand me my food. I was appalled! I informed her that you do not serve food to customers after you just dropped it on the floor, and that she should know better than that. The fry gal basically acted like it as an imposition to remake some fries and informed me that it would be a few minutes to wait. BFD, my other option was to accept food they had just dropped on the floor! I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!

Wendy’s bad emploers

I was hired at this Wendy's in Oct. of 2010. At this Wendy's as I began to work there I noticed attitudes that I don't approve of so I tryed to keep my distance. I cleaned my station and cook the products as I was trained by previous managers being that I'e worked for the company before. As I showed my work work ethics, almost immediately they started to try to take advantage of me. I dealt with it until just befor Christmas when I dicided that I was going to leave there being that I had moved further away from the job and the trip was becoming to costly. I was asked to work the rest of the week out which I worked that Monday night to hear constant complaining by the GM for no reason of what so ever and that she had misplaced $200. I at that point made it my point to stay away from the office and all drawers ( which I do anyway do to constant monetary issues). I at that point decided that I will not return because I don't want to be in the middle of that kind of stuff. I did not return to work and when I went to pick up my last check everything was fine. All of a sudden a rumor had risen from a family member that they was told that the GM in which I was working for that night had told her boss that I stole the money. I called and asked another manager who stated that she never heard this even though this family member was approached by other managers about the situation. I never worked with their money before and always declined the opportunity when I was approached. I never be around anywhere their money is collected or stored and every manager in the store know this. I don't appreciate being lied on in any such way, even if I dont work there. Also this place is unorganized and they play the favorites game. They will try to overwork you when they need help but will cut your hours drastically afterwards and will have you drive from out of town to try to work you for 3 hours if you let them. They have a horrible management set up pitiful .

Wendy’s new frys suck

I just had to get this off my chest. To everyone making things smaller, and charging the same and thinking no one will notice. Shame on you. For the one's changing the taste SHAME, SHAME, on you. Wendy's french fry's use to be so good, now they have no taste and I'm sorry to say I will never go back there until they change them back to the way they were.

I love their new fries. The only thing I miss from Wendy's is their waffle fries - they taste just like curly fries but they discontinued them many years ago.

Everyone I know had thought that their old fry's were the worst you could get anywhere. I think the new fry's are a lot better. Then again, who cares about opinions. I'm sure Wendy's won't go out of business if you stop eating there.

Wendy’s bad service, bad food, bad restaurant

So today i went to the Wendy's Located in Amherst, NY on Maple. After a long day of school, i really had the taste for Wendy's. So when i walk in i'm the third person in line, not unusual, but the time it actually took me to get my food was rediculous. I was standing there for at least 10 minutes waiting. The lady had to yell in the bad multiple times in order for them to make one sandwich, and the restaurant wasnt even busy. So when i get my food, they forgot to give me bbq sauce, which is acceptable, but when i got homw and started eating the food is what really got me aggravated. I ordered 2 5 piece chicken nuggets, and all 10 chicken nuggets that i got tasted like theyve been sitting there for hours, they were also real chewy. So i got to eat the fries and at the beginning they tasted good, but as i got down to the middle of them, i gound a couple pieces of hair, which was discusting. I dont know if that particular restaurant was understaffed, had a loack off communication or had incopitent workers, but i do know that i will never go there again.

So my fiancé and I went to the Wendy's in Owensboro ky on hwy 54... And I have never experienced such a bad experience in a resturaunt in my life! The lady taking orders(and if I new her name she would be fired) was yelling and screaming at emplyees even at a mentally challenged young employee. She sure didn't hesitate to show her stress to the customers. I was very uncomfortable for her to take my order and even eat there! She made all the customers there uncomfortable not just me. The entire dinning room was silent except for whispers of everyone talking about how rude she was. We even called the actually resturaunt to complain and they hung up! I hope somethings done about this and until then we refuse to eat there!

Wendy’s - Rotten food - bad customer service

I received this rotten/smelly tomato (see attached picture) on my breakfast Panini. The funny thing is that I asked for no tomatoes. I snapped a picture of it and posted it on their Facebook page. At that point I was merely trying to show them what they were serving. I got a notification that someone 'liked' my comment, I click on it and I get a page is not...

Wendy’s salt /hair nets

I placed and order for two combo fish meal and two chili and as I waited for it to be field the manager of the afternoon mid-evening shift was on the french fry station and proceded to sprinkle salt on the fries using this large dispensor to salt the fries and it released about a box of salt onto the fries I didn't say anything at the time thinking maybe my eyes was playing tricks on me . But when I got home and sat down to eat the fries were so salty and then I tasted the chili and the same result, salty. I like Wendy's but that's just not right . Suggestion maybe down size that salt shaker and pay a little more attention when adding salt to the food . #2 And the whole time I was there I realized no one had on any head covering but everybody had longggggg hair what's that all about isn't that like a know brainer...

Wendy’s salads are disgusting

I bought a Cobb salad from Wendy's today at lucnh, the advertisements that I seen on TV and on the billboards make them look very appetizing. Such is NOT the case, my salad had brown wilted lettuce, 1 peice of bacon and 2 small slivers of chicken in it. I have never seen such horrbile looking lettuce before - I mean how could anyone have let that salad go out the door...it ended in my trash can - what a waste of $6.40 !

Wendy’s terrible service

After our order was rang up incorrectly (I am a vegetarian and ordered a sandwich w/ no meat), we communicated the inaccuracy to the associate at the second window, Asst Manager Michelle, who appeared extremely agitated upon our arrival. Rather than correcting the issue, Michelle argued w/ us about what we ordered. After the correction was made we pulled ahead to check our order. At that point we noticed the order was still incorrect. I went inside and requested Michelle, the assistant manager, specifically. After refusing to address me for several minutes, Michelle came to the front counter. Another associate was already fixing the sandwich but I had concerns with my receipt. Michelle then went to the back and kicked a bucket across the kitchen and yelled, "This is ###". She then returned with a different receipt and said we had been given the wrong one and that we had in fact not been mischarged. This was all done in an extremely argumentative tone. In summary, my order was incorrect, we were given the wrong receipt, and I was addressed in a very unprofessional manner. I do not expect 5star service at a fast food place; however, her language and demeanor were out of line.

Wendy’s breakfast at wendy's

This morning I went through the drive up window for some breakfast since I was starving. I was just going to have the potatoes but I needed some eggs. I get to my work which is litterally down the street and my eggs were frozen cold and the bacon was raw and grease was pouring off of it. The only thing that was edible was the potatos. I will NEVER eat at Wendy's again. I have been served a RAW burger at another Wendys too, this just about does it for me.

how can the bacon be raw, yet have grease pouring over it?

while i feel for you that you shouldnt have to deal with that, it is wendy's and it is breakfast - at that. cant expect much these days...

if you want eggs, dont order them from any fast food place as you are not getting eggs - but a pour preservative loaded substitute that resembles egg.

Wendy’s passing out conterfeit money

My Mother In Law received several $20 bills in change from this Wendy's ALLLL of which were counterfeit. When she called the store to complain, they told her to just bring the money back in and they would exchange them. She took the money back the next day and they simply gave her more money no questions asked! Weird huh, I mean who just takes someone's word that they received counterfeit money from their store and you replace it with NO QUESTION ASKED and NO INVESTIGATION! Well, a month or so later, my husband and I went to this same Wendy's. Handed the Cashier a $20.00 and he put my money in the drawer, handed me $3.00 in change and I proceeded to the next drive thru window. Approx 3 mins or so later, the manager comes to the Window saying the $20.00 bill we gave them was counterfeit! WEIRD especially since the Bank had just given us the $20.00 that we handed him and it was a new bill, but the one being handed back to me was EXTREMELY worn! This was not the same $20.00 bill I handed them! I did call the police because someone if not several people in this Wendy's is passing counterfiet money to it's customers. The police stated that something didn't seem right because why would he put my money in the drawer, give me change and then once I pull off, take my money back out the drawer to mark it with the Blk Marker. They however told me there was nothing they could do since I didn't know the serial number on the $20.00 that I handed them (because everyone knows all the serial numbers of all the bills they have in their pockets, right?). Needless to say, the manager that gave me back my $20.00 NEVER asked for the $3.00 in change back that he had given me out of their register. As a matter of fact, the manager claimed that he didn't give me any money out of their register. Seems to me like the employee on the register and the manager are both in on this scam they are running. FUNNY that this same manager that was on duty this night is also the same manager that exchanged my Mother In-Laws money a month or so earlier with no questions asked!

Needless to say if you go to this Wendy's I would suggest you NOT use cash!

I will NEVER go back to Wendy's AGAIN as when I filed a complaint with Wendy's no one even bothered to call me back! So much for Customer Service or Satisfaction!

If you really thought that this was a problem, you should have contacted the Secret Service and let them investigate it.
You got your money back...and you have contacted the police.
That's about the end of things, isn't it?

Wendy’s where's the beef? want some fries with that?

I have been enjoying Wendy's for most of my 37 years of life. Unfortunately, my family of six and I will no longer be enjoying my favorite fast food. I realize that the laws of economics require companies to make adjustments in order to maintain profitability. “Where’s the beef?” That is the question we should be asking you. You have increased the price of your main menu and practically removed any trace of beef from your $0.99 menu. Then, to add insult to injury, you have gotten rid of your fries and replaced them with those fresh cut monstrosities. I have swallowed the injuries of increased prices, shrinking containers and disappearing beef because I loved the product. Now you insult me by changing one of my favorite products in your line up. I implore you honor the memory of Dave and go back to what made Wendy’s great. Bring back the days of FAIR PRICES, PROPER PACKAGING, GREAT FRIES, and BEEF. In essence bring back the spirit of DAVE!

Wendy’s raw spicy chicken sandwich

On Jan.7, 2011, a friend and myself went to Wendy's after we left Wal=Mart since it was so close by. I order a spicy chicken sandwich combo with a sprite and my friend ordered a ten piece chicken nugget meal with a coke. I request for my spicy chicken sandwich to be cooked fresh. After receiving both our meals we left and were on our way back home. Since there wasn't alot of gas station between our destination and Greenville we stop, got gas and that when i realize i had ate half of a raw sandwich. I tried to throw it up and I immediate we back to Wendy's told the lady who had served me and showed her the sandwich. She left the window to see what happen and then stated that The cooked had over load the fryer. The manager was told and they did offer me another sandwich, but I was sick to my stomach by then.. I keep the sandwich and left. That night i wasn't as sick, but the next evening I start have cramping pain in my abdominal, upset stomach diarrhea, vomiting, I even had chills, my head was very bad, when I would move it would hurt...just awful. I am glad I keep that chicken sandwich. Even though I am not wanting to sue..I do think I should be compensated. I reported it to the the Wendy's district manager and he forward the information the the insurance company. He got so information for me, such as Name, address, birthday and said I should be hearing from an adjuster. I never heard from the adjuster and when i call today to check on it, I was told that the case was close...I was shock to hear that it was close and I never discuss the matter with anyone other that the district manager. Just goes to show you how unfair people are...If anyone else had or has a similar report please email me at [protected]@gmail.com

Wendy’s food & beverage

Today is Wednesday, January 19, 2011. At around 1500, my girlfriend of almost 3 years was on her way to my house after school. She decided to stop by Wendy's and get some food for me since she had already eaten. Orders a "Baconator" with large fries and large drink. When she gets to my house, since I've never personally experienced anything wrong with Wendy's food, I devour the food and gulp down some of the soda she got me. However, not being able to finish the large drink, I proceed to the kitchen sink to dump out the rest of it. I take the lid off, and pour out the drink. As I'm pouring it out, a receipt falls out that wasn't even mine. It was dated January 23, 2009. Now, what Wendy's is doing with an almost 2 year old cup, I don't know. Or why there was a 2 year old receipt in my drink. But shortly after I ate the food and consumed the drink, I suffered from vomiting and diarrhea. I plan on suing Wendy's for as much as I can. It's only been 2 hours since I consumed the food.

Yeah I thought about contacting the company so I could get like a year of free food but, that just makes me sound like a fat ###. And about keeping the vomit and feces... Although that would be hysterical, I think I'll keep that out so they don't try to make me out to be insane haha

Nah haha, I know paper won't give you food poisoning. But it's still disgusting. How would you, or anyone else for that matter, like 2 year old receipt in their drink? Not very pleasant lol

I didn't say the receipt itself made me sick. I said after I consumed the meal, I got sick. I'm still sick. And yeah, she might be trying to. I don't know what for though because I definitely don't have any money for her to get haha

Wendy’s general manager

I waz recently employed there an I felt like I had to quit because the general manger show his employees no respect an its sad. This man talks to us like we are nothing an what makes it so bad he's telling us things about him that should be kept to his self, like the person over top of him is his uncle an he can't loose his job. He says things to the employees that only his wife should know. The employees should be able to work around comfortable people specially if they are suppose to be our leaders. It's so unfair how people like that get away with things because of people they know. It's nt right so I quit an I've been waiting to get this off my chest an I would really like to contacted because this just don't sit with me.please email me back at [protected]@gmail.com

I worked at Wendy's for over a year. Recently the store was robbed and I was hurt. I was terminated because the employee didn't do her cash drop and I was held responsible. Now they won't pay my unemployememt. This company has alot of issues such as favoritism, rasism, and just downright bad overall quality.

Wendy’s disgusting drinks

I have lived in Dyersburg for five years and every time I have ever had Wendy's the drinks taste spoiled. It tastes like they haven't cleaned or changed the taps in years. It has a sour taste to it. I very very rarely eat there obviously, usually only if I am at work and one person is going out to pick up lunch and it happens to be Wendy's. I refuse to get drinks from there anymore but I know the problem is still going on because everyone complains. It has gotten so bad that our local Topix has threads about the drinks at Wendy's, not to mention the atrocious service. Everybody that works there has a terrible attitude and if you try to complain they make you feel threatened. The first (and only time) I ever intentionally went inside to eat a meal I mentioned the foul odor and tastes of the drinks to the manager and she said "THEY TASTE FINE TO ME." Someone is going to get sick. I, along with countless others, have complained to corporate several times and nothing has been done. They still have not changed the taps in FIVE YEARS or even apparently cleaned them. DO NOT EAT AT WENDY'S IN DYERSBURG, TENNESSEE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SICK. The website attached is a link to the thread on Topix about our Wendy's. There are also about three or four other threads on our Topix about Wendy's.

Wendy’s hair in food

Oct. 09, 2010

Hello, my name is Jason and I recently visited this Wendy's location for the great $2.99 BBQ Bacon meal that is currently advertised. I entered with a friend at approximately 12:30 pm, ordered 1 Chicken Ceasar Salad, order #0184, and then in a seperate order, order #0185, ordered 2 of the $2.99 meals. We paid, waited, received our order, and then left. It wasn't till I returned home and started eating my meal, when I noticed a hair in one of my french fries. I immediately jumped back in my car a returned to the location and asked to speak to a manager, Juan. Now, I know a manager is only entitled to so much power, and everywhere I've eaten where the order has something in it, my money has been immediately returned to me in the full amount and the food is replaced and returned, but I was told that I could only have one or the other. Again, I know the manager, Juan, is only entitled to make certain decisions without asking a superior and I don't blame him for anything, in fact he was very helpful, he even re-made our order to ensure it was ok, I think this falls on the policies of the company itself. I was under the impression that the customer is ALWAYS right, and in my book, if there is any type of hair, lint, bug, etc. in the food, you immediately take it upon yourself to make what was wrong, right, that means money, food, and anything else is replaced and returned. I do realize some franchises are individually owned, but I have worked at a Togo's Eatery, and on the rare occasion that this happens, like now, the money and food was replaced and returned in the manner that it should have been, correctly. This incident does not change the amount of times I will visit a Wendy's restaurant, or how I feel about Wendy's, I love the triple BACONATOR, I just feel that as seldom as these occasions are, they need taken care of in every aspect, so as not to let an upset customer leave your restaurant, and then bad word of mouth begins to take place, and that is the worst. I would like to reiterate, I AM NOT BLAMING THE MANAGER OR THE STAFF, I think that the food and money should have been returned to me, no questions asked, as I would do the same to someone else. I do apologize for this complaint, I don't like to, but I left the restaurant NOT 100% satisfied and that should be the goal of any business, customer satisfaction 100%, and I feel something should be done, not necessarily to the manager, Juan, or the staff, but to the policies and procedures of Wendy's. My order totaled, $6.53, out of the hundreds of thousands of dollars that a Wendy's makes everyday off the public, replacing and returning an order for $6.53 to one customer should be worth more than all the money Wendy's receives, because a customer left 100% satisfied. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to read this. -Jason

Okay, whatever.
You went out to buy some food, paid the money, then something's wrong. Sure, you take it back, but I have never been reimbursed and given a replacement. For all they know, you could have put the hair there. You went out willing to pay the money for the food, but you're saying you're not willing to pay after something defective has been replaced.
Now, what they might could have done is make you an extra something, like more french fries or some chicken nuggets, for free.
If they reimbursed like you want though, everyone would come back whining that "there was a hair in their food" and then Wendy's would make no money.

Sorry pal. This is how things work.
Best regards,
Jeff

Wendy’s assault

Today's visit to Wendy's on University and Rouse Road resulted in an assault by the manager (Steve). I noticed a landscaper edging very close to the cars on University Ave. I went out to tell the landscaper to edge the lawn when there are no cars nearby when the Manager (Steve) aggressively advises that I should not park there. Steve insists on taking a picture of my car, so I take his picture. Steve reaches to grab my phone as the landscaper steps between us. Nine years of visiting this particular Wendy's have never resulted in an altercation until today.

Please report your experience with this manager (Steve) at this website. If you were a witness, please report what you saw on the Wendy's website.

First of all, suck it up. That wasn't an assault.

Second of all, don't tell the landscaper how to do his job. I'm quite certain that not hitting the parked cars is a very important consideration for him. If your car is so precious that even the slightest possibility of damage is too much for you to bear, park further away and walk. If that is the case though, how do you manage to leave your driveway without having a panic attack?

Wendy’s bad food and wrong orders!

I visit Wendy's alot. I get the same thing everytime I go. I normally have no problems, but recently the past few times i go the nuggets a get are hard and cold. they are impossible to bit and even if you do they taste gross! I normally get a bake potatoe with brocoli and cheese, the past few times they either forget the brocoli, i get the wrong potatoe. or there isnt enough stuff on it. When I go through the drive though i have to ask 3 or 4 times for my sweet and sour sauce, the girl at the window rolls her eyes. I ask if there is a fork in the bag, and she would do the same and say i dont know. Well gees dont you work here, arent you suppose to make sure that stuff is in the bag! and then even after asking for sweet and sour sauce, i still dont get it!

I work in fast food, and i understand you forget things somtimes, or your moving so fast you dont pay attention, but the rudeness just doesnt fly with me. Are they that rude to everybody that comes through the drive through? If you worked where i do, you wouldnt be working there very long.
Greenfield Wendys you have lost me as a customer!
