How responsive is Target's customer service?

We're pretty sure that if Target showed up wayyyy more often on ComplaintsBoard and paid more attention to reviews and complaints, it would lead to better results. But for now, the resolution rate doesn't show successful interaction with customers. We advise reviewers to be careful when communicating with Target and be ready for the chance your problem might not get a response. It's also good to start looking for other solutions if your issues aren't fixed as you want.

Target never received free target gift card!

On June 22, 2006 roughly around 12:15:37 I received an email from an email address [protected]@thaseaplus.com which stated that I was Target Voucher winner #753-9699 and have just won a $500 Target Voucher. To redeem voucher I had to sign up for one of the services listed when I clicked on the link http://thaseaplus.com/t/c/84/off_good/sz6279.html.

Needless to say I filled out to receive services through Columbia House Video. A $500 Target Gift Card was promised to be delivered by FedEx. I have never received a $500 Target Gift Card.

When I was out on medical leave I emailed this [protected]@thaseaplus.com only to finally receive an undeliverable mail reply. My email was sent from my home email address [protected]@msn.com on November 8, 2006.

The account number I have on file with Columbia House Video is [protected].

I have copies of all the pages that popped up when I was complying to receive my $500 Target Gift Card.

I'm actually on this site right now and I don't believe it... It's just too good to be true.
Pay 4.95 off your credit card and get a 100$ gift card voucher for a savings plan. I'm on this free computer website that I heard on the radio and thought I would check it out becuase I need one for school... I feel like it's a scam but I just don't know!
Why I came to this site was to find out what a gift card voucher was... Does anyone know what a gift card voucher is? becuase I'm thinking it's like a concert voucher where if you go to this buisness you won't get in for free but you'll get in cheaper than everyone else... isn't that how vouchers work?
So someone who isn't an employee of this site suppoirting their scam let me know what is going on with this computer site?!?!?!?! Or does anyone have a cheap laptop to sell?

not all an-line surverys are schemes, I did not believe any of them were real at all... until a friend of mine did one, she did have to sign up for 2 offers. she did receive a 100 dollar gift card about 4 weeks later. I decided to try... I went to same site as my friend... I just received a 500 dollar gift card for target. I don't like giving any info. on-line either, I contacted promotional company first (e-mail) and set it up so I could pick my offers over the phone and then I could call disney movie club and a book club myself and set it up. They gave me a verification number to e-mail to the promotional company and about 5 weeks later I got my card! I do beleive that no matter what u do to protect yourself...It is always possible for someone to get your info. Can't worry too much about it.

So not only did you fall for some sales scheme that probably has no affiliation with Target whatsoever, but you also posted your account information from columbia house video on a public forum, where anyone with enough tech smarts can probably get your credit card number you used to apply for the service?

I'm light headed now

I was supposedly the 999,999th visitor to a Paul Potts web site, and was informed that I would receive a $500 gift card from Target.SWEET! What a great Christmas bonus to be able to do the bulk of my holiday shopping for my 5 grandchildren at Target! All I had to do was complete the survey, click on at least 2 of the many offers that followed, and my gift card would be delivered via FedEx. It has been nearly 3 weeks, and all I have received is a ton of unwanted Email and as many phone calls all wanting to sell me something or enroll me in some "get rich scheme". Needless to say, I'm disappointed, and I'll never fill out another on-line survey.

Target heartless store!

I am writing to everyone I know about something that happened to me. On October 12th, western NY got hit with a freak snowstorm. This storm dropped over 20 inches of snow which took down power lines all over. Over 300,000 people were without power. On the second day after this storm I finally managed to get out to try to buy a few things. One of them was a battery operated radio. I ended up at our Target store in Cheektowaga, NY. They were one of the few stores that managed to open up that soon. I went in and there were 2 radios on their shelf. I asked the saleslady if there were any in boxes and she said no and told me that I could not buy either one of those 2 since they do not sell display models. Well, after all the stress of the past few days, I started crying. I asked her to please call the manager. She did. When the manager came, I told him that I wanted to purchase one of the radios and he told me the same thing. I told him that during an emergency situation, I thought store policy should be suspended. He told me, "Well, what if another shipment of those comes in? How will the customers be able to see what they are going to purchase?" I told him to just open another box, take one out and put it on display. He smirked at me and told me that's too bad, it was still company policy and he wouldn't sell me one. My poor kids were hugging me telling me not to cry and he just walked off. Well, needless to say, I will never ever shop at a Target store again and I told this person that I would tell everyone I know what a cold, heartless store it was. I called their headquarters to relate what happened and the woman said he should have sold it to me but that was about it. I am so disgusted with a company that cares more about it's policy than about it's customers. So please, pass this on to everyone that you know. Let everyone know that Target doesn't give a care about it's customers only it's bottom line and it's policies. I believe that people talk with their pocketbooks when it comes to stores and that is the best way to let Target know that we will not deal with a store like theirs. I am asking everyone to please copy this and send it to everyone you know. I would not want anyone else to go through anything like this. Thank you very much.

Target - target has lost another customer!

I bought a camera and the matching printer a Christmas present for my daughter. My daughter opened the camera and was looking at the directions when she noticed that I had the wrong printer for that camera. The camera and the printer were both Kodak, but we had been sold the wrong model printer by the "not so helpful salesclerk" at Target. I took it back...

I ordered a coat from Target.com and more than a couple days later, I get an email saying that my shipment might be delayed up to 2 weeks! They didn't give me any more information, or any reason, but AT LEAST THEY'RE "SORRY". They actually had the nerve to also put on the email that they hope I do business with them again. I will never spend another penny with them again.

I dont have a business , the location is in Boca Raton FL. and I want to make a complaint.
I ordered a Black & Decker SpaceMaker Under the Counter can Opener from Target from the internet and in about 10 minutes I canceled the order and they sent me notification that they were shipping out the can opener to me, I send them a message to tell them that I will be sending the merchandise back to them, when the postmaster delivers it to me.

That is my complaint, they should allow more time before they mail anything out to you.

Target - return policy is deceptive

When I tried to return a file cabinet, unopened box without receipt (misplaced it) to Target store, they made me to either get something from their Office Supply Department (at same value or higher), or take it back home. I asked if I could get a store credit so that I can get something I may need at a later time? They said no. I was in rush as I was on...
