Super 8 super 8 hotel sudbury ontario canada

Before I start, please everyone read my entire review. I just need to find some place to start.
My wife and I checked in april 19th 2017 dumped our luggage in room 135, since we had to get to the hospital right away for a medical procedure. When we returned around 7 pm, we were setting up to watch the hockey game, so lets start there.
— 30 channels on the tv guide list. — 16 of those channels repeat themselves
— 4 of the channels were fuzzy could not watch
— 5 channels were french
— last 5 were weather or 24 hr news, needless to say no hockey game. I did get the score from one of the 24 hr news channel next morning, great!

No hockey so let's take a shower... Wait wait waaaaait for it, that's right the shower was dicussting, shower curtain full of mould tub would not drain backed up with all kinds of hair, got the owner to take a look that went no where, they could fix in the morning or take a room on second floor, unfortunately after my wife's procedure could not walk stairs (Which won't have mattered, you will find out in a moment)

Time for bed big mistake, turned our sheet down and something caught my attention. Pulled the sheet down more to inspect, full of blood stains. So we decided to sleep in our sweats. Sorry tried to sleep, I think cheech and chong might have been staying there since there was so much pot smoke.

So after that fun filled night time for breakfast. I ask myself why! I should have known. The toast was great. After my fill of bread, I took up the offer to shower in another room. I thought by now something has to go right, big mistake
I want everyone to know this stuff can not be made up, this is what was happening there. Room 229 off I got for my shower. Nice pile of dried up dog crap on stairs on the way up, must be their new décor. Open room 229 for my shower.
— the sink was full of hair, great start
— the toilet was not bolted down, great imax feeling
— the shower was on such and angle felt like you were in a recliner
— the shower curtain right on par full of mould
— after a quick rinse need to dry off, grabbed a towel that was full of pubic hair

I need to hopefully say no more, we should have stayed at the bates
I believe super 8's slogan is "there's always a light on" in this case I truly hope super 8 sudbury @ 1956 regent st. Considers turning those lights off!
In case you were wondering the best part of the hotel was leaving.

Sincerely, a guest that will never return and maybe there will be others

Super 8 accusation of theft

FYI, I copy of this email will be forwarded to New Orleans news outlets and social media in the event this is not addressed immediately.

My son and his roommate were accused this weekend of stealing blankets and pillows from the Metairie Super 8, 2421 Clearview Parkway, and subsequently charged $100. They were with the FSU baseball team on a trip to play at Tulane. They were driving home when they received a call stating the team was being charged the $100 fee for the theft.
My son, daughter and their roommates on their way home to Tallahassee, pulled off at the very next exit and returned to refute the claim. They were given the run around, no one spoke intelligible English and they would go behind closed doors then return stating it was too bad the items were missing.
This manager, a defacto representative of Super 8, has impugned my son's and his roommates honesty and integrity. These are exceptional young adults, evidenced by the fact that they turned around and went back to the Metairie Super 8 to dispute this unsubstantiated claim.

Super 8 filthy room; broken toilet seats & doors; excessive loud noise, drinking & smoking; no managers/owners came to help

The hotel was disgusting. It was filthy dirty, broken toilet seats and doors. There was a large group of people hanging out directly outside our doors, being loud, drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, charcoal grilling & fighting. Managers were called - nothing changed. We were told owners would be contacted to help us. Nothing changed. Police were called and told us owners LIVE onsite, yet they did not help. I have attempted to talk to a manager 3 times and have been unsuccessful.

Super 8 uper 8 2711 s. ocean blvd, myrtle beach, sc

The hotel was terrible. It was run down and soiled. The shower faucet came off in my hand. Maintenance was quick to respond and fix knob. However the shower had hardly any pressure as half the water came out of faucet instead of shower head. It also ran hot then cold throughout the shower. I requested towels at 3:30 pm. I went down to get towels at 4:15 pm they insisted the towels would be right there. We finally use our beach towels. Then at 11:30 at night they have the nerve to wake us up to give us our towels.

The stay was 3/31 - 4/2/17. We had reservations in writing for 2pm. They told us at the desk check in was at 3pm. I asked if they could please ready the room for 2pm and I was told they have other rooms to clean. We drove 4 hours and we're exhausted. Since we have a check in for 2pm in writing, why couldn't they clean our room? Then when we came back at 3 pm the girl at the desk couldn't get us checked in right. It took 20 minutes to get us checked in.

Super 8 hotel amenities-pool-wifi-calls-heat

March 20, 2017

I visited the Super 8 in Phoenix Arizona from March 13-17, 2017. It was my first time visiting Phoenix and I was very much looking for ward to the trip. I decided to book at the Super 8 on 965 E Van Buren as it was located downtown at a rate of $189 per night. The hotels description states that it has an outdoor pool, free wifi and free local calling. Those were all the options that I narrowed my search down to as I was travelling alone.

Unfortunately none of the phones worked in my room or in the other guests rooms that I spoke with. This meant that I had to make all of my calls in the front lobby to book any excursions or local calls. It was very inconvenient and difficult to make plans for the day without a phone as well as others standing by.
The pool was closed all day on the Wednesday due to a broken light that was never repaired. This was one of the biggest disappointments as the weather was 34 degrees and I traveled from Canada's cold to swim. In addition the pool was not heated and was ice cold.
The wifi then broke on the 16th and 17th which meant there was no internet access, no way to get uber to get back to the airport or to get rides, no way to call for bus schedules or make calls through an app for calling out.
Although the staff were helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was tidy and met my expectations, overall the hotel as a huge disappointment and I am requesting a refund or a credit for the five days I paid at another hotel. Had I known that there would be so many issues-especially the pool being so neglected, I would have not stayed there and i would not recommend this hotel to others in the future.

Super 8 unauthorized credit card charges

On the 7 March 2017 we checked into your Billings, MT motel. Then on the morning of 8 March 2017 we checked out and paid our account of $73.26 in cash (in full).
To my dismay on the 10th March I discovered that my credit card had been charged $73.26 as well ! Then today I called the Billings motel and got an unacceptable explanation a mile long that was totally meaningless from a costumers point of view.
This needs to be corrected immediately or my next step will be writing a review re Super 8 on YELP!

Super 8 the television was out 2 of 3 nights that me and my family stayed there only for the pool we would have checked out

We stayed at the super 8 located on Higgins line, st.john's newfoundland on dates March through March 6 2016 and the first night was good but the two following nights the cable was out and was unable to watch anything on TV and with three young that is a must .with the pool on our floor was the only thing for us to do which was a inconvenience at most times .we were planning on stay at this hotel again on the weekend of March 17 to 18 but as of right now we are unsure if we are goin to rebook at this hotel

Super 8 air unit did not work

Air unit broke called desk no other rooms ask for a fan nope just that they would tell maintenance in the morning and how is that going to help me my husband and 2 young daughters tonight from being hot and miserable open the window but what's the point main road is so loud sounds like your sitting right next to it. They never once even bothered to offer us any other solutions. Nor even offer to refund our money so we could go somewhere else I want my money back we were on the road for nearly 4 hours on our way home was tired wanted a good night sleep but that didn't happwn. We will NEVER I REPEAT NEVER STAY AT SUPER 8 IN CENTRAL CITY KENTUCKY AGAIN.

Super 8 unclean room that was not safe for our dog. we paid a dog fee to have her with us.

We walked into our room which had an odor. Our dog ran in and began to ear some green pellets on the floor. We did not know what the were. We were on our knees 20 mins picking up pelleta, hay and colored puffs. Your policy states clean and comfortable stays. We even signed up for your rewards program. We just drove from Saint George Island, Fl and were tired. We expect for the price we pay not to have to clean our own room. We told the gal at the front desk and only got a sorry. We are newly retired and will be traveling often. I hope you can turn this bad experience into lifetime of great visits. Mark and Karen Seib...today is our Anniversary

Super 8 I payed half the amount for the next day the night before not knowing if I was staying the next day. Well I need to stay

First off i am a single mother of a 8 yr old daughter the recently lost our home in a fire . i payed half fir the next night just in case we woukd be staying at 10:30the manager came down and was very rude couldnt open the safe toget mymoney out and the mager was very rude his name is Bhavesh bobby Parikh of the terre haute store he had been veryhelpful and aaccomdating up till today. I lost 30 dollars in food because he would not change myfridge so my 8 yr old dughter hadnothi g to eat . he had let me pay lie this 2 othr time and i have been staying her for 3 weeks withthe red cross helping me now my stuff sits outside ihabe no wi ter coat and had a seziour and hejust watched me and did nothing i never in my life been yteated as if i was a low life #### ofthe earth and that is how he made me feel i had 2 seziours and he did nothing. Wjile i was still there he had. Call from red cross not sure why he tirned into mean and heartless man cause he ws very helpful then turned on me nd told me i could go stay some wher eles. I thi k i am owed. A Apologie and compasated for my embarrassing ordeal. Sincerly.

Super 8 the overall facility the outside environment and the inside of the dingy rooms

I checked into yhe super 8 on hypoluxo and lantana at almist 12am tired sleepy and had have to be back to work at 7am here it is 3:25am and im up uncomfortablecan't sleep bugs termites or moths are flying around and on me ive killed one on mirror the bed covers are dirty and have holes in them. The towels are dingy and the entire room looks dirty. I didn't feel comfortable in the bed or even eating on the desks. One of the lamps are broken. I didn't even feel comfortable taking a shower, this is just filth the floors have cracka the carpet is very sticky and dirt it also has cigarette butts on floor i had to get my 3yr god child he almost choked on one i wouldn't recommend anyone staying at that hotel. The condition is disrespectful to all customers!II WANT A REFUND!

Super 8 super 8 hershey, pa

I made reservations online on January 8, 2017 for that night. Shortly after booking my 9 month old son experienced an asthma attack and we had to quickly change our plans. We called about 20 minutes after booking to cancel our reservation and was met with a very rude, unhelpful front desk associate. My husband called the Wyndham Hotel's 1800# and continued receiving no help what so ever. We kept getting transferred to different people, disconnected and asked 100 questions regarding why we needed to "suddenly" cancel. We obviously in no way felt that we needed to explain to anyone about our sick child and was actually hung up on by one associate who took our call on the 1800#. We did find one person who offered to call the hotel and kept us on the line-when she got back on the phone with us she said that the front desk associate told her that she told us "numerous" times there was nothing she could do, and so the 1800# got us no where. We obviously had pressing issues and left it alone for that night. The next morning first thing my husband called the hotel and asked for the general manager. She knew about the situation as soon as my husband started talking-obviously the front desk associate had told her about the annoying people who kept calling the night before wanting to cancel. She was immediately rude with us and kept saying she couldn't refund us. She said since we had no reference number from the night before we had not actually called the 1800# and accused us of lying. My husband explained the situation with our son and after basically begging, she said "I don't see how your son got sick that quickly but I will refund this once as a curtesy". I am infuriated at the heartlessness of every single person we talked to for help. And even after they refunded us because they were just sick of hearing from us-we we're accused of lying about our sick child and made to feel like criminals. Obviously nobody that works for this company has children or even remotely understands the situation some families are in with children with chronic illnesses-but maybe they should be educated on how to have empathy in these situations. I am so disgusted with my experience I will never stay at a super 8 again, and will make sure everyone I know understands how horrible this company is.

Super 8 service / treatment and charges.

I arrived for my stay on Monday informed them that I have a cat and will be staying for a week or two until my new home is ready for move in. I was charged for my pet and had no complaints. I spoke to someone on Thursday extending my stay until at least Saturday also informing that man in writing and in person that I have a cat and was charged again each night a pet fee. When I went in this morning to extend my stay again like I had spoken to them about, I was told rudely by the same man that we were kicked out for having a cat and that they never told us it was OK and that cats were not allowed. The extent of the lies and rudeness from the staff after multiple conversations regarding my cat and stay there is very unacceptable. I also at this point 4 months pregnant and sick had to pack up my entire room and belongings and relocate for another week stay. I have made multiple attempts to speak to someone regarding my issues I expect to be refunded at least the pet charges that I was charged every night if I am told now I was not allowed to have this pet and was kicked out and inconvenienced. I will reach out to whomever necessary to resolve this issue for I find it very unnacceptable and would not want someone else in my health condition to be put through such treatment at your locations.

Super 8 room quality / poor customer service

My girlfriend and I drove 5 hours from ny to vt. We got in late. The people working at night were very pleasant and helpful. As we walked in, the person smoking immediately put out his smoke to follow us inside to assist us, and at the same time a young woman popped out of the back...was training the new guy...very helpful. After tossing and turning all night, I undo the covers, and notice 3 burn marks from what appears to be cigarettes. Upon a better look theres more like 15 and a few rips. When we were on our way out to go to the mountain, i mentioned to the front old lady...one of the two, that, "Hey, just so you know, thers a bunch of holes in my middle blanket fleece thing." I Was not complaining about it, just bringing it up. Come back from skiing, and it would be nice to have a blanket thats not full of holes. Then I come to find this hand written note, and it sounds a lil threatening to me. It reads " I dont suggest you leave stuff like this in your rm some one else may just turn you in 4 smokin $250 charge and they will D.N.R. you from motel."

This is the super 8 in Brattleboro

I turn over this note... and it says my house keeper has been Kathryn
And Thankyou on ...her tip envelope.

We pre paid for 3 days and now to be honest feel offended and want to know if we can cancel our last day.

Super 8 unauthorized credit, charge rude employees and bribery

on nov.28 2016 my wife and I checked into the nearest hotel off 1-285 on Jonesborough rd. in Atlanta ga., a super 8.while it was not an impressive establishment it appeared to be adequate for a break from driving after a long day on the road.was greeted by man claiming to be g.m. named kush.he told me he had available rooms, was pet friendly, and quoted a rate of $74/night, $10 for a pet deposit.upon reviewing my charges a few days later saw an extra $50 charge.i called the next day and was called a thief by an associate on duty, after explaining we had stole a bedspread upon checkout.i called 2 days later and spoke to kush, and he also claimed breadspread was missing after our checkout.i am a believer in travel advisor and naturally gave them a less than favorable review.in my conversation with said g.m.kush who needless to say was not pleased with negative review I wrote, he also stated breadspread was missing but offered to credit my charge card if I would change my review in a more favorable light as he admitted he had no proof(because it never happenened) I stole his property.unethical to say the least !

Super 8 milwaukee, wisconsin airport location

Rude front desk am person, not clean lobby black tire marks in floor, no wet floor signs, full trash bags on luggage carts, poor quality food, expired yogurt, no spoon or bowls, stale hard dry bread, no hot water for tea, no cereal, bad apples, staff does not hold elevator door upon exit forforguests, employees sitting in lobby near end of shift loud and swearing, dirty room, hairs in tub, took dirty linen did not replace, went through our belonging's while they should have been cleaning, key cards deactivated had to have reset after day outing. Bathroom wall dirty and floor in corners. Given 2 conditioners no shampoo. Same rude desk clerk would not give me a print out of my receipt upon check out.shuttle never showed up for us to go to dinner we drove ourselves.

Super 8 the manager rita at aurora il location

The manager rita at the aurora locarionnis so rude ahe charges people extra for rooms and pockets the money ive seen it happen twice and also he women working there get no respect ok the manager rita she is from india ok and she just hired another guy who is also drom there tell me y he demands the most hrs and he disrespects the women and rita the boss does not do anythinf about it she just lets him do what he wants cause they are the same race and the is bed bugs And i really hope corprate looks at theses she is also hireing illigals

Super 8 free night scam

Stayed 2 consecutive nights at Super 8, the one in at Waynesburg, P.A. Aug 24 and the one in Walterboro, SC. Both proudly displayed a sign stating stay two nights at any Super 8 - get the third night FREE. We Produced our Wyndam rewards card as instructed and that was supposed to be that. Time to redeem and no such offer exists according to Wyndam - they say to phone the Super 8 and Super 8 says to phone Wyndam. TOTAL SCAM.

I haven't used my Wyndham rewards card in a long time, but to get the free night I think you have to give your card number when you book, not when you get to the hotel, and you have to book through Wyndham.

Super 8 housekeeping dishonesty

I checked out Monday morning after a Saturday night and a Sunday 10/8/16 and 10/09/16 I left my shirt in the bathroom of room 118 it was drying from a wet spot. I realized it when I was to far away to turn around. I called later that evening to tell the desk clerk and she said housekeeping had gone home and she would ask about it. When I called back the next day I was told that there wasn't any items turned in. I left my number and still haven't received a call about it. I keep thinking that since I know that my shirt was left in the bathroom that some person in housekeeping is uncaring and possibly a thief. I'm not naive about the ugly side of human nature and how tempting my shirt may have been because I have good taste in clothing but there wasn't even a inkling of concern from the desk clerk to investigate my claim. So beware of the Super 8 in Santa Ross, NM because I'll wager the larceny that lurks in some unnamed housekeeper is still lurking because no one in authority is even aware of it. I would like my shirt back it was a colorful long sleeve plaid.
