[Resolved] Skechers USA / energy lights
Hi we just bought energy lights skechers for our youngest daughter size 11 to be exact from famous footwear outlet from Fremont Indiana 6245 n old 27. There were multiple colors but only one size 11 in royal blue which was perfect but one shoe didn't light up we just assuned kids had played with it and it needed charged. Eager our 4 year old put her new shoes on. Now the problem we get him which we live in edon oh charge the shoes for 2 hours and nothing. It wont light up it didnt even light up when we were charging it. You know as well as we do we can't return shoes that are already worn. So what do we do now.. Customer care service did everything in their power to resolve this complaint. All attempts to contact the complainant have failed. Therefore, this complaint has been annulled and must not be considered where image of the company in question and it's services are concerned.

Thank you for contacting SKECHERS! I am so sorry to hear that you're having issues with your recently purchased SKECHERS shoes.
Please note the following tips for your Energy Lights shoes:
Always use the USB split cable supplied with your energy lights
Only plug charging cord to a USB power source rated at 5v, 1a.
Make sure the USB cord is plugged in all the way to ensure shoes are charging
Charge the shoes for at least 2 full hours before use
Lights on shoes will flash while charging and will stop flashing once shoes are fully charged, unplug immediately.
Do not leave them plugged in and charging over night
There is an On/Off button located on the tongue of the shoe, hold down the button to immediately stop the lights
If you have tried these tips and the shoes are still not working properly we suggest returning them to the original place of purchase. If the original retailer will not assist you we can offer a replacement pair once deemed defective with our quality assurance department.

· Your return will be replaced with the same style, color, and size if available, however, please include a second option in your return shipment. If a second option is not included in your return we will send the closest comparable style.
For your protection, we advise that you ship your package via a traceable method. SKECHERS cannot be responsible for merchandise lost in transit.
• Items that are deemed normal wear and tear will not be eligible for replacement.
• Items that are deemed as a manufacturer's defect will be replaced accordingly.
• Return shipping fees are non-refundable.
• Returns to the SKECHERS warehouse cannot be refunded unless purchased directly from SKECHERS.com.
• Once received at our facility; it can take 3-5 business days to clear inspection which would be a total processing time of 3 weeks to receive a replacement.
• Incomplete information provided with your return may delay the processing period.
• SKECHERS does not replace items that have been previously replaced, any exchange request after the initial replacement will not be approved.
