Toyota review: car buying scam

I bought a used car here yesterday. First, I was told by the salesman SEVERAL times it was a certified preowned vehicle and even handled the certified handbook when we will filling out paperwork. IT IS NOT A CERTIFIED PREOWNED VEHICLE I noticed once I looked at all of the paperwork. But, the most insulting thing is that I paid $3500 + tax (& financing) MORE than the advertised price of the exact vehicle, with the
exact VIN #, in an ad that specifically states (price includes everything except title, tax, and registration). Well, I called as soon as I got home! I told them selling for more than advertised price was not legal. I was told by the sales manager, Carlos, through my salesman that it did not include the extras that were already on the vehicle-- the JBL sound system, the roofrack, the running boards. I said the ad said it did. Well, he said, then it is because it's certified. It costs us a lot to certify a vehicle. I hung up and contacted my lawyer (only to read in the contract I signed away to arbitration, so will likely be going that route). I was charged $395 for a policy of 7 years/100, 000 that I was told OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN would be FREE, FREE, FREE. Every time I signed with my salesman I specifically said, "there will be no charge for this, right". He said "yes, " every time. Sadly, my very nice and seemingly honest salesman when it came time to sign or deal with $ on anything handed us over to 3 different people. Carlos was the negotiator who even when I offered $3000 less than I paid said "I can't do that, " even though the advertised price was $3500 less! There was a heavy set guy with white hair who drew up the invoice I believe who also tried to charge me sales tax for both NY (where I live) AND NJ (where I was buying the car) until I pointed it out that it was incorrect since I was only registering the car in NY and you only pay sales tax where you register the car. (A difference of $2100 !) Furthermore, I sat down with a very nice gentleman who I trusted because in speaking to him he also had an autistic son and I said mine had been there for hours and was crying. I was doing my best to get out of there. He gave me four places to sign/choose from and all were monthly payments that the invoice was going to be drawn up from. They were the four warranty choices. I did the math on my iphone and all were $50 or more MORE than the rate it was supposed to be based on percentage and payment terms. Also, it seemed like what I was trying to be sold for the extra $ was the 7 year/100, 000 warranty that I was told by my salesman came with mine and all precertified vehicles. He said, "no that's not included". I said, "then I don't want it." With a hysterically crying special needs child in the car with my husband and everything transferred over I just wanted to get out of there. I was there almost 6 hours. The man said to me, "would $8/month be worth it to you." I said, "fine." Well, obviously an educated consumer instead of one who was fed up with their previous car would've been a better tactic to approach car buying. However, I believe that people are generally honest and trustworthy. Big mistake! I've got to say that my salesman Matt had NOTHING to do with the numbers and may have believed he was selling me a certified vehicle (I can't imagine him handing me the booklet and telling me everywhere I initialled that these things were included AND I got 24 hour roadside assistance because of it). However, once things left Matt's hands all hell broke loose into what I am currently checking into as not only unethical, but in many states illegal business practices, and after here I will be consulting with lawyers, the attorney general, the better business bureau, Yelp, and the court of public opinion. I stick only to the facts that I paid $34, 990 for a vehicle advertised at $31, 490 and that is not RIGHT. And, when confronted with it and that it was illegal I was told numerous, what can only be called, lies. I have more screenshots of the ad and where it says all costs included and the details of what's on the car (except, title tax delivery etc./small stuff).
