Qatar Airways delay in baggage to delay in flight and there by rushing to connecting flight

I was traveling to Pune and booked Qatar Airways(Qa570) to Delhi and Vistara (Uk720) as transfer flight to Pune. My booking reference is N3ZAZD, name- ANU ANNA JOSSAN.
The Qatar airways reached at 9:30 instead of 8:20, due delay from Doha and also the air space closure issue between Pakistan and India. I was on the verge of missing the vistara flight at domestic terminal and was asked to leave the luggage at the counter as it was planned to transfer by the Qatar airways staff to Pune. I reached Pune at 12:15 in the afternoon and got my luggage after many international phone calls at midnight 02:00am. Till then I didn't take my medication, change dress and even had to cancel the meetings. Did nt even sleep till then and was extremely tired and had to pay delivery charges for getting the luggage.
I would like to get the money spent and reimbursed for the tension and the arrangements done. I appreciate the staff who helped.

Qatar Airways hamad airport passengers inspection security team

Hello,
Firstly, I am attaching here my proof boarding pass. I made a complain about how I was searched by the security at Hamad Airport when I was transiting from QR 702 from JFK NYC to Muscat, Oman. I am working at UN offices in Oman as a staff member since 5 years. I was researched and touched by a female staff member in very humiliating way. She refused to offer me private search room on claims that I triggered alarm on leg while her touches and way of conduct were very uncomfortable before her male colleagues. I was so offended and expressed that to a Qatari officer Ms Heba, who asked me to file a claim.
I was always trusting Hamad airport as a comfortable decent place to travel through and Qatar Airways as a decent carrier but that is not the same anymore sorry to say. I had an option to go through Dubai airport but I always prefer your national carrier, however this conduct made by an African female personnel who does not share our cultures and traditions is really unacceptable and does not reflect the civilization of Qatar. I visited Qatar more than 20 times where I entered the country and passed through its airport but I never witnessed such humiliating behavior by this personnel of the private company responsible of searching passengers.
I call on you please to rectify this situation. This incident happened yesterday on 20 March at 5.30 pm Qatar time when I was transitioning from JFK to Muscat airport through Doha. As stated my the officer Ms. Heba who attended my claim and the Asian head of search crew, the cameras captured this incident at this time and I can file a claim so this person can be accountable for this behavior. I do not want to go through this behavior or conduct anymore at the airport which I have never seen at any airport at all, and that to be avoided to be experienced by any other woman.

The goal of the complaint was not about either UN staff can be granted a special service at the airport or not. The complaint was about the conduct of the personnel who did this "baseless" inspection and the refraining from offering at least private room for inspection for women. That is the complaint purpose. I think the message is totally misunderstood. The issue was about honoring the rights of the passenger and not considering him criminal or denying his/her rights of privacy.

I would like to share my
Terrible! Terrible! Experience with potential qatar airways customers that they stole all my money and valuables from my hand bag which they literally enforced me to get checked in at doha airport...! They didn't do a [censored] about it when I reported the theft... It ruined my entire trip and left a very
Bad taste. I had no money in hand when I landed to different country which I especially exchanged to use.
Do not trust this qatar airline for your luggage!
They have recruited a team of thieves as security crew and encourage them to steal as much as they can 🥵

Qatar Airways lost case then received damaged

Did an on line form to you to report lost case. But when received 2 days later the case had the handle smashed off and the locks broken and the shell of the case damaged..

The case is now useless and a replacement is £80.00 plus for a similar replacement.

We have tried to report this on line, to be told the matter is in hand.

Having heard nothing from you we spoke to out travel Agency who said I should make a clam on this route.

Our case ticket numbers are [protected] and [protected] all under the name of Rich the flight details seq nr o98 mrhrcl goi 06 Jan 19 3/69
|Paris CDG.

Since returning have been unwell and not been able to follow up this claim.

Qatar Airways delayed flight

Respected sir,
I am a medical student who travels from Cochin, india to varna, Bulgaria on 17th January 2019. My flight was at 3:35 am from Cochin even though the flight take off at the right time it takes about 40 min more to reach Doha there was only 1 hour layover in Doha and I need to catch my flight to Sofia even though my flight was 40 min late your respected officers were not there to take me to the next flight and I missed my flight to Sofia . I got stuck in Doha for 1 long day as there was only a single flight on each day . The main issue is that I had a university semester exam on the very next day and I missed that exam so now I need to pay money to appear for that exam in the next time .I know Qatar airways is the best airlines in the world and you will definitely give me appropriate compensation .So I kindly request you to accept this complaint expecting your reply

Qatar Airways mishandled baggage. lies and delay by melbourne qatar airways staff

We flew back to australia in early october 2018. My baggage was delayed by 40 hours. When it was finally delivered to our home one of the bags was clearly tempered with as the tough plastic wrap was fully removed. My husband asked the driver if he has any documents from the customs confirming the need to remove protective wrap from the bag - and he said "no." he also said that he received the bags in that exact condition and left. When I unpacked the bags a few items were missing (including an apple macbook charger, beats headphones, a book and some souvenirs). Also, one of the suitcases's handles was damaged after that trip. I reported this immediately the dnata (agency that handles bags at melbourne airport). They opened a case of mishandled baggage but soon passed it to one of the qatar officials at melbourne airport - antonoius gunawan. Initially he made me feel confident that he will deal with this, but very soon he started delaying everything - kept asking for the same documents multiple times, asking for quotes, not replying to messages, then passing it to someone else etc etc... After two month of no answers or compensation and my multiple emails antonious gunnawan wrote to me to say that according to their investigation there were no change in weight in my bag and melbourne airport staff confirmed that all three bags were wrapped. So, I questioned the credibility of the driver who delivered the bags and asked for the proof of weight between moscow (dme) and melbourne airports. He simply just ignored it. Qatar employees also failed to advise that I have to take my damaged bag to a certain shop. Antonius told me about it after two months since I lodged a claim. Qatar airwais never informed about the compensation for my delayed baggage as I had to buy some necessary things for me and my daughter. Because of qatar airway I missed the deadline with my travellers insurance claim. Absolutely unprofessional and dodgy service by qatar airways melbourne staff especially antonious gunawan. He is either lying about the fact that bags arrived fully wrapped or covering someone else's lies. Outrageous. Do not trust qatar airways. Take pictured of your bags before and after.

Qatar Airways missing miles

Qatar airways stalled 3 weeks to add my husband passport and our marriage certificate not to add to our account his travel miles from Amman - Doha - Mozambique in business class.
They say they have a 30 days rule about adding the ticket but they stalled until the time for mile claiming ran out.
I kept sending customer care email for this reason and they always reply more than 72 hours later.
Many requests, first about my information not being uploaded, then my husbands to add him as family member.
I just want his miles that they conveniently waited long enough for these not to be valid.

Attached some emails .
And actually called twice to Qatar head office from Mozambique, the last time 3 days ago and had to wait on line for 40 minutes in line just for them to ask me to call again in 2 days and today i got the email saying that we wont have our miles.

Qatar Airways my ticket

Good morning,
It's my second time I am sending email to Qatarairline. I believe it's world best airline and very helpful customs service. I told already I got problem at the Islamabad and I couldn't travel with my flight 13/12/2018 at 03.05 am. I explained my reason and my current situation as well. I wish that I have bought one new ticket from Qatar airline to refund me as they know I am doing it again. I know there was not any fault by Qatar airline but I know when passenger have problems like this so airline help them out and give them new flight. I sincerely purchased again ticket only from Qatar airline because it's world best airline and I know they will help me to refund my ticket .I will wait for the reply.in attachment I put my new and old ticket photos.

have to agree qatar not as good as you think. i broke my wrist and was unable to fly, i contacted them, via email and phone giving them doctors letters etc but to no avail, all i got was "thank you for your understanding", no proper answer. i re-booked my flight but can't get an answer as to why the re-booking fee was so high $343.24. (the price of the ticket was the same as the original). i booked direct with qatar. kris meade australia

Qatar Airways candidate advance zone not working

Dear Qatar Airways,

Good Morning,

Just 2 days before i got my offer letter in the field of CARGO AND BAGGAGES TRANSPORT DRIVER : 8695863. (Pakistan)

In my offer letter they told me to submit your documents along with your offer letter through Candidate Advance Zone, but unfortunately candidate Advance zone was not opening (receiving a message that your email and password incorrect.

As submitting the documents last date is 14th Decmenber 2018.

Please help me out as im very much worried about that.

Qatar Airways my gratuity

I have recently resigned from the company due to personal problems at home. I explained this to my manager. I had others issues at work which I didn't want to raise upon my resignation such as racism and favoritism which persists throughout the organization. But that's none of my business. Today I received my gratuity after two years and 9 months of service which amounted to nothing to be honest. This is complete fraud. I don't want to blame the company yet. I want to blame the people whom I delt with in HR separations today the 6th of December 2018. It's an embarrassment to sign a hand written document that I have to copy out myself. While in the official documents the amount that I had received was not recorded. I saw this and kept quite because everyone in that room seem to know what is going on and they are all in on it. It's useless to complain to them, they disregard everything. They even set you up to leave on Friday or Saturday because then offices will be closed and you won't have a chance to raise your issues to the relevant authorities because it's a weekend. I mean when I joined the company I signed official documents with the company logo and everything. Everything was done professionally. Now when I sign to receive what was promised to me on my contract i have to sign some shady papers. This is so low, it's beyond my comprehension. I received one riyal per day for my service. Hahahaha this is a joke. But the sad is that it's not funny, I would to see that part in my contract. If this is how things are done in this company then it's the most exploitative company there is. But if not, you have criminals in your corporation and they are stealing from the people whom they deem to be weak and vulnarable. But I'm not poor, I come from South Africa, I came here to see the world and experience a different culture not because I was starving and will to sell my soul for anything. Even people who work in grocery stores back home get better detailed statements for their service. This is appalling, disgusting and an embarrassment. Anyone with some brains please view the statement which I received and tell me if that makes sense to you. Anyways I know nothing will happen. What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger. You could have asked for the money if you all are that desperate, I would have been more than happy to give it to you all because your level of desparation is worrying. Honestly, I have never seen such and I don't think I will ever see such again in my life. Everyone in my family was flying Qatar airways because I used to work for you all and I never spoke about you all negatively but now you have crossed the line my friends, no one that I know will ever fly Qatar airways again, I will make sure of that, even if it's one person I will be satisfied. I can't wait for you all to escorts me out of your country like a criminal after serving you all to the best of my ability because that's how you treat us after robbing us here. Quite frankly I don't want any payments from you people, I'd starve to death if I must but you can keep it, you need it more than I do, I don't want anything to do with you all. Ever ever again.

Qatar Airways spelling amendment

We bought a return ticket from IZMIR to KUALA LUMPUR from QATAR AIRWAYS website. The connecting flight from Istanbul-Izmir was a different airline, a local airline. The ticket cost USD605. We later realised there was a 2 alphabet mistake in the surname and we requested QATAR AIRWAYS to amend the surname. We were shocked when QA told us we had to pay a cancellation fee of USD460! Almost the price of the entire ticket and to buy a new ticket . The reason being they are unable to amend the spelling because other airlines are involved . How is it that the airline is unable to amend the spelling if we bought everything from QA website? Is it our choice that other airlines are involved.? It is the agreement between QA and the local airlines. When we purchase a ticket from QA website we only deal with QA... This is really really ridiculous .

Qatar Airways delayed flights

I flew to Warsaw almost 20 hours later. I should have landed on August 12 at 20.25 but landed on August 13 at 16:17 by delaying the QR 973 and QR 261 flight. My suitcase was destroyed. The stiffening of the suitcase was broken. I am asking you to pay the compensation of 600 EUR for a delayed flight and 50 EUR compensation for a damaged suitcase. In the event of a negative response to my complaint, I will submit a complaint on the Qatar airline to the Civil Aviation Authority.

Our flight was delayed in Johannesburg on the 27th of October --- our trip was going to San Francisco via Doha and Chicago. Your staff in Doha was very kind to us and re-routed us to go via JFK instead of Chicago because we had missed all our flights because of the delay in Joburg. An employee of Qatar Airways at JFK Airport --- Aklima -- was extremely rude to us. She talked down to us and told us that she was doing us a favor to even attend to us. Her behavior was the direct opposite of what your airline stand for. I did tell her that I was going to lay a complaint and she told me that that was up to me. Please address this...Aklima's attitude is very bad for your great reputation.

Qatar Airways flight qr0036- bhx to doha

Dear Sir
The following 5 people booked to travel from BHX to Amritsar on 19th October 2018 - 28th October 2018. The following people are making the following complaint about your airline and are seeking compensation.

They boarded flight QR0036at 8.25 am uk time and took off at 9.00am UK time. At 12 am uk time Kamaljit, Jasvinder received a breakfast of scrambled eggs and a cob with fruit and water, the other 3 passengers in this group did not receive any breakfast and were advised by the crew that there was NO MORE BREAKFASTS left, even though they had all booked meals on the flight they were not all seated in the same area. The three passengers requested some food several times from different crew and would have been happy with anything to be bought out as they were very hungry and Mr Chana is Diabetic and required food to stabilize his sugar level. All crew denied this and they were advised to deal with it. There was not enough food on the two other passengers (his wife and daughters to share between 5 people so therefore Mr chana, Mrs Manku and Mrs Panesar had no food from 8.30 am - 3 pm UK time.

During the course of this flight not only were they not given any food but they requested drinks several times and the crew failed to attend to their requests of water or juice. At this point they were becoming hydrated and dizzy. Miss chana approached staff and requested some snacks; she was refused and asked to sit down by your female crew.

At approx. 4 pm UK time flyers were given a pastry and hot drink yet again, 3 members received this in the party and again 2 did not. Yet again there was not enough food to be shared even though Mr and Mrs chana shared a pastry and small tea, a few sips each if that.

AGAIN they were advised there was not enough food on the flight therefore nothing could be done, even though they had been advised Mr chana suffers with diabetes this was simply ignored. During the flight whilst going to the toilet Miss chana and her mum Mrs Chana who were waiting for the toilet at the end of the plane observed the crew sitting and eating a large meal with hot beverages. Mrs chana approached the crew and asked them if they could give some to the other 3 people in their group as they were starving. She was advised the food was for crew only!

My Father and 2 aunties were famished when they got off the plain at Doha, my father arrived in India with his sugar levels so high that he was bed ridden for 2 days after due to the fact that he was not given any food or beverages during the flight which already set off his sugar issues.

The service and attitude was absolutely appalling to make 4 pensioners suffer a 7-hour journey with NO FOOD, WATER OR COMPASSION.

WE ARE looking for full compensation on this matter as all three passengers were treated really badly, made to suffer and dehydrate on a flight that is supposed to offer a 5 * service. Your female staffs attitude is really bad and how can an airline not have sufficient food for passengers. This is not acceptable especially since it had a knock on effect with My fathers health to the point here it took 4 days to manage his sugar levels and caused my family undue stress over this.

Compensation in full is what we require back for ALL 5 passengers and we are lodging a complaint with EMAILflights.com who we booked through, They advised us to complain to you directly.

Qatar Airways travel agency

To whom it may concern,
I miss my travel to Australia from Iran at 23 October 2018 with the attached details. My father got brain stroke and went to comma condition and I had no choice except stay with him and I was so confused and not aware how should I cancel the travel. Complaint about a unprofessional ground staff Mr Ayman Kaskas

Qatar Airways unethical behaviour

Dear sirs, on October 09, 2018 the passengers Iris Marisa Maxaieie Victorino and Italo Victorino Langa (infant) with electronic tickets number [protected] and [protected] respectively were prevented from traveling from Maputo to Milan by the head of Qatar at Maputo airport, Mrs. Ester, for allegedly failing to produce the necessary documents to enter in the Italian territory and were advised to apply for a visa at the Italian embassy in Maputo. The respective passports, old residence permits (both valid until 22.09.18), a renewal receipt (which, according to the Italian embassy contacted by telephone at the time and according to the Italian immigration at the time of renewal of the residence permit, was the only document necessary to enter and leave Italian territory until the new residence permits were issued). I therefore kindly request a formal document referring the reason to refuse the above mentioned passengers to travel by Qatar airlines in order to formally submit a complaint to the Italian immigration office for all the inconveniences caused. Without further I address my best regards waiting for your reply as soon as possible.
A fisic document was submitted to Maputo's Qatar office.

Qatar Airways stopover accommodation

The events are as follows:
1.            I booked a return ticket from DELHI to Barcelona directly with Qatar Airways Online booking engine on Feb 22nd for 2 persons. Under their terms and conditions, Transit accommodation for business class travelers is offered if stopover time exceeds  8 hours.
This service may be available if all the following conditions apply:
•             There is no connection of less than eight hours available;
•             The transit time in Doha is between eight and 24 hours;
•             The booking does not include flights to or from Kuwait (KWI) or Muscat (MCT).
2.            During check-in Delhi on March 5th, I enquired about the stopover accommodation arrangements in Doha on the return sector from Barcelona to Delhi. I was advised by their staff that this would be done when we land in Doha on our return sector.
3.            Again, when checking in during our return from Barcelona, I asked their staff about the stopover accommodation arrangements during transit in Doha, and was advised that I was to proceed to the transfer desk on arrival, and they will make arrangements.
Our flight from Barcelona arrived in Doha at 6am on March 13th, and our next and only connecting flight to Delhi was at 8:05pm the same  day - approximately 14 hour later
4.            However when we  arrived at the desk, we were advised that they cannot offer any transit hotel accommodation, since they already had a flight to Delhi at 2 am the same day to Delhi - This means that although we landed at 6am, almost 4 hours after the last flight left Doha for Delhi, they refused to honour  the terms listed on the website and their printed rules by misinterpreting the rules.
5.            I was then advised that some other 25 passengers were also affected by this unfair interpretation of their rules, and which is also against the  fair practice and industry practice observed by other airlines.

Qatar Airways gst updation in ticket in india for business travellers

Hi,

This is to bring notice to all concerns that due to unorganized process of GST updation of qatar airways, customers are loosing lot of amount.

There is no proper way where customers can update there GST no and get GST invoice. Only way is to get it update on call and there is no proof of same with customer. Also, customer doesn't receive any acknowledgement for updation of gst no.

So customer finally misses the credit because of inefficient process at Qatar Airways, also we are trying to get proper response since more than three months but, no one in Qatar is taking responsibility. They are just transferring call to another desk.

Request for setting up a practical and efficient system for GST Updation. where in customers can mail there GST detail and also receive confirmation of GST updation.
