Olive Garden 2 large white pills in my sauce

On September 22, 2018, we were at the Lake Charles, La. Olive Garden restaurant. I ordered the chicken scampi with an extra cup of sauce. When I received my food, there was not any extra sauce. The waiter said that he had put that order in and would go back and check on it. He came back saying the cook would have to make more because there was not any more sauce. The others in my group were almost finished eating when my cup of sauce arrived. I poured it out onto my pasta, and 2 large white pills were in the sauce. I don't know what else was in the sauce that I could not see. A manager was called to our table. He said the pills probably fell off of a shelf. He left our table and never returned to tell us anything else. After paying, I filled out the survey telling what happened with the pills. Later, the inspector for Louisiana Health Department told me, that someone had changed my statements on the survey.

Olive Garden all you can eat soup and salad

Three of us went to the Olive Garden At Triadelphia, WV on Monday 10/22, before going to the movies. We ordered the unlimited soup and salad. When we ordered or second bowl of soup ( 2 of us had the same soup) the waitress came back and said they were just filling up the pot, and no soup was available. I find that odd, especially because it was two different soups. We were not offer the other soups. This was around 6:30 at night. I would have thought you wouldn't be out of soup that early. Surprised and Disappointed

Olive Garden extremely rude manager and bad policy

My wife, son and I went to Olive Garden a few weeks ago. My son dropped one of his retainers out of his case, but he did not realize it. Once we got the realized what had
happened. My wife called the manager to ask if anyone had found the retainer. The manager rudely told her that OUR POLICY is to throw out retainers immediately ! We would never save anything like that for anytime.

The retainer cost $250 dollars to replace, and so between the cost and abruptness of your manager this was doubly painful. We shall never be eating at Olive Garden again.
We shall inform our friends of what happened. An apology should be a minimum course of action.

Olive Garden the food that was received made my mother and grandmother sick

Last night me and my family chose to eat at the local Olive Garden.The service was some of the best we have ever had there, yet when my mother first received her soup there was a hair in it. When they brought her out a replacement soup they claimed that it was supposed to be fresh and hot, yet when it arrived at the table it was cold. She requested broccoli to make up for the soup and there was no seasoning in it at all. She also obtained diarrhea from the food which is making it difficult for her to work. As for me my spaghetti tasted nothing like it usually does instead of its normal savory taste. It had a old bland taste despite the meat sauce on it. We brought my grandmother home some food since she was unable to eat out with us and it made her nauseous.

Olive Garden inappropriate termination

After working for Olive Garde for two years, I was terminated as a server on October 15th. The reason is ridiculous but the part that makes me upset is how it was handled. This is what occurred:

Two hours into my shift, one of my customers was my brother and sister-in-law. Everything was going great but as they were checking out I noticed she had hardly touched her drink, our new special Spiked Strawberry Leomonade. When I asked her if something was wrong with it, she said it didn't taste right. I offered to get it removed or another drink but she said she was fine. She asked if I had tasted one yet and I told her I hadn't . She asked me to take a sip and tell her what I thought. I told her I couldn't in front of guests but would when I returned to the bar. When I returned the drink I took a sip to taste it. Our GM Tony Brown was standing right there. He asked me what I was doing and I explained the situation. He was livid that I had the sip, in fact later told me I should have asked him if I could. I told him I wasn't aware I needed to. But the big part was when I went into the kitchen and he yelled in front of everyone that he had to let me go for drinking on the job and another server would take over my table. In front of everyone . After working in the professional field for thirty years even I'm aware he should have asked me to step into his office to tell me this. It was very unprofessional! I explained again I did as requested, not to have a drink. He had me fill out a sheet explaining what happened. I loved working with the customers and co-workers, and respected the management. Not so much anymore. I feel he needs some further training himself from Human Resources.

With all the volunteering I do with community services and various clubs I'm involved in since retiring, many people will hear about this incident. All though so far many have laughed with my "drinking on the job", knowing I'm not much of a drinker.

Olive Garden food products/service

On October 18, 2018, my family visited the Olive Garden Store #1021 which was a bad experience. First, we had to wait about 20 minutes for bread sticks although we were told 3 minutes (as we watched others nearby receive fresh bread sticks). Next, we placed our orders and two children meals were ordered and the waitress Jiordan asked if we wanted the children drinks in kids or regular cups. One was kids and the other regular. We ordered 3 soup, salad, and bread sticks and an order of alfredo dipping sauce We received our salad and still no bread sticks. We finally got our first bowls of soup and all were cold! We sent back for a different kind Tuscana and it was watered down more so that it was running over the sides of the bowl. It had no flavor and it was cold. We only received one round of bread sticks the entire night for 5 people. It took a long time to receive a second refill of salad. Our waitress would come out to check on the surrounding tables and walk by our table and never would acknowledge us there. Since it seems that we never was going to receive any salad, breadsticks, nor hot soup we asked for our tickets so that we could leave. We were surprised at our prices because we never saw the price on the menu for the soup, salad, and bread sticks. The Manager (Her name was Sherita, not sure) could not even tell us the cost of the soup, salad, and bread sticks either. We were charged $10.99 and had we known that was the price, then we would have ordered an entree instead. . We were charged for a soft drink instead of as a child size. The waitress had suggested this, therefore I don't know why she still charged a child for a large drink. I was overcharged for the alfredo sauce and when I brought it to the waitress attention, she just stated, "Oh that is how it rung up and walked off. I was charged $7.49 and the menu stated $5.49. I finally caught her and asked for a manager. The waitress corrected the soft drink and when the manager came over she corrected the overcharge amount of the alfredo sauce. It was hard to tell if she corrected it because the ticket the Manager brought back was hard to see because the ink was running out. I was very disappointed because this was a reward special night for my children.

Olive Garden food and not offered the daily special.

I ordered takeout at the springfield oh location and was never offered the daily special I didnt know about it till the same person took another to go order and offered it to them gave them extra discount for waiting so long they even got their food before me. When I got my food she said there is freash bread it didn't have the seasoning on it and my lasagna was very small it wouldn't full up a young child. The salad was good but for i also got ziti pasta and it was cold for us to spend 30.00 dollars it was a horrible experience.

Olive Garden food

My family and I visited the Greenville location on Sunday. The food was not good at all. There was no flavor at all, the shrimp were hard and there was little to no sauce on the noodles. I took the pasta home and had my mom add seasoning to make the meal bearable to eat. My son did not eat the pizza and my mom did not eat her chicken pasta. Our waitress was great.

Olive Garden service and management

My wife and I just left the Olive Garden in Temple and may or may not ever revisit. Let me detail why: it took an excessively long time to get our soup. I finished my meal, which was not the best chicken, while waiting on my wife's order which was first incorrect. I spoke with the manager on this issue. Telling me "we all make mistakes" is not very good service recovery in my book. The Temple restaurant services is growing at an alarming rate, so the above issues need to be resolved/addressed.

Olive Garden food

We went to get the pumpkin cheesecake but it was sorely disappointing when they came out with a chocolate pumpkin cheesecake and told us afterwards the one we wanted was no longer available. This new chocolate pumpkin cheesecake is absolutely awful and I will never order it again. The one olive garden has had out the last few years is the one that had been amazing and I believe I should have been told that the product had changed when I ordered it not after they brought it to the table. Then I would not have wasted my money. The pumpkin cheesecake is the whole reason we went and to find out it had changed to something so awful after we had already been served made me very angry.

Olive Garden manager

I went to the Olive Garden 1372 on 9280 E Roosevelt Blvd. last Friday 10/5/18. We had ordered create 3 appetizers and had to send back the stuffed mushrooms because they were bad with a fishy smell. Ok I get it, things happen. Our waitress who did a fabulous job said that the manger would take if off the check. I had a coupon for a free birthday dessert so the manager came over looked at the coupon and said that he would take it off the check. The check arrives and the dessert is still on there but the app. was taken off I had a gift card so the bill said $19 and some change. I called the waitress over to let her know that the dessert was not taken off and she said that she would get the manager to handle it. After 20 minutes she comes back and the bill is now $23.01 more that the last bill and it should have been less after he takes off the dessert. I wait another 20 minutes for the manger to come over and now I am getting a little frustrated because it was not that busy. The manger told me that he took off the appetizer instead of the dessert and I explained to him that he should have because went back the mushrooms back because they were bad. He did not care and did not take it off. This is very disappointing since me and my kids go there at least once a month. I think that I should be refunded my entire amount of my check or a gift card for my next visit. The manager should not have argued with me over the app and by this time I already waited 40 min to resolve the issue with my check which was longer than getting our meals and eating them. ck#827931 Waitress Alisha

I just want to say that we went to olive garden last night with my family from Canada they would not take a reservation even that it was for 17 people but said call ahead and we did they would sit us as fast as they could I warned them I had diabetics 2 that had to eat 2 children one an epileptic the other with cerebral palsey about 10 yr olds they said they would. do their best for 6. 30 PM well by 8.00pm we had not. they offered free appetizers nothing for a child stuffed mushrooms etc. Now they finally sat us after many people with parties of six or eight were sat when they could have put tables together to sit my party of 17 well Amy one of the managers and Katie another managers were kind enough to give us a 100 dollar gift certificate to use for the meals and they tried hard to make us happy then a black girl named tammy I think was our server she worked hard but was upset at the tip I gave her well I was not aware that tips were mandatory and you can imagine how I felt after this circus not at all in a mood to tip as I would normally please forgive my ranting on but I am still a bit upset I will never bring anyone to olive garden again this was olive garden in Dartmouth ma thank you for letting me vent

Olive Garden discrimination

I walked into the Olive Garden where they were snickers and discriminatory comments made as I walked in they made me wait over 30 minutes for a meal and they serve everybody in less than five minutes there were some mention about something being done to my food and the reason why they were doing it so that I wouldn't return this is 2018 all people are allowed in restaurants this discrimination is disgusting and terrible nobody should feel like they can't come to a place and eat happily The waiters made it seem like it was a problem in the bag but I was the only one who receive that problem nobody else's fault was late I was looking at all the people that surround me and they all got their food one time including the entire restaurant I was the only person that did not get their food one time and had to wait over 30 minutes

I highly doubt your story. Most businesses are made up of people of all races and for all of them to turn on you is highly unlikely.
This restaurant cooks food to order so NO ONE got their food in 5 min.
So if you are saying that they told you they were going to do something to your food and yet you stayed? You didn't call the police, the local news, or local health department?
Nah, I think you had a bad experience or perceived bad experience and now you want to make it a "race" issue.

Olive Garden take home service

My husband and I came in for dinner recently and had a nice time. My husband was suppose to take home an order of spaghetti and meatballs. When we got home, he was very disappointed to find out it was an order of cheese ravioli. We would of brought it back but we live over an hour away, and yes, we come that far to enjoy Olive Garden.

Olive Garden to go order

I went into restaurant and placed a to go order. While I waited for my order at the bar I ordered a drink.

When I got my to go order I sat there another 5 minutes and then left. I was so hungry as I had not eaten all day so took a breadstick out of my to go bag on the way home and was instantly disappointed with the first bite. The breadstick was not only dry but was as hard as a rock. My favorite thing in the whole meal and I was so disappointed! I'm guessing it was a leftover from lunch? Or, it was overcooked although it doesn't look it. They will find s pls fix in Ghana trash bag as soon I get home. I would think OG has some sort of policy on food?

Olive Garden poor “reheated” food?

I went to Olive Garden at West Springfield MA route 5 today. The last time before today that I visited was about three or four years ago and I was very disappointed. The bread was old with one side hard. The drink taste like they didn't put any alcohol in it and the food that I order, chicken Alfredo, make me go to the bathroom, which that never happened before when I ate here... also they're cheap with the salad... too bad they're not as good as before. I will never go back again. I'm afraid that all the Olive Garden chain might have change for the worst... not so fresh

Olive Garden general manager

I find it very insulting that your general manager can walk around and speak to people in the restaurant. We are sitting there and she can walk by us like we were not even there. Asking how is every thing on and on.
We had to wait on drinks several times. The bread we got was hard my lasagna had a hair in it so I did not finish my meal. The waitress said I was trying to get back to your table there was so many people in my way. She meet us as we where leaving to pay. We had not even got our ticket to pay.

This was at lunch on Sunday. After paying $40.00 for a meal this is pitiful. Checkers could have done better.

Olive Garden service

Went for my friends 55 th birthday. There was 8 in our party. Went on October 5th 2018. I've never had such lousy service. Asked for another bowl of soup never brought it. Asked again, 40 mins went by. Never got it. Left hungry and had to stop and get something to eat. I give this establishment a thumbs down. I will never go to Olive Garden again. Very unsatisfied with this restaurant. Will let my friends know if they want great customer service this restaurant is not the one. 👎👎👎

Olive Garden supervisors

Hi, my name is lakeisha Price and I've been working with Olive Garden for 3 years now and recently I have been on suspension for a week for a guy pulling my hair assaulting me. So this past Monday I was called up to the job for them to terminate me . I don't feel as of I should have been terminated because I only retaliated back cause the guy had me in a corner headlock pulling my hair. So I really would like to get more information on what I should take action next? I've been out of job for week &half now and struggling to find work. I'm a hard-worker and shouldn't have been treated unfairly by those supervisors.

Olive Garden poor service

Last night we went to the Olive Garden at Southlake Mall in Jonesboro GA for my husband's birthday. It was the worst customer service we have ever experienced - we had a party of six (five adults and one child) - we sat for twenty to thirty minutes before the server ever came to take our drink order. We were at the restaurant for 50 minutes seated and they still had not brought our salad or bread. After one hour they brought our entree and said they had to bake more bread and fix the salads! (we still had no salad or bread). They never offered to refill our drinks - we had to ask for more to drink and we were only drinking tea and water. When we had finished our entrees they brought out the salad and bread. We asked for more to drink and they finally brought refills as we were leaving. The bill was $101 dollars and change. My husband paid it and we left. It was terrible service and we were really shocked by the overall experience.

Olive Garden points scheme

Hi, we are visiting from the UK and because we love what Olive Garden do we visited the Williamsburg branch and there we signed up to the rewards scheme. However as we went from place to place we found that no one else was signed up to the points scheme, even tough they all had the little terminals on the tables asking you to join the eclub. We saved all of our receipts hoping to find one where we could register our purchases. We got to Orlando to find that no one in the city has signed up to the points scheme. So I am left with receipts from Garner / Cary, Myrtle Beach, Charleston and Savannah and no one will credit the points, please help me. Kindest Regards Paul Robbins
