My 81 year old Grandmother, somewho authorized for 10 new magazines. But doesnt remember doing this, she said she did not call anyone to order magazines. So I called this National Magazine Exchange just like the letter that we received says. They said that on April 08, 2009 she authorized them to charge her credit card in the amount of 67.08. The letter says "Orders may be cancelled within 7 days from receipt of this letter by writing or calling customer service.". Well, This letter was written on April 8th and according to the envelope that it came in, it was not mailed until April 14th. Then we received this on April 16th. I called April 17th to cancel. i was told that i could not cancel because this is what she agreed to . Then i spoke with someone else and she said what she could do is refund 1/2 of the 1st payment. and only mail out the 3 out of the 10 magazines for 1 year. I feel that this company is wrong and Per their letter of confirmation letter it states that we should be able to cancel this. I feel a full refund should have been submitted and the order to be canceled as requested.

I enter sweepstakes often and have won prizes in the past... of course not this amount of money. I have learned it is important to look at a sweepstakes notification and/or entry very carefully. upon winning in the past, the company sponsoring the sweepstakes sent me a letter on company letter head with the sponsoring company address and phone number. this was my first tip that this notification may be a scam. no letter head.

This is the second notification i've received from this company. the first stated that I had already won the money and now they send notification stating "if my number is selected"
I really wish there was a sweepstakes police to report and shut down this type of hook or come on. its sad to think some people are taken in by them and loose hard earned cash.

I too received a second notice never knew I had a first, immediately look at these as scams especially coming from clearwater fl. there about as honest as a 3 dollar bill. never see a list of big winners, yes nothing to buy but they don't leave it there if you call them. no body can give out millions of dollars with out taking in dollars unless its some rich billionaire needing to excess doe for tax purposes. jesus said [your money and gold won't save you], so what will?, the only thing that will or can save you is the blood of christ, but how does one get that blood to day he died 2000 plus years ago. today how ever its still possible to receive the blood of jesus the 'christ' first you need to believe that he is the only begotten son of the god the father, hearing the word believing the word and obeying the word. what is the word. the word is jesus the word became flesh and dwelt among men during his time on earth he said he came to heal and save those that are lost. a fact is that sin separates us from god but jesus died via a crucification on a cross for all mankind because all have sinned and fallen short of god. one needs to put on christ via baptism an emerson under water confessing jesus as lord and savior arising as a new creature repenting of our sins calling on jesus as lord and savior he is the king of kings is god incarnate in the flesh and he is going to return soon unknown exactly when but each one must be prepared for his return as a time of testing is coming about those saved by the blood of christ may be spared the test. the blood of christ covers our sins so god the father sees not our sin but the blood of his son jesus who was crucified for us. there may not be a second notice before christ returns. so get ready today get baptized for remission of your sins. what are sins: killing, stealing, porn, forsaking the lord, adultery, gay life styles, anything, that is not holy in the lord. read the bible its the word given by god not by man but men moved by the holy spirit put to stone, papyrus, and paper god's holy word for all to live by, I could go on and on but you now got the message to be saved get baptized and repent.
