So typical Kroger. My BF works in one and I like nothing more than hearing all the goofy stories he brings home about the other employees. All I have to say is no wonder they're so surly! (except my BF who is an utter angel)

Kroger terminated without notice

I have been working for Kroger (store 255) for about two months. Everything from my stand point was going well because I hadn't received any negative feedback or write ups. I was asked if I could work another shift for a different department in which I haven't had any training in, however I was told the job would be easy so I took it. I did the work that was asked and left 2 hours early because I was told I could leave if I would like to if I finish early. The next day that departments lead told the manager that I didn't do anything which was false however the manager believed her claim. He confronted me and I stood my ground claiming that I did the job and reminded him he worked with me the same night so if anything was wrong he could have told. His reply was, "Im gone listen to what my lead tells me happened." Not even 2 hours later the General Manager as well as this department manager asked me to come into the office, where I was fired without any reasoning, warning, prior writes ups or any other kind of paper work.

Kroger kroger brand tortilla cupz

Today July 2, 2016 we purchased two bags of Tortilla Cupz at the 4900 Port Royal Road, Spring Hill, TN [protected]. After eating a few, the next one pulled out of the bag was stuck together inside one another. When I pulled them apart a white chicken feather covered with black specks of something. I saved the discussing item, took pictures, and tried to do a complaint on the phone but your office was closed. Printed on the bag is Best by Sep 26, [protected]:58. Net weight is 9.75 OZ. It appears the feather is baked into the corn chip. I think you need to recall this chips.

Kroger minute maid mango passion fruit light 15 calorie drink

I have requested this product several times . I have filled in request forms at the following locations : Hubbards lane (twice), Prospect, Shelbyville Road Middletown. This product was in a weekly ad dated May 29th. I checked several stores with no success . I requested this again from a enterouge of managers touring Hubbards Lane store the week of June 7th. A middle aged bald headed man with a Hispanic decent. I did not get his name. I gave them my name and phone number. I have yet to enjoy the courtesy of a return call! I will not return to your store. I'm sure my purchases will not be missed. There are a lot of new stores in my area that will offer better service. Respectfully, Steve Bennett [protected]. Kroger card #[protected]

Kroger meat and deli

Having shopped at kroger, 26130 gratiot, roseville, mi store my entire adult life, it has become a downward spiral!

Employees in the meat department must be clueless as to how to trim/cut meat! Odd shaped steaks and roasts with lots of fat left on! Ups the cost i'm sure, but what ever happened to customer service? Lazy, unhappy workers mumbling what they should be paid.. Etc... I really dont care!

The work ethic sucks! Sometimes an unhappy employee is not a productive one! Cutting cost usually results in the stores nearing end of operation! The writings on the wall... Come on kroger get it together and start providing customers with the service they deserve! These employees wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for us customers! Super disappointed with kroger!

Kroger krafts caramels

This item is carried in Krogers stores but is Never on the shelves! I purchas this item weekly for my diabetic son for insulin control so it isn't just a sugar craving! The store at 7300 Yankee Rd, Liberty Twp, Oh 45044 is where I shop and no one I have spoken to has an answer as to the constant emptiness of the spot marked on the shelf. Is it possible to place a special order or do I have to resort to AMAZON .

Kroger getting fired unjustly

I called out for 4 shifts (which is completely ok) because of finals. I called on a Sunday saying I am not showing up for these certain days. When I go to clock in next Sunday, they tell me I am fired for not calling out those days, when in reality, I did. They also did not try to communicate to me during that week. So to sum it up, I got fired for something I didn't do and I got no warning/notice. I also have a call log proving that I called the store on that certain day.

Kroger mt. airy location - service

I have no idea what your plan is for this location but it is terrible.
Ever since you got rid of all the seasoned employees and brought in the new ones has made this place a disaster.
I spend 45 minutes navigating through the isles, trying to find everything on my list, which I didn't, to get in line - 1st one in the line and still waited 10 minutes for a cashier to come who, didn't even know how to run the register. Asked for cigarettes and the cashier told me to go to counter and get them. I went to counter only to be told I cannot get them the cashier must. Went back to line, put my card in to pay and, was told I could no longer hit the button for credit and had to enter pin. I have NEVER used a pin for this card. Was then told this is new practice.
Please, when you change a process for accepting payments, it would be a real nice gesture to post a sign on the doors when entering. I would not have wasted my time had I known.
This is not the first problem at this location. Again, ever since you changed the layout - which makes no sense by the way and, got rid of seasoned employees - wherever you brought these new ones from, you should send them back.
We have been Kroger shoppers for over 50 years and I will never, ever, spend another dime at a Kroger.

Respectfully,
Debi Cobb

Kroger pharmacy champion forest - houston, tx

3/31 I saw my physician for medication for travel. I took the prescription to my pharmacy and was told that they were out of stock. I was also told that they would not order the medication because it was for a small amount. I was actually told to go to either CVS or Walgreen's to get my script. My spouse works for the Kroger Distribution Center and CVS and Walgreen's are not in our insurance network. I have written to the Pharmacy Manager and my Kroger Prescription Insurance. I still have not had a reply.
We are told we are part of the Kroger family and this doesn't feel like it when employees of stores treat you like a number. We are finding more and more that the stores keep less stock of certain medications and we understand but do not tell your customers to go to your competitor's, order the medication as the physician prescribed, regardless of the amount.

This is standard practice for any pharmacy that has a slow moving drug. When you only sell 30 in a six month period, and you have to order 240 at a time, it is not cost effective to buy it. They did great customer service sending you to a pharmacy that keeps the drug on hand.

Kroger management

I was hired with Kroger in the Click List department.I was told if I worked hard I would get hours.

I get 10-20 a week. I noticed a few gals with 30 hours a week. I heard they are friendly with the manager. I notice they get hours and sit around and do nothing while I am sent home.

They eat and drink in the back while I have to waste my time going to the break room. I was told customers are priority. I help all I can but it affects my average. I heard one guy helped a disabled man and the manager was furious with him because his average was like 10 items for the hour. The manager bonus is on us get close to 90 units an hour. I have 59 because I interact with customers. The maps they give us is wrong. I write up the mistakes but are never fixed.

There are rules for some and then rules for gals who will do anything. I am married and I will not do that for more hours. I am looking for something else. When it busy we get people from other departments instead of giving people like me hours.

When it is slow I come in for a few hours and sent home.

I am not given a chance to work in other departments. This store is not union but it should be.

Kroger tostitos salsa

I purchased a 24oz bottle and when I opens it I discovered a crust on the outside of the lid. This is not the first time I have had issues with this store. We have purchased packaged meat that we didn't notice had an expired date on it on it. We have had other similar purchases that had us going to.the Anderson store or Wal-Mart. This store is the worse and it is only time until something serious happens. I like kroger and would hate to see it's reputation go.the bc way of Chipotly.

What will it take to get this store up to FDA standards?

Kroger - debit cards

Went to Kroger on 03/12/16 and tried to use my debit card as credit. I was told that I had to use a pin number with a chip card. The cashier told me that all stores were going to this practice and the manger said the debit card needed a pin number or it would not work. I do not believe this to be accurate. On the same day I went to several stores and used...

Kroger interviewing process

I had an interview for Kroger's in Kokomo IN on Dixon street on 03/04/16, the Co-Manager(Travis) that interviewed me sized me up before I could have a seat for the initial interview. As the interview process begin he asked me a couple of questions about myself in which he was given feedback but through the five minute(yes five) interview the only thing he was stressing about whether I was a good fit for Kroger. First off, I have over 20 years of customer service background in which I currently have a job in that department, I have worked for major grocery stores that are three times bigger than Kroger in major cities, I have a pharmacy tech back ground along with again countless years of cashier history so its kind of hard for me to grasp what he means when he says " a good fit". I'm not angry about the situation but I just thought that was funny coming from a country town grocery store manager who doesn't have a clue about progress in the grocery store business nor is not an approachable person to interview potential applicants for a job.

Kroger got complained about at and after 2 days got asked to leave kroger

At 10:17 pm, I went to Kroger of North point drive. And thought it better explained. A few years since I caught a few butchers get complaints of ribeyes being substituted with flank meat and steak ends up uneatable after 28 counts of falsefying ribeyes and immediately let the manager know about the steaks. The managed worked upon my information and recordings of overhearing the butchers say that his freezer was filled up and the older lady at Kroger was the butchers friend..That's how I found out the information was true and she is the criminal mastermind behind the thefts of ribeye steaks or she knows who did steal those steaks..And I am trying to move back into that area and have been harassed by this lady? And I also broke a story for WTVD 11 News, of the man at JFK towers that committed suicide with an oxygen tank? And work closely with Kathy Mentha of the news team..I had worked with Kroger in the past and these are disgruntled workers that had to call police to ask me to leave because I told her that she is wrong my first coffee was at 10:17pm and the rest of the time I used M.R.Eat coffee between the 9.22 hours I had to wait to get coffee if I waited for her to make any coffee and she made excuses as to why she didn't have to search anyone coffee and continued on with her meaness..to me and other customers in the store..?I don't understand this kind of aptitude problem..With Durham people but loving Kroger but not the 2nd and 3rd shift there at Kroger should be a mandatory retraining of the customer service for the entire store. That is what I'm suggesting and asking be done so the whole store would prosper from a retraining. Most Durham Kroger workers would pick up where they left off in training..And for the record; it was I that saved Kroger hundred of dollars in revenue. I was raised a cattle farmer. And was fought at a young age what a ribeye should and shouldn't look like. With that said, I fought the butchers falsefying ribeyes and putting them in their freezers at home. I went under cover for the proof and went to the manager with my findings...unlikely though you didn't get rid of this women working until the morning..which starts my problem with her..she complained to the manager yesterday and today about me getting coffee and made false complaints when I was sitting in the foyer waiting for my ride to come. I am totally and perminately disabled. And think a retraining of customer services for workers to customers should be mandatory to all the workers at the North point drive and since she is complaining on me she knows I got them busted. So there that's the whole story from start to finish. Thank you, but as long as she is at that store I will tell everyone to never go to Kroger for their shopping and should be shut down..thank you sirs and have a nice day. Mr. Howerton of Durham.

Kroger frontend

This is such a clean wonderful store love the customers. It is the management that needs to be completely taken out and new management brought in. They have to many people on the front end who wants to act like managers. Some of the people who wear the red vest can care less about what goes on. They all sit around talking about their cashiers. I worked for many retail stores in my life and this is the worse store. If you do something wrong they do not correct you they just talk about you, how are you suppose to learn. Head management such as Casey and Patrick they have favorites that work the front end so they can do what ever they want. This store has some hard working cashiers that I see all the time but they don't acknowledge them. Please get rid of the management at this store and hire new management. I hate working for this place I want to leave before I clock in. The people here make you want to quit. I come in and remember that I'm good at my job and that they are not going to pay my bills so as soon as I find another job I'm out of here. Do not try to work for this store they are horrible. They need a reality check I hope all kroger is not like this I hope Wal-Mart moves into the old kmart store and takes all kroger employees

I Worked Kroger for longtime 743 store in Louisville i don't like when they hire new people as baggers and then they become cashier then they make them supervisors in a year or few month some cases they don't know what doing. ask them a question or can I take a break or lunch they get mad or make big deal out of it or just say you don't need a break most of them are very young I am old enough to their parents they treat me like garbage I think they should have to take test a hard test before you make them front end supervisor because most are horrible at their job anyway they don't know how to treat people or even customers also

Kroger my medications

My Kroger Pharmacy keeps running out of 2 of my pain medications all the time. They told me to call ahead so they can make sure to order more if they're running low but that doesn't work either. They kep giving it out to other customers and when I go in they're out again. It also takes them 3 business days to get an order in which seems long. I am stressed month that I might not get my meds. They send me to other Kroger's store out of my way or make me wait till I run out. I have always been nice to them but they refuse to order enough so they don't run out. I am in too much pain to run all over town to other stores and they say they're not allowed to order too much. Why does a new customer get my pills and patches when I've been a customer for 20 years? They keep apologizing but it's getting old (and so am I..)

I have the exact same problem at my Knoxville, TN Kroger pharmacy, with my asthma inhalers. The pharmacist told me they couldn't "afford" to keep them on hand, even though they are a very common medication, and critical to my breathing. He said he was only given a set budget to spend on drugs. I'm in the process of transferring all my prescriptions back to CVS, where I NEVER had this problem. Kroger Pharmacy, and their horrible central-fill procedure, cannot be counted on for standard, much-needed medications! Wait 3 days for critical medication? I've had enough, and suggest you go elsewhere, too.
