Hungry Jack's Australia employment

This is the truth about hungry jacks. This is the ugly truth.
Now I have been working at hungry jacks for roughly a year and some days it gets hard to find reasons not to [censored]. Not because I am clinically depressed or want to do but because it means escaping the abuse and hell that is hungry jacks. The management is abusive, and I genuinely get scared if I see specific customers. Some customers get abusive and threatening but nothing will beat the management. Management constantly forces you to break routine and pressures you to do the work of 3 people with zero mistakes. Management will always believe they are correct no matter what. You are expected to read their minds and perform what they wish without any indication they want you to. They will break regulations themselves and no one can stop them. There have been numerous complaints about the abusive management from customers and when I contacted human resources myself I was greeted with responses that make me believe no one cares about the workers or how they are treated. It would be logical for hungry jacks to employ full time therapists for the workers as there are too many workers who need it. At hungry jacks your well being is unimportant, and you are purely an object for making money. This is only part of the story

Hungry Jack's Australia very poor quality control

I posted last week about a very serious quality control issue with a frozen coke cup which split and EXPLODED all over the car and myself which could very easily have cut me or a child . Only after postimg this on facebook did Hungey Jacks contact me. NO call from the regional manager of the store as promised by the supervisor. I still have not been comoemsatimg for the cleaning of my car nor have a received any further contavt from them. Its nearly a week! Quite obviously HUNGRY JACKS do not care about their business or the public. If I do not receive another call from them today advising when i will be compemsated i will be contacting a lawyer and i am persinally postimg the evidemce to the ACCC. So hungry jacks, are you going to act now? I want the car cleaned. Im not even askinv for any other comoensation. So you decide where this will go HJ. I await...

Hungry Jack's Australia food and service

My partner went to Hungry Jack's to order some food and was told she had to wait because they were closed she waited 20 minutes and then was able to order she was treated poorly by the staff at the front counters and also by the manager upon returning home with the food it was cold tasted like cardboard was poorly made wasn't route nutritional at all and after calling the store to make a complaint I was put on hold three times and muted and spoken to rudely when they did answer could not understand the staff who answered the phone so I asked to speak to someone who spoke English and to the manager after speaking to the manager all he said was ha and if I was making a complaint to come to the store was a very rude and then put me on mute and hold again I believe this is not up to Hungry Jack's is protocols and standards I have not been treated so poorly in my 35 years of life yes it is fast food and cheap but that does not mean it has to be rude I am completely outraged and disgraced that I was treated this way and did not care less about my complaint my nutrition all my feelings I think the manager at the Hungry Jack's store on Hoddle Street in Richmond should be sacked immediately I don't think I will be visiting another Hungry Jacks ever again after a very poor and unbelievable I think the manager and the staff that were on duty that day have done Hungry Jack's a disc service and Hungry Jack's should be ashamed that they did not do adequate checks on their managers

Hungry Jack's Australia missing meals

Hungry Jack's on gnangara Rd. Ordered whopper meal small, nuggets bucket from penny pincher range and a 6nugget meal large, small chips and a cheesy cheeseburger. Was busy but I walked away thinking I was missing large chips, went back in and got them, drove home to discover I was also missing a the nugget bucket and 6 nuggets!
My bad for not noticing straight away but their bad for not checking the list properly.
also it's disgusting that water costs more than a fizzy drink with meals, it should be a water or cool drink at same price. Not all of us want fizzy syrup.
Shame on you hungry Jack's for not allowing a healthier option of drink at same price.

Hungry Jack's Australia stunner burger and chips

I asked for the Hash brown stunner burger meal and came home and no hash brown, the girl taking the order didn't listen and the chip were cold and over cooked and dry like sticks! Chipotle burger was also cold and very dry. When I rang to complain the Indian man said he will let the staff know but no offer of replacement meal! This is now the 2nd time we have ordered the burger with the hash brown and not received it and not at all impressed and will never return to any Hungry Jacks! Customer service is appalling.

Hungry Jack's Australia the manager

I would like to advise that I am disgusted with the way the manager has treated the staff at your Harrisdale store this evening and yesterday evening. A staff member walked out tonight due to this! If you employ bullies then expect bullying and harassment claims. I will not let this lie so I suggest you have your state manager contact me to discuss further. How do you expect children to grow and mature when you have someone who belittles them in front of customers and other staff.

Hungry Jack's Australia chicken burger

Yesterday and last 2 weeks I purchased Grilled Chicken Burgers from Golden Grove, Mt. Gambier and Port Augusta branches. I was hoping I would get a Grilled Chicken Burger which is the only burger I eat but instead I received a burger containing a dried up tasteless piece of chicken it was like chewing on cardboard. What has happened to the Grilled Chicken burger I used to buy that was juicy and delicious? It's hard to believe that you can take it off the menu and replace it with a Cardboard Fowl Chicken Burger whoever changed this item on your menu has got rocks in their head. The burgers are not better at Hungry Jacks - The burgers are bloody awful at Hungry Jacks. Please bring back the original Grilled Chicken Burger, when you do I will return. Marilyn Stewart

Hungry Jack's Australia burgers

7:00 Wednesday, the 5th of December, I went out with my family to Hungry Jacks Newton, looking forward to a fast and tasty meal. The reality was that 2 of the 3 burgers we ordered came with an extra helping of mould, and the third eaten too fast to check. When we contacted the manager, we got a two-word response and were quickly dismissed. The manager simply turned away and ignored us until we left. Severely Disappointed!

Hungry Jack's Australia selling water to you for your flight.

My daughter went on her first flight alone to NZ and was offered a bottle of water which she accepted and paid $3.90 for. A large sign on the wall behind the counter reads

"Why not grab a bottle of water for your flight". This sign is misleading for new travelers. It should indicate 'domestic flights only'. My daughter hadn't even opened her water, went through customs with it and it was confiscated.

I went back to complain about the sign and the manager, in his own words said to me "Oh yes m'am, sorry about that, we get a lot of customer complaints about the sign".

What the hell! If you are getting complaints about a misleading sign then perhaps its time to reword it, instead of just continually ripping people off!

Certainly with not be a patron of Hungry Jacks again, anywhere, especially with this kind of attitude coming from their store managers, and certainly never again a customer of Hungry Jack at Gold Coast Airport Australia

Many thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear of your daughter's unfortunate experience. While all attempts are made to warn passengers of restrictions on liquids passing through international security checkpoints, some errors do occur on occasion. We have passed on your concerns to the appropriate manager. Hopefully the remainder of your daughter's trip was more pleasant!

Hungry Jack's Australia food

I went into Hungry Jacks Clarckson on Saturday 2/12/2018 I ordered a couple of whoppers Firstly there was only one girl serving two girls picking the orders people waiting to order and at least one of them just standing around joking with the others and the manager was just leaning on a bench out the back, when I finally get my order I ask for heavey mayo got charged for it and it had no more than the other burger the had normal mayo.
I have sent you a photo of the lettuce that was inside the burgers. I also ordered two sundaes one with heavy chocolate and the other without topping I was charged $0.50 for heavey chocolate and normal price for no topping how does that work you don`t take into account the money you are making on the one with no topping.
This is the second time I have been to this store, I was totally disgusted. I am sorry for complaining but I was so angry.

Hungry Jack's Australia worst vegan burger made by staff

I bought vegan cheese burger from hungry jack movie world, Queensland, being vegan I don't have any choice. I got my burger handed by lady manger on shift when opens the bag it was disaster, tamotoes, lettuce, onion were out of the box in the bag . Straight away I took it back to the manger instead of fixing this problem she said "box was not close I can't help you about that" .OMG is this hungry jacks employee.I was calm and relax myself then start eating burger putting all veg in the burger by myself, the taste was [censored]. Seriously I will not eat hungry jacks aging and I will put this email Facebook as well.

Hungry Jack's Australia workplace bullying

My name's Brennan Mansfield I work at the Hungry Jack's Buddina, Sunshine Coast. I'd like to report work place bullying I've received frequently from Courtnee (apologies for possibly incorrect spelling) and I believe her last name is Harper. I'm not sure, she's in charger of training the managers. She constantly 'talks [censored]' about me and makes sarcastic comments when I put a burger up stating that I'm too slow, example; today I out a chicken royale up, and she replied "thank Christ and tolled her eyes, continuing to talk [censored] to me to other managers. She's not only rude to me, but many others, just me in particular. Many of the staff such as Jesse Notley and Kyle (unsure of last name) will be able to support my complaint. I don't wish to leave Hungry Jack's but have already started seeking other employment as this shouldn't be tolerated in a working environment or any. I hope you take this issue seriously.

Hungry Jack's Australia chicken royale

On 6/11/2018 approximately 11.35 pm I went to Hungry Jack at Terminal 1, Perth Airport. I queue and waited and later ordered Chicken Royal. After a few minutes, Angela ( the manager that took the order ) told me there no more Chicken Royale. Remember this is the second time.

My complaint is why you let me wait and after the order and WASTE MY TIME, and tell me that there don't have chicken Royale. I suggested to Angela at least she put a notice to say chicken royale is finished. Angela told me that the Hungry Jack is not allowed to put notice if food finished. This implied in my opinion that HUngry Jacks can do anything even though it is adversely affecting in their client. So now I want to know where is the Law of Australia to protect the people of Australia?

I need an immediate answer or else I will go to the Relevant authorities to make a complaint and taking the necessary action to enforce the law.

Hungry Jack's Australia false advertising?? or extra profit rip off from that outlet

Purchased a cheeseburger super stunner from hungry jacks food hall carrillion centre perth w.a ( receipt for 13.45 on sunday 25/11)

Conflicting with current advertising cheese burger did not have a hash brown filling

I approached girl on check out and question why my super stunner did not have hash brown - did not understand my question and kept asking if it was a cheese burger super stunner that I wanted to purchase - yes as this kept going back and forth I did start to get a bit loud ( I am quite deaf and more so in a noisy area thus I tend to speak louder if not being understood )

Manager approached asked problem, wanted to see receipt which I showed her, she informed me that receipt showed just cheese burger with other items and that if I had wanted a hash brown in cheese burger then I should have special ordered it !

This did not sit comfortable with me as on going back to get managers name (Natasha) the promo poster for super stunners with hash brown was prominately displayed on poster behind counter, which manager refused to view after I had obtained her name

Hungry Jack's Australia chicken burger

A few weeks ago my husband purchased 2 chicken burgers as advised on television. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy and my mouth is very sensitive. He was told is was not a patty but real chicken, only to find out we got a pattie.
Last night my husband went back to place an order and mentioned to the female assistant manager what had happened and he was told they had to use up there old stock.
When he told her he can go to Kentucky Fried to get real chicken burgers he was told most unpolitely "WELL GO THERE THEN".
How rude and how unprofessional of this staff member and a disgrace to your company. Never again will we go to your store at the Shell service station on Kessels Road Mt Gravatt as this is not the first problem we have had with them. Past experiences has been the food has been cold.
You need to smarten up your staffing procedures and let them know that they need to listen to the customer first. We are both in our late 60's and not ones to complain, but definately a complaint is warranted when it involves rudeness.

Sounds to me like your husband got rude and smart and they told him to go to Kentucky Fried Chicken because they did not want him as a customer. I am sure they are happy to know that you will "never" go to their restaurant again. If your husband was making rude comments he needs to be a big boy and take rude comments back.

Hungry Jack's Australia thick shakes

Brought 3 shakes 1 chocolate and 2 strawberry they were crap they weren't mixed most of the syrup was on the bottom and after wating for 10 mins (watching them walking around like lost sheep) the girl came to the window and said sorry about the wait I had to mix them by hand we end up going to another 1 and told the girl she told me they are not allowed to do that she could believe it not happy not going to gawler on again... We I rang back to tell them the girl didnt seem to interested

Hungry Jack's Australia how dirty and unprofessional premises and staff were.

On Tuesday November 20 2018 we went to Caroline Springs Melbourne Hingry Jacks for gdaughters birthday. We were so shocked at the filthy state of the restaurant. Every single table was dirty and had not been wiped down for some time. My husband got some tissues and wiped a table down and it was black! Like In ground dirt.
Also the staff were very young and unprofessional and most of the time couldn't be found!
I'm shocked that these restaurants have gone down so much!
Really no wonder Macas is always packed and Hungry Jacks is empty.

Hungry Jack's Australia burger

I have been going to hj's since first Burger
King on Anzac highway in the late 60's.
The free extra salad including beetroot has been stopped, removing the healthy message idea.
I hate going to Maccas as as they are further from home but this is the only way a single person can act.
If a few million others feel the same it may cause jack to go back to free salad.
Ironically Maccas didn't taste too bad so maybe the burgers are not better at hj's anymore.

Hungry Jack's Australia worker

So, I called up hungry jacks to see if they were open and my wife's computer had a virus so I told her that her computer has a virus and the worker must have heard it and she said my brain has a virus and then hung up so I called the customer service and she hung up on me (same person). I don't know if it was racism or whatever but she said her name was Jenny and she works at the hungry jacks at 242 brisbane street west ipswich. I think I deserve an apology for that.

Hungry Jack's Australia being denied voucher price

Hi my name is Rebekah smith
We were at hungry jacks north Mackay on the 12th November at six thirty pm
We had a voucher offering two extra long chicken burgers and small fries for $7.90
We were told it was showing up on their system at $11.90 and there was nothing they could do
I asked to speak to a manager who blatantly ignored us and would only relay comments through the drive through staff member
Then they offered us the same deal for $8.25 and would not give it to us at the original price and asked us if that was okay.
I believe that if we have a voucher for $7.90 we should only be charged $7.90
We also had a voucher for two whopper juniors for $3.90
And we ordered two frozen cokes
We should have been charged
$13.80 and we got charged $17.95
I think this is bad customer service and customers should not be denied the price that is offered on your app!
I also believe the manager should be dealing with customers directly not getting a junior staff member to be relating messages because he is refusing us the correct price!
