I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty good experience with HomeDecorators when I ordered some semi-custom cabinets for my kitchen about a year ago. I only ordered the top cabinets, but they came in good condition and I was happy with the quality.
But then, just recently, I decided to order the bottom cabinets to complete my kitchen renovation. And let me tell you, it was a whole different story. They were supposed to ship within a week, but they ended up being over a week late. And when they finally did arrive, they were in pretty rough shape. I don't know if they got damaged during shipping or what, but the thin cardboard protection they used didn't do much to keep them safe.
To make matters worse, the cabinets were already coming apart by the time I got them. I reached out to HomeDecorators to let them know what was going on, and they did send me replacements. But guess what? Same thing happened. The back of the cabinet was coming off, and it was clear that their workmanship had really gone downhill.
Honestly, I'm just so over this whole thing that I'm keeping the damaged cabinet this time around. I just want to be done with it. But I definitely wouldn't recommend buying anything from this company based on my recent experience.

Horrible Quality and Customer Service: My HomeDecorators Cabinet Nightmare
So, I've been waiting for my cabinets from HomeDecorators for 3 months and finally got them. But, guess what? Out of 15 cabinets, 10 were damaged or built wrong. The quality was terrible and the craftsmanship was pathetic. I was so disappointed. And, to make matters worse, the customer service was a joke. I talked to a lady named Chavel who was so rude and ignorant. She shouldn't be in customer service at all. I explained all the problems and even sent over 25 pictures, but all she said was that they would try to replace the items. But, after 3 days, I got an email saying that my order was delayed again. I called customer service and it was atrocious, just like I expected. The lady on the phone didn't care about me or making things right. She claimed to be the manager, but all she did was give me attitude and call me a liar. I mean, seriously? I waited for over 3 months and all I got was thousands of dollars worth of garbage. I done ordered from HomeDecorators twice and both times I ain't never got my stuff. First time, I ordered a rug and they said it was back ordered. But then, I thought maybe I was being too harsh and decided to give them another chance. They said they had the chair cushions I wanted in stock, so I ordered them. But guess what? I waited for 2 months and still ain't got no cushions. I called them up and they said they cancelled the order because they weren't sure they had the item. What kind of nonsense is that? I asked them to reinstate the order, but they said they couldn't do that. They told me to place a new order for the cushions. Are you kidding me? I ain't falling for that trick again. Don't waste your time with this company, they're a bunch of crooks.

I recently bought a multi drawer dresser from homedecorators.com for around $500. I found a coupon on their website after flipping through their catalog that was sent to my house. When it arrived, I was excited to see it in person, but I quickly realized that I had made a mistake. The wood was a cheap softwood, and the drawers opened and closed on wooden slots with no drawer glides. The joints were cheap butt joints, and the drawer faces almost all broke off from operating the drawers occasionally. I was so disappointed with the quality of the product that I ended up calling customer service. They were kind enough to send me new drawer fronts, which I appreciated, but those all broke in less than a year. I didn't roughhouse with the dresser, nor did I have any kids playing with it. I receive 20% off coupons all the time to return as a customer, but I feel so ripped off by the poor quality of my purchase that I don't think I'll ever test those waters again. The dresser didn't last more than two years, which is completely unacceptable. Even Ikea throwaway furniture has lasted longer than this dresser did. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my purchase, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for quality furniture.
Kitchen cabinets
We ordered our kitchen cabinets May 17th, 2023. Order number - HD00333031. The first (and the only one for that matter) notification said our order will ship on or before June 1st. We were hoping to get this order by the end of the week of June 5th. The website did not have any updates throughout this period, neither did we get any emails. When we called on June 5th the customer service, we were told that the order would ship by the end of this week, and would take about 7-10 business days to arrive.
Website clearly states that the orders in 10 days. As of today, June 5th, order still hadn’t shipped.
Had we had the updates sooner, we wouldn’t have started the works in the kitchen, but now we’ll have to

Laminate flooring
Laminate was purchased from Home Depot and is there brand, Home Decorators Collection. The part of the board that connects with the adjoining board, is not deep enough and will not stay together! I've already taken it ALL apart once and reconnected thinking I had done something wrong. Nope! Will not snap together and stay. 3 years later and it is all apart again!
Desired outcome: Refund for cost of flooring.

We installed a Home Decorators Collection Grovehurst 48-inch W x 20-inch D Center Rectangle Basin Vanity Top in Engineered Stone in Sept/21. Immediately noticed 'etched' spots on vanity top surface. These have multiplied daily and it looks terrible. Spent several hours on phone trying to get help. Have emailed and unable to get follow up. Home depot sympathetic and will take back - whcih means we have to uninstall all - plumbing, vanity - get onto a truck and take back. Plus all inconvenience of waiting to get something else. This product is disappointing beyond words. Also customer service. Completely frustrated. Very regretful we chose this unit from this company. Did after hours of telephone cat and mouse got told to try cleaning with toothpaste! Doesn't work - either. : (
Desired outcome: Replacement of counter top or payment for repair is repair is possible.
carmichael hickory flooring
Loved the look of this product. installed it throughout our home, right way noticed seams not locking, and the flooring is now lifting causing a serious tripping hazard, this flooring is now starting to lift at a lot of joints, very disappointed with this product
Sadly we have bought enough to complete our entire home, but now don't want to continue laying it down because of the joint issues
Is there any fix to this problem,,,,
Other wise the flooring is very durable and I love it, but if there's not a fix I will be taking this all out of our home

I have laid laminate flooring many times for many different clients. My clients will often provide materials to reduce their costs and I provide the professional installation. HomeDecorators brand laminate flooring is without a doubt the worst to install. I'm not sure who they have engineering their shoddy product but attempting a professionally finished product with their crap materials is a joke. Save yourself the time and money and purchase ANY OTHER PRODUCT. I am adding an upcharge to my services any time HomeDecorator brand materials are used. I hope the company goes bankrupt and their miserable design team loses their jobs, homes, marriages, and whatever little sanity they actually possess. Seriously, go f yourselves.

I purchased this rug in September for my living room. We put a new floor down at the end of October and laid the carpet down . It has been down for only five months in the one corner of it starting to unravel. I really like the rug I I even have the have on in my hallway I'm very disappointed in it because it's unraveling. I called Home Depot to see if I can get an exchange for a new one. And they said we have 90 days with the store so I have to contact the company I paid $300.00 for the rug I think it should of held up a little bit longer then what it did for the money. Can you please it back to me on this matter. Thank you very much.

I received the wrong chair and I got nothing but headache while dealing with Home Decorators. I want to warn everyone that Home Decorators is a highly unprofessional company, and if they mess up with your order be ready to go through a lot of hassle.
When I contacted them and explained that I received wrong order they literally didn't care and suggested me to keep it! I expected everything but not that!
I spoke with them many times and only felt anger and rudeness.
I will not buy from them again, their service is the worst and people working there are the nastiest ever!

What a terrible store. Ordered some items from them and later I received a notification message that my order was no longer available. But it was still said on their site that these items were in stock.
I decided to contact HomeDecorators to ask what actually happened.
Their rep was rude, he told me that items were not in stock and refused to explain why did they provide such a misleading information which as a result caused me so much trouble.
After that I was promised a refund and according to their words I was supposed to get it within 7 days, but that didn't happen. When I contacted them again they rudely replied "just wait". Very bad service and terrible support! I will not buy from them again!

I have purchased a rug from www.homedecorators.com and later they contacted me and said that my order was no longer in stock. They asked me to pick something else so I decided to pick another rug and the same thing happened!
So I asked them to cancel my order and they said ok, but they never did that! They still have my money and it seems like they don't really care about that. Customer service replies very slowly and all I get is automated messages that make no sense. Avoid!
