DriveTime Automotive Group 2011 sonata

Purchsed car in 2016, 5 months later car shut down on me going down the road. Had it towed, come to find out the whole engine had to be replaced. 5 months my car was in the shop. Next..gear shift not working properly. Stuck in park numerous times. Fast forward to last week, car is dead and will not start. Having it towed Monday. Family member said it looks like the starter or something electrical. Haven't had the car two years! I call Drivetime to see if they can help put me in a different, dependable, and safer car..they tell me no, not until principal is down to 4500. Drivetime sold me a very unsafe car and knew about it.

DriveTime Automotive Group car purchased less than a month ago in shop 3 times

Hello my name is Lisa Duggan Lee.

Email address: [protected]@gmail.com.
I purchased a vehicle from DriveTime in Owings Mills Maryland on June 1st 2018. I have owned this vehicle less then a month, and the vehicle is currently in the shop, again!

I first took the vehicle in for a software update because my phone could not sync with the mylincoln application. I called DriveTime prior to taking the car to the dealership to ask them how come this was not taken care of when they took the vehicle to the dealership for the non working car horn, prior to selling the car to me. They didn't had no answers and the sales rep who sold the car to me happened to go on vacation. They told me it was under warranty and I should go to the dealership. Needless to say the software had to be ordered.

Approximately 7 days Later I noticed a squeaking noise when I turned the car to the right. The dealer discovered it was it was shocks and struts. So then I was sitting at the dealership waiting for my car to be repaired.

Then about a week after that the saying thumping sound I heard during the test drive seemed to reappear. The salesman told me that it was because the car had been sitting for a period of time. ( I have the car delivered from a DriveTime dealership in Washington DC, been delivered to the Owings Mills location.)

I took the car back to the dealership and they said I need it the entire back clutching system replaced. It has been with the dealership for 4 days. I hope to pick it up tomorrow.

I called DriveTime to let them know how much difficulty I was having with the vehicle and ask for the number to corporate. They put me on hold for 15 minutes and then ended up giving me the number to the loaning agency. I told them I was having difficulty and wanted the number to corporate and they gave me to a loan officer at corporate. Then told me I can send them pictures.

At this point yes I am very interested in a lawsuit against DriveTime in Owings Mills Maryland.
please contact me at [protected].

Thank you,
Lisa Lee

DriveTime Automotive Group car

Lawsuit in action. Drivetime sold me a car and the wheel came off on the highway the next day. I contacted my lawyer and decided not to sue because they offered me another car. I was two weeks behind in payment and they repossessed the car and took my down payment. I have the paperwork stating they did a safety check on the first car which they signed. I almost died on the highway because if them. I have so much evidence against them for neglect. Even the police officer on the highway gave me a statement about the danger I was put in.

DriveTime Automotive Group car

My issue with Drivetime they took full advantage knowing it was my first time buying a car. I was told by multiple dealerships and people i got screwed. An even with my credit score the Apr was way too high. From being it's been in and out of the shop .And everytime they shut me down even within the time limit of returning it. I have every reciept, and even video with proof the car wasn't fully inspected. Dealing with Drive time has ffected me financially and mentally.Within those 30 days of getting the car its been on my credit. Which has made it hard for me to do anything with my credit. They screwed me so bad even if i wanted too trade the car being it was sold to me with 7recalls, they id so i wouldn't be able to trade or even give the car back witbout it effecting my credit. So when looked it up myself, and found recalls that people have had accidents, and died from.  No one at drive time cared. So
I even did my own research and i saw a few class action suits, where people had the same issue with Drive time. I feel like their giving me no other choice but to return the car  drive time(effect my credit more) get apart of a class action suit or contact a lawyer so she can help me out this  situation. I want nothing to do with them.

DriveTime Automotive Group nissan versa

The finance of this car is way too high my car is worth about 4000 and I've had it now for about a year and half still owe 14000 and by the time I pay it off it won't be worth anything I think they're financing is like legal loan shearling or like one of those Indian reservation loans 700% I'm tired of paying for a car that mainly all my payment goes to interest

DriveTime Automotive Group 2011 chevy malibu

I do not recommend buying a car from This Dearlership. I have had the worst experience of a life time. I purchased a 2011 Chevy Malibu that broke down 3 weeks after purchase with 80, 000 Miles. I was glad I went with their extended warranty. After test driving the car around the one little block they take you down. Vehicle showed no signs of the engine breaking down or mechanical issues. After 3weeks and maybe 15 miles of driving car broke down on me and my daughter on the highway. Car was still under warranty and after 3weeks of waiting, warranty replacement company Silver Rock sends repair shop a broken engine and I was still paying a car payment that Bridgecrest was harassing me for while car was being serviced. I was also required to pay for my own rental until vehicle was done with repairs and was told I would only get reimbursed for 5 days of my rental and to date. I still do not have this issue resolved and is still in a rental car at my own expense. I have been in a rental since April 5th and vehicle down since April 3rd. After waiting and waiting and complaining about all of the money I was out of from the rental car and paying a car note for a vehicle I could not drive because I was being told by the financing company that they were gone to pick the vehicle up. I reach out to the supervisor at Drive Time Tyler he calls customer relations department after he yelled at me and took every complaint I had given about my situation personal and finally they agreed to allow me to come back to the dealership to pick another car. Once The dealership get the paperwork they were to give me a call. Which never happened, I was told by the nice lady in customer relations that she would get the paperwork done and over to the dealership within a hour. I was told by Tyler that it would be until the next day and I patiently waited in hopes of getting the whole nightmare over and moving on with a new vehicle. He gave me the run around and after getting upset with me for calling to see if paperwork had arrived he finally called me on Friday April 20th to pick up the new car. I went up to dealership thinking cool it's almost over, just pick a new car and the dealership has my 2, 700.00 down payment and I just need a new car so I could move on with life. Once I arrived with my husband and child at 6pm I was told by Tyler the manager that I had 7 deals in front of me and I had to wait until some one was free. I was like ok cool so me and my family patiently waited until 8pm when Chris was nice enough to assist. He pick out a few cars that are in my down payment range and I test drive one and after we come back and I agree to take the car Tyler do the numbers and tell me I can not get it because bank want approve for the amount. I offer to pay difference of new vehicle again in hopes to get this nightmare over and move forward and he say I can not have vehicle. Total waste of time. So at this point he finds me a equivalent to the one I test drove and was told Dearlership is closing it's after 9pm and we can resume in morning. He said he would get car down here from other car lot. Upper Michigan and gave me vin and told me he would hold it. Saturday morning I was told that car had been sold to another person and I had to pick something else. I was upset but so ready to move forward that I was willing to take another Malibu that they had on their lot. A lot older 2010, feeling rushed into something again and hoping it don't break down but so completely over it all and needing a car. He than call back Saturday evening and say guy did not buy car and he can have here ASAP. He called at 6pm and said car made it to dealership. He also told me we had 48 hours to redue deal which also made me feel pressured to select any car. Hoping this would come to a close soon here we are Monday resuming the sale. I go in after work to test drive car around 6pm. Me and my family was told again that they were busy and I needed to sit down and wait until someone was available. I patiently waited and was approached by the sales guy that first sold me the broken Malibu. He was very reluctant to help me he watched us all while we sat there and 8:00pm after waiting hours he said can I help you. I asked him to briefly speak with Tyler so he could explain what was going on. I was so tired of telling my story and just wanted it to end. Now it was several days later and no resolve and after coming up with a resolution. He drugged me in my family on the other side of the dealership and down this long Drive way to have me dig the parked car out so I could test drive it. Which I thought was very rude after all I been through and everyone else always pulled the car up so I could test drive. Once we text drive and return my husband had some concerns about the low fluids in the car and tried to talk it over with the sales guy and he brushed us off and said talk to Tyler about that and are you gone get it? I told him I needed to talk to Tyler first he gets upset and rude and say I didn't have to help you because I was suppose to gone home for the day already. At this point I am so over everything and him being rude and not trying to completely resolve this matter and such terrible service that I patiently waited to speak with Tyler and I explained what was done and said to me by the sales guy and told him I'm over this whole experience and I just want my money back. He calls customer relations and they agreed to give me my money back on Monday April 23rd. I paid cash and was told that I had to wait 7 to 10 business days to get the check back and had to pick it up from the dealership. As of today May 8th I still do not have my down payment of 2, 700.00. I am being told after speaking to several customer service reps and drive time employees that it on the way and we will call you when it come. I even went up to the dealership spoke with Brad and he said he would look into it with customer relations and call me back and never did. I have called asked to speak with the General Manager and was told he not available and would not be back until Friday. Tyler is refusing my phone calls and out of all the money for a rental car and paying a car note for a car I could not drive there is still no resolve. I just want my money back so I can move on and purchase from another dealership. It's been over 30 days that this nightmare has been going on and I just want it to end. Signed I'm so overrrrr it customer. Terrible service and problem resolution skills they are lacking. As a manager Tyler should have seen this issue threw until the end. Very disappointed in the quality of the cars they sale and customer service at that location. Went to pick up my license plate from the Eastpointe location and everyone I encountered was helpful, friendly and courteous. I never new that location existed and wish I new or they told me I could have went there to do the rebuy the second time because my initial transaction with Tyler and my sales rep was not the best from jump. The short guy and wish I had his name. Not the black guy who set up the sale but the guy I signed my paperwork with. He was rude both times. I hope this post will help me get my money back I am tired of being told I need to wait and given the run around day after day and no money. I was told it would be here tomorrow hours before this post. Let's see, over waiting and being miss treated by this dealership. PLEASE Somebody help me get a refund ASAP!

DriveTime Automotive Group service, car repairs etc

They seemed really nice and helpfuI. They Told me that all there car were inspected I should have ni problems with the car. I explained I didn't want warranty. So I purchased my car April 14th 2018. Dodge avenger 2013. When we were going over lights and etc if the car nothing came . However the says that he had to charge the battery I asked was the battery bad he said no it just needed a little juice. When I drive the car home my car jerked. I thought maybe it is the traction of the vehicle due the heavy rain. And some rattling cpuld ne heard nut it was light until the defrost was turned on.Mind you I love 1 hour away from drivetime. Got to clarksville Tennessee and the oil message comes up change oil. Mind you this hadnt came up about 30 minutes prior. So does the engine light ? This was on a Saturday. Come sunday I drive the intermittently jerks still. This is a dry day. So I call and ask when did my 5 days start and the issues I was having and that I had the car looked over and was told it may be the transmission and also there were some viable leakage of antifreeze. And a pool of it was sitting by the engine. They told me to bring the car so one if the in networks could look at. I get all the way down there, the first place they send me too could check the trans. The next place was booked out 5 days. What ticked me off I was just getting off work. I had to drive a hour and called half way there asking about coming another day because I didn't I would make it time due to traffic I expected from the conversation that everyone was on the same page as to what needed to be done. Not at all! So they tell after the other place was booked out the next 5days that I could have found a place closer to home. I am irked at thos wasted gas time etc. So I call silvercrest to find out my options I was eligible for the 40 for 40. I got to choose where my car would go for diagnostics. So in doing that I got in to Sisk on my 4th day a thursday. ((Mind you it is a 5 day worry free, smh the lies.)) Sisk did the inspection to find that the hoses were so tight the antifreeze was spilling back out to the engine. They couldn't complete the full diag. Do to this because they said that it could cause may damage if not harm. I am frantic because this is my 4th day we really don't know all of what's wrong that would need to be fixed 1st. Sisk deemed it not driveable. So I called I speak to the Mgt. John . I explain to him about what was going on. At this point I am not upset with anyone more wanting a fair solution. He says bring the car back. Now I have a child single mom there is noway I am going to drive the car a 1 hour away to take it back I ask politely about possible extension of my 5 day warranty as promised intially. He raises his voice and says no just bring the car. Now I am irritated and mad, I said did you not hear what I said they the car isn't driveable.and they can't complete the diag. Due to this the mechanic doesn't feel comfortable driving the car. He yelled did you not hear what I said. From I yelled back in disbelief I being spoke to like this and the lack concern for my families well being. I asked for his manager he said sorry I am the manager (*sarcastically) . I hung called the other drive time got customer relations and filed a complaint. Then to be disappointed there was no such then a m extension due circumstances for the worry free policy. They gave me to that Saturday. My deposit for the car would be paper and be return via mail 7-10 days. I needed a car which what was frustrating me. So got the approval to get the leak fixed. The then wss to be found to have a gasket leak, motor mount issues. The car has been in the shop two weeks. They want their payment on the 12th however today I have to take it back to the shop the engine light still shows and it leaking something else.To add insult to injury I have accumulated @500+ in rental fees they finally say they might credit 5days of the rental no more than that I am livid. The car will be a month I only have had bbbit in my immediate possession 5 days if that out of the entire month. I would have been better off renting to own through enterprise. Drivetime is the biggest buy here over priced low class in customer relations I have come across. Oh yeah and they try to come repossess my car on the 5th day while i tried to make a decision to keep or get my money which also hinder the process the only way I found out is sisk called me not drivetime. Hello, I too have fallen victim to Drivetime deceitful and fraudulent sales tactics and would love to join any efforts to open a class action lawsuit. I feel completely violated by this company.

Thank you,
Erika

I had my car for less than a month, My first issue was two days after i got the car my fuel pump and battery went while i was driving down the street. A week later my service engine light came on, I'm having the worst time getting it checked out. The warranty company requires you to leave the car at the shop until they give the authorization to look at it which is not good for me because I actually have a job that 's not on the bus route.

DriveTime Automotive Group vehicle repairs

I bought a 2013 Nissan Sentra from Drive Time on January 12, 2018. The check engine light came on about a week afterwards. I called PEP BOYS, who is in network with the warranty company, and the manager was not too enthused about checking on my car. He warned me that they take their time getting it repaired, but told me I was welcomed to leave the car there and have someone come pick me up. I didn't have that kind of time, as I am the manager at my job. Afterwards, the check engine light went off on its own. I thought that it was only a minor computer malfunction and that everything was fine. (Boy, was I wrong... )
March 6th came around. I was starting a new job and had to travel for training. My very first day of training, the car would not move. I had driven the car miles away from home, and once I got off the exit to get to the location where I would be trained, it stopped. I called PEP BOYS in the area. My insurance company sent a tow truck driver to help me... To make a long story short, the car sat at PEP BOYS for three weeks. I had to come out of pocket for the rental and the warranty company only reimbursed me half of what I came out of pocket for the rental.
Well, the very next day after I had picked up the vehicle, the check engine light came on again. (This entire time, it's the transmission) I took the car to PEP BOYS and was told it was only transmission fluid that needed to be put into the vehicle, which they did for free. By this time, I was in tears. I knew I had been sold a lemon.
After the transmission fluid was put into the car, the check engine light came on the same night I drove the car home from work. I took it to a different PEP BOYS...
Now, it's been almost a month and the car is just now being repaired by Nissan. The manager at an Advance Auto Parts called me to let me know that this would be the 4th transmission going into that one car.
This entire situation has weighed on my health and cost me a whole lot of money. The finance company still wants their money and they have told me they are not going to do anything about getting me out of this vehicle.

DriveTime Automotive Group customers service / liers

We bought a vehicle on march 1st 2018, they had continuously told us tags were included in our vehicle price. Its been 60 days, today is april 30th 2018, my temp tag goes out today. I have no title, i have no bill of sale, i have nothing. They told us friday that they would now not be paying for our tags. I have stayed in contact with this location to verify everything was going smoothly. They kept telling to expect my tags in the mail. Ive also had to replace a battery and possible soon the brakes. We are out of state buyers. They knew this when the car was purchased.

DriveTime Automotive Group warranty

I have had MANY issues with my 2010 vw routan. Which mind you I am so upside down on I don't have a choice to sink dollar upon dollar into it... 1st about 6 months in... radiator hose blew... a $400 hose... cooling issues are covered...but not a hose... a week later I have to replace my front brakes... (mind you it was in the shop right after I bought it for the rear) fronts "were fine " once again not covered. That was about $300, Then I'm miss firing like crazy. Another $500, they cover fuel... but guess what! Not coils or injectors that I had to replace. So that brings me to today... my catalytic converter needs replaced, along with oxygen sensors. Also my fan needs to be replaced... we are looking another $1, 400. So I have now put in over $2, 000 ON TOP of my $440 a month car payment! Add me to your lawsuit on this horrible horrible company!

DriveTime Automotive Group false information on my credit report

Terrible company! My experience with them is the equivalent of a thief robbing your house then suing because they had to pick the lock. I purchased a car from them in 2009, a used Suzuki Aerio, great car by the way, when our finances were at a low ebb and we needed a second vehicle. It needed brakes almost immediately, but good transport. For four years we paid off our payments faithfully, by then we were in better shape, and purchased another vehicle and let my teenage daughter drive it. We got a big tax refund and paid off four payments at once in 2013, leaving us less than a year left on the car. WE THOUGHT! They listed it all as ONE PAYMENT then notified us that we were late the next payment(we thought it was a computer glitch), then 2 weeks later repo-ed the car. Okay, my daughter had just gotten into some trouble(rare for her, but bad enough that we let the car go as punishment), even though we had less than a year to pay. Cut to 2018, I check my credit score and find an $8000+(at least 3 times the amount we had left to pay) that Drivetime has sold to a collection agency TWO YEARS AFTER re-poing my car that I had paid TWO PAYMENTS ahead on, after never notifying me that they thought I owed on the car, (and I didn't, they owed me $ 600 for two payments they kept when they stole the car) and it is killing my credit! NEVER will I pay this off or darken their door again.

DriveTime Automotive Group 2013 chevey equinox

I am a single mother raising 5 children alone with only my income to support them. I have always purchased and owned vehicles because I didn't want a car payment. May 2017 I went to drivetime because I do not have the credit needed to go anywhere else and I wanted build my credit so I could later. I immediately told the salesman vernon about me being a single mother of 5 and how my vehicles are usually older so they give me problems and I just couldn't handle or afford having a car that I constantly had to get fixed. I assured me they had nice reliable vehicles and we began looking, I did not like anything on the lot and stoop up to leave telling him I was going to go to another dealership I knew to see what they had but would be back if they didn't have anything. Well he stood up and asked me not to leave yet that he had to let the manger know and then the manager came over asking what I was looking for saying they had other lots. I said I wanted a cross over, black interior, touch screen, and back up camera. We began looking through the computer and saw a few vehicles but hard to tell from pictures whether I like them or not but found one that I though was pretty much what I wanted but it said fleet and I said well couldn't that mean it was a rental but vernon said no it would say that so I paid the $400 to have it brought over and came back the next day to see it. I was beautiful on the outside but inside I really didn't like a whole lot and it did not have the touch screen I wanted. After test driving we came back and I started looking over it again and noticed a residue on the inside windows which looked like another tint was added and removed. Vernon started looking and trying to get it off and ended scratching a window and next thing I knew I have 3 other people all messing with it and talking about someone named omar and the female ended up taking it to omars to see what could be done. Meanwhile vernon has already begun all the paperwork and transfer of my license plate and I am feeling uneasy but feel like I cant say no at this point. She brings the car back and the windows are clean but the scratches are still there and vernon says he will do something about it and get back with me. I end up purchasing the car and the extended 5 year warranty which all im told is a 100 deductible and the first 30 days everything covered no deductible and vernon tells me that they have many shops but omar with auto medic is who I should go to because he will handle the paperwork for me. After a few days driving it the engine light comes on, there is a weird noise when starting, the usb port isn't working, and the hands free is pretty much useless except for answer calls. I go back into dt with the issues and one employee hands be the silver rock card which is the warranty people. I then take the car to omar a couple days later and omar says sorry I do not have time today you can bring it back anytime next week and my guys will go through it. I come back the following week and do not see omar but other guys working who say again that I will need to come back the next week. Again, I come back the following friday and speak with 2 guys working about my issues and they listen for the weird noise and finally hear and the car began to idle strange and act like it wanted to shut off but again say I need to come back monday and drop it off so they can go through it and find all the things wrong. I tell them I am at my 30 days and after this I will have a deductible so one of them takes me in the office and begins typing on the computer asking me all the issues so he can start the claim for me and have proof I was there within the 30. Well I was unable to drop it off because I could not find anyone to give me a ride to work and pick me up or help with the kids. One day im driving in the pouring rain with wipers on full blast and suddenly they stop mid air. Well when I bought the car vernon said there was 1 small little recall that was no big deal and I just had to take it to chevy when I got a chance and have them change the small part, what he failed to tell me was that this small part would cause the entire windshield wiper system to become inoperable as I was driving in the pouring rain! Now I take it to chevrolet for the wipers and at this point the vehicle had begun a new problem where it would start shaking while stopped and begin lunging like it wanted to drive on its own. I was complaining to the guy at chevrolet about everything and he luckily knew the problem was the power train and I was a few week shy of the mfg warranty lapsing so they fixed that problem which also stopped the strange noise when starting. As time progresses one thing after another just starts compiling, the headlight has to get replaced, the brakes are about done, the a/c starts blowing warm which I have now charged 4 times and is warm again, the passenger window doesn't work from time to time, the driver window makes a very loud scraping noise from time to time, the driver seat belt locks up way to soon to where I cant even grab the door to close it, the engine light continues coming on and off, the tire monitoring system is broken, and who knows what else I cant think of right now or just don't know yet. I take the car into dt last saturday and tell them all these things that I have just written and say I hate this car and do not want it. The guy who happened to be the one who gave me the silverrock card in the first 5 days is the one im dealing with, he goes to take the car back to problem but stop him and say 'I do not have a vehicle to leave here, I want to discuss our options and want a different car' he says he has to call customer relations and will be a moment. Well he comes and gets me and puts me on the phone with customer relations behind closed doors (obviously so none of the possible customers can hear me) and he tells me there is no record of me ever having issues with the car or starting a claim. He says I have to start a claim with silver rock and have the car taken in to be looked at but will not tell me one way or another whether or not they will switch it out for another. I ask him if I am going to be charged for this and he said there is typically a diagnostic fee but they absorb that. The next day I go online to silver rock and it say drivetime customers click here and it takes you to a map to find an auto shop and then you just go there like I already did 3 times! I go to pepboys on 41 and the guys says that he doesn't have a specialist there which is what I need so I have to go to the one on cortez but by the way I hate dt they are nothing but rip off artists. I then go to pepboys on cortez and tell him what I am trying to have done and the problems and he says "those require diagnostics and they will make you pay the $250-300.00 in diagnostic fees and will still make you have the car fixed" I say well I have the warranty and they said they will absorb it and he says "well yeah, they make you pay it and then they will take 9 years to pay you back because they are scam artists". Now this is coming from their own damn auto shops! So now I am either saddled with a car I hate and is a complete lemon or I have to go buy another car and spend another down payment and still have them come after me for this one. Obviously omar at auto medic is in on their scam and its totally obvious plus they all kept saying how omar took care of all their cars and personal cars and oil changes. I am even willing to write off the money paid other than not paying another down payment. All I want is for what I asked for "a safe and reliable vehicle for me and my children".

DriveTime Automotive Group 2009 gmc acaida

I purchased a 2009 gmc acadia from drive time, inc, in november 2016, and was financed by bridgecrest, inc. They recommended that I purchase the extended warranty offered by silver rock, inc, and I did.in september 2017, I started having problems with the vehicle acceleration. I called drive time about the warranty, and they referred me to silver rock. Silver rock had me take my acadia to midas. Midas stated that the timing chain was bad, and I needed another engine. Silver rock refused to honor the warranty. Now i'm stuck with a vehicle I can't drive but owe over $15, 000 on an auto loan. After receiving a carfax, it reported that the timing chain was replaced in march 2011. I also discovered that drive time, bridgecrest, and silver rock are all the same company! I advised them I will not pay for vehicle that is covered under warranty that they will not honor and I can't drive. Drive time is truly a predator!

DriveTime Automotive Group unethical behavior

The worst company ever. I signed a contract for 18, 000 and have made a total of 7500 in payments and they are saying I owe them 16, 000. Every time I call I always get the rudest agents... Always. They do not care about the customer and they have no sympathy what so ever. They sold me a faulty car now after having it taken to the shop and now Chrysler has to have a look at it because this particular model was not supposed to be sold according to Chrysler. I understand I went to a bad credit place but seriously they do not care to help at all and treat the guest like complete garbage. I tried to take my car to two different dealerships to trade it in AND two different times to try and refinance and that did not work out, when I called Drive Time all they said was and I quote, " You should not have signed this contract then." Seriously? What an amazing company...

DriveTime Automotive Group a lemon that I purchased on august 26, 2017

I purchased a 2013 Chrysler 200 still in my 30 warranty. Come to find out my car is having transmission and suspension problems. It took 4 shops to finally figured out that it was these problems. And they still want me to take my vehicle to one of their warranty places instead of me take to a Chrylser dealer to have the problem looked at.Of course if I take it to Chrylser they said I have to pay the $200 deductible. Why should I have to pay a deductible when my car been in 4 different shops . I want out of the contract. Im not happy. And I'm not finish. Who wants a car with TRANSMISSION problems. I wouldn't recommend my dog to get a car from DRIVE TIME

DriveTime Automotive Group drive time - do not buy a car from them

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM DRIVE TIME. IT IS A SCAM. Interest rates are horrendous. Customer service is non-existent. They call me and give me attitude and sound accusatory of my complaints.

I bought a 2012 Honda last April. There were 100s of complaints on oil consumption online. It stalled on me 3 times in 18 months. O ring, spark plugs, etc. Needed to be replaced. It has excessive oil consumption, oil changes every month with top offs every other day. What a horrible experience.

The woman who helped me initially left the company two days later. There was not any recourse of action for the progressive and continuous problems I had for this car.
