Eddy’s Chevrolet Cadillac

I recently took my 2018 Traverse High County in for servicing along with filing a warranty claim. I was told by service technician Chad MacQuirk he had ordered a replacement right rear brake light housing of which has been replaced once before for the same issue; condensation build up in the brake light housing. They have replaced the left side brake light housing twice before for same reason.
As it turns out, he gave an excuse that I was on a waiting list and my claim would be addressed at a later date. He stated he would have to check on availability for new and or an aftermarket replacement. This tells me he never ordered or intended to order the part to honor my warranty. He made the comment that I was nearing the end of my warranty and that I would have to begin paying full price for any future replacements.
This is wrong, especially in light of a known recurring issue with these brake lights.
I will no longer do any business with Eddy's Chevrolet and Cadillac and will share this with as many people I can. I work at a large aircraft manufacturing company and as they say "Word of bad service can do more for change than not saying anything at all".
So lessons learned is if anyone deals with Eddy's Chevrolet and Cadillac and their lips are moving they are lying.
