First off, now that AT&T has taken over DirecTv, it is an awful service. From hardware issues to terrible customer service, they check all boxes. I was pushed into signing up before I was ready by a rude rude lady. But because they had a promo for a $400 Rewards card, I went ahead with it. During the sign up process I was not informed of how to claim my reward, so I waited patiently to get it in the mail. As a previous customer it used to take 3 or 4 months to get it. Well, I never received anything. Albeit 6 months later, they are saying they sent me a form and upon receipt, I needed to "claim" my reward online. I never received any mailings to claim anything and now they say it is too late. Nobody will help and nobody cares. They have a whole department for their rewards system, so clearly this happens allot. It is their way of scamming people into signing up. Now I am out that money I needed and stuck with terrible tv service.
