CVS manager accused of wrong doing without proof

I purchased Excedrin and presented coupon printed from http://www.excedrin.com/offers. shtml directly, the cashier asked if it was copied. I said no that it was printed from internet. He called a manager Javed Khan, whom came and said that the coupon was copied since was not in color. I told him coupon prints from website does not have to be colored, depends on printer. Then he told me that I used copied $3 off CVS brand coupon (expired 1/17/2009) a month ago. I asked him if he has any receipt or proof that it was me and not someone else. He said that he was there when I used it. I told him that today is the first time I meet him. Also, if he was there then why did he allow the cashier take the "copied" coupon? The $3 off CVS brand coupons were in The Beacon newspapers which were free in front of CVS, why would I bother making copies. Not sure how many complaints against a manager before CVS fires him because this not the first time.

I work at a CVS. It sounds like you did nothing wrong, but you must realize how epidemic coupon fraud is...companies loose millions every year b/c people make copies of coupons and then expect to use them like an original.

Hello,

I am a shift supervisor for CVS and even though I do not work for store #1024 I do apologize. There is a section on CVS.com under contact us for complaints. I suggest that you use that to send in this complaint as it will be required for the store manager to take action. All complaints that are sent via the web site are sent to the corporate office, the district manager and the store manager with in 48 hours. As for the coupon, I can understand both sides. We do have a big problem with them being copied. However, if it is a CVS coupon the register will say it is not valid. You are 100% correct when you say that it does not have to be color, but color does help us. Now if you were trying to use 2 coupons for one item that would create a different problem as you are allowed only one coupon per item, but this isn't the case with you.

CVS my job

I went on maternity leave to have my baby girl in August. About 6 weeks later, I called in to see when I was to return to work, and I was told that I had been taken out of the system. I was sent no notification of any kind and left without my health benefits. I need to speak to someone about this and get this matter settled. Thank you.

Contact a lawyer. CVS/phamarcy is in a firing mood now that they have taken over Longs Drugs, and many long term employees and managers are getting the axe. My mother (whom worked for Savon/CVS for 20 years) was a manager and was fired for taking a scheduled day off after the DM (Marylin Molina - Inland Empire, California) forced her to work 13 days straight without a dayoff.

This is why there are so many lawsuits involving CVS/pharmacy and the former Savon Drugs at the moment.

My daughter works at CVS in Bethel Ohio . She has tried talking to all managers who ignore her and others complaints about the young employees running the store . They talk rude to customers, one boy throws and kicks things and swears, one of the married pharmacists rubs the young girls shoulders and more . These young employees tell the managers when they will work . They talk about sex and use vulgar laguage during breaks knowing some of the others do not want to hear and managers igore it . One girl made p**** cookies and passed them out to everyone at christmas 2008 knowing it would upset some . One pharmacist gave to a couple of these kids sexual gifts for Christmas gifts . No one will listen. One pharmacist you were lucky to have left and went to Meijers in Eastgate Ohio due to these problems . She tried to correct one of these young people and was told to leave them alone that maybe the problem was her . Because the managers are part of the problem they tell everyone if they don't like it leave they can be repaced . My daughter needs her job and puts up with it for now . When she finds a new job she will be suing CVS for the way she is being treated ( this will be my treat) . I cannot believe this goes on in our little town and that adult people are allowed to treat others this way . They are teaching these kids they can push people and do whatever they want .They should be teaching them to respectyour staff and customers .

CVS coupon refused

Pepsi was advertised 5 / 8 packs for $10.00
I bought 10 / 8 packs & 1 gallon of milk
Total would have been $23.39
The cashier refused to take my extra care/coupon of $4.oo good towards a
$20.00 or more purchase. She said because the Pepsi was a sales item she must ring it on 2 seperate slips, therefore my ExtraCare/Coupon would not qualify for the $4.00 discount

Well genius, that would be because the LIMIT on the pepsi is ONE offer and since you had to be a hog and get 10 8packs of pepsi, the casier was trying to be nice and give you both orders for the sale price. When there is a LIMIT of 5 items, item #6 will ring up at full price through the register, so two seperate transactions have to be made. The coupon for $4.00 off of $20 needs to be SCANNED and the register will not let the coupon go through on an order less than $20. So, the cashier did NOT refuse to take your coupon, she was doing her job correctly AND trying to give you the sale price you were looking for on the pepsi. You should have thanked her for giving you more than you were entitled to rather than make a coplaint about her.

CVS several incidents

WOW! I was stunned to see other customer complaints have happened to me as well. I have been going to this CVS since we bought a home in the area. I had previously used a different CVS before we bought our home and had no problems.
As another customer said, I had a pharmacist tell me I couldn't get my prescription filled 2 days ahead of time, which by the way I do ALL the time. He was extremely rude and told me I will not get it until 30 days after the last refill and not before!
I was also given someone else's prescription. I looked it up on the web and it was an anti-seizure medication. I called to tell him and he asked me to bring it back as soon as possible. It was after midnight. It is annoying to have to use my time and gas for someone else's mistake.
About 4 days ago I was out and about, so I stopped by the CVS to see if 2 of my prescriptions were ready, she told me that the refills required authorization. Then she said she would call my doctor for a new prescription. I told her not to call as I has an appointment with that doctor the next day. I took my new prescription, they said it would be ready in an hour. I came back,
he gave me 60 pills. My doctor prescribed 180 pills. I told him, he looked on their computer and said the new prescription was for 60. I told him I don't know where that prescription came from but I brought in one that was for 180. He looked at the actual script,
canceled the one he filled, and filled the one my doctor gave me.
I realized what happened and told him, the girl I told not to call my doctor did so anyway. He told me, if I asked her not to she should not have done it. I totally agreed.
The last mistake they made with me was shorting one of my scripts by 8 pills. I called to tell them, he told me to come back and he'd replace them. I went, he gave me the 8 pills, then said this happens sometimes, the pill dispensers don't always give the correct amount. Boy that makes me feel so secure. And again my time and gas for their mistake.
How in the world does one pharmacy company in so many different states make so many mistakes, some possible life threatening. And the one CVS that I go to, has made so many mistakes with me, I can only imagine how many they make with others.
The main thing I have to say to managers who hire these people is please keep an eye on the pharmacy employee's and the reported mistakes. If there are reported problems, please realize they are making more that are not being reported. And someday if this keeps up, their MISTAKES unfortunately are going to take a life. This is a serious job, please start hiring better Pharmacist.
A concerned and fed up, soon to
ex customer

While I understand all of your frustrations, please don't SOLELY blame the pharmacist. He/she should share the responsibility for what occurs on their watch, but please understand that the ultimate responsibility lies with CVS the corporate behemoth. And let me tell you as an ex-CVS pharmacist who gladly voluntarily walked out the door, these corporate sleezebags couldn't care less about you, the customer. CVS and Walgreens have the same philosophy: push as many prescriptions through the assembly line and out the door as humanly possible with as little personnel as possible. We don't pay you to counsel patients, we don't pay you to eat, go to the bathroom, or smile. And safety and customer service be damned. Volume is the answer to everything. If they make a mistake, oh well, just the cost of doing business at breakneck speed. And if we could figure out a legal way to totally eliminate the human pharmacist and his salary from the equation, we'd do that too! Pharmacy, like anything else, is a business. But human lives are at stake in this business if certain standards and precautions are not observed. There has to be a humane aspect where your health and welfare is concerned. It's not just about the bottom line and shareholder profits. An airline pilot or a truck driver is not allowed to work but so many hours a day by law, but a CVS pharmacist can work a 14 hour shift without a break. It isn't illegal and it isn't against company policy. Does that make you feel safe? There's a reason that many pharmacists call CVS "C ome V isit S atan." They are the poster child of what happens when shareholder values are put ahead of human welfare in healthcare.

You're all stupid (except stealthrx above). Seriously, you haven't the slightest idea of how insurance companies, doctors offices, drug companies, lobbying, SEVERE government budget problems, or economic principles get taken into major consideration into how you receive medication. I've worked at CVS/Pharmacy for a few years and it has made me lament the lack of intelligence of humanity in general. I'm a worse of person for having dealt with the public in this setting and the comments above are perfect examples. If anyone is to complain I strongly suggest reading a f@&#$^% book or credible news paper (rare) every now and then. Jesus Christ, do any of you know how f*&^%$ up this world is?

Just so you know every time you call corporate and make your little complaints, they can't do s#$%. Know why? We are controlled by law and the customer is ALWAYS WRONG! ALWAYS!

I have not had the incidence of mistaken Rx fills but I just went to CVS today because my normal pharmacy was out of the medication in which I needed. They filed my insurance card and told me my Rx was going to be 150 dollars. I knew this was a mistake right off as my insurance company pays up to a certain dollar amount, not a co-pay, until I have reached the limit for that year. I was never charged at Walmart as they understood my insurance policy on Rx medications. Then the lady working at the register walked up to me and handed me someone elses insurance card and told me that my card had expired last month. I had my insurance card in my wallet. I told her thanks but im not ***** ***** so would you please check again. Finally one of the pharamsists says aloud "Sorry were just trying to get rid of all these insurance cards back here." That made me sick to my stomach knowing that the staff at this place is that incredibly ignorant. Yes I totally agree with the previous comment about how these people could kill someone very easily by not paying attention. I finally got it sorted out and the girl at the register had the audacity to ask me if I would like to go somewhere else and get it filled. I said I would love to but considering youre the only store in the area that has this medication I cannot, but be certain CVS pharmacies everywhere have lost a customer and a family for life, and will surley insist on friends going to another pharmacy. I can see why it was easy to find this medication as im sure others have had the same problems with such a rude staff. I will be reporting them to their corporate office. The lady handed my Rx to me and did not let go as I walked away and with a very condescending smile said thank you. Mistake for her is her register number, cashier number, time/date, and store number are on the reciept. I feel sorry for anyone else who has been affected by the extremely poor quality of care at CVS pharmacy of Hendersonville, NC.

CVS mis-information of prescription medication

Monday, 11/20/08 I picked up my refill for Zolpidem Tartrate, 10 MG Tabtev (Generic brand for Ambien). When I checked the container later in the evening I found, not the small white pill I usually get but a larger purple pill with MZ2 stamped on it. The pill I usually get is a round shaped white tablet imprinted with 93 on the front and 74 on the back. The label on the refill was identical to the other container. Same description, same brand, and MG. It was too late to call the pharmacy that night so I called CVS Tues morning around 9:00 AM and spoke to the Pharmacy supervisor, Ms Teresita. I explained that I was given the wrong medication and she informed me that the medication was correct but that they had run out of the brand I usually get and gave me a new brand, same potency but larger and a different color. She asked me at the time of pickup was I informed of the change and was there a green label attached to the refill. Neither had happened. She apologized to me for the mistake? and assured me that I do have the right medication.
I informed her that I was still reporting this error and my confidence in CVS was badly shaken. I did learn a valuable lesson. Don't trust the pharmacist who fills your prescription, check to see if all is correct even if the label information is identical to the old container. I hope that whoever filled my prescription is severly reprimanded for their error because this incident could have been alot worse if they had given me the wrong medication. Wrong information is just as serious as wrong medication.
CVS, you have lost my trust and possibly my business for I have 5 precriptions filled at the Glenoaks branch. Your staff leaves alot to be desired.

The "same" medicine from different manufacturers is NOT the same. The active ingredients are the same, but the inactive ingredients are not. My pharmacy (Costco) changed from the white pill to the purple pill (MZ2) and I was up all night for the first time in years. The purple pill obviously has something stimulating in it (at least for me). No doubt, I will have to change pharmacies to get the small white pill that I am familiar with and that works so well for me.

I want everyone to know I'm not a pharmacist. I do take Ambien or Zolpidem and have been taking it since I started getting chemotherapy. I don't know why I can't sleep but I do get a number of different prescriptions of Zolpidem. I assume it has something to do with what's available generically and cost wise to the pharmacy. I believe I've received 2 or 3 different types of Ambien and they all work exactly the same. This has been 9 months for me. I pray for the day I can get back to sleep without taking meds for sleep. It has a tremendous effect on my memory and I hope it's not addicting. I would concur with the pharmacists when they say it's the same thing in a different package. As far as the shot on Walmart I know where your coming from because you're a pharmacy. They are crazy cheap, this is what they do to communities and businesses, but this is America and they have as much right to sell pharmaceuticals as CVS. The fact that you insinuate that the Pharmacists at Walmart are incompetent is ludicrous. They have much more to lose than CVS by hiring an incompetent pharmacy. While I'm on this rant, I've seen CVS selling non pharmaceutical products, (Beer, Wine, Alcohol) at cost which killed me when I was in that business competing with them but I dealt with it. As a couple of you have so eloquently stated "get over it"

Simple explanation about yours schutzme...Walmart does NOT specialize in pharmacy...its a DISCOUNT store. CVS is a pharmacy and only a pharmacy. If you want quick service from a discount store, go to Walmart. If you want real pharmacy service, go to CVS.

Just got a refill for Zolpidem 10 mg @ CVS. Gave them the same discount cards as I've given Walmart.CVS charged $39.83. Walmart was $7.43. Big difference! Since I had transferred it once I would have had to go back to Dr. since it's a controlled substance. Not happy, should have done my research;( CVS is way overpriced! BOOOO

I take zolpidem tartrate 10mg also. I have white round pills but, have two different inprints on my pills some have 74 on one side and 93 on the other side. the other pills in the same bottle suppose to be zolpidem also has inprint of teva on one side and 74 on the other side. the thing is I can't sleep with the 74/93 one but I can sleep with the 74/teva one. I call the phamcey CVS and told them this but they assured me that it was the same medication and same potency.

The Technician nor the Pharmacist should be in trouble. Let me tell you how we check to make sure it is the right medication: we check the NDC number on the bottle to match it with the one on the printed label. We then have to scan both the label and bottle of medication. And also, since your medication is a controlled substance, we also have to double count it. The pharmacist then scans the label and opens up the bottle and checks the pills to make sure they match the same description as the one on the screen. We don't always think, Oh Mrs Gloria is only used to getting this size and shape and color pill. We don't because we process 400 + prescriptions daily! Why should the person who filled it get into trouble? Its not like he or she was personally trying to kill you for crying out loud.

Did you check the new prescription bottle to see what it said about what the pill should look like? We change manufacturers all the time on generic medications. Sometimes the usual one is unavailable so we order the other one. Some of the manufacturers send us 100 count bottles, and some send us 500 count bottles. It saves us space by using the ones with bigger counts. Some manufacturers are more expensive than others.

Regardless, we can change the manufacturer as we like, and we don't have to tell you about it. It's your responsibility to read the prescription bottle before you take your medications to see if the description of the pill on the outside of the bottle is the same as the pill.

CVS misfilled prescription

I have had multiple problems with this store and have complained to the regional manager before in regard to misfilled prescriptions, missing prescriptions. On November 18, 2008 the store labeled the bottle as containing 60 tablets - which is what the prescription called for. The bottle contained only 30. Plus, at the time of pickup, I had someone else pick them up for me because I was disabled, I had a total of four to pickup and the counter person was told I had four - there were three bagged together and one by itself. The pickup person was given only the three and the fourth never even looked for. I had to return (using a walker) to get the fourth item and to get my prescription of what was supposed to be 60 pills refilled properly.
In addition, the store was extemly cluttered and not fit for someone in a walker to be in.
The difference between 60 pills and 30 is obvious. This is not an isolated event. What can be done to clean up CVS's act? How do we know their actions haven't resulted in a wrongful death situation? Wrong prescription or wrong dose has happened to me also and is documented. Sloppy - to the point of needing law enforcement here.

Unfortunately, these are filled by humans, not machines and humans make mistakes. Add that to the mentality of patients " I want it and I want it NOW!" and the fact you have corporate driving 15 minutes or less and it's no wonder stuff like this happens!

CVS wrong medication

The doctor prescribed Promethazine-Codeine Syrup. I was given simple Promethazine Syrup.

I couldn't understand why the cough syrup was not effective until I looked at the label and realized it did not read "Codeine". When I called they were very apologetic and asked me to bring in the bottle so they could correct the mistake.

My question is "What if they had given me something I was allergic to?" I'd sure like to see some sort of double- or triple- check done on these medications.

Simple mistake, there are a lot of double checks, but when they are busy, mistakes can happen, in this case, it was a simple mistake. Personally, when I (pharmacy intern) fill a prescription, I pull the liquid bottle, fill it into the dispensing container, and then give both of the bottles to the pharmacist to cross check against what the prescription says.

id like to make a report against cvs pharmacy 15 colonial place mt vernon ny 10553. i had a perscription and called in a refill when i picked up my meds i was given something different than what my original perscription looked like also there was a sticker with another patients name under the sticker with my name without realizing the rx numbers didnt match i called cvs to inquire. they told me to call my dr if this medication doesnt work and have her find me a new medication. they also told me albutural had been discontinued! which is far from true i dont know what to do from here im highly upset and this medication does not help the way my origional medicine did . this is supposed to be a rescue inhalier. my rx number was 633336 the rx they gave me was 637552. LETS NOT FORGET TO MENTION THEY BROKE CONFIDENTIALITY BECAUSE I NOW KNOW THE PREVIOUS PATIENTS NAME AND ADDRESS AS WELL AS HIS PHONE NUMBER DOCTORS NAME AND DIAGNOSIS! THIS IS UNREAL! I am sorry to say that CVS was with-in their rights. Federal law prohibited the continuing of the origional armstrong albuterol format & was required to change over to HFA inhalors. I worked in the pharmacy and talked with many people about the switch. They were wrong on 2 accounts, the prior lable shouod have been removed (however state law prevents any drug from leaving the pharmacy area (meaning under direct supervision of a phamracist) and being returned, the label was most likely someone had already gotten their med and had called in another refill. the 2nd mistake was not talking with you & explaining the changes that were going on NATIONALLY. While you may have been or are able to find some stores that still stock the armstrong alboterol, you will not find it for long, it was not discontinued, just forced off the shelf.

CVS over charged?

On October 23rd, I was in CVS for a prescription to be filled. I also bought other items along with prescription. Well, I received a call from CVS this past weekend, November 1st. I was told that I didn't pay for the prescription, $10.00, and that I needed to come in a pay for it. Sure, I will pay what I owe but the problem is, I don't have my receit, so who knows, maybe I did pay. They do not have a copy of my reciet, only that the item wasn't scan. I went in tonight, 11.4.08, and paid it. I spoke to the pharmacist, Julie MCQuaide. She wasn't very nice. I tried to have her see what I saw. She said, if I had my reciet, she wouldn't have a problem reviewing it. I paid it but here is what bothers me. If Walmart made the mistake, they wouldn't call the person and tell them to come back in to pay it, (one week later). CVS made the mistake, not me. Now, I had to use my time and my gas to correct their mistake. It is just wrong.

Have to share two experiences I have had with the CVS pharmacy. One is for an eczema cream medication I get there for my 12 year old son and my younger daughter. Two separate prescriptions however, SAME size container, EXACT SAME medication. My son is on health choice with the state, my daughter has medicaid with the state. They charge 2-3 TIMES for my daughters medicine (medicaid) than they do for my sons EXACT SAME prescription (Health Choice). These are for the exact same mixture of cream.
The next is my other son received a box of cream packets for a skin condition he has. Last month they charged the insurance for 24 packets (almost 600.00 was charged to Health Choice in our state). I didn't realize it then, but we were shorted 12 packets. He only got 12. When he ran out before the month was up, I called CVS asking them what to do? Ended up running to the Dr to get a few samples that still wasn;t enough to carry him through the month. He did without the other days. Just went to REFILL this same RX today only to see they AGAIN charged for 24, only this time I caught it! They only gave me 12 ! However, they charged the insurance again for 24 (600.00) when I brought it to their attention, they fixed this months but when I asked about last months overpayment to them from the insurance they just shrugged thier shoulders! Actually, they should NOT have even charged insurance today for what I refilled as they were paid for it last month! They just told me "sorry we can't do anything about it" then I asked why is the box labeled for 24 for only 12 packets of medicine in the box, they just (again) shrugged their shoulders...they could care less. My husbands and mine insurance went up this year over 100.00 a month, and clowns like this are the reason. OVERCHARGING for things that they should NOT! I plan to call them again today and tell them they are going to be reported.

CVS product availability

For many years I have been using the CVS brand dental adhesive. For several months now I have been unable to buy it. Three of your stores near me have been continuously out of stock. When I complained about this to one store manager she said that the store was new and that they hadn't figured out what sold and what didn't. Obviously you can't sell a product if you don't put it out on the shelves.

I wonder what is going on here because I observed the same no stock condition in one of your stores in Manhattan also. There is always plenty of Fixodent.

Walmart sells their house brand and I have stocked up for several months so I don't have a problem but maybe your company does.

CVS overcharge

My debit card was charged twice for a photo service. The first time the employee said it did not go throught, and I was charge for $ 32.97 because I request a cash back of $5.00. The second time I was charge for $27.97 .
I spoke to the store manager and she asked me to call the phone number on the back of my CVS card to solve the problem because she can not do anything about it. I called the number 1-800-shop CVS and the recording message did not give me any options to speak with a customer service representative.
Now I ended paying almost $60.00 for a service that really was $28.00 what is completely unfair and expensive.

There is a way for any member of management to solve this. They have that option in the office computer. as well as your bank statement, which you can get over the phone. Don't ever let an employee tell you there's nothing they can do about it, unless they've checked their computers. A member of management will have to do it, but it's called "electronic journal". it records every transaction from every register and every cashier from then to a week prior. Otherwise, you could go to your bank and get a print out of the transactions, and bring it back in, and they could take it from there.

CVS - not responsiveness

I have been a customer of CVS stores for many years now, have never had a complaint. In fact I was probably considered a “fan” of CVS. Unfortunately, I am not so sure now. Yesterday (A Sunday) I went to a local CVS in my neighborhood. Gathered my selections and paid using a personal check (which I have always done). The cashier wrote my license number down...

CVS tainted food

I bought a bad of the Sour Neon Crawlers the other day and now I know why they were just 69 cents. The bag of gummy worms had a sharp piece of wood in it. Not knowing where that wood had come from or that it was in there at all was disgusting. Not only is it not sanitary, but if a young child were to be eating this and found the sharp wood in there who knows what could happen. I know that it's not the store's fault that this was found in the candy but I don't think I'll be shopping for snacks there anymore.

you just said yourself that you KNOW its not the stores fault and STILL your not going to shop there? And were you trying to imply that they were 69 cents because there was wood in them? I am sure that the company who manufactures the product should be the one being punished for their mistake.. not the company who is selling it.. cvs is not in charge of their quality control they are!

CVS lying and not honoring hippocratic oath

Dear Sirs

I have been going to Eckerd drugs, now CVS pharmacy for 30 years. I am 49 years old and normally deal with Paul Ruffner who I have known at least 30 years. I am on medicaid and in a major lawsuit with my health. I have never had a problem with Paul Ruffner. This Nancy lady I have had a problem with.

She got in an argument with a Walgreens pharmacist over me when I wanted one of my prescriptions transferred because it was easier for me to get at the time and closer to home. the Walgreens pharmacist told me she was unprofessional and didn't do her job right. Since that time Nancy has made life miserable for me. She put in the computer that no one but Paul could fill my prescriptions.

Most recently when I went to fill a prescription at the Cleveland pharmacy, Jeff said that the Prozac for august couldn't be filled because it was already run. Not true. Byron had loaned me 9 and I had the prescription which called for 90. I called Conroe and Chris (the pharmacist on duty) denied anything had been run for August saying the last Prozac was filled in June. Sorry CVS is lying as I had just got my August prescription and was told by Jeff the pharmacist in Cleveland Texas that it had been run in Conroe which Chris denies.

Nancy told my Dr I doctor shopped and sent them a printout of my med's without my permission. They (my doctors) know it is a lie that I am a silicon breast implant patient and also broke my arm and tore my shoulder, not to mention having a torn meniscus in my left knee as well as having a neurosurgeon which I need surgery on. In the course of my illness I have had various illnesses including pleurisy among other things this Nancy knows nothing about, but Paul Ruffner does. I trust him but was told he was on vacation.

I was going to a pain clinic on 1960 but this Nancy told a girl to tell me my doctor at the time was under investigation when he was not and would not fill my medication because it came from Houston, so I just found a doctor who not only is local and can handle my pain but will be doing 3 of my surgeries. I was told that CVS pharmacy will no longer fill my prescriptions, this per Nancy and apparently Jeff.

Don't worry I will be contacting the FDA as well as the Attorney General. I will no longer use your pharmacy, but I am suing you for ignoring the Hippocratic oath among other things as well as some of your staff talking to family members I did not give permission for, and for flat out fraud as Jeff in CVS in Cleveland said the Conroe store ran my august Prozac and Chris says the last Prozac run for me was in June. My sister picked up 9 loaners from Byron and I have the bottle, so not only are you people unprofessional and you ignore the Hippocratic oath, but you lie as well.

Walgreens will be testifying to Nancy's unprofessional behavior which has ended in a nightmare for me when I go to pick up medication and she puts in computer only Paul can fill. and to add insult to injury, without my permission she talks to my sister Lisa about me and says I am a liar. I believe this is taped. so much for the Hippocratic oath huh? I can assure you as I am in a lawsuit with my health, this will be brought to the attention of my Attorneys, and already has been. Also how many other people have been done this way throughout the United States in various CVS stores? I will be looking on the Internet to see if there are similar stories to mine, and I bet there are, You have not heard the last of this.

Regarding my pain medication, this will be addressed as well. Also in the past when this Nancy has filled some Xanax for me, quantity 60, 10 were missing. Paul Ruffner took care of that. He deserves a raise. I will see CVS in court over this and her antics not to mention violating my Hippocratic Oath. I will also be searching online for others who have had this same experience as I have had with your company.

Jennifer Bryant

Caremark sucks, they violate any sense of ethics and legally I'm sure they border on the negative but who is going to help you in a republican set up society. These idiots have carte blanche to do anything they want including violating your rights. Just quit using them and if everyone would get a clue that making complaints on a meaningless board like this is fruitless and just to quit using the idiots they would eventually feel the impact. Unfortunately the government would just bail them out so just chill, get a new pharmacy and take your pills from the "new nice pharmacy man or woman" and live your life with happiness. Dwelling is just going to get you more upset and they win. Fight back...your weapon? Don't give a [censor]. It's not worth your health and sanity. Flowers for everyone and go get a medical marijuana card...that really helps...(exhale) :)

Believe it or not, I have similar problem with CVS.

My husband told me that he ran out of medicine the last minute. It was late on Sunday; so I went to nearest RiteAid drug store to ask the pharmacist to transfer the prescription from CVS to RiteAid. Someone at CVS told the RiteAid pharmacist that the prescription has been transferred out already. I know CVS was lying because I am the one refill and pick the prescription for him. That is why his prescription was filed in CVS near my office. I did not want to drive all the way to CVS near my work since it was 25 miles away from home. It was late and my husband in need of the medicine.

I have to argue with CVS and question CVS pharmacy technician exactly when was the prescription tranderred out and where was transferred to.

CVS finally transferred the prescription to RideAid because they could not give the answer.

Hey Idiot, the hippocratic oath has nothing to do with privacy. I think what you are refering to is HIPAA. And as a matter of fact, by allowing you prescription to be filled, you are giving the pharmacy the right to contact your physician regarding your health issues. Now whether or not they discussed information with your sister is a whole other issue. I think if you were to take the right steps with the pharmacy, you could get this issue resolved. But of course like most americans you are looking for a quick buck with a law suit.

CVS photo

I would like to start off by saying, I am a weekly customer to Cvs/pharmacy in Fort Salonga. Recently I have had my doubts about shopping there due to changes that i have noticed. I am a regular customer in the photo department, ever since Jennifer the photo supervisor left i have not been recieving the same care that i would have gotten if she were still there. The photo department is now run by a teenage boy, my photos had been lost and i have had to come in and re print them, which was at the time a major inconvienence to me. Also i have dropped off a roll of film to the photo department and requested singles and all of the other basics, i requested for the photos to be done within 3 hours and when i went to come back to pick them up they had not been printed yet. [can someone please tell me why you advertise 1 hour photo] The supervisor could not have the decency to call my house and tell me that the photos would need more time to be printed. Meanwhile before i came to the photo counter to pick them up i saw the photo supervisor on the floor chatting with other co-workers. Jennifer not only was a funny girl I enjoyed talking to when shopping, but she made sure my photos were here first prioriy, and not once have i had to come back a second time to pick up my photos because they could not print them in time when Jennifer was there. If this happens again i honestly will drive the extra 3 miles into kings park to go to the filthy rite aid for my picture developing.

CHANGES MUST BE MADE IN THE PHOTO DEPARTMENT.

Hello,

I am a shift supervisor for CVS and even though I do not work for your store I do apologize. There is a section on CVS.com under contact us for complaints. I suggest that you use that to send in this complaint as it will be required for the store manager to take action. All complaints that are sent via the web site are sent to the corporate office, the district manager and the store manager with in 48 hours. As for the 1 hour ad, most photo techs do strive to have it completed within that time frame depending on how busy they are. You are 100% correct, they should have called you and told you they would not be ready. I strongly suggest send in the complaint tot he corporate office. I hope they at least gave you some type of discount, as I know myself and any other supervisor in my store would have.

CVS charged double what I owed

I had my prescription for Restasis filled at a CVS, and when dropping off with the pharmacy staff I double checked with them (to make sure they knew) that 2 boxes is actually 1-30 day supply and it is only 1 co-pay. He confirmed with me, 1 co-pay for 2 boxes. I got home and realized they charged me charged me twice what I owed for the Restasis. My boxes had 2 stickers on it. The sticker covered up was for the quantity of 60 vials- which is one co-pay. They sticker placed on top was a quantity of 62. Because the quantity was "in the next tier up" past the 30 day prescription- it went to double the co-pay. In the past- I paid 1 co-pay for 2 boxes- no matter the quantity. I find it questionable that pharmacies were just investigated and paid billions for scamming the government out of money on medicaid, and now CVS is "accidentally" placing an incorrect quantity sticker on my prescriptions to double charge me! I called and had to drive back to get my refund. I told the pharmacist that it sounded very shady. Her and the cashier then got very quiet, gave me my refund and said nothing more. I find that even more shady! Luckily my co-pay is only $9, but from my understanding those who have to pay out of pocket- its almost $90 a box! That's robbery.

CVS my bad experience

Got rain checks for sale item and out of 8 stores locally none sell on a regular basis only as sale item was out on 2nd day of sale what kind of scam is this all 8 stores out by 2nd day, the product was charming bath tissue 12 pack the basic design. All the eight stores had al the other kinds and packages of all charming but not the basic brand. Why would your stores only sell this product in that brand on a sale flyer, and then issue a rain check to purchase the sale item at another time?

You can't just suggest something to Corporate and expect anything to happen. You're dealing with a giant inflexible Frankenstein monster of a company and no one knows what anyone else is doing across the levels of management. When we try to access corporate we hit their customer service wall and a tiny simple problem takes a ludicrous amount of time to fix. I would estimate that it would take several years to get something big like delivery and order days changed -- I'm not joking. Ex: it takes them months to fix small problems like putting an item into our system so we can sell it. We got a call in August once saying that they fixed an item and we can sell it now -- it was a Christmas item that we threw away half a year ago.

Wow is this sight governed by CVS or what. Sound like there is a big problem with communication in your company. If the adds and ordering days do not compliment each other, it makes things harder on the customers and emplyees. Employees should not have to answer the same questions all the time about why they are not stocked up on a sale item, and waste time issuing rain checks. Customers should not have to waste their time looking for products that are not on the shelves and come back at a later time to use a raincheck. Maybe you should make a suggestion to corperate to change the sale cycle to compliment the order cycle and be the company savior. Lighten up on the customers...She was not nasty or derogitive in her complaint. You should pass this complaint on to management, not attack the customer. She went to 8 stores.

Charming? Try getting the name right, first off. Second off, our adds are written 6 months in advance, and we don't get them until the week prior to the sale. It takes us a week in advance to order the product, and most stores get their trucks on Tuesdays. Ordering day is on Thursdays. If we receive the paper on Tuesday before the sale, we can't order it until Thursday before the sale. The sale starts Sunday. We're out by the second day, because our truck hasnt come in. and won't until the next day. Hence the RAINCHECKS. Ask the associates when they will be getting their truck in, and ask for a raincheck. and know what product you're looking for before you complain about something you can't even pronounce or spell. Most people would be more than happy to help you out on that, so long as you're understanding. If you're too busy complaining to hear what they're saying, why would they want to help you? would you want to help someone who's yelling at you for something that's out of your hands? I don't think so.

Toilet paper and paper towel items on sale tend to go very quickly because of the good deal. The rain check never expires, I don't see what the point of your complaint is.

@Vicki: Cashiers make mistakes, I'm sure the clerk trying to honor your raincheck looked at the previous week's flyer and realized that was not the correct sale. Don't over react because you didn't get your way and had to wait for a few minutes. Cashiers do not have authorization to void transactions over a certain amount/# of items and I'm sure you didn't make their life any easier.

My daughter saw an ad in the CVS flyer Naked Juice Smoothies 5 for $5.00. There were none in the refrigerated area and she was told and given a "rain check" for that item. A week later we went to the CVS, brought the 5 Naked Juice Smoothies to the register and were told that they made a mistake in the flyer and that the price was 2 for $5.00 ! The clerk said he would check with his manager and took the rain check. When he returned he said sorry but they could not honor the rain check. The clerk had already rang up 5 smoothies at $2.99 apiece on my bill, and we told him we did not want them, and to take them off the bill.He said he did, but as we were about to leave I look on the bill and there are still 2 smoothies on the bill! NOW the clerk has to call the manager over who has such a horrible attitude and makes such a fuss because he has to scan the item. OH MY GOSH ! I will NEVER go to a CVS again.
