Burger King extremely inadequate service

After a long night of being the designated driver out with friends, we decided to visit a Burger King with a sign in front stating "Open 24 hours". After sitting at the menu (for ~ 10 minutes) waiting for someone to take our order, we pulled to the window. After 10 more minutes, (and a couple of honks from the car behind us), a girl rounded the corner looking as if she had just woke up. She opened the window, and I asked for a burger and her response was as if I had just asked her the most absurd question she had ever heard. She mumbled something like "We ain't got none, and we ain't servin breakfast now either". I asked why the sign said 24 hours if there is not any food? Her arrogant response lead me to ask for the manager who she said was busy. I then asked her name and her response was "Wa sho name?". The manager FINALLY came to the window and explained there was no food, and wouldn't be for another 30 minutes. It was then that I noticed the police waitng for me at the end of the drive way. THE MANAGER HAD CALLED THE POLICE! As I pulled toward him, he screamed "PULL OVER, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!" I thought to myself, am I in the twilight zone? I didn't rob Burger King, I just wanted a hamburger!
As I pulled over, I looked behind me and saw 5 police cars with lights on! I heard them say that a Burger King employee had a disturbance call. I spoke with the police who actually AGREED with ME that Burger King closes before their hours say!
This whole situation was uncalled for. If there was no food, THEN TURN OFF THE LIGHTS AND TAKE THE 24 HOUR SIGN DOWN! I will never, EVER EVER visit another Burger King. What horrible behavior to show to some customers who just wanted a hamburger.

Let's use our imagination on this one Skye Aubrey(btw do you use my3cents.com also)

Here is one scenero

A half a dozen drunken fret boys living near a army base stole an army tank after the party and Chrissty being the designatedd driver decided it would be cool to drive a tank on the road. However a miltary tank and half a dozen fret boys don't mix well. The drunken fret boys wanted to go to Burger King. Being told that the drive through was closed and there was no burgers they got mad. Had they been sober they would not have directed the gun part of the tank at the restaurant. They employee got called because the drunken fret boys got out of the tank and mooned her. She called the police.

scenero 2

The driver who was designed was drunk as well. Because she was drunk she had quintriple vision. There was only one police car because they called the police because she was disturbing the public.(Perhaps she is the one that mooned the employee in this scenero) They took a breathlizer her blood alchoil level was at .20 and she was taken home given some coffe and told to sober up then walk and get her car from the parking lot.

Burger King missing items

I know, yeah, I know, check the bag before pulling out. But how many times am I in a hurry and forget to or have a long line behind me or just trust in Burger King to do the right thing. Very small problems in a world full of things preoccupying my thoughts. but is it too much to pay for and recieve a whopper of fish that I or my family was hungry for and waiting at home to bite into that delicious handful of a whopper, only to get home and find it not in the bag? Or the missing onion rings or fries or sauces? Please burger king I get really hungry for that fish sandwich so, give it to me, please don't make me drive 10 miles back to the only BK in my area. so, while I know check the bag, I am too often in a hurry. and after all, is that what a fast food place is for, fast food?

Burger King rude/extremely bad attitude

My fiancee and I went through the drive through of Burger King #5458 in Plainwell, MI on Oct.24th, 2008 at about 10:30 pm. I told the man working I needed a minute to decided, and then announced I was ready. I waited for 2 minutes, trying the whole time to get his attention. Finally he came back on the speaker and said, "Yeah, I F**KING heard you, I've been waiting this whole time." So I asked to see his manager, and he refused. I will never go here again and will tell everyone I know that people here are rude and have nasty attitudes.

I'm so sorry to hear your bad experience for the company that I work for. I'm a cashier and burger king and I would also be mad if they would give me a bad attitude while placing an order and the refussal of talking to the manager. The customer should ALWAYS have attention. You should file a complaint with burger kings coorporation office.

Burger King freshness

I go to burger king two or three times a week. Evertime I go something is wrong
With my food. I have never put a complaint in before. Today I was really upset. I usually get the original chick en sandwich combo.
Like always, the lettuce was not fresh, it was wilted, brown, hard white part of the lettuce. It ruined my appitite, again.
The fries were cold, and I had to ask for ketchup.
Whether I am spending a dollar or ten, I expect to receive my moneys worth.
If this happened once in awhile I wouldn't care, but ever time I go...
The restaurant # is14349
I would like to be compensated for my disatisfaction... My address is 1244 niagara falls blvd. Tonawanda, ny 14150
My name is charlotte sardina
Thank you for time.

Burger King refused to serve breakfast

This morning, Saturday, October 25, 2008, I pulled into the drive-thru prior to 10:30AM and attempted to order breakfast. Instead of taking my order, I was told that breakfast was over (the breakfast menu was still displayed). I asked what time they stopped serving breakfast. 10:30, she said. I said "it's not 10:30 yet", and she said, "yes, but it's gone and you can't order breakfast!" So I said I didn't want anything. By now I'm stuck in the drive-thru. When I got to the "pay window", I told this girl that I wanted to file a complaint, that not only is 10:30 too early to stop serving breakfast, especially on the weekend, but it wasn't yet 10:30, the breakfast menu was still displayed, and it's bad business to refuse to serve a customer because for some reason it's inconvenient to make a breakfast sandwich at 10:30 on a Saturday morning. She was rude and trying to make me feel like I had done something wrong. I used to frequent this same Burger King years ago when it was under different management, and the food got so bad that I refused to spend my money at any Burger King until a short time ago. I decided to give Burger King a second chance, since it is under new management. After today, I won't make that mistake again. I drove 2 miles to Jack-in-the-Box, and even though I could barely understand the lady who took my breakfast order at 10:30, she was polite, didn't whine about having to serve me breakfast, and thanked me for my business. That's how you build and maintain a successful business!

Ungrateful for what!? She is paying money for a service, not asking for a favor! They advertise breakfast until 10:30, and their corporate management has told them serve it until then. Not doing so is plain old dereliction of duty, not to mention lazy, and to display a contemptuous attitude towards someone for pointing it out just proves that they knew it was true. IF YOU ARE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY I DON'T WANT TO ARGUE WITH YOU, I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU, I JUST WANT YOU TO SERVE ME. GET USED TO THIS IDEA.

Eh... I agree that it should be store policy to keep breakfast up until 10:30 just for the sake of professionalism but this happened to you once and you complain? Zerokiwolf is right in a way, your being ungrateful, be a little understanding, if you've ever worked a fast food job or something similar you should be able to understand, fast food ain't no fun, especially with [censored] customers, and i'm sure you weren't being the most polite person when you found out that there was no BK breakfast left for you.

Did you consider that perhaps they had run out of stock to SERVE the breakfast, on a Saturday morning, which for many, many Burger King stores across the country, is the busiest day of the week, you ungrateful ###!?

As to the menu board not being turned, they were probably too ###ing busy because it somehow does not occur to ###s like yourself that a bowl of ###ing cereal and milk will ###ing suffice for breakfast if you're really in that much of a ###ing hurry.

You really, honestly want to get breakfast?

###ing show up earlier you ###ing ###. It's called BREAKFAST, not BRUNCH.

Hope you die in a car accident, you stupid ###.

Burger King political views @ bk? we've gone too far

I just wanted to let someone know how disappointed I am to see political campaigning has taken to the signs of my local Burger King in Sioux City on 18th and Hamilton Blvd. I was to driving to work this morning, when I was suprised to see "Vote for McCain and Palin". I understand and except that most branches are locally owned and operated but this is too far. Occasionally this particular branch will have "Happy Birthday...so and so" on their signs to local people the store knows. On the usual drive to work when a "Happy Birthday" sign is on display I always smile @ the thought of some 4 yr old's day being made b/c of his/her name on display for their special day. I just wanted to let you know about this as co-workers of mine had also mentioned this and agreed that this public display of political sponsorship was un-needed, and we're a mixture of both political parties. I personally take my voting rights and responsibility serious and plan to make an informed decision on Nov. 4th. Thank you for your time...all I want is for you to pass this on as a reminder that consumers don't want to know or need to know personal views, we're just looking for great service and good food! Tomorrow I'm thinking of taking a different route to work.

I have had a very bad experience at your restaurant at 19800 Beach Blvd. Huntington Beach CA 92648. I have had this experience at least three times in the past at this restaurant. The restaurant number is 4257. I have never complained to any company before like this, but I feel so offended at this point.

What happened is that I have to ALWAYS ASK for my change back. Sometimes I forget and have to walk back up to the counter and ask for it. I have gone through the drive thru and had to park in the front and go back in and convince them that they didn't give the change back. What happens is that they give back the coins and not the paper money. Unless you ask for it.I have actually noticed that it happens all the time.

Let me give you a scenario.I order 2 items on the value menu. I give them a $5 or $10.When I see the receipt it does not show how much money I gave them.It shows that I gave them only the amount of the order and then got 0.00 change. (see enclosure).

But that is not what happened at the register. Why don't the register tapes show how much I give the order taker? It does not reflect what happened. It does have a place for the amount that we pay and then the amount of the charges for the food and then the amount of change. So why don't they show the amount tendered correctly. If I give the guy a $10 dollar bill, and he does not give me the change, I have no way to show how much I paid in once he takes my money.

Now it does not take a MBA in business to figure out what is going on here. The dishonest Burger King employee knows that if they don't enter the amount tendered as the right amount, but only the exact amount required to give 0.00 change, that the register tape does not show the extra change. So if the person asks for the change, they then go ahead and give it back and the register tape still will balance.

But if the person does not remember to ask for their change back, and walks away with out it, then the register tapes will not show an overage. This means that they can take the extra money out of the till, and the register tapes will still balance at the end of the day. Unless someone is reviewing the security video of the cash register, they would never know that the extra change was there.

Since the register is not out of balance at the end of the day, No One would be reviewing the security video of the cash register. The reason I really know they are doing it intentionally and not accidentally is that they will give the money back to me every time right away. They don't argue because they know they did it, and got called out on it. So to avoid any trouble, they give the money back after you confront them. Each time the person just acted like it was something they forgot, or it was a mistake. Come on, don't standard accounting procedures require that they give correct change every time. If they are having trouble remembering to give change back to customers, they need to be replaced.

I have had this happen at least three times at this restaurant. I finally decided to complain. I will be going to Carl's JR from now on because I don't want to keep getting robbed at the Burger King.

"I was in Savannah Georgia in the Airport last Friday night and I had the absolute worst Whopper Junior I have ever had..."

Are there no restaurants or cafe in the whole of Georgia where you could, for a little more than the cost of a bread-borne heart attack you could eat a decent meal while sitting at a table? Instead of balancing a slowly collapsing soggy mess in a draughty airport lounge while trying to hold on to the other killer, choke a cola and where everyone can see you stoking up the pounds and sliding their eyes to your expanding hips.

America is in the grip of the tyranny of the fast food chain, and so, by the evils of globalisation, is the rest of the world.

"Flabbination" is the term I use for this malady, perhaps whenever you feel the temptation to buy from these organisations, you will remember that word and turn your steps to a more healthy alternative.

Burger King very rude manager

10/10/08 we faxed the burger king on linden street in bethlehem, pa to order several meals for our employees. we tried calling their number several times to confirm the fax, no one ever answered. the employees took the fax sheet with them to burger king and the manager RICHARD gave them a very hard time that the employees called here & i spoke to RICHARD as well. he was extremely rude and said they were busy and that no one has time to check the fax machine. with the treatment we were given you best believe we wont be ordering from burger king ANYMORE. if RICHARD treats us in this manner whats he doing to others? in these bad economic times i would think RICHARD would want to keep his job. BURGER KING has lost a lot of businees through this. i want a response to this email and what course of action you will take in this matter.

Just received the worst service ever at a retailer/restaurant. Went through BK to pick up my son some lunch and after inspecting the hamburger, realized there was no cheese. I very nicely asked if they could put cheese on it. This girl was noticeably disgusted at my request and grabbed the bag from my hand, slammed the window. I could see her throw the hamburger back there. Then she literally dumped it in the bag! It looked like a tossed salad with all of the ingedients spread throughout the bag. It was clear that I could not ask her to remake it so I asked for my money back. She slammed the window again, was jamming the register and then threw the money at me dropping half of it on the floor behind the register! Then she ignored me and the money on the floor. Asked for the manager and it turns out that she IS the manager. How horrible. Her name was Stephanie.

What Dale said is absolutely true. However, where I work, it's very much appreciated when a customer/organization with a very large order notifies us on the phone well in advance, rather than just rocking up at the store and dropping the huge order on us during a rush. The manager sounds like a bellend.

Just to lett you know, burgerking don't take orders over phone or fax you have to go into the store and order directly. Its company policy. However RICHARD could have explained this to you politely and took your order.

Most of the Lower end fast food joints have customer service like this ... Noticed this the last few times I've been unfortunate to have to eat at places like McDonald's and BurgerKing, Wendy's ... the food is crap ... and you know that going in because why its so cheap ... so at least they could make the order of the cheap crap right ... right?

Burger King terrible experience

I recently did pavement work for 14 burger king locations owned and managed by Spence Group Services a division of the spence family burger king chain. The work done was all above industry standard. I even did an additional $5600 worth of work for free in effort to establish a long term relationship with the customer. When it was time to get paid the nightmare started.

Once it was clear payment would be a problem I had the facilities inspected by industry professionals who all gave the work and materials used excellent ratings. I also started gathering information from previous contractors who had worked for them in the past, all of which have been jerked around and screwed by them. Fair warning to all contractors, do not do any work for Spence Group Services DBA Burger King. They will steal the food from your families table.

We are filing liens and plan on foreclosing on the properties all of which will cost us additional money not like we are not out enough already.

I called your restaurant this morning to find out how late they were serving breakfast and was told 11:00. But when I got there at 10:35 they stopped serving breakfast and changed the sign right in front of me. 10:30 is too early to start serving lunch. So since Mc Donald's right across the street was still serving breakfast until 11:00 I went there. I have been having a lot of problems with this particular Burger King so I guess I will just have to stop going there. A lot of times they can't even get your order right.

I just returned from the Burger King here in Salem, while i was there there was only 1 clerk on duty at the counter while the manager wandered about doing absolutely nothing, Well a man came in with his child which he had no control over and obviously didn't care while his child proceeds to crawl up on the counter yell into the register mikes and while running up and down the counter several times with dog feces on the bottom of his shoes. The manager after about 5 minutes finally gets off of her butt and pats him on the head smiles, laughs and walks back off and quietly out of the child's hearing range softly says "you need to get down now" and smiles having supposedly done her managerial duty. I then tell the clerk on duty about the dog crap on the bottom of the kids shoes and he then tell me well you do know your food is on a tray. I then started to tell him about cross contamination, if its on the counter then its on the bottom of my tray, when i put it on my table its then on my table. I my wife and 2 kids are not eating off of 1 tray because there to sorry to get out some disinfectant to wipe the counter down. another 10 minutes later our food is finally ready and the manager wanders by and actually hands us our food then began to give me lip when I said your not putting that on the counter.

This fast food establishment has really really gone down hill over the past few years, I have had large groups of managers actually block the doors and refuse to move because they didn't want to put out there smoke, wrong orders are the norm here. rude and uncaring employees and management. Its truly sad, Burger King used to be one of my favorite places to stop now in only stop in one out of necessity when forced to.

I went through the drive through with a friend and we ordered enough food for the two of us, and two drinks. Got to the window, paid, and got our drinks. The girl started to hand us a bag, and Manager Randy (and obviously the QUEEN of Burger King, I must add), starts telling her that she had the wrong order and didn't know what she was doing, and she was just wasting his time. She came back to us and even had to ask if we had paid or not, she was so stressed by the Burger Queen.

So the girl looked in the first bag and established that it was our bag, after all. Did Burger Queen settle down and apologize? No. So she handed the bag she was trying to hand out in the first place to us. Then she handed us a second bag. Burger Queen was confused since there were two bags, and decided to tell the girl what a waste of time she was to him. I glanced in the bags, and they looked like what we were supposed to have. We were so embarrassed for the girl that we just drove away. Then I started looking for the napkins. Randy the Burger Queen had freaked her out so bad she couldn't even remember to load a bag with some napkins.

Thanks, Randy, for another great experience. Good luck on teaching that group of trailer park boys (we all know why you keep hiring them) to count to six, nine, and 12 when filling the cheesy tot orders. Those are all even numbers, so why do I keep getting odd numbers of tots when I orders?

My children were mortified by the crazy commercial using poor lyrics and bad visuals trying to sell a Sponge Bob square pants kids meal. They were not impressed and somewhat grossed out! It is a 'KIDS MEAL' not an adult product. Sexual and disgusting lyrics will not sell this to young children and Burger King should be ashamed for stooping so low. The CREEPY King character used to represent Burger King is bad enough.

I Was a Team leader for Heartland Blood Center. I went for lunch to the subway sandwich shop. I had to walk across the parking lot to cross MClean BLVD, and twisted my ankle in a pot hole, fell to my knees tore my scrubs hurt my rotator cuff when I broke my fall. I got back to my feet after the fall before a car hit me. I dusted off my clothes and limped across MClean Blvd. I sat down in the Subway store due to pain in my knees. A co-worker came into the store and I told her what happen she asked me to ride back to the blood center in her car. Once in the blood center my supervisor put ice on my knee. After work I went to the burger king restaurant and filed an incident report. By this time my limp was greater. I then drove home half way there if realized that I did not take a picture to the hole. I drove back to elgin and used my camera phone and took a picture. By Sunday my ankle was swollen so I went to Emergency room to take X-rays. I was given crutches and an air cast. My new job required that I not miss more than two days or I will loose my job. When I got to work in Elgin on Monday morning the Claims adjuster from Gill management called me about the accident. She said she could not see the pot hole because it had been filled over the weekend. I told her that was not a problem because I have pictures of the pot hole. Two weeks later my shoulder started hurting and by 3 .5 weeks I could not lift a pen. I went to the emergency room on a Friday to make sure my arm was not broken. They determine my rotator cuff was injured and gave me a shot to relax the muscles. I missed work the next day.

I did not asked for any of this. My new job paid me $17.00/ hour and time and half on the weekend. I submitted my bills for chiropractor - $1000.00, Blue cross Blue shield $900.00, $362.00 lost wages and deductibles. and $2138.00 for pain and suffering. Total claim including medical bills $4, 400.00

Gill management has denied the claim and accused me of walking into the pot hole. I no longer have my job and drawing blood while of crutches was a contributing factor. This was not my fault and Burger King say they are not liable for the holes in their parking lot.

Consumer beware do not try and be honest and work with the insurance company in an equitable manner. You must get a Lawyer if not you will be screwed over big time. I am not going to stop. I will go to [redacted].com and warn the consumer. It is wrong to sue a company just because you have a small injury. But this company has a responsibility to keep their property in order as to not cause injury to the customers. I did not get a lawyer because everything presented to them was in order, and properly documented. Use what happen to me and do not get screwed over.

If you obtain a lawyer, the lawyer has the professional experience to apply pressure, and the appearance is that you are willing to pursue the issue legally. The response that you have received was merely done to thwart your individual efforts. You must pursue this issue with legal representation. It is the principle sometimes, and not the monetary. However, they are liabale for your injury due to negligence in not maintaining the parking lot for customer's. Do not let this go with a mere shrug. That is why we say, no one can take away the knowledge. You need someone to help you with the knowledge and experience.

When would you be forced to go to Burger King? Oh, wait, does the Burger King have a gun to your head? If so, just type "Almonds are both nutritious and delicious" and I will email the police.

Burger King fraud and cheating

I agree with the gentleman who also wrote on here about the Burger King on Grant and Alvernon. That is a group of disgusting, unhappy, non-caring individuals. I will NEVER go there ever because of a few bad experiences, but the one that sticks out the most is, when I went there and got ignored at the counter for at least 5 minutes and no one else was in line.

The guy was sitting in the back and kept looking at me, but never once said 'Hello' or 'I'll be right with you' he just flat out ignored me. I said 'hello' loudly so someone would come take my order, because I was on a limited time schedule due to it being my lunch break, finally a manager came up all sweaty in the face and pits. He didn't greet me, just walked up and stood in front of the register.

I told him I was ignored by the other guy and this wasn't the first time this had happened and I wanted his boss's name. He took my order, went it back, and then made me wait another 10 minutes for my food! No one expedited my order or anything. He came back up and handed me a piece of paper with a number on it, and said 'call this number to complain'. I got my order and walked out extremely mad... I would have walked out, except they had already taken my money, and calling someone to come up and refund it was pointless.

The next day I called the number, and it was not anybody that had anything to do with Burger King. It was a random number! He gave me a fake number! I never go there. It's dirty and run by a bunch of meth heads.

My daughter worked for Burger King in Eaton Rapids, MI for 3 months. During this time she was harassed by 2 of the managers. The Head manager ignored her when she asked to speak with him on these issues. She was then fired without warning by one of the managers that was harassing her. He harassed her by saying awful things about her boyfriend and she asked him to stop and was told she had an attitude. The attitude was provoked. The other manager would talk to the employees about his sex life and employees have quit because of these to managers. I would like to see some action taken against the two harassers and the other manager that ignored the situation.

Burger King lies

I brought a Burger King coupon into the store for aBYGO free Chicken Whopper and the manager said they don't make those anymore. I told her nicely that another BK honored it and gave me the tendergrill instead- same product, different name. She changed her mind and decided that they don't honor ANY of those coupons. That made me so mad. We walked out and WILL NOT EVER eat there. If that isn't enough, the gentleman in front of us ordered a huge meal and after he had paid and waited, they told him they didn't have it, was that OK. He was mad too!

Burger King burger / hygiene

i oredered 4 whopper meals for my family and me, and ordered 1 kids meal for my daughter, i asked for 1 burger without mayonnaise and gerkins, once i took the meals home i realised that all of the burgers had mayo and gerkins on, everything else seemed to be ok until, my mum took a bite out of her burger only to find a long hair in it, this made her vomit, she threw her burger in the bin, and i went back to burger king to tell them about this only to find that when i got there most of the staff (including the supervisor) did not have any hairnets on and there hair was not tied back properly, i recieved my money back for the burger with the mayo and gerkins, but the supervisor said she could not do anything about the burger with the hair in it because it was in the bin, i'm very disapointed with the service as my family have been customers for many years, we would like the matter to be resolved as soon as possible please.
if you need any further information do not hesitate to contact me. i would also be grateful if you can inform me of the action taken. thank you. mrs. brooks

As a regular customer, I was extremely angry to find that bugler king at bury, M66 has stopped serving my favourite strawberry cheesecake ice cream! The cornetto replacement was vile ! The strawberry ice cream was a major attraction for my custom and I will now try out your competitors unless it is re introduced. I am disgusted.

Burger King rudeness/cleanliness/employee relations

I visited the dining room on 8-24-08 at 1p.m. the manager that was there his absolutely hidios and very unprofessional his name was Jim he would not relay his last name. the store was very dirty my order was completely wrong and his employee relations are totally ridiculous the entire time that I was try to enjoy my meal he was steadily yelling at employees and talking to the like they were just low life dirt. I have been a customer in this store for well over 5 years and always have had a great experience I will no longer visit this burger king and I will also let everyone I know exactly what kind of establishment this is. I appoached the manager and expressed my thoughts to him and as I was exiting the door the manager used abussive curse words. I am glad to know that burger king employees managers of inproffesionalism as they have here lately. I do a lot of blogging and this will definetly be on them.I assume to take my money to other establishements where I am treated with dignity and respect and can enjoy my meals in peace.

Burger King assistant manager

I went into Burger King on 9/21/08 at 1128 am. The order was taken great except there was one to many Kids meals on my receipt. The cashier noticed it immediately after tshe charged my debit card for $41.58. She said she would get the manager then the asst. manager came out to recredit my $3.39 for the kids meal. She acted as if she had never credited a debit card in her whole life. She cancelled my whole order and said the cashier had to put my whole order in again. Now she debits my card for another $37.90. Why she couldn't have just did the $3.39 I don't know. Now my food is ready for 10 minutes and I still have not paid the manager throws my to go order on a tray spills all the fries and when I told her it was to go she just picked up the 6 boxes of fries and dumped the fries from the tray into the bag. I don't know if she is new or what but that is not how you treat a guest. I will not return to there again until she knows how to do her job and treat customers with respect. Also thanks to your cashier for understanding the situation.

I visited store 3867 in Lawton Ok at 12:50 pm 12 Jul 2017. As I walked into the store I noticed it was extremely humid and hot inside the establishment. The lady who took my order came to the register dripping wet from sweat. I asked her was she alright and she replied yes. I placed my order and asked another female why it was so hot in here. Her reply was the Air Conditioning Unit is out. I asked her how long, she replied for weeks. I was stunned beyond belief. Specifically how the owner and managers allow their valued employees to work in adverse conditions. (i.e. sweat box) The ladies also told me that someone tried to fix it but could not therefore they are waiting for a new AC Unit. I said why doesn't someone rent portable AC units to keep the employees cool while conducting day to day business. They looked at me with deer in head light look, as though "wishful thinking". It is absolutely amazing how some owners, cooperate business men/woman have little disregard for their employees well being. I no nothing will be done about this, someone will just sweep it under the rug, have a meeting with the employees, apologize and tell them see you tomorrow. I am prepared to call KSWO news if the A/C Unit is not fixed by 1200 noon 13 July 2017.

I agree that Burger King employees need to work better at treating there customers with respect and make then feel more valued. The couon rule should be changed to except more then 1 coupon per order and should be more helpful to handicap customers. I personally was treated very bad at the Burger King in Ankeny, Iowa. The Assisant Manager refused my order because I became irritated at the speaker in there drive thru and could not her it very well. I was in the process of paying for my mothers order and the young man that asked for the money walked away, and then I told my my I hated when you go to pay for something and the person walks away. The Assisant manager stepped in and said no one walked away and she had heard me give my order and I did not place an order. She was yelling at my mother and I . My mom asked her to stopped yelling and she kept yelling and was sticking her head almost out the window and was spitting on me as she yelled. I told her she was out of line and I was going t report her. She said go right ahead they will support me sticking up for my staff against a customer like you. I told her I was never coming back there again, she said that was a good thing because they did not want customers like me and I was banned from there store. I was angry and told her to F*** Off and that she was a F*** Bi*ch and drove off. I have never been treated so badly as I was treated at this Burger King. Burger King has gone down hill on how they train there staff and I will never eat there again. After this happened I went to Mc Donalds and was treated with repect and the staff was very friendly there. This is why there number 1 and Burger King Continues to fall in there ranks. Peaple just need to stop eating there. There food is awful anyways.

I work as an assistant Manager at a Burger King in my town. A lot of customers don't understand why fast food restaurants do what they do but we have very strict procedures that we need to follow. Whether or not the customer agrees is not something we can do anything about. I'll try to put some light on both situations so you can understand why we do what we do.

The kids meal complaint-
I don't know how the newer stores work but my store cannot credit you the money back. We have to void the entire order and enter it in again. It's a hassle for sure but it eliminates the possibility for an employee to "accidentally" credit somebody's card too much money. It eliminates the possibility of fraud and theft. I know it's a hassle but it's the only way to avoid further frustration. Better to deal with it then and there rather than trying to figure out where we're missing money. As for the fries- that was ridiculous and should not have been tolerated. That manager should have been written up... or at least had a complaint filed onto them. I would have written them up immediately if I witnessed this. You deserved fresh fries and a couple free apple pies for the inconvenience.

The coupon complaint-
We are not allowed to take more than 1 coupon per order, per person, per visit. I understand how frustrating this is because some promotions (like the recent twilight promotion) give out loads of free coupons. We do this so we don't end up giving away half our inventory to customers for free. It's a marketing technique that allows people free food... yet keeps it strict and under control to save us money. Chances are that if a person comes in for a free whopper sandwich they may order something else to go with it. Or the other way around. HOWEVER, the way they handled your order wasn't acceptable. All customers, no matter how rude or ridiculous they may be acting, are to be treated with the utmost respect. I do not like hearing about complaints from customers and my employees know this. They treat everyone with respect or get written up. We are there to serve you. There is no need for anybody, the employee or the customer, to be rude. I feel, as a representative for Burger King, that I should apologize to you for such an awful experience. Although I am two years late, hopefully you'll come across this sometime. Have a wonderful day and be sure to check out the all new Burger King breakfast menu!

Hello, my husband and I went to the Burger king in Shelton, Washington on Thursday(October 31, 2008) evening. We each had our OWN coupon from a booklet that was mailed out by Burger King. My husband is elderly and fighting cancer, so we ordered from a drive thru. The person at the window was very rude and would not let us use the 2 coupons in 1 drive thru( even though he could have ran it as 2 orders), and because I was doing the driving...I could NOT come inside and order unless 2 hours had passed! He would NOT listen to anything I had to say. So my husband had to muster up the energy and go inside himself to order his. He was treated rude in there also.( They acted like the extra food from the coupon we were getting was coming out of their pocket and we did not deserve it.) This was very unexceptable to us! I felt so terrible for him, as this was a treat for us to do. Going back there in the future will have to take some thought. Joyce

Burger King broken tooth filling

First, I ordered what I wanted and then was told they were out; they had just sold the last one. So I ordered something different. I bit into the sandwich which was hard as a rock and it broke the filling in my tooth which then fell out! Tried to just eat the meat on sandwich and it was spoiled or tainted. Went to another BK who gave me the order I had originally wanted and gave me the phone number of the district manager. I called him and he promised to call me back that day. No call. I called him back 2 weeks later and reminded him of this and he told me he would have to call someone else and get them to call me. I gave him my number to do so. So far, no call back yet. One more day and I will call customer relations. Either they will pay for my tooth repair or my lawyer will be in touch!

Burger King gross, inedible food

Avoid this location at all possible costs! My DH and I went there to get food for dinner; when we received it, I noticed that my Whopper Junior was cold and mentioned it to the manager. What does she do, does she make me a new one? Heck no! She NUKED the friggin' thing! Okay, fine - go with it to avoid issues.

We get home, start pulling the food out. My oldest daughter's chicken sandwich seemed hot; she opened it and it was overcooked. Ewwww, strike one. My DH's steakhouse burger thing was also overcooked, and the edges felt like it had come out of the refrigerator. It also smelled nasty (but that could have been the steakhouse gunk they put on it). Strike two. I then proceeded to check my onion rings and the kids' chicken fingers; all were dry, overcooked and ICE COLD. Strike three.

I was ready to go back right then; but my DH happened to notice something that REALLY topped it off for me. He handed me my youngest daughter's apple fries and told me to look at the date. SEPTEMBER FOURTH. I can see a day or two out of code, but almost two WEEKS?! HELL NO! You do NOT mess with my kids' health by trying to pawn that expired crap on us! We went back there; I stormed in, dropped the bags on the counter and basically went pregnant-hormone-postal on her ###. Feeling tears come on, I threw up my hands after my 30 second tirade and stormed outside, where I let out a good AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH. On my way out, I noticed a younger couple sitting there eating, and they kept looking at their food, chewing slower and slower, as if they weren't sure if they should finish it. LMAO I just looked at them and said, "Dont' come back, TRUST me." I felt bad for causing a scene; but at the same time, like I said, you do NOT mess around with me, when it comes to my kids' health all bets are off.

Do yourselves a favor; do NOT eat at this location anymore. I will be contacting the Health Department tomorrow about this incident. I no longer have the receipt; but I'm sure they will still be happy to take my report. Yuck.

Burger King rude treatment

I stoped at the Ishpeming, Mi. burger King to get some sandwitches and fries from the local Burger King. The order process went fine with a newer older woman at the window. Once I pulled around to the window and paid my $25.16 for my order the cashier asked me to pull a head so she could give the 2 cars behind me there food first. I politly said no I am here and just paid for my food I should be given my order first. The cashier told the much younger woman in the red shirt her name is Lynne. that I said I would not pull a head so the other 2 cars could get there food first. Lynne said from in front of the frie station loud enough for me to hear her say "Its not that hard to pull ahead" I told the cashier that its not that hard to get me my order either. This Lynne worker in the red shirt said she couldnt hear me and told me to shut up. I told her that I as a customer dont deserve such treatment for wanting my food first seeing that I had placed my order before the 2 cars behind me. She (Lynne) kept going on about me letting the others get there food first and I told her to just give me back my $25.16 and I would give here back the 4 sodas that I was given and I would go to McDonalds instead. I also told her that I know the manager of this franchise and that I was going to register a complaint with management over this treatment. She (lynne) got my $25.16 out of the till and I gave her the 4 sodas. as I was leaving the lot I was about 15 feet past the window she sticks her self half way out the window and yells loudly so every one pumping gas at the Holiday gas station next door could her "dont ever come back here" now the other problem I have here is I called the district Managers number and she didnt answer, as well as there isnt anyway to complain online to Burger King management. I have seen better web sites from lesser companies.

I called the Marquette Mi office to get Jen the DM's phone number. I did explain to pam a little bit of what happened, but in full detail as I know she was going to call Lynne and find out what happened, and to give her a heads up...as I said I know the manager I will talk to him when I see him next week...

Burger King theft / fraud / bad service

I purchased a $10 gift card and attempted to order a meal on sale on 9/10/2008. The sale was not honored despite the sign outside and was told that it would have to be after 4pm to honor.. I made the gift card purchase and left. i have the recpt for the gift card, the current manager was not avaliable to speak with and i was turned away. Normally, I love Burger King and the food. But this location is filthy, most meals i order are dryed up and unacceptable. I am filing a formal complaint with the BBB, the Health Dept. and Attorney General. I will return there tomorrow and demand a refund, call the police if necessary and cause an unpleasant scene. This place needs to be bulldozed, the owner or manager of the franchise needs to be fired or fined. DO NOT GO TO BURGER KING on Lemmon in Dallas!...

At Burger King here in GunBarrel, Colorado, (near Boulder), I had a terrible burger...one that had cilantro and salsa stuck to it. When i looked at the kitchen, it was a disaster with food all over the counter and floors where the food was made. Also, MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT has been the false advertising over FRESH OFF THE GRILL...yeah, right...fresh out of the drawer! I have had terrible food the last several years and quit going to Burger King, as i always get crap for food! I am NOT tempted to go back either!
I can remember back in the late 70's when a Whopper was awesome...tasty, delicious and fresh. They have went downhil in the 80's and 90's with one place even "microwaving" a so-called fresh burger right out of the drawer. It was fused to the bottom bun which was flat as a pancake! i complained and got another just like it! Then, i wanted my money back.
On my last visit ever to a Burger King, I was given my money back right when i ordered food. EVERYONE THERE got there money back. They got to eat the food, free. it was terrible! The person was a "clean-up" person, one who goes to terrible Burger King's and tries to fix the problem. She took our complaints and said they were going to close that location and give it a make-over. Too late for me! that was the last straw!
When i did construction work, we used the drive-thru at a location in South Denver. At least THREE TIMES, My food was not in the bag! I am sick of their crappy quality and FALSE ADVERTISING with the big, juicy burger...that really pisses me off...poor service, rip-offs and just "who cares" attitude. How can I justify even trying them again? They have lost a long-time loyal customer. yes, it is up to the franchise owner...but B.K. headquarters should monitor the food their franchisees serve the public. They have really went down hill.
