lack of customer service, charges to account
They charge me for a Create & Print account that I do not use, now going on two years that I have paid for this account and not used it at all. Refuse to refund charge and when I finally got a human being they would not help me. Even when speaking to a manager, he would not help and told me I could write to the corporate address. I asked him if a human being would open the letter, read it, and respond to it and he would not commit to that happening.
Too bad, because I have used the ecard account for years and would like to have kept it. They would rather lose all of my business rather than make right on the fraudlent charges.

their phone systems sends you in circles
Out of the blue I can not get on because of a "cookie" issue. Based on the most frequently asked questions this must happen to many. My system has not be updated or changed since the last time I used Blue Mountain. Just to humor myself I followed their instructions for troubleshooting a cookie session and results were zip. Just try to get in touch with them. Their phone systems sends you in circles and you can not reach them from their website. I want this years subscription prorated and returned to me. If I receive one more charge on my credit card I will dispute it.

If you are having trouble contacting anyone for support, call blue mountain and select SIGN UP FOR A NEW ACCOUNT. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET A LIVE PERSON ON THE PHONE.
Yell and scream at them about how angry you are and they will eventually give you a refund. They will tell you that the terms of service say you will be billed and that they can't refund you the money. However, their terms of service also say they will send you an email notifying you of billing. I never got this email. They tried to say it was because it was a new membership but not a renewal, but I screamed and yelled "NO, you give me a refund or I will call back every minute of every hour of every day until you give me the refund that I deserve! YOU NEVER NOTIFIED ME THROUGH EMAIL THAT YOU WERE GOING TO BEGIN BILLING!" They told me to calm down and gave my my refund...but beware...
I initially submitted a dispute with my credit card company over the charge and they fought right back and tried to rebill me after promising a refund. This is my third time calling CapitalOne to dispute the charge.
FIGHT BACK AGAINST THESE CRIMINALS!
Blue Mountain Greeting Cards has a Create & Print feature that doesn't work at all. When I try to contact Customer Service by phone, they say to press # for an operator. Then they say that an operator is not available at this time. In other words, the site has repeatedly failed and there is no one to hold accountable. I understand from reading other complaints that cancelling service is difficult. That will be my next attempt.
I signed up for a one month "free" trial on 11th June 2017. I had to pay $3.99 for a month to get this "free" trial but decided to go ahead anyway. Now (24th june 2017) I have logged on to try to send a card and I am stuck in a loop where it keeps taking me back to the subscription page and asking me to pay again! I have only sent one card to my partner as a practice run. I could have gone and bought a real card for that price. NOT HAPPY! To add insult to injury it is impossible to contact them as there is no email address. As I live in Australia I can't take advantage of their free call either.
too bad no one is available to speak to. I love the site but will never consent to have someone automatically renew me. been writing them but never get a direct answer. Been a member of e-mail cards and create and print a card for quite a long time. want to mail my dues or just make a one year purchase, will be looking for a new site.
I had the same problem. Went to Internet Explorer and typed in BM site and it went thru. Hope this helps you like it did me.
scam artists
I signed up for a free trial with Blue Mountain and after my first few e-cards, I discovered my friend did not receive all the cards I sent. I decided to cancel my trial membership after 5 days of the trial period. I tried cancelling online but they emailed me says that I cannot do it online because of security reasons. ###! If I can sign on with my credit cards information, what security is there for me to cancel online. What a load of crap from Blue Mountain! I decided to use the card because I had good memories of Blue Mountain cards in the 80s. I used to live and study in Boulder Colorado and am very familiar with the husband and wife company. Now that it belongs to American Greeting, all this slimy business ways is unethical. I live in Malaysia and it is almost impossible for me to make this call to a 1-800 number, besides, I will not be able to use this 1-800 number at all because it is an international call. After numerous emails to them via their online site, still no replies.. So before my trial period expires, and I checked that they have not yet charged my card, I call mu bank to report a fraud from Blue Mountain and have my card reported as stolen. Although physically not stolen, if they attempt to take money from my credit card without my consent after during the trial period, it will be stealing. The credit card is now invalid and they will not be able to charge it! I have made a point to circulate my experience with Blue Mountain to all my friends in Malaysia and Asia so that they will not fall into the trap that Blue Mountain has so carefully laid. Easy to join, impossible to get out ! Yes, let's put unscrupulous thieves out of business!
They have awful customer service and bill your credit card after free trial with no refund policy.
I totally agree. It took me almost a year to get them from automatically billing me.
For two years I have been cancelling my membership "free trial" and fighting charges which appear on my bank account. Blue Mountain should be ashamed of themselves for doing business in such a deceitful manner. My bank once again has to refuse payment on Blue Mountain's attempt to steal money from me. EVERYONE: SHARE YOUR BAD EXPERIENCES AND PUT THESE PEOPLE OUT OF BUSINESS!
unable to contact
On 23rd December I applied for a 14 day free trial of Blue Mountain e-cards. I had to pay through Paypal, and was told that it would not be deducted from my account if I notified them within the 14 days. However there is no way I can contact them to cancel my account, and I must contact them or they will charge me.
I have not purchased any e-cards I did not used there service at all, and I want to cancel without them taking my money What can I do.
I think it is appalling how they operate, and I am disgusted with there antics.
Please help.

unauthorised subscription
I was extremely annoyed to find that blue mountain had taken a years subscription from my account without my authorisation. I was completely unaware of any renewal agreement. I asked for the account to be closed immediately and that the money taken would be refunded. They closed the account but ignored the refund. I have been unable to make contact with bluemountain since. They do not reply.
Why are companies allowed to behave in this way? This is nothing short of theft. I would not recommend that anyone deal with this company.

Got charged for a service I did not sigh up for. Did speak with someone at Blue Mountain|. Explained that I did not order this charge of $29".99, they said that they could not reverse it, .
Had to go to the bank, I had to cancel my card because of this fraudulent charge". Get this, they (Blue Mountain) do not ever have a secure funding because the name the person (if at all) used was Jhhk Jhhkkhj and with a fictitious address and phone %|.
I called the number and the police in the town of the fake address".
Go figure, none of this information matched the information that goes with the account # of the card (mine) that was used/. So they do not check, just create and take..
email scam
I recieved an email offering a "FREE" greeting card. As I am following the link and conpleting information when it became obvious this was not a "FREE" offer. I aborted the process but not early enough as this company had my name and address. I then started to recieve a statement from BILL ME LATER for a service which I did not order. I continued to recieve billing statements that showed late fees and intertest again for again something I did not agree to.
Two phone calls to BILL ME LATER had no results and after letters to them, their collection agency and the Florida Consumers services, I recieved a letter from BILL ME LATER that I should have read the "fine print".
These companies, Blue Mountain Cards and BILL ME LATER both prey on unsuspecting individuals through the offer of "FREE" items and the billing of unsolicited services which were not agreed to or used.
I will not use the services of any website that uses BILL ME LATER and recommend to all my friends and relatives to "BE AWARE" as well.

unauthorized billing
I've been a member of Blue Mountain for quite a while -- but several months ago there was an unauthorized charge of 29.99 for membership into their Create/Print program which I would NEVER use! Have been unable to get any response from them other than an acknowledement that I have two accounts -- one of which is the one I'm complaining about. I've requested a refund -- no response. Don't know how to cancel my membership - they have my credit card number and will just go on charging membership fees! What's my recourse?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
June 11, [protected] - i cancelled during my trial period - same day I opened the trial account. Now, 30 days later - they have billed me. I can't find a recourse. Ideas please would be helpful.
e card scam
http://www.bluemountain.com/
My wife subscribed to this free trial of e-cards which advised the account would be cancelled in 14 days. It was not cancelled and we were charged $15.99 (£9.87). The credit card came in and I questioned it and she advised that it was only one card she had sent and it was on a free trial basis. I looked at the website and there is nowhere in the site of the value to be charged. It looks like there are a number of people beened scammed with this so STAY WELL CLEAR! I told my wife that there is nothing for free in this world someone has to pay for it somewhere and do not give credit card details especially if it does not state how much it is going to cost clearly they are hiding something ie A SCAM!

Blue Mountain Cards has a very difficult website if you have gotten charged for their service. Their phone support makes it difficult, but not impossible to get help. [protected] is their automated phone support. The trick to get a live person is to ask for "new membership" when prompted and it will put you through to a live rep, which will then take care of refunding your money and cancelling your account.
Beware of this company. They will automatically bill you for renewal that you did not authorize.
This company is clearly dishonest and makes it very hard to contact them to cancel and refund unauthorized charges. i have had sam experience of many people who have listed complaints on line
I have also had my "FREE" membership turn into the membership that never ends. I cancelled before the "free" trial ended. This is the second year I am fighting it. Thankfully Amex is wonderful about disputes for bogus charges. Be warned, you will NEVER get through to a live representative. Everything is done through email (which you can't track because it is through their system), or through the automated line where there is no option to ever speak to anyone after you reach their endless abyss of promts. Avoid like the plague!
When I talked to the representative, he asked me for my email then zip code attached (as if I was an active member)
When I stated that I wanted to cancel my membership, he then ask me for my full address... when I gave it to him
he stated that my account wasn't active... (I haven't been using it since 2006)... but obviously I am a member considering
I've been charged EVERY YEAR!... He then proceeded to tell me to call back with my credit card# (which I didn't had on me)
Called back... now talking to another operator... again the same run down... acted as if I was a member..
but once she pulled up mailing address/email address...she states it doesn't associate with my CC billing address...
obviously something didn't add up.. she then told me to make a dispute to my CC company... (which I did)
Because I haven't been using my old CC, I was able to cancel it and get a new acct #... but seriously is this the ONLY way to
cancel membership with bluemountain?
I am currently disputing THREE payments to Blue Mountain. They charged me $19.99 twice, and $9.99 today. I am disputing this with my bank as they are unresponsive. When I FINALLY found the telephone number, I was disconnected three times before I got to speak with an actual person. She assured me that my money would be put back into my account, but instead I was charged an additional payment. Do NOT subscribe even to the free trial because then you get hooked into their never-ending unresponsive scam and you will NOT find any resouces for assistance at their website or via the phone.
have alread filed my comment
This is the second year that I have been charged for BlueMountain Cards and I have not requested this. I DO NOT SEND E-CARDS. Last year I tried to contact them with no success. This year I am going to call my bank and tell them that the charge was not for me and will not pay it. Let the bank get the money back from BlueMountain. They have NO PLACE on their site for you to contact them. THEY are operating a very BIG SCAM. From now on I will not open any mail that says card from BLUEMOUNTAIN, JUST DELETE IT. Larry G Smith
difficult to cancel auto renewal
I finally found out how to unsubscribe from the auto system. Call [protected] and follow the auto system to new accounts. You get a real person and you can then unsubscribe.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The membership defaults to auto renewal yet the screen that allows you to deselect that flashes by and doesn't give you enough time to actually deselect auto renewal.
Blue Mountain have been taking a monthly subscription from my credit card without authorisation since 2011. I am unable to access my account and all attempts to resolve the issue have been unsuccessful with the company. They must have taken in the region of 500 USD from my account that I would like to recover.
Heart health has declined in recent years, have had several heart attacks and storkes in the past few years. I have had problems remembering passwords and the accounts. My major problem is with Microsoft. I have had problems with them and my passwords. My email with this account is delilahbeth111@gmail.com I reached my limit w them Thank you
I have used BM egreetings since 2012. Such varied experiences for all e-greeting companies. Personally speaking I have had no problems with the company. I do not use Auto Renewal with anything on the Internet, to me that's just asking for Credit Card or PayPal problems.
What is your experience been like in [protected]?
Blue Mountain is still charging credit cards without the cardholder's permission as of May, 2014. I emailed them since I could not get through to anyone on the phone or via live chat, and threatened to complain to the FTC, their parent company, and post to every single consumer fraud website I could find if they didn't refund my money. This is fraud, plain and simple, and should not be tolerated, especially when it's perpetrated by a huge corporation like America Greetings. I will never do business with them again and advise you to stay away.

I agree wholeheartedly with the complaint. Thank you for the tip. I finally reached a live person because of the information you provided. I will never use this service again. I am going to have to cancel my credit card. Blue MOuntain's website does NOT provide a method of removing credit card information from your account even after the subscription is cancelled. Their business practices are questionable at best.
can't contact customer service
Blue Mountain is a good site for sending e-cards, but it is impossible to get in contact with customer service when there is a problem. Isn't that illegal?
I changed my e-mail address on their site from my work e-mail to my home e-mail address. However, I'm still receiving "reminders" from them on my work e-mail address. How I love being reminded of Fathers' Day! NOT! My father passed away many years ago.
In April before my yearly membership expired they began bombarding me with e-mails saying that my membership was ending and indicating there was some problem with renewal (which there wasn't), and then renewed it anyway. Again, there was no way to contact them to straighten it out.
How can a company stay in business when there's no way to resolve problems with customers? There's not even an address to send snail mail to!

Wow, what a dirty and dishonest company! The links to contact bluemountain through email send you to and from the same pages. This loop provides no email address. Maybe they think that is a funny practical joke. I don't and I spent $25 on my mother last week. She never received that money. What they do certainly should be illegal if it isn't.
Don't TELL me, I will be paying over $15.00 a month like the lady abovee my comment! If so, take me off as a member.
I have been trying to reach Customer Service to no avail.
I paid through Credit Union ( Sidney N.Y.) $35.98) to Blue Mt., to send ONE card, i n March. I assume you took me on as a MEMBER? of Blue Mt. e-cards? WHY would U charge 35.98 iif NOT?
I don't have a password, don't remember getting one.
I REALLY want to send an e-card TODAY.
Can you help me?
I wish I had done a google search BEFORE I agreed to the 14 day trial with Bluemountain.com. After the fact I read all the complaints. The $15.99 just came out of my account this week, when I noticed it said recur payment, I then called my bank because I understood it to not be a MONTHLY $15.99 payment or I would never have done it. Like others on here have said, I've tried calling the toll free # with no one answering, so no solution there. The only answer is to cancel my debit card and get another one which will cost me a lot of time changing my bill pay information with my credible on-line billing companies. This really is frustrating, what a way to make money! I should have checked it out first as I said earlier, what a way to learn. Debbie from Tennessee
I, too, have been trying unsuccessfully to cancel my membership to Blue Mountain e-cards. Two years ago I got the message that if I did not wish to continue with Blue Mountain, all I had to do was cancel within a month which I did. Yet this has been deducted from my credit card account and now it is being taken out of my checking account and I don't know how they got that. This company is getting money from my accounts illegally and I am going to do something about this.
I am surprised that many others are having the same problem with this company. In all my years I have never seen anyone so crooked and something needs to be done to stop these people.

charged yearly fee after I already cancelled
I need to cancel my subscription to blue Mountain ecards NOW. I would like to contest the fee for $15.99 that was charged to my bank account on 6/10/09, which caused my account to be overdrawn and fees assessed for that. This very same thing happened to me last year so I sent an email via BM customer service asking for my membership to be cancelled. Here was are a year later and the exact same thing happened, but I already cancelled! There is no phone number to call on the website and this is the only venue I've found to address my situation. I have no idea if BM will even get this, but I plan to file with the BBB if I do not get a response this time.

I just checked my bank account balances online, and discovered ECARDS BLUEMOUNTAIN TELEPHONE PAYMENT for $16.90. I have never used Blue Mountain, and have never authorized any charges. Of course, this charge just showed up, so I'll have to wait until Monday to call.
Surely it must be illegal for a company to charge an individual's account without their permission! I have no idea how they got my number, but $16.90 has been billed to my account!
Companies like this should be investigated for fraud, theft and SHUT DOWN!
refund needed from blue mountain cards online
I see I am not the only one to deal with this problem of bluemountain.com. Unbeknownst to me, they charged my paypal account for a renewal that I didn't want. I have exchanged much email with paypal and finally, blue mountain to receive a refund of my 15.99 charge and they refuse to do it. To me this is unethical and fraudulent. when i went to check my account and remove my info so they could no longer charge me, while waiting for the refund, i saw that the paypal option was way way down on the screen and so i thought the checking account and charge accounts were black and couldn't be charged.
at first there was no email address to ask for the refund. finally when i called their phone number they supplied, there was no way to get through to a person.
in googling, i found without looking, at least one other person with my same problem. i am sure there are hundreds and even thousands more that are being bilked by an autho-pay system that they never asked for. i have dealt with this company for years and have had few problems staying for free or as a paid member. of late, they refuse, repeat refuse to work with the customer at all after numerous requests.
i recommend that you as customers stay away and if anyone can help me, i would so appreciate that.
if bluemountain replies they will put a canned letter and not mention how i tried to stop the paypal payment and their system did not allow me to do that. they will not mention no attempt at any time in the last two months to help me, nor how they didn't even have an email address for weeks and how their phone system is only automated so doesn't work for the customer.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
why are you taking this old woman`s money? i have never heard of you. much less be a member.you had better refund my money NOW!
i was checking my account because i knew i was low on money, just wanted to be sure i had enough to pay my bill, and i didn`t. this company blue mountain cards had taken money from my bank account and i have never even heard of them much less signed up with them. i am a older women that has to have her money just to pay her bills. now there isn`t enough money in my account to pay my bill and i will be charged 35.oo because it isn`t in there.
i can not get anyone on the phone justa computer that asked questions that i have no answer.
YOU CAN GET THROUGH TO A PERSON! You just have to be persistent. When you call, the chief purpose of the automated system is to get you to hang up, but if you choose the "technical help" option and then choose the last option from there ("something else") and THEN choose "agent", you will get through to a person. Getting your refund at that point will still require you to fight tooth and nail and you will have to speak with a manager. Apparently the operators are trained to refuse refunds at all costs. I had to call back twice because at first they gave me only a partial refund, although they had promised me a full refund. These guys are liars and crooks. GET YOUR MONEY BACK! IT CAN BE DONE!
I am having a problem. I am having a free membership which will be due in the next days. but I want to withdraw from this membership. I gave the paypal information but when going there there is no info about bluemountain. And no information neither on bluemountain. So where do I erase or delete the possibility to renew payements to bluemountain? There must be a place for doing this? it is getting on my nerves as I do not want to be member. thank you
I completely sympathize with Ben. I signed up for a free one month trial and was charged after 7 days with their monthly fee of $4.99. I sent an email (because that was what their automated phone service said to do) to have them correct this and after 48 hours (which they claim is their maximum time for a response) no response. I dialed their automated customer service and after going through almost all the menu options I finally got a hold of an agent. He said that I must have signed up for their 7 day free trial. I asked him where on the sign up page does it have a 7-day trial. He told me that he didn't know what I saw on that day but that is what I signed up for and there is no way he could give me a refund. I asked for the supervisor and after a 10 minute hold I was told by this same agent that I will get a refund for the latest charge. I think the bait-and-switch is completely unethical. They are a part of American Greetings card companyor AKA AG Interactive. If that is the kind of business they do I will no longer spend my money even on their greeting cards in the store. I also recommend filing a complaint with bbb.org. They are members:

Good luck, I'm waiting for my refund...
Billed for free trial offer
I agree wholeheartedly with the last writer regarding Blue Mountain. Same things happened to me. I signed up for a free trial and then received a bill from BillMeLater. I called them told them it was a free trial. They said I did not cancel in time. Tried to contact Blue Mountain, but they don't answer on the phone and there is no contact information via the internet. I have sent all to BBB's in all states involved. BillMeLater is a real scam outfit and I think Blue Mountain needs to cease doing business with them but you can't contact them to tell them so. No such thing as a free lunch and no such thing as a free trial e-cards from Blue Mountain.

Blue Mountain Arts is my favorite greeting card company and their eCards are awesome; it's a legitimate, well-run business, and I don't understand why people are suggesting it's a scam or fraud.
People who are saying they "didn't know" they signed up for a free trial or didn't approve of or agree to an ongoing subscription are either confused or not reading or paying attention to what they're doing!
- You cannot send an e-Card without signing up for their free trial. In fact, you have to choose which level of subscription you want and at what cost (week, month, or annual) before you proceed, so it's impossible not to know you will be charged or not to know the amount or agree to it (after all, you chose it and you agreed to it in order to send your first e-Card).
- They make it VERY clear on the page info you're looking at, in their notifications about it, and in follow-up how long your free trial is for and that if you don't cancel the trial before it ends, you will be billed the annual subscription cost, and (unlike many companies) they tell you exactly WHEN that renewal date and time cutoff is.
- They DO give renewal reminders every year to let you know that your account is going to renew in about 2 weeks and at what rate, giving ample time to change the subscription level or cancel if you don't want to continue (I just received mine, again). Perhaps they didn't do that a long time ago, but they are one of the FEW companies that do this, and I appreciate them for it.
They are not difficult to find or reach, either It's EASY to find them online and reach their FAQs and Customer Service (and there is a link to their site in EVERY email, reminder, and action acknowledgment they send). Their phone number is literally the FIRST hit that comes up on a Google search: https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=Blue+Mountain+e-Cards+contact+info
And right there on their "Contact Us" page they provide a link to their Help Center, a link to Cancel memberships, a phone number, and a link to submit a question/concern/issue.
See screenshot pics for examples of all of this. It's some of the clearest and most straightforward communication (not just fine print disclosures) in the online marketplace.
I'm sure a lot of people are just wanting to send a free eCard and not paying attention to the details, and there are many online greeting card providers who take advantage of that vulnerability. But NOT Blue Mountain! They don't bury that info in fine print; they make it clear and difficult to miss.
Their openness, transparency, and clarity of communication is one of the reasons why I like and prefer their eCards and use them even when I don't trust many of the others (some of which ARE scams and/or use sketchy business practices).

This company is criminal and a smart attorney could easily file a class action lawsuit against them. They've been billing my card for 3 years and will NOT cancel my membership. I had to go to my bank to get the charges stopped after multiple attempts to stop the charges through them. There is absolutely zero chance you can reach a live person via phone or even email. They are thieves that should, and I hope will, serve prison time. Although the amount is small each month, they are stealing it from thousands of people illegally. Criminals.
Beware doing any business with Blue Mountain ecards. They will bill you without authorization for a year membership @ 15.99. When you call the number listed it is 100% automated and you cannot talk to a real person. You can cancel future billing but cannot get a reversal for current membership. This is as fraudulant as it gets.
On 4/1012 I paid the $ 19.99 to be a member. I never really used the service and completely forgot about it until I got another charge on my account. I called their "help" line and it is literally impossible to speak to a Live person. You get a recording that Makes it very clear that if you want to cancel, you can, but NO REUNDS! No pro-rating. So if you cancel you have to keep the service for another year. They do not send emails prior to renewing your membership and have nothing on the website to contact them. I cancelled my membership and got an email stating it was cancelled as of... 4/10/14. Oh, and don't respond to the email, because they won't get the response and answer. It actually states that on the email. So I took the dispute to my bank. I printed out the email and wrote an explanation of what had happened and they refunded my money. Today I got a letter stating the refund will stand and they are not getting their money. Do not bother trying to get a refund from them. It's a waste of time. They are a total scam. Just to though your bank or charge card company. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would have.
I NEVER signed up for a Trial membership, and I got billed for membership! I don't know how this even happened. How did they get my credit card information? I haven't been to the Blue Mountain website in at least a couple of years, but the bill shows up on my bank statement! I looked thru my browser history for the date of my supposed trial sign-up and there is nothing even showing that I went there. This is very strange to say the least.
They purposely try to be as difficult to get in touch with as possible in order to attempt to continue billing customers' credit cards.
I unforfunately did not learn of this problem in time. I signed up for a 14 day trail on March 16, 2010. On March 27 I was notified that 75% of the cards I had sent out were not picked up. I mmediately canceled my subscription. I got an email saying it was cancled as of 2011! I wrote and explained I wanted nothing to do with the service and had attempted to cancel within the 14 days. I get a another 2 notices titled updating service with the same date of 2011! I call and I call over the next two days. Finally I reach a rep and she assures meof my cancelation and no charges on March 30. On March 31, 2010 they charge my debit card $29.99. I have written their customer service again, because I can not reach a person on their phone lines anymore. I am ready to start a class action suit against these liars for unfair charges.
Within the trial period I cancelled my membership on line. I was still charged the yearly fee and my account is still in effect. I did not want to continue the membership. I have tried the 1-888 number but there is no way to reach a human being. I only received information about my account and that I was billed in January. My account history online states that my membership expires in Jan. 2011. On the BlueMountain contact page there is no email address or other phone number to reach someone directly and efficiently. Inexcusable in today's expected easy electronic communication. However, I just spoke with a very pleasant customer service representative at American Greeting [protected] (thanks to info on another complaint message) and she checked my history that showed I had not completed the cancellation process fully. Nothing told me on the website that I would be receiving a confirmation of cancellation by email and if not to redo the process.
I am receiving a refund after consultation with a supervisor, and I made the recommendation of including their phone number & an email address on the contact page on the BlueMountain website and also adding a note about receiving a cancellation confirmation by email to ensure that a charge would not be made for the trial period.
Hopefully they'll make these changes and protect their image and creative product. I just spent an hour retrieving my $15.99. I thank the patient customer service rep at American Greetings.
Blue Mountain Arts and American Greetings are two completely different companies which offer competing services for e-Cards. You complain about one billing you but then describe cancelling through the other.
People often sign up for both when they're looking for e-cards. It sounds like you only cancelled one of them?
billing without availability to services
I signed for a free trial with intent of subscribing for a year, gave my cc information, they have charged my card and now I have no access to the services of the cards...they say I am not in the system. I cannot access them through the 800 number no way to access an actual person the the help menu cuts you off...no email contact on the website...they make it impossible to cancel membership without charging. What's up with this company...
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Customer #[protected]. Says "do not recognize" to email address signed up with. No phone number listed on sites available online. No way to reach them after hours M-F 9-5 EST for help. Before 1:30 am today latest incidence. Lost many cards because of this problem. Want extension of mbrshp for cards couldn't send. I pay when they send free cards. Huh
I was told I had a 30 day free trail then I could cancel it which I did and now I get this bill. I got your first bill and wrote on it and sent it back to cancel, I have tried to contact blue mountian but they will not be open till monday.. I spoke to one of your reps today at 1:00pm his name was Scott and he was very nice and helpful, this is what he suggested I do so here I am. Please someone help me. I am retired and live on Social Secrity and my money is important to me as I am sure yours is to. So aany help you can bless me with I will be indebted to you. Thank you so much

I have used Blue Mountain ecards for years. 2 years ago I was charged for a Create & Print account, which I did not use. They told me they could not refund the money, but would cancel the account and I could use it until it expired. This year I got hit for another $20.00 and they refuse to refund it. Even though I have never used the Create & Print account, they will not make this right. I have cancelled all my accounts with them, and have paid for 2 years of service that I have not used.
Also, it took forever to finally get a real live person on the phone, and they would not help me and told me there was no one else at the company who would help me. They gave me an address to write to, but would not confirm that someone actually opened the letter and read it.
Poor, poor, poor customer service from a company that I have been satisfied with for many years. Too bad. Pass it along to be careful, because they will hit you with charges!
I signed up with BlueMountain years ago and for a while enjoyed
free cards sent to many friends. Then BlueMountain asked for a
modest fee, which I gladly paid but from then on it became more
and more difficult to send cards. In fact I can no longer seem to
send any. I choose a card and try to fill out everything but can not
seem to complete the deal. Nevertheless, in my last Visa bill,
BlueMountain charged me $15.99! I called the number listed
next to the charge but was informed that I must make my
complaint on line. That's what I'm doing. I want to cancel
my subscription and I want my money back! If I do not hear
from you I will try to cancel the charge with my credit company.
There is no way to contact Blue Mountain if you've paid for a subscription but you can't access the service even after repeatedly entering your email address and your ID. This is infuriating. The HELP section is no help at all. What are you supposed to do if you can't access the service. There is no phone number, no email address, NOTHING. This company is a big scam. They charge for service that isn 't delivered.
NOT RECOMMENDED. Non-Existent Customer Service. Costly Billing Errors.
A very unfortunate experience. I have been billed $4.99 every month from Blue Mountain, after cancelling my membership within the trial period, and several times thereafter. Blue Mountain maintains I have no membership, yet they continue billing me monthly. Their systems and customer service seem incapable of solving the most routine billing errors.
My experience has been that Blue Mountain Customer Service is non-existent on their phone line (note that it is not possible to speak to a representative) and valueless via their e-mail / website.
I strongly urge you to find another e-card provider before you find yourselves in an inconvenient billing dispute.
I'll start at this site first to update it to most recent experience for 2011. I have NEVER in my 8 years of online purchasing experienced such a horrific customer/member website. After choosing a cute Mothers Day card, I purchased it with my credit card agreeing to the trial time allotted. Then I found an error and went to get the phone number to talk to a customer service rep. The phone as well as the website brings you IN CIRCLES call this number and the number says go to our website and that is why I am leaving this as a warning. I had to get my bank involved and they got the run around. American Greetings the parent company is just as bad. I see on some complaints Blue Mountain online greeting cards is a sham. Take HEED of this an try to get a hold of them FIRST. You will leave this site vowing never to go back. From another complaint listing- This is the phone number to call [protected] at every prompt yell AGENT but I got the American Greetings headquarters number by a good soul posting it online via google ask to speak to a Blue Mountain rep. who had an extension there. Thankfully it was a good phone number because good Luck not getting the run around at the American Greetings webpage also.
I would love to have a professional relationship with Blue Mountain. Their cards are excellent. But they'll have to make their customer service easy to access before I go near them with my credit card again. Lesson learned THE HARD WAY.

Bank of America Mortgage FEIWELL & HANNOY Bank of America did not release our mortgage after birng paid thus an illegal suite Indianapolis, Indiana
A couple of years ago my wife and I were relocated to Fl. from Indianapolis for employment. We owned a home in Marion County we succesfully sold and closed on it on 01-06-2010. We just recently recieved notification of a law suite filed on [protected] for Foreclosure on the home we already sold. Apparently the mortgage company never released the mortgage after being paid, I have detailed documented proof the mortgage company recieved wired funds from the closing. We found this out when I had been turned down on several employment opportunities, with no explaination so I initiated a background check on the both us and found our credit had taken a terrible decline, due to mortgage payments not being paid for several months. I am having a difficult time in getting this resolved, I have sent emails followed by documentation to the mortgage company, all 3 credit bureaus, even an attny firm, to my dismay I have had no response with the exception of attorney's demanding payment to take the case on. I have been out of work for 30 months and we have exhausted our nest egg. and squeeking by, we don't have the funds to retain an attorney. I know you can't give legal advise, but there is a lot at stake here including the unknowingly poor people who bought our home and reside there. They could be affected as well. What do we do?
I do not believe i ever ordered the ecards, but there is no way to cancel the charges to my credit cartd! What do I do now?
