Belk belk fine jewelry repair #[protected]

I purchased on 11/23/2018 a diamond cluster ring, 14KW, white gold, item number [protected] from Belk at Lake Square Mall, 10401-2003 Hw. 441, Leesburg, FL 34788, Phone #: (352) 787-3412, store manager: Sarah Engel. The purchase price was 1603.93 with Florida tax. As the ring was a Christmas present to my spouse, my wife did not attempt to wear it until after Christmas, 12/25/2018. On 12/29/2018 we took the ring back to the Belk store that it was purchased from to have it sized. At that time I purchased an extended service plan for an additional $192.59 with Florida tax and placed a fine jewelry repair order #[protected]. It is now 1/23/2019 and we still have not received the ring back from the Belk Fine Jewelry Repair center. Again the order was placed on 12/29/2018 and it still has not been returned as of 1/23/2019. Further the Belk store does not know when the ring will be returned from the Belk Fine Jewelry Repair center. According to the Belk department store there in Leesburg, FL there are several customers with this situation. Belk workers are very rude in the cosmetic department

The workers are very rude and will not help you. Terrible customer service. Took my eldery mom in the cosmetics department to sample the perfume and they told us to come back tomorrow the lady that usually works in that department was not there and they could not go into her things and we could not get any samples. They are always having personal conversations and never greet customers as they walk in the store which is very rude.

Belk shift manager linda woodard nichols & security

I was shopping tonight at Belks in Decatur AL. I had a buggy because I had a ton of shopping bags. My ex boyfriends girlfriend is a shift manager there and when she saw me she has me followed thru the store. As I left the store walking out in the mall 2 girls came screaming at me said they were Belk security & I had stolen a shirt. I said NO I have not you can check my bags. The girl dumped all my bags & saw I had NOT taken anything from their store because i am NOT a thief. The girl said i saw you on camera with Polk a dotted shirt. I said why would I steal from your store when I jus dropped 500 at the store before n I have money no need to steal. I was so embarrassed. I told the girl I knew LINDA WOODARD NICHOLS had that done to me. The one girl apologized & told me to call Linda's manager the next day. The other girl just turned n walked away. There was a about 20 people watching them dump my things I was humiliated. I want something done about her and I will NOT stop until she is reprimanded! Keep watching me LINDA WOODARD NICHOLS!

Waycross, GA Belk Security man is definitely humiliating people and causing people to get arrested saying they stole from this store when indeed they didn't
This just happened to my stepdaughter yesterday as he said she stole a $14 ring. She was going to purchase the ring and was carrying it around as she shopped for other items and while in the children's dept she dropped the ring box which is small and it fell out and she couldn't find it so she said she didmt need it that bad, finished shopping, checked out and was leaving when the Security Officer approached her and accused her of stealing the ring. She explained she DID NOT STEAL THE RING IT FELL AND COULDN'T FIND IT. She only had her wallet and keys, no purse, and the bag of items she purchased. She then told the security officer well she would go back over there with him and see if she could find the ring, but she didn't steal anything and had no reason too, so she looked all under the clothes racks and finally found it by one of the wheels of the rack and got and gave it to him. He then told her, YOU JUST TOOK THAT OFF OF YOUR FINGER AND PUT IT THERE. SHE SAID NO I DIDN'T, I REACHED WITH MY RIGHT HAND AS I DONT HAVE ANY RING EXCEPT MY WEDDING RINGS ON MY LEFT HAND BECAUSE MY STUFF IS IN MY OTHER HAND. So he took her to the back where he called the police and had her arrested and they walked thru the entire mall with her handcuffed and humiliated, embarrassed, and falsely accused of stealing. Her father went and bailed her out on $6900 fine for $690 for a $14 ring he said she stole she didn't and has NEVER EVER BEEN IN TROUBLE. Well while her father and husband were waiting for her to be released from jail, a man came in wanting to take a warrant out or arrest someone else from Belks NOT Knowing who they were bragging he has had 23 people arrested this month alone so far from Belks. The Police Dept even said they have had ALOT OF ARREST LATELY FROM THERE! I WANT THIS INVESTIGATED AND THE MAN REPRIMANDED OR TERMINATED AS WE ARE ALREADY TRYING TO GET THESE CHARGES TOTALLY REMOVED AND HAVE CONTACTED HEADQUARTERS! DO NOT SHOP THERE OR YOU MAY BE THE NEXT VICTIM OF FALSIFYING THEFT WITH NO JUSTIFICATION! HOW CRUEL, OR MAYBE HE IS GETTING A KICKBACK FOR THE FALSE ACCUSATIONS RUINING PEOPLES LIVES!

Belk amazon echo

We watched a Belk commercial last night (12/15/2028) showing a Amazon Echo for 19.99. and Google was 29.99. Children's toys on sale as well. We made a trip all the way out today to purchase some Amazon Echoes (12/16/2018). The Google was priced what was advertised but the Amazon Echo was not. So know one could explain why so we just left. Not happy at all!

Belk belk credit card

When the employee introduced the BELK MasterCard to me- my question to her was"will I still be able to pay the one-third payment ". She agreed. I applied for one. Closing out my old BELK elite creditcard, like a responsible person, so there would be no fraudulent charges, EVER SINCE I OPENED THIS MASTERCARD I HAVE BEEN CHARGED INTEREST, the corporate office has been kind enough to take them off- BUT I ALSO FOUND that I can't pay the one third payment as I did before. Wanting to open my old card I have been told I can't bc it's closed. And that If I opened a new BELK credit card it would be a MasterCard... in other words facing out the original BELK credit card practices. I'm very disappointed in this. My 40 year patronage to the company will be facing out also unless I can re-open my original BELK elite credit card as I had before. That account # is: [protected]. This was not my intention to do. Belk employee care

Belk is the worst company to work for. Over worked, never get a raise you deserve I've been there over 2 years and I'm still making the same pay as when I started. They always cut hours but constantly hiring people, lack of communication and to top it off has no compassion for employees and there families. We suffered a major hurricane and all they cared about was when I can show up for work. This time they will not give me time off to see my grandmother for Christmas and she does have much longer to live but ofcorse they are blackout days thus nothing can be done. I'm so sick of people getting time off and I only ask once and I'm dined. If you have no family this job is for you because you won't be able to see them.

Belk customer service

I love Belk's so much that I became a seasonal employee in the Savannah Ga location. I went to the Brahmin Counter to purchase a handbag and the associate whose name is Ester was very rude to me. When I gave her my associate number to receive my discount and I inquired about an additional discount for using my Belks card she was condensing. She stated o you must be new, I don't have any additional discounts, I'm a manager and if you want me call another manager I will. She became loud enough to the point that I told her to calm down. After this seasonal job is over I will be just a regular customer again and I will never buy an expensive handbag as long as Esther is there! Belks need to do a better job of training there managers to be good customer service represenatives!

Belk customer service @ shoe department

What: Shoe Department

On this day there was a Sale going on between 6 am to 10 am. I was at the shoe department. I ordered a couple of shoes of my size from a lady and they did not fit well. So I had to look again for another set of shoes and another lady helped me get the shoes from the back. Everybody was busy and that's understandable. On my third strike, both women who helped me were both busy. I saw KEVIN, one of their shoe rep, I had a couple of shoe I wanted to try on. So I tried to get his attention. Kevin was very stern and cold. He looked pissed when I called on him. I asked him respectfully if he can get a couple of shoes at the back size 9. Then he said, " who was helping you?" I pointed to the women who were busy helping other buyers. Then he said, " You need to stay with whoever is helping you." In short, he refused to help me. I was dumb founded. He could see that both the women were busy with other customers. Is there such a policy at Belk's that you have to stick to whoever first helped the customer? Is it because of my race? I am Asian. He had no problem helping other customers. I felt unvalued, unappreciated and ignored as a customer. Because of this I left the shoe department no buying anything. I suggest that you re-train your customer service representatives. They need to provide attention and care for customers coz if they are NOT...they might as well QUIT and give another person that job who can provide that good customer service...just a suggestion. If Belks have another "KEVIN" at this store then Belks might be another SEARS in the near future, just saying. I love shopping at your store but if this is the KIND of service I get, I might as well shop at another store and close my Belks Card. Please let Mr. KEVIN know that customers are the reason why he has that JOB! Thank you for taking your time to read my complaint, I have never been treated like this.

Belk customer service/incorrect order (twice)

My wife ordered black boots on line for our granddaughter's birthday. We were sent black/cognac boots. I ordered the boots so that she could have them for her birthday which was on friday oct 19th. I received the wrong ones on thursday the 18th. I then called and spoke with someone who told me they would ship out another pair that was black. Unfortunately I received the same pair of boots again. I called for the 3rd time and was told they didn't have that color even though my order confirmation said they did. The supervisor I spoke with said her name was asha and that there was not anyone else I could speak with. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to return the boots and I would not get a refund until they received the boots. My problem is she didn't offer any type compensation for my troubles. Not to mention my granddaughter still has no boots. As much money as we've spent with belk it would have been good customer service to offer something. I guess they feel as though my business doesn't matter. Good customer service is everything and sometimes that means going beyond to make customers happy. Not a happy customer

Belk cosmetics

While I was shopping for cosmetics in the Cookeville Tennessee store, I was totally ignored at the Clinique counter! A group of associates or standing in a huddle and would not address that I was there! I proceeded to go to the Estée Lauder counter where there was no one there. I shopped throughout the store and as I was leaving I noticed the Estée Lauder associate behind the counter. This was the same associate that was in the huddle from my prior attempt in cosmetics. So I attempted to embark again at the Clinique counter which this time I noticed a tall blonde on her cell phone texting. I went around the counter three times and she did not acknowledge me at all! She could not take her eyes off her cell phone. While gazing from across the counter I noticed she was looking at pictures. Very unprofessional ! So I stood at the counter looking at products while the tall blonde proceeded to go to the Estée Lauder counter to gossip! Never once was I approached or acknowledged.

Belk lost credit

I recently lost my husband. I returned some items to Belk for a refund and received a credit on my card. Two months later instead of leaving the credit on my card they sent a refund check in my late husband's name. They are refusing to reissue the check in my name and/or reinstate the credit. The argument is that even though my name is on the account he was the primary. After talking to 3 different people, one a supervisor, the issue is unresolved. In the end I told them I would shred the check, to close the account, do not open a new account in my name, as I no longer wish to do business with them.

Belk service I am complaining about

Good Evening, I am writing to let you know of the service that I received today while in my local Belk store. I went in and picked up a few items and when I got to the register the clerk(Evelyn) was counting the drawer with another employee. I stood and waited several minutes before the other employee said it would a minute. Once they were finished the other employee rang me up once he was finished I indicated to him that I had a coupon and he scanned it and proceeded to say that it didn't work and I asked why since the coupon was dated until the 10th. The employee indicated that there were exclusions with the coupon and he proceeded to scan the coupon beside it which was for 10 off of 50.00. Please note I have read all fine print on both coupons and they both read the same thing. I questioned the employee regarding this issue if the other coupon didn't work why would that one. At which point he was rude and asked if I wanted the items or not. I shop here often for my children and if this is the service I will receive Id rather spend my money elsewhere. I have attached pictures of the coupons as well as my receipt.

Belk brahmin

I was at the Belk at the Savannah GA mall.. Oglethorpe Mall and I know this is a customer complaint site but I wanted to comment on the excellent customer service I received from the Brahmin Specialist (that's what her tag said) Esther. I went to purchase a Brahmin duxbury from her for my wife for our Anniversary and she was amazing. She took customer service to another level. My wife was there, yup what a surprise, and as we were debating on what to get she offered me and my wife a snack (peanut butter crackers) and went on talking about how she couldn't wait for her husband to come home from deployment and such. She was amazing and I wish we had more workers like her. I know from this site it is a complaint site, but I didn't know how else to compliment her excellence customer service she conveyed to us. I mentioned to her we need more people like her, she responded with "I love my job. If it wasn't for my customers I would not have a job! You're my number one priority!" Thanks Belk.

Belk csrs ignoring customers

I was in your store in Tuscaloosa today and was very disappointed. I have been a cardholder at Belk for over 15 years. The store is a mess, too much inventory, making it difficult to navigate or find anything. The most disappointing thing though was customer service, or lack thereof. While checking out the sales rep continued a conversation with two other reps. She was turned away from me during the whole transaction except to say, "You have to swipe your card, " and "thank you when she handed me my merchandise

Belk coupons

This passed Saturday, I took the ten dollar off coupon with me to the Belks store in Winchester. I purchased 60 plus dollars worth of clothes. When I gave the coupon to the salesperson; she said it did not apply because of the exclusions on the back in tiny print.
On the front the coupon said it applied to sales items.

I don't know why I thought this would be different as the same thing always happens on Tuesday Senior day. In other words, I have found that Belk's coupons are not worth the paper they are printed on.

You would be better off to not off coupons as yours just make me feel like I was cheated.

Belk leadership and favoritism

Please read and consider before you enter or spend any amount of money at another Belk's department store. (Especially in Myrtle Beach, SC).

I worked in Loss Prevention for this Company. I worked with a group of very solid and capable personnel from those in the Loss Prevention office to those who worked on the sales floor. Loss Prevention known as Security to some, is something I have done most of my life. It is a field I never saw myself walking away from. But that is what happen after working for Belk's Loss Prevention Department.

Here is what I can share with you. The EEOC office (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) has been investigating or completed investigations into the severe Discrimination claims brought against Belk. When your "leadership team" is hiring people in their 20's and 30's in off the street at a range of.75 cents up to 2.00 more than some are currently making after 5 years, 7 years, or 10 plus years of dedicated service because they are younger, I believe this to be wrong. When people of color are (in my opinion) targeted for the color of their skin and NO other reason, forcing them to leave the store and transfer to a different store, after a year of no complaints, no coaching's, and no write-ups in their file, I believe this to also be wrong.

They have one person who is based out of Greenville, SC Named Michelle Barton who in my personal opinion and with my right to freedom of speech has infected the division and area she covers as regional manager with hate and bias. Her quick desire to dismiss complaints or concerns of some under her but so willing to take on others show her bias. Belk's up until November of 2017 allowed their Loss Prevention personnel to use Necessary force, but now the rules have changed and people under her are getting suspended in 2018 for actions they did in 2016 when 1) she wasn't even over this area, and 2) the person (Paul) who knew about the action and either cleared Loss Prevention any wrong doing or failed to send it up the ladder by way of chain of command. So how is someone who did their job, followed the steps they were given punished by way of suspension, being left without an income to support themselves, or feed their kids, or have medical insurance? How is it that within 3 months of getting this area Michelle Barton (Allegedly) tells Loss Prevention Associate Tim (formerly of Belk's 516) "she is going to clean out the Loss Prevention office at store 244, and that office had 4 Loss Prevention personnel, a Manager who had been with the company more than 14 years, his second in command more that 12 years, the other full timer who was in their second stint with Belk with a combined time of over 10+ years, and the part timer who had been there only 10 months but had years of experience, and had a working relationship with others in the office from a past Loss Prevention job, 3 months and two are gone and the others are out for some BS reason with question marks over their heads for the past 5 months. Mean while there are other stunts they have pulled, but those will be brought to light by an lawyer who is currently suing the Company, on behalf of his client. Loss Prevention Personnel Tim who now works for Belk's in Columbia, was allowed to transfer after not only being involved in a work related issue that required the protection of Michelle Barton and possibly (Jo Bickford) Michelle Boss, little did they know their protection and transfer of this person only gave him the chance to go to anther Belk's department store and pursue other female employees as companions even though he was married at the time while working the combination of Belk's 516 and 244 he exchanged phone numbers with other Female sales associates which is a big NO-NO under Belk policy with Loss Prevention, or was he protected and sent to a store closer to Michelle Barton because she discover he found her to be attractive as they come? Cover-up? So let me make sure this is clear, one maybe even two people from Belk's 244 was suspended due to what is believed to be an investigation into the unnecessary force they have used in the past, while the person being hired, protected and even being sent to another store by way of transfer has a pending lawsuit with the city of Conway, South Carolina for his involvement in a domestic violence matter. While these charges were later dropped, this overall matter shows the possible inability for this person to remain calm in high stress matters, such as struggling with a shoplifter. Remember Belk's Loss Prevention Department can still use force but they have a very limited time frame (30 seconds) to do so if your loved one made that mistake, do you think it is wise to have someone on staff who was once involved in such a matter?

What about the ALLEGED comment the Crusader of Loss Prevention Michelle Barton made that she once kicked a non compliant shoplifter in face?

How does Belk's handle such an investigation? Well it starts by first allowing those higher positions who have been named in multiple complaints and wrong doings to run the investigation into themselves (I am sorry to report they found no wrong doing into themselves). They did however proceed to remove from the office the computer base, which contained videos, pictures, and other files that could show a pattern of cover ups by the higher up's. They also removed video that was saved to a disc, as well as several case files for future research, 5 months later they remain in research mode.

The best part of All is when they entered the store to set up hidden camera(s) and delete the video (or so they thought) of what they had been up to in the Loss Prevention office. This shows their ability to make video disappear (so if you ever fall in a Belk store, or something happens that looks bad to the company be very, very aware that they can remove and delete video they find damaging to the Company. And have done so.

Also should you by chance ever visit Myrtle Beach SC, and you go to the Belk's at Coastal Grand Mall, should you hear the fire alarm sound please SAVE YOURSELF A slow burning death and exit one of the doors, do not exit via the back hallway as that exit door is often blocked by pallets and merchandise, just another way Belk's shows a disregard towards their guest and employees, and deceives the fire Marshall

So, while it's possible these things happen everyday in other places, you have been told by someone who saw it happen while working at Belk's department store and someone who went through it while working at Belk's department store.

Ask yourself before entering, do I really want to shop at a place that" would gladly take my money for shopping there, but would not hire me at a fare wage like they have done for those at a younger age. Under 45 or so

Do I wish to spend money with a company where facts have been given that supports that there are people in leadership who see value white employees rather that ethics and Morals. This fact is given with my personal knowledge that this happened.

Should I spend money at Company who protects the higher ups, even when no wrong doing has been done by those under them. A company who would be enriched by your money, could possibly one day employ your elderly MOM or Dad or Wife, Son, or Daughter who if is a minority could suffer harsher consequence and/or disciplinary action base on the color of their skin?

Would it be wise to keep in business one that supports the actions like those mention above. You have the right to shop where you want, just my personal warning to what you are supporting when you shop at Belk's Department Stores.

Jo Bickford was finally demoted. She is now a regional operations manager. She didn’t last long as Director of Loss Prevention. Maybe her favoritism and lies caught up to her.

Belk customer service or lack thereof

On Sunday July 28, 2018 around 2 pm. Entered the Belk in kingsport Tenn to do school shopping. My daughter has 2 girls, ages 4 and 5 months ago old. While shopping the baby got hungry and was beginning to cry. She proceeded to ask a female sales associate, Do you have a place where I can feed my baby, the attendant looked at her as though she spoke a foreign language. She said well we have a restroom. A RESTROOM, come on. My whole family shop at Belk, until yesterday. I can't even begin to describe how upset I was. This is supposed to be a family store. It's all but a joke. I am just astounded, a dirty, nasty and germ ridden toilet. Would you eat on a public toilet? Why would you ask or direct anyone to breastfeed there baby on a TOILET

I will never in my life shop at bells again I am finally canceling my card after 20 years I went over to men's at bridge street and asked a young man about a shirt and a sports jacket for my husband the guy name was Kase or case he was entirely mean and rude and actually cursed at me under his breath and all I asked for was help I didn't buy anything nor will I ever

Belk shoe associate/ dept

Tried a flat shoe on. Under the heel had a security tag sticking up into bottom of shoe. You don't notice the tag. When I tried the shoe on the sharp point cut and penetrated my heel making it bleed. Took shoes to associate and told her it just cut my heel. Her reply "Oh I know " and walked away. I am sure you do not approve of her reply as I am not either.

Belk associate

On Thursday July the 19th my teen children and I were in our local Bell store in Hartwell Georgia. We were purchasing a dress and a pair of sandals for my daughter, as the cashier rang up our items we noticed that the sandals did nothing up advertised price, the employee handling our transaction was new therefore she went to seek advice from the assiocate in the footwear department. This very unprofessional I'll mannered employee proceeded to tell the new employee the original price of the sandals and that the sales price rang up correctly, I then decided to personally go over to the footwear department and address the issue myself, the assiocate was assisting another customer therefore I waited patiently for her to complete their transaction which included hugs and the latest town gossip before she even acknowledged me standing there she picked up the phone at her desk and proceeded to tell whomever she dialed that she had been approached about a price conflict and that me & my children should be watched because we were violating the law! Completely offended and embarrassed I introduced myself as the said criminal she had referred to and ask her to check her display where not only that style of sandal but another right beside it was clearly marked on the display for $17.99 she quickly snapped at me and walked over viewed the display before she had an opportunity to offend me again an off the clock employee intervened she saw the display and apologized, she even took the liberty to go over to the counter where we were making our purchase and correct it, while doing so the employee in the footwear department even called her at the desk and suggested we had swapped tags! The off deputy employee apologized several times and recovered our experience beyond the call of duty, I assured her that security cameras could be checked to verify that no such illegal activity ever took place. We are Bell card holders and never in my entire lifetime had I been treated with such disrespect and honestly doubt we will ever shop in that location, if employees are allowed to discriminate to that extreme there honestly should not be any reason for quality control.
