I made an online purchase with Bath and Body for my team's Christmas gifts. I was disappointed with a few of the scents and didn't want to give the items anymore. Additionally one of the candles was damaged during shipping. I waited until after Christmas to return due to the holiday crowds. The manager Gabby was rude about having to give me cash back and out of her drawer. She left Jess and Sheila to deal with me. Jess didn't know how to issue the return since I paid less for one item and more for another. However I had my receipts. She made the
Comment that a manager/Gabby should handle this return. Sheila was extremely nice and took over the transaction so Jess could help other customers. She acted more like a manager than Gabby. Needless to say I was not a happy customer even though I returned my items I was made to feel like I was ripping off the store cause they had to give me cash back. Definitely wasn't taking a gift card for a $115 after she was rude. Gabby needs some soft skill training or maybe to be a shipment coordinator that stays in the back room away from the public. She's a great example of why people shop online. Not to mention it allows me other choices besides bath and body. I truly hope someone does something with this complaint. Kuddos to Sheila who never lost her cool and remained friendly and helpful to a grouchy customer. My apologizes to her. She had the shadow of a true leader unlike Gabby who just had a title and one that isn't deserved.
