Poor service
I purchased brakes for my car. They sent the wrong ones. When I complained, it took almost a week to get back to me. Then they refused to send out new ones until the old ones had been returned, despite having my credit card information to collateralize the brake pads. Don't buy from them! It is not worth it!

Delay on parts
I have now been waiting nearly a month for EBC brake pads from AutoAnything. This pathetic company should be named AutoNothing! I was lied to about shipping dates and honestly question if I will ever receive the parts. I have attached an email about a delay in shipment. I was told two days prior to this email that the parts had already shipped. I will NEVER buy anything from this terrible company again. Consider this your warning. Do not order anything from them unless you want your project to sit on hold.
I ordered twwo weeks ago a pair of seat covers: order #[protected]-AK/HI for my dodge dakota 2011.I am willing to pay the shipping ($15.80).
I am also wish to order a Pop & lock tailgate lock part # PL3600. Of coarse I will pay the shipping for this too.
Please consider my order as soon as possible.
thanks

Difficulty obtaining credit for wrong items sent
This company claims to be the lowest price for car brakes, then when you order, they use a company...Centric Parts Industry in La Puente, CA. When the brakes arrive they are for the back, even though I ordered the front brakes. I had my car up on jacks with the wheels and calipers off, when I discovered that they had sent the wrong ones. I ended up buying...
Read full review of AutoAnything and 5 commentsLow price guarantee
AutoAnything advertises a "Low Price Guarantee" along with free shipping. What the customer finds upon closer reading of the fine print is that the price match is for "delivered price". That is, if AutoAnything has an item costing $118 with free shipping, and another storefront has the same item for a lower price, $100, and shipping is additional, $18, the competitor's price including shipping is what they use for comparison. In this (actual) example, the match is exactly the same. (If all the stores did this, the playing field would be level and we consumers would know what to expect from the retailer.)
I personally would rather deal with a seller which gives me what I want to know right up front: item cost, shipping (including handling), and tax where required, rather than with one which obscures reality with marketing statements...where the customer must dig out the facts rather than have them stated up front.
I call AutoAnything's marketing practice deceptive in that the use of "price" is not the same as that used in other (and competitor's) stores. I do not choose to do business with an entity which seeks to deceive me.
Your "complaint' is really a compliment for AutoAnything in disguise. It sounds like you have a problem with advertising and profit in general.
To quote your complaint: "I personally would rather deal with a seller which gives me what I want to know right up front: item cost, shipping (including handling), and tax where required"
It's funny because that is exactly what AutoAnything does... they tell you the item cost up front, shipping and handling is free, and tax is calculated in the shopping cart. That is as up front as it gets when you're shopping online.
And their one-year post purchase price guarantee is solid. Yes, it's based on the delivered price, but they ship everything for free, other companies don't and they pass the cost on to the consumer. You have to compare Apples to Apples.
I've ordered from AutoAnything numerous times and it's always been a good experience.
Your complaint is a bit confusing to me. It would seem to me that the company you are comparing them to is being more deceptive by hiding their shipping charges and baiting you with some "low" sales price. AutoAnything seems to be putting the whole price out there for you to see (shipping included). It would be silly for them to price match every advertised price without shipping because so many other companies try to hide additional fees in their shipping and "handling" fees (another term for "We're charging you $10 for the box"). Someone could advertise $50 for that item, then charge you an additional $68 in shipping and handling. Who is being more deceptive? AutoAnything and their totally upfront pricing, or someone who is hiding fees in the shipping that you don't see until you've gone all the way through checkout?
Sent wrong parts
I ordered Hawk brake pads for my car from the AutoAnything web site. Using their web form, you simply provide the make, model and year of your car and they are supposed to ship out the correct parts. They sent the wrong parts, which I didn't discover until more than 30 days after I received them, as I didn't need to install them right away. Once I found out their mistake, I attempted to return the pads for the correct ones. They wouldn't budge from their 30 day return policy, even tho they were the ones that made the mistake. They basically just quoted from their rule book and would not listen to reason. I will not be using them again.

Complete lie
Anything Automotive lies, mis-informs, and skips titles.
First, they told me that the Transmission was out on my Cavalier among numerous other things and that it would cost a few thousand dollars to fix. This was a complete lie!
Since, I could not afford to fix the Cavalier they told my father that they wanted to help me out since I was a single mom and needed a dependable car. So, they offered to take my Cavalier and $1, 600.00 for a Ford Windstar that a family member had previously. It had a new Transmission in it, new brakes, etc. WRONG!
When we transferred the title we found out that they never put the title in their name, so we had to pay for the late fees. It is illegal to skip titles.
I only had the Windstar a few months when the Transmission went out and there was a problem with the brakes. It took them 3 weeks to 'fix' the van. So, I was stuck without a vehicle for 3 weeks in the middle of winter. I had to pay for the brakes and the transmission.
When I got the vehicle back the Check Engine light was on and the alignment was way off. And within a few weeks the transmission started slipping again. I took the van back since the transmission had a 30 day warranty. However, they would not honor the warranty and fix the problem correctly.
Now, the transmission went out completely and I'm stuck without a vehicle and no way to fix this piece of crap or buy a new vehicle.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You have the wrong company listed. www.autoanything.com does not sell transmissions.
Awful service
I purchased a set of 4 WeatherTech in-channel window visors for my 2009 GMC Acadia in January 2009. The front set snapped into the window channel without adhesive and work fine. The rear set includes a thin layer of adhesive film on the flange designed to fit into the channel and adhere to the widow weather stripping. Unfortunately, the visor flange is rigid and does not allow the adhesive to remain adhered to the rubber stripping.
A few weeks after installation, I contacted the AutoAnything.com (on-line retailer) to inform them that the rear visor wouldn't adhere well and was causing my window to leak. They contacted the manufacturer who then sent out a replacement set. I installed the new set, only to have both fail a few weeks later. They both fell off of the truck because of the poor design -- the adhesive strip is not enough to hold them in place. (I have installed window visors on no less than six vehicles in the past and have never had a problem. This problem is not due to installation error, but from a poor design.) After the second set failed, I contacted AutoAnything and asked for either a refund or a set of visors made by a different manufacturer since the WeatherTech product was a faulty product. After multiple e-mails and phone calls, Autoanything replied stating that the manufacturer will not replace the product since they replaced it once and then offered to sell me a replacement at a reduced price. I replied that this was unacceptable and that I should not have to purchase a replacement for a product that has failed twice within a couple of months. I asked for a manger to contact me to discuss the issue or that I would file a formal complaint. That was a week ago. AutoAnything has refused to reply.
Bottom line is that I paid a premium price for a product that does not work and the company will not stand behind the product. AutoAnything will not refund or replace the faulty product, which fails within two months . AutoAnything states that their return policy is 30 days. This is not a return for dislike of the product (I actually like the styling.), but a return due to product failure (twice). Autoanything is not an honorable company if they hide behind a 30 day return policy instead of standing behind the products they sell. They are ripping off customers instead of honorably serving them.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Try carid.com, they do have purchase protection plan, and offer replacement and warranties.
I also had a problem with autoanything. THEY WILL NOT BACK THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL! I ordered a grill guard for my dodge pickup. Then less then one hour after i ordered it from autoanything i find same grill for less money. So i called Autoanything and told them.I was told they could not beat that price so I told them to cancel the push guard and they said no problem they would credit my card, now remember I called them less than an hour ago and ordered it, the order should have been easy to cancel. I believe the problem was they just did not cancel the order that is plan lazy. Any way two days later a charge of almost 500 dollars was on my card. So I called and long story short they wanted 15% restock fee even though I felt they were told to cancel the order in time. . Anyway I
have no problem with the restock fee and i mean no problem with the restock fee. Then they told me it would be $280 to ship back and the15% restock fee. All that together it was almost the full price of the guard. So i told them I will just keep it and will never order from them again and they did not care.SO JUST BUY STRIGHT FROM THE MANUFACTURE THEY HANDLE PROBLEMS WITH MORE CONCERN.
Never fall for this business!
I'm saying this after i have experienced of the business scam called "auto anything". I ordered truck fenders on this store because they seem to be popular and trustworthy. The entire ordering process was satisfactory. I thought everything was doing well so they didn't bother to contact me to track the order, but when the fenders did not arrive on the promised date (they said i could receive my fenders after 3 days), i called them up. I was really annoyed by the customer service when i told her that i was "just following up" my order and she had the guts to say that i was being impatient! talk about bad customer service!
Btw, the fenders arrived after a month. From what i heard from my peers, that was the best time that they can do. How i wish i asked for their comment on auto anything before i made my purchase.
I have also had many problems with this subpar company customer service. They are horrible. One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with and don't know what they are talking about and don't stand by their products or know how to service them.
I havve ordered for Skyjacker N8012 shocks for my vehicle; but Autoanything have delivered all shocks wrongly (N8081) which can not be fit with my jeep.
I ordered 2 side view replacement mirrors for my 06' Silverado. the woman who helped me find and order what I thought were the correct parts was VERY helpful (and why not? she wanted to close the deal). parts came in a timely fashion but it would be a while before i could have them installed so i kept them safe, clean, in the box they were shipped to me in and in my garage. Took my truck to the dealer for routine tune up, oil, etc etc and they were more than happy to install new mirrors. Turns out AUTO ANYTHING (unintentionally I'm sure) sent me a model that included defrosters behind the mirrors glass, my truck originally came without this feature. The extra wiring for the defrost feature made the wiring HARNESS' incompatible. NOW, I call them, explain my situation and am told there are no refunds/ returns after 30 days but they will still send a letter asking to accept this request. I'm not 100% sure about this rule/ law being completely legal according to California consumers rights AND as they are still new and in original boxes. On top of that I'm told there will be an $11.00 fee to send me a return FedEx label (I work with FedEx every day. This label could very easily be faxed or Emailed to me for NADA.) AND there is a good chance there will be a 12 to 25, now she started to say "dollar" but caught herself, back pedaled and spat out "percent" restocking fee... I don't understand why I have to pay for their more fault/ mistake than mine error. I think a call to the BBB may be in order here. Your thoughts(?) and, thank you for your time.
Called to place a order for a Cargo Matt. I asked the sales person if the full length mat could be rolled up if I needed to fold my seats up and he told me no because the mat is rigged and it may crack. So I ordered a smaller mat for my 2012 Chevy Traverse. Keep in mind that full mat is $25.00 extra. When I received my mat it was rolled up in a long box and very pliable. apparently the sales person didn't know what he was talking about because I roll it up all the time. He lost money for the company and a customer. of course I could send it back but I live in hawaii and I will have to pay shipping so I ended up keeping it.
I ordered front Leatherette seat covers for a 2012 lexus Rx350, When I installed them they were wrinkled and did not fit properly and looked terrible. I called Rosita in customer service on 1-3-14 and she told me to take pictures of the covers and Order # and send to her. I did all this and she stated it would take about 2 days for her warehouse to respond to her and she would get back to me. I didn't hear anything for about a week so I emailed her back and she said she was waiting on the warehouse to respond but she would let me know. I called and talked to Matt on the 15th of Jan. and he said according to the emails back & forth between us that he knew Rosita was working on it but she was out that day. Now, 5 days later I still haven't heard from Rosita. I think for $259.00 there should be better response from this company. I previously had ordered the Husky floor mats for the entire car and they fit perfectly. I would advise anyone considering a purchase from Auto Anything to look elsewhere. AutoAnything messed up my order too. And when the sent me (2) front rotors for the Left side of my truck, I notified them on chat. The chat operator says "it has been more than 30 days, but we can make it right anyway". But the company REFUSED to give me a return authorization, even though I proved the shipping invoice did not show what was shipped. (The shipping invoice showed part numbers for a right and a left rotor). But the parts were both directional, for the left side. And then the order clerk said she would have her supervisor call me in 24 hours, so I could ask them to correct the order. NEVER HAPPENED. I had to eat the extra left rotor. Amazon Prime shipped me the correct rotor in just 2 days so I could finish the jop properly. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM AUTOANYTHING. They do NOT correct their mistakes, and their customer service is terrible. I should have done research online first, and I would have seen their dismal track record.
I ordered a DiabloSport inTune I-1000 programmer for my 2001 F-150 Lariat, based on the fact that the AutoAnything website said it was compatible.
I decided to do some more research, and determined that the product was in fact *not* compatible based on information on every other website I could find including the manufacturer's site (including multiple forum discussions about it), and the AutoAnything site was the only site that said it was.
I attempted to cancel the order so I could replace it with a Hypertech programmer but it was right at the time it was being shipped and it was too late.
They said they would give me a credit as soon as the return package was in transit. They did do that, but they charged $19.95 for a restocking fee, even though the email I got said that they would credit the amount of the product minus shipping fees (which was none).
I asked about that and they said a restocking fee of 15% applies (which would have been $51 actually).
They also did not thank me or mention anything about the fact that I pointed out that the DiabloSport does not work on my vehicle and that they should remove it from their site so that other customers do not order something incompatible.
So, I'm out $20 plus a 40 mile round-trip to drop off the return plus a week and a half of waiting.
I would not order anything from this company again. I can't stand companies like this. Read all the other 1-star reviews then pick someone else to order from. They can't be relied upon to get things right.
Parts for a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta were ordered. Parts for a [protected] VW Golf arrived. Shipped back the parts, emailed them the tracking#-no response or refund whatsoever. Customer Service appears to be automated. Lindi Schirmer, Customer Service Specialist, AutoAnything always answers queries with the same canned letter.
Steer clear of this auto parts supplier drivers!

A friend of mine orders from www.originalsell.com and now everyone on his contact email list is receiving spam from autoanything@email.autoanything.com with no "opt out" process on the email. I'm tired of getting spam emails from them.
This business is a joke. They sent me the wrong floor mats. I checked my order, as did they when I called, and everyone agreed I ordered the correct ones. In spite of this, the passenger mat does not fit, as it is actually for a different trim level. Because I trusted them to have sent me the correct mat set, I threw away the boxes. They acknowledge they sent the wrong product but basically told me to pack sand as I had no box and I had "used" the mats. I will NEVER buy here again and I would not tell an enemy to either. Avoid this place like the plague.
Delayed delivery! Made me wait for a month!
I had some research on this company before i purchased my order. Their website is shows the right info, so i ordered on them Toyota mufflers for my rav4. The ordering process was fine, but i was quite alarmed when they did not even call me to check on my order. So i called on them and the rep just said that they do not have any available mufflers for RAV4 yet. I was sooo frustrated to hear that because they said it was available in the site. So i had to wait for ONE FREAKING' MONTH for my parts! Ill never, ever purchase any parts from them again!
i really love the backorder story. were trying there best. hahahhaa
i also ordered an intake from them. it took them 2 months to deliver. i highly suggest noone buy from them ever.
This is one the best Internet companies I have ever dealt with. Best prices, Great service, Quality products, and Friendly customer service. I would highly recommend them to everyone.
Too much dust
I have purchased an EBC green stuff brake pads last month from AutoAnything. I've seen that they have the lowest price compared to other local stores and online shopping companies but they have the same brand and product so I decided to get my part to them. I got my part that easy from the ordering to the delivery but when I got it, it's not the same one as advertised, neither do I know if they are giving the same one to other customers.
I have it stucked on my car and after a few weeks of using it, I found out that it's getting much dust not like the one I bought from a local store here. It's better that I got one on the same store I guess. I won't try other products from them. I'm not happy.
I have been trying to return an item and the email address will not work ./so Iwent to help expert and was told to grt out my credit card and pay!
I purchased an overhead console from them only to not have it shipped and then they wont refund the money sent.
BAD COMPANY do not do business with them.
