[Resolved] Alamo Rent A Car / roadside assistance

We paid a significant amount extra per day on our rental agreement for roadside assistance, after the agent assured us it would take the stress out of any problems that might occur. Today we got a low tyre pressure, and found there is a nail in one tyre. So we called the roadside assistance THREE TIMES, and after nearly an hour of 'all of our operatives are currently dealing with other customers' AT INTERNATIONAL CELL PHONE RATE!!! we were forced to give up. It's going to cost us a fortune in phone charges, and worse we have had absolutely no joy in solving our car problem. Appalling customer care.

    Customer care service did everything in their power to resolve this complaint. All attempts to contact the complainant have failed. Therefore, this complaint has been annulled and must not be considered where image of the company in question and it's services are concerned.
