1-800-Flowers.com valentines day flowers never delivered!

On February 13th, I ordered a 149.99 bouquet of flowers for my wife to be delivered next day on Valentines Day, because I am out of town on business and we couldn't celebrate the day together. She waited all day until 6pm, when she had to finally leave to attend a dinner appointment.

They conveniently would not answer their customer services phones with some lame disclaimer that due to the high volume of calls, their customer service reps could not answer the phones and to please visit the website where you could track your order online. I was unable to track my order because there was no tracking number, as promised. I have been reading other complaints online and wish there was a way to shut this obviously BAD BUSINESS company down.

As of noontime, today, (EST), 800-FLOWERS.com had made NO EFFORT to contact me or to have the flowers delivered. The real thing that chaps my hide is all the rigamarole I'm now going to have to go through in order to get a refund! What a disappointment and what a drain on my wallet! I would highly recommend finding another floral service!

I ordered flowers to be delivered same day to a friend who had just returned home from the hospital. They were never delivered and by the end of the business day, the florist called them (which was supposed to be a surprise) and not me to say they would be delivered the very next morning.

The next morning came and no flowers. I spoke with 2 different Customer Service reps who were very rude to tell me that the delievery would be made between 2-4pm. I enforced that if there is an issue to call me. By 5:00 PM, no flowers were yet to be delievered and I did NOT receive a call. I called and spoke with yet another rude customer service rep. who basically said to me "what do you want me to do" so I demanded to speak to a supervisor. She explained to me that the florist said they were delivered which was totally false. I basically had to demand my money back and the supervisor put me on hold to call the recipient to confirm if the flowers were delieverd. Once she confirmed she did not recieve flowers, my order was cancelled when I checked the order summary online. My money has not been credited back to my check card and it has been a few days. I will keep checking but this was a very unprofessional and tacky experience dealing with them altogether. Another friend warned me previously about their lousy business ethic.

1-800-Flowers.com failed valentines day delivery!

1-800 Flowers failed to deliver flowers to my daughter of Valentines Day, and then proceeded to charge my credit cad and assume I wouldn't notice. After spending hundreds of dollars with them on a single order, they just didn't show up. No call, no email, nothing.

Their phone lines simply stated that due to the high number of calls, their operators would not be answering calls so if customers could not complete their call with the automated system, they should go to their website. i went to the website and my order tracker simply said, "order placed."

Here I am at midnight on Valentines Day and my daughter is disappointed b/c the flowers I promised her were never delivered. I placed the order days ago. Meanwhile I still paid for them and cannot reach anyone at the company.

How classy.

Their service is horrible I don't know how they stay in business I should have stuck to Pro-flowers. I never had any issues with them. This is 2nd time they fail to come through for us. The last time I placed an order for a sick friend and they sent her wilted flowers. I was mortified. They said they couldn't do anything and blamed the local florist. This time my daughter unknowingly ordered flowers from them on behalf of someone who is disabled and they were never delivered. She even tried to cancel a week ahead and they said THEY COULD NOT DO THAT. Here we are 2/17/2014 still no Valentines flowers oh but they sure charged her credit card. Still no news on the flowers or the refund. This is criminal. At some point outfits like this should be charged with fraud for billing for nothing. Sounds like theft to me or at least Fraud.

I received flowers from my husband, through 1800 Flowers on Valentine's Day. When we opened the box, the flowers were smashed, wilted, brown, cut and broken. They were a disgrace. My husband spent $75 and after contacting the company, was told that they were issuing a $20 voucher to use on our next order. (Like we'd want to order from them again) They would not give a refund and told him they would resend the flowers. When I came to work the next day, the vase the ugly flowers were in was sitting in a puddle. It leaks!
I did get the flowers again and I admit that they are very beautiful, but the disappointment of the first order still lingers. What ever happened to money back guarantee?

I just had a completely disappointing interaction with 1800flowers.com. I ordered flowers for my mother, who is recovering from surgery. They were to be delivered on Friday, 6/26/09. I called her that evening and found out the flowers did not arrive. I contacted 1800flowers, and was told by an agent - who sounded bored and uninterested in my issue - that she would put in a "redelivery request" with the florist for the next day, Saturday, 6/27/09. Again, no flowers. This time, an agent called me to tell me the flowers didn't get delivered. She actually called my mom and apologized to her for the problems, and promised delivery today, Monday, 6/29/09. Mom waited all day for a delivery that never came. I called Customer Service, and was promised a refund ... in three to five business days! At this point, they have had the $85 I paid for the flowers for 5 days, and will hang on to it for another 3-5 before the charges are reversed. I will never use this service again.

Same here. Ordered flowers on 2/12 to be delivered to my daughter on Valentines Day. Nothing received, and no call or e-mail informing me of a problem. They charged my credit card, which I cancelled through the credit card company. Difficult to reach them on the phone, but when I did, they did not take responsibility and blamed it on a "vendor". In the future, I will call a local Florist directly.

Completely agree. This happened to me. I'm literally sitting on their hold message now. Clearly, they are not going to pick up. Absolutely criminal. I also just typed in "1800 flower complaints" on the internet. Endless complaints pop up. I can't believe they are allowed to conduct business like this.

1-800-Flowers.com false advertising!

I was sent an advertisement from 1800flowers.com, to order flowers, it showed a price and description of the flowers to be sent. When my wife received the flowers it was nothing like what was advertised, I was totally embarrassed by what they sent to my wife. Instead of a plant with a bunch of flowers in the pot, she received one flower, and there were two sticks along side the single flower. (The sticks looked like chop sticks). I called their customer service, and was told, that eventually the plant when full grown would look like the advertisement. This company should not be allowed to be in business, they are nothing but scammers. I would like to sent you pictures of what they advertised and what was sent to my wife. I will never buy from this company again. I intend to notify the BBB in my area.

I would like to know what 1800Flowers.com means by 100% satisfaction, guaranteed? For the record, my satisfaction with this company is minus 100%.

I wish I could attached pictures! I ordered and paid for 1800Flowers Item #16941 Sentimental Surprise and the pitiful arrangement of flowers that was delivered isn't even somewhat close to what is advertised by 1800Flowers. You tell me --- is the SURPRISE for the customer, when we realize that we ordered isn't what was delivered has to consider whether or not to pursue a correction or just let it go? Or is it the SURPRISE for the receipient (and not the person who placed the order and paid for the order) when the receipient receives a call from 1800Flowers asking why they aren't satisfied with the flowers? So that both the custumer and the recipient are both embarrassed, put on the spot, and humiliated? 1800Flowers falsely advertises and misrepresents their merchandise. I want my account reimbursed. Does anyone know how I would go about getting my money back?

I've used 1800flowers twice.. the first time it was great, the plant I sent was as advertised. The second time, it was DINKY.. not as pictured. Have heard other complaints from friends that have used 1800flowers, that a multicolor tulip boquet only ended up having one color flowers. I would go to the local florist instead and get something from them. Or else find a florist online that is in the area that the person lives and talk to them and order a product from them. I have done that for friends in Illinois and had great experiences with local florists providing a superior product to these online florists.

1-800-Flowers.com the worst flowers!

For my birthday my boyfriend spent $85 dollars at 1800Flowers.com and they looked like a blind 2 year old put the arrangement together in a butt ugly dollar store vase. There was no creative effort. They died within 2 days. Therefore I tend to believe they were not fresh. For $85 dollars go to your nearest grocery store pick out a beautiful vase, fresh flowers and you'll have a beautiful gift and money left over to go out to dinner. I complained to them they claimed that they had never received a complaint before and offered only 20% off my NEXT purchase. Do they think we are fools and purchase from them again? Instead I plan to spread the word how much of a rip off they are because I feel that they no effort to make this right. Since then I heard of other complaints. BEWARE DO NOT USE 1800FLOWERS.COM!

I Agree. I just ordered flowers for my mothers 59th birthday, and what came was horible. it looked like weeds in a cup. I want everyone to know how bad this service is. I live in Manhattan. Trust me there are real florists with taste here and it is not hard to find a normal florist to make the arrangment.
They refused to give me a refund on the flowers. Even though i ordered balloons also. They wanted to give me $19 off when i spent $70. Yea ok. You ruin my mothers birthday and now are trying to be cheap. Are you kidding?

1-800-Flowers.com 1800flowers lied to me!

On may 8th 2007, I ordered flowers for my mother from 1800flowers. They were supposed to be delivered the next day (May 9th, 2007) , well in time for mother's day which was may 13, 2007. On may 16th, I got as call from my mom. She never received the flowers!

I contacted 1800flowers that night. After arguing with them for several minutes, a supervisor finally cam on and promised to deliver the flowers and give a full refund.

I never received notification of the delivery, and I never saw my bank account credited anything. I called my mother to find out that they finally were delivered on saturday (Ten days late, and six days past mothers day).

I called 1800flowers today (May 22nd) to find out what happened to my refund, as was told that they never refund the whole amount if the flowers are eventually delivered. They claimed that they had nothing in the notes about it.

I demanded to speak to a supervisor, and when I told him that I would tell everyone I know how I was treated, I was told to do whatever I had to do.

So, I am here to tell people not to do business with this company. They lied to me. They ruined my mother's mothers day. They are not to be trusted, and I am telling everyone not to do business with them, unless they find such treatment acceptable.

I ordered flowers and chocolate strawberries for my mother in law's birthday, about 132 dollars for both.

Somehow and I assume it's accidental they pulled the money twice from my account, I called as soon as i saw that and told them that was unacceptable and after some back and forth I was assured the would credit my account, send me an email confirming the details and give a twenty dollar gift card as well. That was thursday last, now it's sunday night there has been no email and no bank credit nor any gift coupon.

I realize it's only been a few days but seriously how long does it take to send an email?

Luckily enough the strawberries were delivered only one day late and the flowers arrived the day after that so at least mother in law has something there in the nursing home.

I just had an ordeal with 1-800-Flowers and will NEVER use them again. I accidentally made a one letter error on the address and immediately emailed the company to "change my order" and change the letter of the road as a correction. I followed up the next day with a phone call, to no avail. I was told that they couldn't do anything because the flower order was confirmed. I contacted USA Bouquet in Chicago (the supplier) and was told that they just download the labels and couldn't make any changes. I called back to 800-flowers customer service and spoke to a supervisor. My flowers are not coming and I can't get a refund! That was $85 down the tubes! 100% satisfaction guaranteed - FALSE ADVERTISING!

I order three sets of flowers for my wife, mother and mother in law for Valentine's day. I paid $20 extra each for special delivery. My mother got dead flowers, my mother in law got a bouquet vaguely resembling the photo and description on the website and my wife got NOTHING. I called the local florist at noon on Valentine's Day to check on the status of my wife's flowers. I was promised that they would deliver by 1 pm. My wife saw numerous deliveries to her office from this florist, but not hers. I called the florist to redirect them to my house at 3 pm as my wife had left her school for the day. Daniel at the local florist(Watermill florist in Fort Lauderdale) told me to call 1800flowers for a refund. 1800flowers was busy for the remainder of the night. I spoke to "Rachel" in India on 2/15. She was very sympathetic until I asked for a refund. Then, she faked a bad connection and severed the call.
Please tell all of your friends not to use 1800flowers ever again. They are scam artists of unbelievable proportions.

1-800-Flowers.com always call a local florist!

Never, never order on a generic floral delivery website like 1-800-flowers or e-flowers etc... If you want to order flowers online, look at their "about us" section and find a local address and phone number and make SURE they have an actual flower shop with real designers working. They will be honest about their charges (you pay for the flowers and delivery only) and you will know exactly what you are getting. 1-800 Flowers skims money off the total not to mention charges you a 12.99 service charge just for the privilege of ordering from them. PS they won't give you your money back either!

Heads up is all I can say! I simply wanted to order both my Mother and Mother in law flowers for their special day and I felt like I needed to order MYSELF sympathy flowers after the experience I went through! (of course from another florist)!
I first went online to order and selected the flowers that I wanted to send and as it turned out I had selected the same flowers for both Mothers. Easy right? WRONG! So I get to check out and I was pleasantly surprised that the flowers that I had selected were on sale for even less and even though I had selected the flowers only, the new reduced price included the clear vase! So when it came to add in the address for the recipent, I realized that it wasn't giving me a second address option for the other delivery and so it appeared that both arrangements would be delivered to one Mom and not the other. So I backed out and went back in to set them up one at a time and now the sale price was no longer an option. I even tried to reenter the order like the original way that I had when the sale price came up and still no price reduction! So I called customer service only to find that the service rep spoke little to no english, at least none I could barely understand but I still explained what had happened (a couple of times) then he said that there had been a mistake and that the flowers that I had selected were not on sale and that somehow their system had made a mistake the first time. Okay fine, it was hard enough to tell my story and to understand his responses so I let it go, however he said he would give me 10% off both orders for my inconvenience and I was a little bit appeased by that. He asked me for my phone number and the order code for the flowers and asked me if he could put me on hold for a moment. I agreed. After at least 5 minutes on hold, the phone was disconnected! I waited for a few minutes as he had my name and number but no call came through. So once again I called them back and spoke to another rep, although she was a little easier to understand, it was a long drawn out nightmare that lasted 32mins to order two flower arrangements! I would have to say I wasn't sure that SHE understood english as things were repeated over and over again at least 5 times. Although my order went through (supposedly, I mean nothing has been delivered at this point) I was never so frustrated in my life over what should of been an easy order. Oh did I mention that I did NOT receive the 10% discount off my whole order for my trouble that was offered by the first rep, oh no, I only got 10% off my SECOND order and only after I threatened to cancel the whole thing! The bottom line...NEVER AGAIN! In the future I will definitely cross 1800flowers off my list of people I want to do business with. I will definitely pay whatever our local florists are charging in the future as you can't put a price on good customer service and clear english speaking employees that don't have to read off a cue card.
All I can do now is HOPE that my Mothers get what I have ordered and on time!

1-800-Flowers.com no flowers = worst mother's day ever!

I placed an order for a flowering plant on 5/01/07, to be delivered the Friday before Mother's Day, 05/11/07. Given the fact that I ordered so early I figured that delivery of my Mother's Day gift was guaranteed. When I called my mother on Mother's Day, 05/13/07, I was told that she never received a delivery. She was understanding, but I could tell that she was disappointed that she did not receive anything for her special day. I ran the tracking number, provided by 1-800-FLOWERS.com, and I found out that the package would not be delivered until Monday the 14th. The item showed to have been shipped on 5/09/07. This means that the plant would already be a minimum of 6 days old before my mother would even receive it. Well my mother did receive her plant on the 14th, but she stated that several of the leaves were dead and dried up, and that the entire plant was very dry and on its deathbed. I have sent an e-mail to 1-800-FLOWERS.com, to ask about a replacement or a refund of some sort, but I have not heard back from them. I suppose my only recourse will be to try and get my bank to reverse the charges on my credit card. I understand that Mother's Day is a very busy time for a company like 1-800-FLOWERS.com, but given the fact that I ordered a full two weeks in advance I feel that there is no excuse for this poor level of service. I paid a premium for 2nd day air shipping, and yet my package took 5 days to get to its destination. I guess next year I will have to do more research in order to find a more reliable company to do business with. In the meantime, my mother has a half-dead plant in her house, as a symbol of what a poor choice her son made when shopping for that perfect gift to show his love and admiration for his mother. For those that like to spend a lot of money for a gift that is a day late and a dollar short, look not further than 1-800-FLOWERS.com! =o(

Couldn't agree more with all I've read here about 800 flowers. You order early, get confirmation and tracking information that things are happening and by the end of the day after the close of business you realize it's been nothing but lies and really nothing short of a scam. Then they refund your money. If they were truly interested in servicing their customers, they would provide a 2 or 3 times back your money guarantee. I guess that would be a put up or shut up customer service program.

1-800-Flowers.com 1-800-flowers.com cause problems

I ordered flowers that did not arrive. When calling to complain they said its not their problem and told me to dispute it with my credit card company if I had a problem. This is the second time this has happened with this company, after talking to other its apparently a very common practice by them.

Damage Resulting. Spent the next 30 days trying to get re-reimburse. Had to order product somewhere else, and basically spent extra needless hours and resources on the phone to resolve the fraud.

1-800-Flowers.com anonymous flowers? tough!

My mother received flowers for her 82nd birthday today. The card had a message on it but was unsigned. A call to the delivering florist asking the identity of the sender was met with questions of her own. The shop owner had earlier tried to contact 1800flowers to find the same answer. Chick at 1800flowers said she could not give out the name of the sender. I told the florist I would call later and find out myself. I called this evening and spoke to a nice young lady. She also was unable to give me the name of the sender citing their privacy policy. She called the sender and tried to get an OK to give out his name. He was not home. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I waited for a LONG time until I was "DISCONNECTED" before the supervisor got to me. I immediately called back, spoke to Chris and said I wanted to know NOW the name of the sender. And to give me a supervisor please. Soon, Kyle came on the line and again cited the privacy policy. What about my mother's privacy? I explained the situation our family had been going thru the last few years and we would like to know if this was again a police matter. He told me if I was that upset to call the police! I doubt that Kyle would even give the police the name of the sender. Hey I guess no one you know has ever been stalked and harassed and taunted. Protect the anonymous sender... fine... you won't see me at ANY of your conglomerate sites... ever.

I agree. They use to be the number one florist and now they are one of the worst. One of the problems is hiring overseas processors who do not understand english. Hour long waits on the phone for a simple request or question. I was put on hold for 10 times, it was awful.

When this company had american employees who spoke english, the company ran smooth.

It is terrible how so many of our companies now have such poor customer service due to the hiring of non american workers in India and the philippines. Paying cheap doesn't always work.

Same thing just happened to me, I called literally 8 different times and they won’t tell me. They called the guy and he said he doesn’t want me to know. I had some guy come into my work asking for me the other day! This is creepy! This policy is BS! Will be going to cops tomorrow and hopefully they can figure this out…don’t know how seriously they will take me but fingers crossed. It’s a very uneasy feeling.

Your freaking out for no reason. Take the gesture as what it is. Your grandmother or anyone of you guys had a right to deny acceptance of the flowers. Whether the person sends you flowers or not. If they are stalker, they are stalker regardless of sending you flowers. Some people feel that mystery and intrigue might make her feel good that someone actually may possibly know her. Did you ask your grandmother how she feels about them. If a stalker wanted to do any ill will they would send you a rock with a note on it through your window at your home! :)

If I had a stalker (and I have many) I'd rather them send me flowers and be done with it. I have gotten a lot of unsolicited gifts BC my family and I were pretty well known in our parts and I'd say thanks to whoever sent me this beautiful arrangement and possibly they might have the balls to approach me. I have gotten flowers and cards from people professing their love to me when they have met me once. BC, I am good tipper of have some class as through their eyes. WHen I was 18 I had a card and flowers on my car. And, I worked for this apartment complex. They were read roses so its romantic and a card telling me about himself, his age, he must have been ten years or a little older than me. Some Military guy, as I remember it was of decent rank and he said he came in to get a package and thought I was so beautiful and sweet and he lives in unit "who knows now" after 27 years later. i actually still look like in my late 20's and early 30's and that's why I always have these young kids that pursue me as friends. One of my girlfriends was like "That's not fair you Asians can be whatever age you want. Most people say they can tell how old I am when I speak. BC, I am told that I am very intelligent as well. :). Yes, I can rub my own ego. Ha ha. But yea, he said that he would love it if I would let him take me out and put his number on it and said if I didn't call him. He promised he would never bother me again. And, he didn't, besides I never stay at a job very long, not even after I got recruited from grad school straight from the .com boom.

It's a kind gesture and take it as it is, rather then over doing the attention seeking thing letting everyone know she got anonymous flowers recycle them then. Maybe the lady in the next room over doesn't have any flowers and tell her your grandmother wanted to hope her a speedy recovery and asked you her nephew or whoever you are to grab her a nice bouquet and you hope this brightens her day. Get over it! It's things like this that causes unnecessary drama and wars!

You clearly do not understand. You clearly have never had a stalker. My dad has one and she keeps sending him flowers from 1800 and even drove 3 hours at 4 am to confront him at our door, so no she’s not being “dramatic”. Being scared that some crazy person is going to hurt your family and then having a company protect THEM instead of you is something to be mad about. It’s not a kind gesture it’s creepy. Stop being such a narcissist.

Wow people are so insensitive. I just received anonymous flowers with a scary note saying they have been watching me and admiring me. Not flattering at all as a woman who works all kinds of hours. There should be a system to protect us from feeling vulnerable. They were delivered when I wasn't there so the argument to refuse delivery doesn't fly. And it not about the flowers, it the note and the intent behind it that males me afraid.

As so many have already said, if you're worried about a stalker, then call the police. Anonymous flowers are harmless.

Here's a link showing how much women actually love receiving anonymous flowers...https://www.quora.com/Women-What-does-it-feel-like-to-receive-flowers-unexpectedly

I'm just devastated that 1800flowers.com would take your money and not even live up to there guarantee of "available for same day delivery" I'm just at a lost for words hey failed to deliver my Valentines day order on 2/14 or 2/15 mind when I placed the order it said that it was available for same day delivery. I placed the order on 2/12/2008 and received a confirmation of the order on the same day. When I called them tonight on 2/15/2008 they're telling me that it will be delivered on Monday 2/18/2008. Monday is a holiday I'm not at work on that day and neither will she and I know dang well she is not going to accept a Happy Valentines Day gift on that day! I don't want that sorry ### apology they gave me. I'm stuck but I will be disputing the charges!

1800 Flowers not only failed to deliver 2 of 3 of my flower arrangements but they are also an un-American company. The original person that takes your order is wonderful and just so happens is an American. You think that everything is ok. Then someone calls you back stating that some of the orders will not be able to be delivered. So you have to call them back IN INDIA! Everyone you talk to is Indonesian. The reception is horrible! They are unfamiliar with policies and procedures.
It took me two days to finally cancel the 2 orders that they weren't going to be able to fill. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

1-800-Flowers.com valentine's day was ruined for me and my wife!

I ordered some flowers from 1800flowers.com for my wife for Valentine's Day to be delivered to her at work. The delivery was guaranteed to be delivered on Valentine's Day and never got there.

I got worried around 2:00pm on Valentine's Day, so I decided to call and check on the order.

When I called the message said that all of there representatives were currently busy and ended the call. I didn't even have the choice of waiting to speak to someone.

I never got through to anyone on Valentine's Day and my wife never received her flowers. The day after the delivery person called and said that she was unable to deliver the flowers yesterday and couldn't say what time she could deliver them today. I called the local place that was delivering the flowers since I finally had the number that I was trying to get from 1800flowers the day before when I couldn't get anyone. I asked about the guaranteed delivery date for Valentines Day and I was told that I would have to take that up with 1800flowers.

I still can't get in touch with 1800flowers. I just keep getting cut-off. Valentine's Day was ruined for me and my wife! I would not recommend 1800flowers to anyone. I had a guaranteed delivery date but no flowers and couldn't get anyone form 1800flowers. A company that big should have a way that someone could get in touch with someone when there is a problem instead of just getting cut-off.

AWFUL customer service. Hospital delivery was paid for to arrive yesterday. The customer service claimed the order was attempted to be delivered THIS MORNING to the BILLING ADDRESS(!?) The order clearly states recipient name, hospital addy & room #, and no delivery came to the billing address. Transferred to several people they disconnected twice

My children sent me tulips for my 70th birthday (2/2) but the flowers arrived on 2/4

They didn’t open - they just turned brown and rotted.

They asked for a picture today but I didn’t send it because I didn’t want to hurt their feelings.

This is a second complaint about different order.

Last week I sent flowers to the to a friend in the hospital. I listed her first name as Cathy instead of Catherine but I gave her last name and room number. They said it was delivered. I didn't hear from my sick friend, THE NEXT DAY I got call saying nobody was there with that name. Canceled...

My experience with 1800flowers.com was terrible also. I ordered 1 week in advance, a birthday arraingement to be delivered to a cruise ship in port at Port of Miami. I confirmed delivery a few days before the due date and was told everything was fine. I emailed and called them to let them know the ship leaves port at 5PM sharp and the proper terminal number and was told not to worry, it will be there. Then on the day of delivery, at 3PM, I get a call from 1800flowers asking me to call them. Seems there is a problem with delivery. First, they needed a money order for $5.00 in order to deliver to the port. Then they needed to be licensed to be able to deliver into the port. My God, don't you think this would have been routed to a company that actually has done this before? They weren't very apologetic and actually told me that I didn't have to get upset about this small inconvenience. They could simply deliver it to my fiancee's when she returns 6 days later. Real nice...never again!

1-800-Flowers.com misrepresentation & lies!

Failed to Deliver Flowers as instructed; in fact they didn't even check that the local store that was to deliver was open, we found that out from a second representative after the first representative said the flowers would be delivered by 7 pm (which was a complete lie)... by that time we could not go out and get the flower ourselves.. this is the second time this has happened... this time was worse given the misrepresentation (lie)!

My wife just ordered TWO arrangements from this company. At first, I questioned why they charged so much for delivery, as that was typically built into the price of local florists. THEN, we get notices that they sent them by UPS! So, rather than receiving an arrangement that is all fluffed out, and handled at appropriate temperatures as expected from a florist, the recipients got packages that could have been sent from a factory in China. What a rip off!

Ordered get well flowers for my granddaughter. I ordered 6 peach or white roses w/a bear and two baloons. Rcvd a call that they could not do balloons but would substitute a few more roses instead.
My granddaughter rcvd. 6 yellow roses, no balloons and no bear. Small version of picture and charged $87.00. Again, charged my card immediately and has made no adjustments to the price to my credit card.

Very inconsiderate and poor business.

My Husband ordered me flowers for Valentines Day. After taxes and delivery costs it ran him about 140 dollars. They carelessly made many mistakes from the beginning and still have not fixed the issue. Firstly, 2 days before Valentines day I received a call at our home and when I answered the party asked for my husband, I said "He's in the shower, may I take a message" they said sure please tell him the 800 Flowers has called. So, there went my surprise, well this is no biggie compared to the arrival of the flowers. When the flowers arrived they looked horrible, they were DEAD! I felt so sad but angry that my husband spend this amount of money on dead flowers. So I called them and surprisingly the representative was very apologetic and promised to send another arrangement at no cost and a 25% refund and promised they would be at my doorstep no later the next day or day after. Well 2 days later and still no flowers. Now when I call there isn't one representative that will even apologize, every representative that I've spoken to says "all we can do is put in another request for redelivery". Not even an apology?! What kind of company does this, I have never been treated so rudely in all my life. We will make sure to never use their services again, and I will make certain that everyone I know is well informed of their horrible customer service and poor quality of flowers.

On February 12th I called 1-800-FLOWERS to purchase a half dozen roses, a bear and a box of chocolates for my girlfriend in Alaska.

I placed the order, paid $100.64 for it and everything seemed to be going fine. Valentine's Day came and the gifts were not delivered. 1-800-FLOWERS called my girlfriend the evening of the 14th to inform her, instead of calling me, that the florist had gotten her phone number wrong and that was why her flowers had not been delivered. The representative stated that the delivery would arrive shortly. February 15th came. Still no delivery. I called 1-800-FLOWERS, once again, to find out why the hell her flowers had not been delivered. They told me that it was the fault of the florist and that they would check into it and call me back. I never received a phone call. Her flowers were delivered at almost noon on the 15th. Now, every time I call them no one will even speak to me and their automated service is designed to hang up on you if all of their customer service representatives are busy. I am very dissatisfied with the service that was provided to me. 1-800-FLOWERS is not the type of company that I would ever recommend. It wouldn't have been so bad if they would only have talked to me about the mistake. It was, however, their mistake.
