Chicago Transit Authority The blue line train service is really not good

The blue line train service is really not good. It doesn't come often and you can't rely on it. It's the only way I can get to work and school, and it's really messing things up when I have to wait over 30 minutes for a train, especially on the weekends. And not only is it not frequent, but it's also way slower than the other lines. It's just terrible how infrequent and slow this line is, especially since it goes to a major airport.

Chicago Transit Authority CTA doesn't care about its customers

CTA doesn't care about its customers... Only money! CTA bus service has dramatically declined in performance at an unacceptable level. Countless residents have to deal with lackluster employees who can't keep a driving or tracking schedule. The 9 Ashland bus is not beneficial to the surrounding areas. It does not serve the customers at an accurate rate. It is very slow and unaccommodating.

Chicago Transit Authority My last day with the company is today (3/11/2022), and I have already been kicked out of the system too soon

My last day with the company is today (3/11/2022), and I have already been kicked out of the system too soon. I'm still on the clock right now. I still gotta move documents for THEIR benefit, get my own pay and benefits info, and move personal stuff. I wasn't fired, so this shouldn't have happened before the end of the day.

Chicago Transit Authority There's been very few blue line services lately

There's been very few blue line services lately. On a Saturday afternoon, folks shouldn't have to wait for 25+ min for a train in any direction. The only thing that's consistent about the CTA blue lines is how infrequently they run, to the point where the train trackers don't even match up. The line service is awful and it's just getting worse. We're paying money to be late. This is not right and the company should be held responsible for the terrible service.

Chicago Transit Authority I've been consistently waiting for the bus, but it drives past me at the bus stop

I've been consistently waiting for the bus, but it drives past me at the bus stop. I'm on *** and ***, and this happens with the 71at bus as well as Cottage Grove. I have talked to supervisors and drivers, but no one can help fix the problems of the bus drivers driving right past or a bus never showing up. I need help; this is sad and unsafe. If they don't want to work or stop for people who have passes, can you guys help us in this city get some decent service, please?

Chicago Transit Authority Date of Dec

Date of Dec. 10, 2021. I took the Blue line train during rush hour. The Blue line train had over 20 minutes of wait time during rush hour traffic, which is a constant hassle and unreliable service. The Blue line trains are always late, they don't show up on time, and it's just completely unreliable. The wait times coming from and to *** (a very busy airport that many use) are ridiculous. They stop the whole line for various situations, and it's getting out of control. Why should I pay for unreliable and late services?

Chicago Transit Authority I'm the daughter of someone who used to work for the Chicago Transit Authority many years ago

I'm the daughter of someone who used to work for the Chicago Transit Authority many years ago. I've been trying to get rehired by the company since I passed the test. I want to move away from this area, but I don't think it's fair that I have to contribute to my mother's retirement while I have to rely on the bus without receiving any benefits. I finished high school at *** and attended college at *** in ***, and yet I still have to pay for bus rides. When will this ever end? What do I gain from this? I don't even get a free pass. I had to pay for my own college expenses, so I just want to understand why.

Chicago Transit Authority I got this unlimited ride pass, right?

I got this unlimited ride pass, right? So, at 5:06 PM, I swiped my card and went into the station. But then, like, 10 minutes later, I tried to get back on at the same stop and I couldn't. It was all like, "too many swipes" or something. I kept trying, like, every minute for 10 or 20 minutes after my first swipe. Finally, after 10 minutes, a bus came by the stop and I managed to get on that. But then I had to hurry back to the train stop I actually needed.

I called CTA support while all this was happening, but it took, like, over 40 minutes to actually talk to someone. The person on the line saw that I swiped at 5:06 and then all the swipes from 5:16 onwards didn't work. But they couldn't tell me why. I have more passes and value on my card, so why did it block my access? The representative couldn't help me and instead of passing me on to someone who could, they just hung up on me.

So, I really need to know exactly why I couldn't get on a train for, like, at least 20 minutes. And I want it fixed for the future, you know? Thanks
