Are you aware of the video of the Checkers employee rubbing a bun on the floor then making the sandwich for a customer. The video doesnt show the sandwich being served but even the making of the video and making of the sandwich is a disgrace in these day of people licking icecream and spitting in the drink and putting the items back for sale. I beleive all resturants and food service buisnesses should maintain video cameras and the actions of employee should be charged and banned from ever working with food again if not jailed

I ordered a medium fresh fries and 2 apple pies . I got barely any fries and the were cold so I took them back I was told by the manger that she couldn't give a refund. Supposed to open at 10, no one came in until 10:30. It's now almost 11 and they still aren't open. Every time we pull up they tell us 15 minutes longer. It seems like they're in the kitchen just blasting music and taking their time setting up even though the parking lot is filling up with waiting customers and even more are pulling up and just leaving.

This store opened up a week ago, the manager Carlos speaks to the staff very unprofessional almost inhuman like. My child who was scheduled to work 6 hours stayed over 45 minutes mind you she did not take a break once off the clock she want to try to retrieve her employee discount on a burger and the manager became very upset with her and told her she could not receive a discount because she is leaving not one time did he ask her to work over the schedule hours but she stayed and helped out through the rush. This would not be the first time he has done this and he threatens her with taking away her hours if she does not comply the sad part about all of this is she's not a mind reader if her shift ends at 5 o'clock and he does not ask her to stay she should feel free to wrap up what she's doing and leave I don't like the tone of voice I've witnessed him having with the workers and her self and something needs to be done about this He has shown many forms of discrimination the Hispanic children and workers get away with anything while he makes it hard for the African-Americans to make a dollar please address this issue with him to let him know this is not his business it's a franchise and he should be following the rules of the franchises
unethical workplace/ inappropriate employee treatment

I am the parent of an employee of the Checkers restaurant on 98 North in Lakeland, Fl. I also have spoken to 2 other employees of this restaurant. They have all complained of an ongoing inappropriate romantic relationship between the manager and district manager, known to me by first names only, Casey and Ashley.
They have also communicated to me that Casey often arrives at work extremely intoxicated on illegal drugs. It is evident in his physical appearance and he also has told coworkers about being "high". This highness or lack there often determines his mood and respectful treatment of employees. He often yells, is demeaning and disrespectful to employees, and has been reported to management by several employees, to no avail.
The inappropriate relationship between Casey and his superior, Ashely seems to be part of the reason why no action has been taken towards Casey. The manager Shawna is also displaying inappropriate behavior, as tonight she asked my son if he had ever gotten in any physical fights because she "he's quiet and she couldn't see him being violent." My son reported being humiliated in front of other coworkers by this inappropriate behavior, and I promptly spoke with Shawna about this tonight after my son's shift was over.
I am reporting the unfair and inappropriate treatment here on this website, and will report this misconduct to as many outlets as possible until these issues are addressed.

Did you see your employees on Facebook, rubbing a bun on the ground and making a burger with it. It went viral. People can get fatally ill over that. I will never eat there again, and everyone is reposting it. Frickin nasty. Something needs to be done about it. She needs to be charged with attempted murder in my opinion. I'm so disappointed in people like that, especially when others film it. They are just as bad.

There is a video on Facebook showing one of your employees dropping a bun on fhe floor and rubbing it around and then putting mayo on it and fixing it up to serve to a customer.
