Went on walking tour arranged by Celebrity in Kasadas, Turkey in the morning. Returned to ship for lunch in buffet around approx 2pm ate roast beef and salads then went to indoor pool where i ordered a mojito zero for myself and brother. When it came it was so different to ones been served before, quarters of lime and bitter. Only sipped a little and decided to leave, so did my brother. Started to feel sick and around about 4.30pm was violently sick up to 9.35pm. Rang medical centre and explained situation and was told to contact room service for toast, melon, ice water and calamine tea. As medical centre closed I would have to wait until morning to see doctor if I was worse. Next day as I had stopped being sick I felt better, even though I felt unable to eat.. So I did get off in Mykonos but stuck to water and bread. Managed restuarant in evening eating just bread, rice and lobster tail with no butter or lemon. Next day Santorini I stuck to bread and melon on ship but started to have diarrhoea when off ship. So that night stayed in cabin, again missed meal in restuarant, rang medical centre again, was asked to come down to centre ASAP. I had already taken modium and hadn't had any movement since 8pm. Saw doctor gave me more modium and sickness tablet. Told that Norovirus on ship but my brother who shared cabin with me , was not ill. I think I had food poisoning from food or drink on ship. In Turkey I only had iced lemon tea in the carpet making store we were taken too and the rest of the family had the same and were not ill. When speaking to the nurse on Tuesday 1st July, she noted down that I had said it was heat exhaustion which was a lie. I did say on the walking tour we weren't given time to drink. In Athens on the 27th June it was 37 degrees and we walked up to the acropolis, I didnt get heat exhaustion. I have only been compensated for the Friday. Even though I missed 3 nights in the restuarant and didn't use my zero drinks package from Tuesday until getting off the ship on Saturday. . In the medical centre it wasn't clear what they were testing me for and I had to keep ringing them to check what was going to happen going forward. I had to ring them after the 24 hrs to confirm I could leave my cabin Disappointed at response from medical centre and guest relations both blaming each other for decisions. First time in 15 years of cruising that I have been taken ill and unhappy with service. Compensation of £150 was paid for unable to leave cabin on the Friday.
Claimed loss: Would expect refunds drinks package 4 days x £32.04 = £128.16
Desired outcome: Compensate for not being able to use restuarant for 3 nights.
