What a stupid thing to do. Save a few pennies on entertainment so everyone can listen to a DJ playing elevator music from 6-9 in the grand plaza. We have been loyal Celebrity cruisers for over 20 years. The live entertainment in both the grand plaza and in Eden kept us coming back multiple times each year. Now Eden is gone from their new ship Xcel, and they no longer provide live entertainment from 6-9. Instead they have added vending machines, pool tables and seem to be cutting corners everywhere. Lunch in the replacement to Eden was dismal. Food in Luminae was not as 'wow' as it used to be. There must be enough demand for cruising, that they are able to cut back of what they provide, while of course increasing their prices. Our new cruise line will be Regent Seven Seas where i believe the high-end quality experience still exists.
