Buffalo Wild Wings review: Rude cashier and manager blamed me for card machine error

I am a regular costumer at this establishment located in Manchester CT.

I placed a takeout order today and decided to pay via credit card, the cashier that was helping me out initially was very friendly and was trying to help.

The problems began once she decided to look for assistance, once it was explained to her that credit cards payments failed with 2 different cards her initial response was: "What do you want me to do if his credit card was declined?!" I explained to her we used two different cards and that it must be the machine to which she decided to say to me: "See the paper? It says DECLINED".

After looking at the credit card receipt I realized that indeed stated decline but under reason it said: "Error".

I explained based on what the receipt stated under reason that there must be a problem with the machine to which she responded: "I don't think so" and "It's not our fault two of your credit cards were declined".

Considering her poor attitude, lack of customer service skills and just plain rudeness I requested to speak to the restaurant manager.

After waiting for 5 minutes finally the manager comes out and instead to try to acknowledge my bad experience he just stated "Yeah we needed to reset the credit card machines" and "Where's your credit card".

So at that point I realized that even the store manager lacked common decency and the customer service skills necesary to manage a retail, restaurant establishment.

His attitude and cockyness was as bad if not worse than the cashier's.

I will NOT return to this restaurant again and will make sure everyone I know and also my place of employment which typically orders from this establishment as well knows about the poor customer service.
