recently posted a great experience that I thought was great service. I took my car in for my front brakes shortly after tht I was hearing a sqeaking and tapping sound from the front end. I called to set up an appointment to see what it could be. I was told the sqeaking sound was from the brakes and was told they needed to set in, then was told the tapping noise was my struts. So I set another appointment to get them done. The day after I still heard the tapping again just the same as it did when I took ot in. I then was told it was the struts mounts, they were chevy mounts. So I felt relieved. Then after that still a tapping. Now today I'm told the tapping was coming from my brakes and it was missing a double sided sticky tape that was missing. So now here I am just spent over a $1000 of my hard earned money for no reason. When I spoke to manager about why did I change my struts when it was the brakes. He proceeded to tell me that he changed the struts because there was ware on my tires. This was the first time this was brought to my attention. Because if my tires had ware I would take it to a tire shop not a brake place, I also know you don't work on tires so why would I make that decision from that. I'm am very disappointed in what happened. This was very dishonest, I should of been made aware my tires.
Claimed loss: Paid for struts for a problem that pertained to my brakes. So paid $1000 for struts because I was told that was the tapping noise my front end was making
Desired outcome: So sort of compensation
