On 5/5 I ordered a Bend Pak Lift serial # 1***-001-005 through Powerworx Automotive Equipment, an authorized Bendpack distributor in Jupiter Fl. Powerworx sent an authorized installer Vinny with Lift Masters inc, to install the new Bendpack equipment. it was installed June . We were pleased with the lift until January when I noticed two of the four posts buckling on the lift. I stopped the operation and immediately called Powerworx, who then advised me to get in touch with Bendpack. I called with my complaint/ warranty issue and dealt with Monica and Ana initially. They were courteous but failed to sense the urgency of mu situation. At my insistence, they then transferred me to cust service agent Ephrem Passion who, just from my explanation of the column failure, declared the collapse "not covered" under their warranty. After finding his indifference completely unacceptable, he asked for photo proof of the collapsed steel. I complied by sending pictures of the failed posts. Once again I was told there was no warranty coverage because Ephrem claimed it was overloaded. Then he added it was "user error" and not his problem. Dissatisfied with his indifference I was finally passed onto customer service rep. J *** who simply fell back to the convenience of claiming "user error" as the blame. Sparked by their apathy of my situation, I insisted their equipment failure response was unreasonable and totally unacceptable. That assertation was supported by their own distributor as well as his equipment installer. The distributor and the installer concluded the true fault was "failure of structural integrity" and the responsibility of the manufacturer. The distributor even stated "I have purchased many lifts from Bend pak in my years in trhe business and have never seen this before. Based on my personal experience, it appears that the structure steel on the channels is weak and gave away bending it outward. That lift is dangerous and needs to be addressed ASAP." I am out all revenue since

On May 5, I ordered a Bend Pak Lift with the serial number 1XXX-001-005 through Powerworx Automotive Equipment, an authorized Bendpack distributor located in Jupiter, Florida. Powerworx dispatched an authorized installer named Vinny from Lift Masters Inc. to set up the new Bendpack equipment. The installation was completed in June . Initially, we were satisfied with the lift until January , when I observed two of the four posts showing signs of buckling. I ceased using the lift and promptly contacted Powerworx, who advised me to reach out to Bendpack. I reported my complaint and warranty issue to Monica and Ana at Bendpack. They were polite but did not grasp the urgency of my situation. Persisting, I was transferred to customer service agent Ephrem Passion, who immediately deemed the column failure as 'not covered' by their warranty based solely on my description. His apathy was striking, and after I protested, he requested photographic evidence of the damaged steel. I sent images of the compromised posts, only to be informed again that the warranty would not apply because, according to Ephrem, the lift had been overloaded. He further attributed the issue to 'user error' and dismissed it as not his concern. Dissatisfied with his dismissive attitude, I was eventually referred to another customer service representative, J XXX, who echoed the 'user error' rationale. Frustrated by their lack of concern for my predicament, I argued that their response to the equipment failure was unreasonable and utterly unacceptable. This stance was backed by both their distributor and the installer, who agreed that the root cause was a 'failure of structural integrity' and thus the responsibility of the manufacturer. The distributor even commented, 'I have purchased many lifts from Bendpak over my years in the business and have never encountered this issue before. From what I can tell, the structural steel in the channels is substandard, causing it to bend outward. The lift is hazardous and requires immediate attention.' As a result of this ordeal, I am now without any revenue since.
