I booked with bookit.com called to confirm my stay and they have not paid the hotel but have taken all of my money out of my account I need something to be done about this because they have closed they company they have consistently taken upon themselves to take each payment and gave customers no notice as to they were shutting down but contacted the hotels and informed them that they were not going to pay them that we had to pay again

Received email notice that my $1400 trip was cancelled. Tried to get into contact with the company and their phones are turned off, only a robo-message playing before disconnecting. I tried emailing customer service and it said my email was blocked. Now I’m left holding the bag, out $1400 without a solution from the company. I’ve contacted my bank and filed a claim for the charges. Hopefully I get refunded. Not fair to the consumer to operate like this.
